Cons: "Air Canada is by far the worst airline ever! Lost our connection flight and arrived super late after being relocated in another flight."
Cons: "The flight itself was great but it was very late in starting due to technical problems with the aircraft."
Pros: "I got to my destination safely, luggage came out guickly n intact."
Cons: "I have no complaints. I taught the flight was good."
Pros: "Quick and easy"
Pros: "Very happy with my trip"
Cons: "My lineup in USA entry line was ridiculous and I missed my boarding time because it was as hard to get the air Canada attendants attention so I ended up waiting 40 minutes anxious about missing my plane. Their kiosks weren’t working proper hence the longer line."
Cons: "Cancelled one flight, then delayed another one because they were waiting for a pilot. They offered very little help, citing that they couldn’t control the weather, meanwhile WestJet is finding & paying for rooms, shuttle buses and taxis to make the delay more tolerable and less stressful. We could only watch and wish we were flying WestJet."
Cons: "no flights between noon and 9pm. pay for snacks..on westjet they were free"
Cons: "7:05am Flight got cancelled and they saw fit to rebook us on a 20:30pm flight.. decided to reroute us to anotjer city in canada and down to a different airport in DC Lost my luggage from time i checked it it at 0500am yo time dflight was cancelled and rebooked at 0700. And to fike claim and travrl without jt. Worst experience ever."
Cons: "Air Canada is always late in my experience. I always end up waiting at the gate for the inbound flight which happens to be late. It is so annoyingly dishonest, considering that the flight is announced as on-time up until minutes before the departure time. When all along they know the incoming flight is late. After we boarded the plane at origin, we spent 15 minutes at the gate and quite a bit on the runway. When nearing the DCA, the plane took a complete detour went near Baltimore and then Annapolis and then flew back to near Gaithersburg as if it was intentionally wasting time on the air. Upon landing in DCA we had to wait 15 minutes on the taxiway waiting for the gate to clear. The (one hour long) flight that was scheduled to land at 10:20pm landed just before midnight. Air Canada is awful. This happens every time I fly with Air Canada and their conduct is just cheap and dishonest."
Cons: "Our luggage didn't scan in the system so we couldn't go to the gate until it was found & scanned in the system. Fortunately we were early so this wasn't an issue but kept us waiting at "step 2" until an actual photo could be found. We also had a delay after boarding while they changed a tire. It all worked out ok."
Pros: "Inonized windows"
Pros: "Nice staff on board and in the airport. Left on time."
Cons: "Small plane not alot of storage space. Can carry small bags on board."
Pros: "Easy to board and pass through customs on the way to Canada. Crew was nice. Overall a pretty average flight."
Cons: "Entertainment system was broken for my seat. Screen wouldn't work properly. This was a problem in every seat I sat in."
Pros: "They afford a civil and enhanced trip on an Express flight. Something AA and other airlines consistently fail to do."
Pros: "Boarding was smooth, considering there were just over two hundred passengers to manage. The crew was excellent: responsive, courteous and proactive. Entertainment: Overall plenty of options though some were dated. Food: surprisingly good, and COMPLIMENTARY. Didn't have to pay extra."
Cons: "Coach is CRAMPED. And on a 14-hour flight, that's important.."
Pros: "Crew were champs, plane was old but clean and comfortable enough, entertainment was fine. Missed my connection due to delays but was rebooked on a later flight before we landed."
Cons: "After zone 1/2 + priority had boarded, it was determined the aircraft's tires needed changing. Including the tire change and de-icing, we took off nearly an hour behind, and many people missed their connections. Feel like on a 6am first flight that fix could have happened the night before avoiding all the delays that ensued."
Cons: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."
Pros: "The plane was clean and fairly comfortable."
Cons: "Our flight from Toronto to Washington DC was delayed for no apparent reason. We were not told of this delay until 45 minutes after boarding time was supposed to begin. Good communication would have helped with this issue."
Pros: "The boarding went smooth. The seats are very comfortable and there was a lot of leg room. The food was delicious and the service was great. I loved the selection of movies."
Cons: "There was only one snack option and I couldn't eat it because it contained gluten."
Cons: "Flight was delayed. Announcement was made at the last minute. There wasn't enough space for carry-on luggage, mostly because the flight crew let people hog space leaving less for everybody else."
Pros: "Easy flight to DC."
Cons: "First time at Pearson Airport needed some help finding my way around the airport"
Pros: "The crew was professional and treated us with dignity. The flight was smooth"
Pros: "We didn't die, so that's a plus. Flight staff were nice and attentive"
Cons: "Seriously, no personal tv's. The ticket prices were already expensive, but an addition cost to rent an iPad? That's crazy! Also, your wifi on the plane isn't strong enough to download the app, forcing people to rent the iPads. I see what you're doing, air canada, and it sucks. Next trip to Europe will definitely not be with your airline!"
