Boarded from a very small gate at LAX. Staff at gate had us line up, then waited 25 minutes to board without a word of explanation. Plane arrived on time then waited 20 minutes for a plane to vacate our gate. Majority of bags arrived after 15 minutes but it took an hour for a small number of remaining bags to be off-loaded despite my “priority” bag tag.
It's fine but Newark to Nashville was too long
The flight was delayed because they closed several flight ways because of air shows, fire works, etc.
Horrible experience. They delayed our flight 7 hours!! We had to seat at the airport with kids on 4th July all day!
Excellent flight. On time. Great staff. Clean and crisp cabin.
The flight was delayed by a hour and I wish they had communicated it sooner. No issues on the plane, it did take a while for food to come.
Know that the movies that you are going to be offered are the oldest be rated movies they could possibly get. They may have one or two new movies that they keep advertising but when you’re flying 15 hours, there is nothing to see past the first new movie.
Sitting on the runway after we land for almost two hours! Not sure if we should blame United or Just Dumpy Vance.
Door to door, the crew and staff were amazing. It was a stressful travel day with delays, but they were focused on customers and doing what they could to get us to our destinations.
Please please take consideration when setting cabin temperature. The vents were not functional and it was over 70 degrees in the cabin during the winter months when most people are used to much cooler indoor temperatures. I was down to my white t-shirt and the sweat pants I wore from Auckland to San Francisco and was sweating profusely and there was NO VENT!
Boarding was awful - no order, people cutting in line, completely chaotic Planes are very old and uncomfortable. Noticeable difference between Delta and United on same route.
AA delayed the flight for 3 hours and 50 minutes, but delayed the last 2 hours, 30 minutes at a time, so if we knew before, could have stayed at home and worked instead of being at the airport wasting time... The plane's crew was excellent, not their fault.
Having to reschedule flights a day later, they loaded by luggage on the wrong plane from Little rock now I have to HOPE they deliver it to where im staying like they said would. International flight crew was very disgruntled and not very friendly.
You were more on time than United. I'm so over united delays.
The flight was quick which gave me more time to get to my other flight.
The flight got canceled due to mechanical issues, and he to be rebooked and missed my appointments for that day
Delayed flights and lost bags. It was a terrible experience this time.
Overall, from checking in bags to getting on plane, not enough employees to be able to get all on the plane, therefore I was not able to get on the plane, due to no one wea there for me to check in my bag, so I decided to go thru the security point and by the time they were done with my bags, I was told that my bag cannot be checked in, and then found out that the lady that does the check in was boarding the customers onto the plane, she said that she was going back and fourth, there for was not able to get on the plane, which changed all my flights by the time I got to Dallas, I was on standby 3 times, and wasn't sure about being able to get on the fourth plane, so ended up buying another plane ticket, so I could make my destination on time.
Apart from changing gates and terminals yet again and almost missing my flight it was ok. Luckily American airlines was delayed once again.
I think the flight attendant and first class was terrific, but whoever had to work in coach where I say didn’t seem happy about it, extremely mediocre service, not friendly, just putting 1 foot in front of the other. Just seemed “over it.”
