Cons: "... on top of that I kindly requested to speak with a supervisor and i was denied it. As a customer I deserved that. I would a ticket with Aerolineas and nowhere it said it was delta. I followed the baggage allowance explained on kayak website and on Aerolineas Argentinas. I took a bicycle which is free and i pay $100 to packed it as Aerolineas wanted. When I arrived it was a Delta flight and they told they don't allow bicycles and that i had to play $150. Aerolineas website and kayak clearly says that bicycles were free on my flight. I show the agent my ticket and that no where it said delta to consider what he was saying since it is an alliance but i was not informed about it. He said no and after wait there for a while before boarding i kindly ask to speak with a supervisor and the denied it and disappeared. I request a refund of my fee to you for providing incorrect information."

Cons: "Gate agent was the worst in two years..never smiled, never thanked anyone and didnt call me by name or recognize my diamond status. Boarding was a fiasco with the pillars in too small of a gate. FA had too much coffee they kept main babin lights on way too long and kept loudly asking if anyone wanted extra drinks snacks....this is a redeye, people want to sleep!!"

Pros: "The crew is always wonderful. The complimentary beverage and snack really makes the flight better, even in the tiny seats. The flights with tv screens and charging ports are great, although they only seem to be on my shorter of the two connecting flights."
Cons: "Crew allows the first zones to place both their carryon and personal items in overhead storage, filling the bins before many travelers board the plane. We are then asked to check our bag, and are forced to put our 1 bag between our legs, whole many people stored two overhead. Flight was delayed a few minutes and time was not made up in air. Delta changed a few of our flights before we were even off the plane, while other passengers were allowed to keep their original flight (originally we all had the same connecting flight). Looks to me like they overbooked and pulled some of us randomly. Also, my checked bag was sent on wrong plane, and sat unattended at next airport for 2 hours."

When she showed up, she said she would not give seat assignments for another 15 minutes, so come back then. When I came back she said she wasn't giving seat assignments; go see the person checking in boarding passengers at the gate. That agent said she couldn't give me a seat, but watch the monitor for my name for seat assignments, then come back. Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

Cons: "The boarding process is very confusing. There are so many different boarding priorities and programs, it is difficult to know where you are in the boarding process. Even if you have a ticket labeled as Group 1, you may still be one of the last boarded because of all the different programs that have priority over you. Would be better to limit the advance boarding to people who need extra help and a single program. This leads to the question, why are there so many different programs? Wouldn't it be easier to have a single loyalty program? If you don't qualify for advance boarding because you did not purchase a first class seat, or you haven't reached the advance boarding requirements, you don't qualify. Let's start thinking about the customer again, and less on the profit margin. How would one of your executives feel if they had a boarding Group 2 and 85% of the plane was already boarded by the time your group was called, thereby limiting the space for your correct size carry-on? One more thing that would be beneficial, enforce the size limit for carry-on luggage. I have been to airports that limit the size with a box on the x-ray machine so you can not even get an oversized piece of luggage through security. Just one idea for the industry."

Cons: "There was a prolonged delay on arrival in Panama, as the gate was apparently in use. They set up stairs (on the runway?) and they transported us by bus to the airport. On the connecting flight to Guatemala, they began boarding an hour before departure, only to wait on a bus to be taken to the aircraft. Apparently the airline doesn't only double book seats on flights, but on Gates on arrival and departure as well? Aside from this particular gripe, the crews were pleasant and the airfare was a relative bargain, so all in all not a bad option IMO."

It would be great if you could keep up with that trend =) Otherwise it would really make me (and a lot of other people) happy if the disposable items such as cutlery and packaging were optional, so to reduce the plastic waste. Cons: "We traveled with an infant who sat on our laps. We were never asked about the infant traveling until we went to check in at the desk and were told we needed to pay taxes for the baby at a rate of 10% of the cost of the ticket. But because we were doing it on the day of the flight, 10% was almost $200! We did not receive good customer service from staff, who simply told us we "should have known to investigate this." We have never been asked to do this when flying with a baby before! This was after an hour and a half of already waiting to check in our bags. We were waiting so long and dealing with this issue for so long that we almost missed the flight! A terrible experience. Also, the web check in line took even longer than the line of people who had not checked in online beforehand! It was so slow, it added to us almost missing our flight. It was a waste of time to check in online, especially since they gave us new boarding passes when we checked our bags in anyway. We also had trouble finding both of our reservations, even though we booked them together as a family, so we ended up with seats that were not together. When we had an issue, we were given an attitude by the staff checking us in."