Pros: "Decent everywhere options, leg room, and seat comfort."
Cons: "Delays with no adequate explanation and very few updates. Boarding process was chaos."
Cons: "No personal tv on an international flight. The tickets were pretty expensive, I would have expected a personal tv instead of having to use my cell phone- especially with spotty wifi. Chairs weren't very comfortable and the food was so so."
Pros: "Movies on plane"
Cons: "Food not enough"
Pros: "Seats and crew in Premium Enonomy were great"
Cons: "Dinner was nice, but breakfast was lackluster at best - cold slice of banana bread was all we got after 6+ hours of flying! Also, I had a 60 minute layover in Toronto which is considered "legal", but I had to dash through the airport to make the flight and my luggage did not make it at all (and was not delivered to me until 38 hours after I landed in LHR). Would recommend NOT considering an hour ample time for a layover in Toronto going US to UK."
Cons: "I was supposed to be home on a Sunday. That I didn't arrive until the follow Tuesday should tell you something. My adventure included: 2 cancelled flights, one drastically oversold flight, being given a hotel room without a working toilet, hours spent waiting at the airport for information from gate agents who never showed up, and being curtly told that, as a passenger who didn't arrive on a connecting flight, on my second night I would not be given a hotel room, but instead a mat to sleep on in the airport. I did finally get a hotel room—this time with a working toilet"
Pros: "the crew was super nice. very friendly and caring. the entertainment was perfect. boarding was easy and timely."
Cons: "the seats offer little to no lumbar support. this was midigated a little with the pillow and blanket, it didnt really do much. for someone who has lower back issues, this was a big problem, a reason i am dreading my flight home. on top of that, it was my first time flying internationally, so i had no clue i had to hunt down my flight via flight time board."
Pros: "Once I actually got on the rebooked flight, everything went great."
Cons: "I get it, weather happens, but airlines should have figured out by now how to make any issues that come from that as painless as possible. Air Canada did not have it together. There was little communication and coordination. People had to wait multiple times in ungodly long lines while agents spent way too much time with each customer. There was misinformation and lack of information given by agents and at times no one to help at all. When there's weather it should be all hands on deck until the effected customers get to where they need to be. Otherwise it's an aggravating and nearly intolerable experience. Commercial airlines have been around for 60+ years - figure it out already."
Pros: "The crew was doing the best they could and was professional."
Cons: "Where to start, I have taken Air Canada 1 time before to Regina and you lost my luggage, luckily it was on the flight home. This time check in was very disorganized and unprofessional (I got scolded when my luggage bumped the post that forms the line that was set up after half the passengers were there making the last to show up first in line.) The flight was delayed and hour for a broken air mask upon departure . The monitor screens were hard to see and harder to hear. Upon arrival we sat for 30 minutes because they couldn't shut the engines down. Customs was a breeze but the walk from terminal to customize to the next terminal had me winded, luckily my connecting Air Canada flight was late also . And this was the better part of my experience. My flight to Athens was miserable ( lots of screaming children spread out through the plane). And when I thought it was over my luggage was separated and lost for 3 days. I should send you the underwear as a reminder of my experience"
Pros: "The pilots were EXTREMELY polite, informing us through the intercom why everything is delayed. SUPER flight through the rain!!! FANTASTIC PILOTS!"
Cons: "We were Stuck INSIDE the plane for an hour. If there is a delay either offer a refreshments or let us go back inside the air port and get a refreshments. The crew were unprofessional, i travel enough and this crew was the worst I have seen. On top they offered No hot beverages. Upon my request of a simple cup Of coffee the flight attendant said, NO, ask if I wanted a coke. It is great that he is giving me an alternative but he can simply appogize that he has not made any coffee and be sincere about it. TERRIBLE service all together. We all in the plane have appointments that now we are late to, crew showed no concern."
Cons: "Delayed flight from Toronto to washington"
Cons: "The flight from Toronto to Washington DC was delayed for more than 3 hours and there was not even a drink offered for the inconvenience."
Pros: "Quick boarding. Great with children."
Cons: "Multiple confusing security processes at airport. Huge lines. Flight delayed twice."
Pros: "The crew and their sincere attitude to be of help. Wonderful team of professionals."
Cons: "One hour delay, which was very tiring for someone who already had gone through the 9 hour flight torture from Athens. The Global Entry for US bound passengers procedure is very confusing. Maybe it would help if the steps were communicated on the US bound passengers before disembarking. First the passport process (easy) then there is this confusing process where we need to see our names in green on the screen, with some staff telling us to move on while others insist that we need to stay back and wait for our names to go green on screens that keep changing. Good idea and intentions to help clear bags, and can be improved. Overall the Montreal to DC flight (with the exception of the awful Montreal airport and the long delay) was excellent."
