Flights from Lisbon to Rome: the best tips from KAYAK users' own experiences

Insights shared by verified travelers who flew the route from Lisbon to Rome
MaximFlew with TAP AIR PORTUGAL-Mar 2024
Gate numbers are announced exactly 1 hour before departure time, and gates can close as early as 30 minutes before departure. So, there are about 10 minutes between the time you'll learn your gate number and the time the boarding will start. My wife and I arrived at our gate 30 minutes before departure time, and it was a minute too late: we had to wait for the next flight to Rome. However, TAP staff were very helpful with the flight rebooking.
Verified travelerFlew with TAP AIR PORTUGAL-Feb 2024
I had to clear customs, get to a the other side of then airport, go through security again , and take a bus for ten minutes across the tarmac all within the one hour ten minute layover! It was fine but very tight! Plan accordingly!
