That should be possible, otherwise the value of staying in SKY TEAM isn’t as valuable to me."

Pros: "There wasn't much to like. Just about everything was wrong. The plane was a newish 787, so it didn't feel old. Boarding went well because we complained about how tired we, at 70+, were because the flight was late and we'd been standing up; this resulted in us being boarded with some of the latish priority passengers."
Cons: "Everything, really. The plane was very crowded; small seats, little leg room. The meals were mediocre and the cabin staff were just barely the good side of unhelpful, officious and unfriendly The flight was inexplicably 2 hours or more late in excellent weather. No apologies given, the flight that was originally scheduled for 8 pm left close to 11 pm. While boarding the only light is a purplish ambient lighting that made it impossible to read anything, including the safety material, until the inflight entertainment was loaded up (the lights are only controlled through software-actuated virtual buttons on the screen). The inflight entertainment system is hard to use, too, designed by idiots for use by geniuses. But the very worst thing was the stress caused by Virgin Atlantic in just about guaranteeing that we would miss this flight. On our outbound voyage in January, VA, for reasons nobody knows, booked an ADDITIONAL leg from JHB to CPT on BA at 12:30 pm, even though we were already ON the earlier 9:30 BA flight we'd booked and paid for. Then, when we didn't show up for this spurious flight (because we were already in the air) we didn't book (BA swears they have evidence that VA made this booking), our return flight CPT to JBG three months later was cancelled WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. If I hadn't been interested in knowing, the day before the flight, if the return BA flight had a meal, I would have showed up at the CPT airport in April and discovered that I had no way to get to the VA flight in JHB! As it was I spent an entire day trying to get back on the flight I'd already paid for. I advise EVERYONE who uses VA to reconfirm flights over and over. There is still no explanation for this. I will never NEVER fly VA again. They are not to be trusted."

Only, my new flight from London was delayed by one hour, causing me to land late in Philadelphia, and miss my new connecting flight to Raleigh. I was put on a different flight, but there was no seat for me, so I ended up being stuck at the airport overnight. All these in one day!"

Plus I truly admire one of the air stewardess's ability to chew gum - she was chewing vigorously throughout the 7-hour long flight. Amazing."

Pros: "My flight had a really tight connection at London Heathrow. Then my flight from Vienna arrived 10 minutes late which made it even worse. A very nice BA agent met me as I deplaned at London Heathrow and ran with me thru Terminal 3. Helped me clear security with a priority card and ran to my gate with 2 minutes to spare. The women was really nice and if it was not for her I am sure I would not have made my connection. I don't know if there is anyway to track her down and thank her but I would like to do so. The flight attendants were OK but not excessively helpful."

Cons: "Crew brought food whether you wanted it or not. They loaded up my husband's tray table with food for 3, even though they were all asleep. I was sitting across the way, so, perhaps they didn't hear me say no thanks. The entertainment system was awful. You had to go through all the steps again and again every time you tried to simply check flight information. Annoying. When we arrived DFW customs, one of our bags was missing. Still in London. No surprise. LHR is awful. We would not see that bag again for nearly 4 days. They gave me some thing about a belt problem between T5 and T3 in LHR. We went from T3 to T3. No excuse. Probably fell off somewhere. Chocolates were a bit melted and chip bags burst. Whenever it was, it sat in heat."

Cons: "Flight was 4 people overbooked. Boarding time was unclear because thr airport never changed the boarding time on screens. We also had to have our passports checked 3 times 2 through regular customs and one just to get into the small waiting lounge. Families and friends' seats were scattered throughout the plane. Boarding was chaotic because children were crying because of separation. Didn't realize this fought was operated by American Airlines so I couldn't call ahead of time, but even then... There were no switching because there was zero space."

Cons: "First, the London desk crew are not the the first people you want to encounter at 5:30 in the morning of travel. We were in an older aircraft - my seat-back compartment was broken so it leaned against my legs for 9 hours. They ran out of one of the breakfast options by the time they got to me so I was stuck with just fruit and crackers because I was allergic to the sole remaining option. Not only didnt we have individual screens, but they played the same movie back-to-back."

Man next to me had lap top and tablet open all 11 hours of the flight, elbowed me constantly as he typed, and took up much more room than was in the seat. You can't expect passengers to have to confront/call out such bad behavior; the crew (which certainly observed my seatmate's incredibly rude/greedy behavior and my discomfort) must be proactive."

Most of the staff seemed friendly and helpful except for one stewardess who seemed to be in a very bad mood. The food was fair for airline food and the free wine or beer with the meal was appreciated. The snacks we received before we landed were very tasty!"
Cons: "The seats made you feel cramped and the gap between the window seat and the outside of the plane made any light from a window shade opened in front of you blinding when the rest of the plane was pretty much dark with windows closed. TV touch screens on the back of the seats in front of you were slow responding and hard to see when a window shade was open near you."
Pros: "All the AA staff were great, very helpful as I was traveling alone with my 10 month old son. One of the flight attendants helped me carry our things on, because it's tough to carry my son in his safety seat and our bags through the narrow aisles without beating up everyone in the aisle seats as we go through! She also checked on us multiple times to see if there was anything else she could help us with."
Cons: "The AA check-in at Heathrow is terrible. It took us over an hour to get through the line, then another 20 minutes to get our seats changed because the seats we had been assigned weren't suitable for an infant safety seat! Also, the plane is older than the one I first took on the RDU to london route back in 2001. The seating is cramped and there is no seat back entertainment."