Pros: "Nice to be able to recharge mobile devices while seated."
Cons: "I made a round trip to Japan from Boston with Air Canada, flying out in mid-June and returning in the beginning of July, and I was rather disappointed to find that the choice of movies was more or less the same both ways, at least I did not see much change in new releases. I was expecting new movies to be added on my return flight from Japan since the month has changed from June to July but I did not find new movies, so I just read on my iPad. It would have also been nice if there was an option for inflight WiFi access."
Pros: "Everything was really good"
Pros: "Wonderful service while on board"
Cons: "Very little space to move for such a long flight."
Pros: "Staff was great."
Cons: "Seat size made sitting a suffering, as I am quite tall, and was unwilling to pay the extra $100 dollars, which I felt discriminatory (as I have no control over how tall I am)."
Pros: "Had the good fortune of an under-booked flight, allowing more space to spread out."
Cons: "Flight departed about 75 minutes behind schedule, but if that was necessary to ensure a safe flight, I'm fine with the delay. We still make our connection, thanks to prompt assistance at the airport."
Cons: "I arrived at the airport and attempted to check in at 11:17, 58 minutes before my flight was schedule to depart, having just rushed to the airport from my father's bedside in the hospital. I purchased a ticket on this flight because I absolutely needed to be back in New York City by 2:30 pm today - otherwise, I wouldn't have left. When I attempted to use the kiosk to check in, my booking reference number couldn't be found, despite repeated attempts. When I approached a customer service agent to check in manually, I was simply told that I could not - I was not offered any reason other than that I was "too late" and not offered any alternative. I asked to speak with a supervisor who attempted to clear me for check in seeing as I had no bags to check and have a Global Entry card, but was told by the agent that I spoke with that the flight was over booked and so there were now no longer any seats available. I asked to speak with the supervisor in person, and was told she was on her way, but 15 minutes later she was nowhere to be seen and time was ticking. While the first agent was completely unhelpful, and never offered to rebook me on another flight, another agent helped me by giving me a boarding pass for the next flight and told me she was putting me on standby for the flight I originally purchased the ticket for. I got to the gate in plenty of time to board my original flight, but was told that I wasn't on the standby list and there were simply no seats left on the flight - even though I purchased one which should have been held for me until 10 minutes before departure as is the policy for every other airline as far as I am aware. I am beyond frustrated that due to Air Canada's overbooking the airline used the excuse that I arrived 58 minutes before my flight to give the ticket I purchased away to someone else, with no consideration for me as a customer. The extremely poor customer service I received only added insult to injury. I am completely stumped as to how Air Canada could possibly be the only airline in North America with a 4 star rating when I have consistently experienced overbooking, flight cancellations, and abysmal customer service, including 30 minute wait times to speak to an agent, an inability to check in online for international travel, topped off by poor in flight service, when traveling Air Canada. I have never before complained but am doing so in this case because today's experience truly put me over the top when the airline's blatant disregard for my circumstances and needs as a customer and overbooking practices went beyond causing annoyance and inconvenience. I am therefore requesting a full refund of the ticket I purchased only to be bumped off the flight I paid for."
Pros: "Friendliness of flight attendant. Plane clean and newer than others I've flew on."
Cons: "Lack of more flights throughout the day. Also sometimes flights are late as there are crew changes or planes flown from other cities to Toronto to accommodate the flight. Making departures late to leave. In spite of this, I would still fly Air Canada."
Pros: "The sits were comfortable. More space between sits."
Pros: "Terrible, only one spot open, long lines. We missed boarding and were forced to wait 4 hours after already 10 hours travel. No help and no mercy at the custom area."
Cons: "Use all airport customs agent's desks after a large plane arrivals."
Pros: "Crew was pleasant and efficient. The entertainment consoles were nice, having games and movies and flight tracking."
Cons: "Not notified about long flight delay until 5 mins before scheduled boarding. Happened once with my flight and twice with my daughter's."
Pros: "Same as first flight."
Pros: "The checked baggage came through all the way from CTS-HND-YYZ-DCA. It was great I didn't have to pick them up even once. Thanks."

Cons: "Excellent experience"
Pros: "Gate agent friendly and on the ball!"
Cons: "Seats are torture"
Cons: "There should have been food for purchase."
Cons: "Able to choose own seats"
Pros: "Quick boarding. Nice crew. Newer clean plane."

Cons: "No delays"
Cons: "Crew was late. Delayed the flight by 45 minutes."