Panama airport use to be a good airport, now you can't really buy anything because they don't accept credit cards, and the Copa saloon is always full, so I'm thinking on flying avianca from now on."

Shame on her comment! AA offers their flights to many companies snd I now wonder if her comment is true, which makes me consider next time I choose an airline. In Buenos Aires when We checked in something similar happened and we could not book our seats the day before bcause they were all taken . The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

Cons: "How can a plane be this cold?? I travel all the time, but I have never experienced this. It seemed like there was a general temp control - apart from the air vents. I had on a sweatshirt and by the end of the flight was sitting on my hands! Couple that with the “I don’t care” attitude of the flight crew, and I was counting the minutes to landing. Definitely not the AA that I’ve given my business to."

There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

There are so many expats in Buenos Aires and they all buy tickets in Argentina to go to Uruguay within 3 months. Upon showing the immigration of Argentina my USA passport at the entry, they have NEVER asked me for any kind of proof that I would be leaving within 3 months. At first I started to purchase a ticket to Uruguay by boat and the attendant even asked me the website of the boat because she told me that these problems come up all the time for expats going to Argentina for longer than 3 months. You are ONLY AN AIRLINE. YOU ARE NOT THE IMMIGRATION OF ARGENTINA. Having this said, I never plan to fly Avianca again."

Overhead bins full of spare plastic cups. As far as the crew are concerned, no problem, because you can just push your way three or four rows forward while everyone else is boarding and then take someone else's overhead space. When will Air Canada learn how to run an airline?"

Cons: "Breakfast menu (omlette & chicken sausage) hasn't changed forever... 777 pods definitely more comfortable than 787-9"

Cons: "I was stranded in TO for 12 hours without a hotel room because of Air Canada inefficiency and horrible customer service! I’m never flying AC again if there’s any other airlines flying to my destination"

Cons: "- flight departed late but been told there would be no problem catching short connection - connection plane was there and still connected - could not board : tickets were cancelled while we were in the air in previous flight! - next flight left actually ... 1 min early. We could have boarded - been told it was because of luggages that could not connect. Lie. - clear case of over booking - disguised so Air Canada wouldn't pay for it"

Pros: "the crew are super friendly. even on a little plane from DC-Toronto they had entertainment options which i wouldn't have expected. boarded quickly and landed on time. nobody bats an eye at my wife's weird beverage requests."
Cons: "the cabin of the plane on the return flight didn't have any air conditioning running during boarding and it was uncomfortably hot because it was about 85F outside. the crew only bothered to inform us of the issue when a poor hungover guy behind me asked about it because he was suffering... as were we all. plane didn't get comfortable until over 30 minutes in, at which point we were beginning our descent anyway."

Pros: "Boarding process was smooth, staff was friendly and helpful, flight was safe and as comfortable as an overseas flight can be. I'll definitely consider Air Canada again and would recommend the airline to others considering it."

This caused us to make an unplanned stop which added a total of another 2 3/4 hours to our trip. Really not enough fuel to make a trip we paid for. The cabin was very warm, and we had already eaten our food we brought. Many people missed connections... Not pleased with Air Canada"

Both times I was on the plan and my bag wasn't? How can they can send me on my flight without my bags, yet, they screwed up and I get there on time without my bags and they will not let me on the plane."

Pros: "- At Rome FCO, one of the Air Canada representatives pulled out of the line to get us into the business class check-in line since we had 2 kids - we totally loved this focus on families and respect the attention to detail! - The flight from FCO to YYZ was awesome! great food, great service, constant flow of drinks and the dessert was awesome! my kids are picky eaters and even they enjoyed the food - Movie and entertainment selection was awesome - Lastly, appreciated the prompt service for getting child stroller at the door of the aircraft at all times (from FCO-YYZ-PDX)"
Cons: "- The new designed aircraft are meant to pack more passengers which means the aisle for rolling the trolley is very narrow - poor flight attendants were having a challenge and bumping trolley into seats (not their fault at all) - given likelihood of injuries and lawsuits, I highly recommend AIR CANADA management to do something about this narrow aisle before it is too late (i.e. major lawsuit filed by future passenger on account of injury sustained because of getting hurt by food trolley)"

Cons: "The flight attendant was rude to every single person that asked for anything on the flight. Even someone asking for a simple glass of water was given attitude. I booked my seats over the phone and they were not the seats they told me they were. Aweful service"
