The process of rebooking was terrible -- took almost 2 hours standing in line and the booking agent wasn't knowledgable Had to make an additional stop in LAX and arrived in Honolulu 5 hours later than we were supposed to. VERY disappointing experience all around!"

Some people were angry about this but it wasn't their fault. How could it be? They were just repeating what they were told. It's not their fault that their organizers told them incorrect stuff. I sympathized with them more than I usually would because some passengers were such jerks to them. I appreciate that they were keeping us in the loop. We basically knew as much as they knew. It made me feel like we were all in this bad situation together, which we were. They wanted to get home, too. That was the right way to handle this. The actual flight was uneventful. Plane was clean. Seats were about as comfortable as you would expect for the price."
Cons: "Where to begin. It was delayed 1.5 hours, then we boarded, waited maybe 30 minutes, then we UNBOARDED because they needed a new plane, then it was delayed AGAIN. When we finally landed in Chicago we were about 5 hours behind schedule. I feel bad for the crew because they were left dealing with angry passengers, I know it wasn't their fault. Just poor corporate planning. In addition I did have a truly mind boggling experience with an employee. We were lined up for our first boarding, in a huge line, having waited for 1.5 hours, and suddenly a woman with multiple bags cut in line. I said "Excuse me ma'am but there IS a line" and she smiled and said "Oh, sorry, I'm an employee". I apologized and she cut everyone and boarded. That's when I realized that she was NOT WORKING THE FLIGHT. She was just using her privilege to cut in line. She cut in front and saved maybe 5 minutes. I mean, why bother. Why bother pissing off paying customers to save 5 minutes. People around me were so angry. Then she got on the flight and held everything up because she needed to load her 4 pieces of luggage into the overhead bin, taking up an entire bin. Flight crew actually moved people's bags to accommodate her. And one of her bags was a full sized suitcase that would never have been allowed if she wasn't an employee. Simply ridiculous, the only thing saving her was that there were open seats. She was not taking a seat from a paying customer. I would say that I wouldn't fly Frontier again but honestly all of the companies suck so I don't know who to pick. Every airline has some story or another of crappy customer service. I wish the barrier for entry wasn't so high so that competitors could swoop in....as much as I dislike the Elon Musk's of the world it would be great if some billionaire swooped in with their money and made an airline that actually worked."

Cons: "Where do I start? Going to Vegas (from Chicago), we sat on the tarmac for 90 minutes with no explanation. We finally took off after that, and no attempt was made to regain lost time. In fact, the flight took even longer after we were up than the original plan. The seats were very uncomfortable. I don't know if the seats on the return trip had more padding, but there seemed to be a noticeable difference between the two flights, not just by myself, but noticeable in the lack of squirming on the second flight by everyone else as well."

I paid extra for a specific seat, and when another passenger took it, a flight attendant gave me a hard time when I asked them to move. I was unaware that I'd have to pay $40 just for a carry on until AFTER I booked the flight, in which case I would've just chosen a better airline."

I arrived at the ticket counter at 9am to a line of people with 12 empty counters.We were told by other airlines and security that they open at 9:30.Finally some came at 9:45...and then only one person. Also by the time I added an additional 65.00 for baggage my flight ended up costing more than if I would have taken a classier airline."

To start, Frontier does not include any carry-ons with the flight, so either we pay $70.00 round trip for a bag or we have to shove everything we want for our trip into a "personal bag". We checked in about 24 hours before the flight and realized only after we had already waited in line for security that we needed printed paper boarding passes rather than using our phones (like every other airline). Luckily, we didn't wait until the last minute to show up, so we could go back, re-check in, wait in line for security a second time, and make it to our gate. Once boarded, things turned even worse when we realized that the seats on this Airbus were nothing more than very thin plastic with a very small amount of cushion, making the metal folding chairs from my youth seem preferable. In addition, while planes are not necessarily known for being comfortable, even the small conveniences of other planes were missing. These seats had no entertainment devices, terribly positioned armrests, a tray table that would barely hold my iPhone, no option to recline at all, and so little room ahead of us that my knees were pushed against the seat ahead of me. I was offered some respite when the flight attendant said that the flight was completely boarded but there were some exit row seats available. We were told that the attendants would "be happy to move you to a seat with a little more leg room and would be happy to swipe your card for the $50.00 charge". Really? $50.00 for an upgrade to an exit row? Generally, any flight I have been on will give a free upgrade or two if these seats are vacant. Nobody is there anyway, so why not offer them to give a sense of friendliness to your customers? You are not making any money on those seats anyway. On a roughly four hour flight, there were drinks and snacks offered, but their special was 2 cans of soda and a snack (peanuts or trail mix) for 9.00. Water, soda, and all snacks were an extra charge... Bottom line, this was a terrible experience with a terrible airline. If I have anything to say about it, I will never fly with Frontier again."