Pros: "Well we boarded and left early..."
Cons: "No free entertainment, kept us on the plane for 30 minutes before getting in to the gate, and left our luggage on a later flight."
Pros: "Old and thus soft and comfortable seats"
Cons: "Old plane overall"
Pros: "Service was nice & early."
Pros: "We seemed to fly faster to make up time"
Cons: "The seats are jokingly small and very uncomfortable. The boarding space was also small so the lines became very unorganized"
Cons: "Boarded the plane later to be asked to switched planes because of mechanical problems with the first one. After boarding the second 2 hour delayed plane my family and I were asked to step off the plane and go to the front desk because they made the mistake to give several people the same seats. It was horrible, and embarrassing. My family, friends and I will definitely won’t be flying eith United."
Pros: "Good service from crew. Fairly quick boarding process."
Cons: "Aircraft seemed fairly new on inside, but didn't have power outlets. Small uncomfortable seats on a long flight that is almost always full."
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "Your customer service sucks. Not sure if the agents know what they are doing as we are tossed from Delta airlines to United airlines"
Pros: "Availability of flights out of Chicago"
Cons: "Availability of flights out of Chicago"
Pros: "They fixed it quickly so I'm over it."
Pros: "Seemed like an older jet, so the seats felt larger and more comfortable than most newer aircraft these days. I was surprised they could land a 757 at DCA, but we did!"
Cons: "They lost one of our bags"
Pros: "United canceled my flightl"
Cons: "United canceled my flightl"
Cons: "Delayed because of mechanical problems and did not announce gate changes."
Cons: "It was very delayed"
Pros: "It was perfect flight by all means"
Cons: "This was horrible. There was a delay and there was no announcement in the terminal. If I had not been checking my email I would have had no idea. I kept getting emails from UA with different times and they were all wrong."
Pros: "Punctual departure, arrival ahead of schedule"
Cons: "The man in front of me thought it was obvious that he should enjoy 130% space, leaving me with 70%. I couldn't even read my magazine. I've paid full price for my seat. Slow service. Half an hour wait for baggage claim."
Pros: "Crew is nice"
Cons: "United app doesn't work on all my devices"
Cons: "Never got there canceled for weather."
Cons: "Crew did not communicate well with ground crew on maintenance issue, causing us to sit on plane for 2:20 hours."
Cons: "The boarding process was a bit chaotic. At the end i had no where to put the bag and i had to check it."

Pros: "Not impressed with United - they are just going down hill in evert aspect"
Cons: "Not impressed with United - they are just going down hill in evert aspect"

Cons: "Nothing in particular"
Cons: "Arrived at 1:30 AM"
Cons: "Seating on the plane for about 2 1/2 hours"
Cons: "Long waiting time to get luggafe"
Pros: "I did not like anything .We had four hours of delay. They did not even have the curtesy of giving us something to eat."
Cons: "At Chicago they charged me # 25(dollars) for my bag that weighed Twenty Five pounds. Why? When I left D.C. I had the same bag with me in the plane. When I asked the people at the United Counter no body could give an answer."
Cons: "Departure was delayed for five hours. Gate changes 4 different times to opposite sides of the terminal. Weren't told honest reason of the delay until two hours in. They boarded half of the plane and stopped when the pilots radioed in that there was a severe hydraulic fluid leak. Updates were supposed to happen every thirty minutes but more than three times they were longer than thirty minute intervals and at one point more than ninety minutes without an update. The representatives at the Chicago gate told us we were all set then the rest of the passengers boarded the plane. The pilot said they were waiting on maintenance paperwork to print off but then we waited an extra hour at the gate on board while we could still hear very loud tests of the hydraulic system. Once we finally left the gate and headed out on the runway for takeoff we stopped just before takeoff and the pilot said we were waiting on PAPERWORK AGAIN! This was another 30 minute delay and we finally took off. We were supposed to arrive home at 10:00pm and instead arrived at 3:00am..."
Pros: "Same....very possible experience"
Pros: "The staff for united were super helpful and accommodating. Made traveling with my pet super easy."
Cons: "Nothing. Everyone was acceptional!"
Pros: "Crew was very attentive."
Cons: "Was delayed almost half an hour."
Cons: "Prices to watch Tv"
Pros: "Flight crew was very friendly and helpful. Very unusual for a US airline. Thank you!"
Cons: "Not enough time between transit. Barely made the connecting flight. Boarding pass did not list which terminal I needed to go so when you hop in the train at O'hare, you are not exactly sure. O'hare is not well-organized. The 1 stop immigration/custom check actually was very slow. The regular check was very chaotic, with officers yelling info everywhere. Felt like I was in the market."
