  • What documents do I need to travel to Croatia?

You will need a passport valid for three months beyond your arrival date with one blank page for stamping. It’s also good to bring a second photo ID like an insurance card, military ID, or government document. You do not need a visa if you hold a US passport. Traveler’s insurance can come in handy, as some areas in Croatia are remote and only accept cash for medical services.

While there are no direct flights because of the lengthy trip, multiple one-stop flights depart daily. Most flights depart in the late afternoon and there are few morning flights. When planning your trip, look at return flights carefully, as many flights have shorter layover times that will get you home sooner.

  • Is there any place to sleep at the airport after I arrive in Zagreb?

If you have a long layover, you can sleep comfortably at the airport. On the first floor, there are comfortable deck chairs and wide-open spaces for relaxing. The airport has many restaurants and lounges, plus charging stations for your electronic devices. Lockers are available to store your items and keep them safe as you sleep.

  • What is the best airport to fly into if I’m attending a conference in Solin?

The closest airport to the city of Solin is Split Airport, which is approximately 10 miles away from the airport. It’s easiest if you hire a taxi or rent a car, but a Moneywise bus will also take you to Solin. Schedules are available at the airport.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from Los Angeles to Croatia?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from Los Angeles to Croatia.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket from Los Angeles to Croatia?

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from Los Angeles to Croatia?

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Los Angeles to Croatia?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying from Los Angeles to Croatia up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

Checkin was good, fllight ws good. Onlly complaint is lack of foot on 6 hour flight from Seattle to Boston. Snacks were flimsy - chips and cookies. could have offered something more substantial for such a long flight. I know you can buy food in airport but for the price you pay for a ticket, they should step up for the passengers.

Long story short, it was one of the better flight experiences I've had in some time when compared with other airlines.

While they turned off most cabin lights to allow people to sleep, I was bothered by how bright the side lights still were. It was still quite bright for me in a window seat, when I wish I could have slept!

Generally on time departures and arrivals, clean planes, sky miles membership provides great benefits (complimentary upgrades, etc).

N Everything was perfect from boarding to assistance to baggage in Tampa

Loved the crew! Sucks that we went from 1 hour and 8 minute layover to a 3 hour layover. But weather sucks like that.

Fast, lovely scenery, great info on the Delta flight screen about landmarks we were flying over. Great landing!

Long flight but comfortable and not freezing as I have experienced on Hawaiian flights to the islands. They gave us blankets just in case. Nice touch.

I took seat 15A in anticipation of window seat, there is no window.

Flight late, the waited for a long time for “personal” to arrive at gate to dock the plane in Rochester. So annoying. This flight was expected, why aren’t personel available for the jet bridge?

As always, it’s a pleasure to travel with KLM. It is one of my favorite airlines.

As per usual when you Hit the UK it's a slow process through customs Not as efficient at Thailand for sure

There were no charge points for phones on the economy seats. The seats were comfortable overall. Food was okay.. flight was on time

The crew were unprofessional with a racist element. I was physically abused as well from one of the crew members

Crew is not the cheerful type. very slow meal service (this is their style as have flown this many times)

Flight was on time, staff are friendly and helpful onboard.

Delay on my previous leg, had to run to catch my flight. But that happens. Overall ok.

Flight was ok but lack of communication cost me to literally beg to be put on another flight as connecting flight had departed

They forgot to serve food and the crew was very unfriendly. Never experienced such a bad KLM flight. Usually fly from Toronto. New York was different.

The immigration hall in Amsterdam was understaffed, so passport checking was slower than it should be for a major airport. They need to get the automatic readers up and running for non EU passport holders. Waiting in line after a long flight feels a bit abusive.

The crew was attentive. The food was delicious. The flight was smooth.

The preboarding and the gate organizing management was poor, unorganized and mismanaged. While standing in the business line I kept getting ignored and the personnel kept checking in others, right in front of me until I finally spoke up and pointed out their clear signs of ignoring me while patiently waiting to be checked in. Once checked in the gate the personnel kept chit-chatting and not managing which group is to board, being totally nonchalant, unorganized and behaving amateur-like . Very unprofessional and unlike the quality the Austrian Airlines brand otherwise provides. The crew on the plane are always fantastic and the best. What a shame the crew on the ground was so mediocre.

The layover period at Frankfurt of one hour and forty minutes was not enough time to clear the two-hour line at passport control: we missed the flight to San Francisco. Condor did a good job rebooking us that same day, but our bags ended up in Los Angeles.

This is truly the worst travel experience of my life. The UK ETA program had a technical failure, and I was stuck in limbo for 24 hours, unable to board my flight and unable to navigate anything in my itinerary. I had to rebook an entirely new flight and I’m now out doubled the money. Unconscionable.

OK, would prefer some meat for dinner, not just pasta although was tasty. There was only one dish, no choices

Flight delayed with no explanation. Boarding was confused (proceed to plane, go back to waiting area).

Boarding by bus - this is 2026! Luggage did not board the plane though we had over two hours between flights. After it was located it didn’t fly immediately but waited one or two flights until boarding to fly yo Belgrade.

It was a great experience. The aircraft is a bit dated but other than that it was great.

Last few years I didn't not have great experience with United Airlines.

The airport gate in Lyon was an insult to human dignity…. Shame kn the French authorities

Mediocre. Maybe due to Economy light. Staff was great. Space shrunk, not for me, and definitely not for Vikings. Food was decent. Assistance lagging. There was a possibility to upgrade to Premium economy, however my bid was immediately classified as low and not even considered (though well over minimum bid). Thus I was no bleeding dry.

Upon departing and landing, the man seating in front of me had his seat leaning back. Taking off nobody told him anything. Landing someone from the crew said something but the passenger ignored him and nobody followed up. Felt a bit unsecured. If this that is some of the basics are missed, what else was overlooked?

On time, reasonably comfortable for economy, decent food. All in all a very good experience.

Every flight got canceled or delayed. Customer service was awful.

They lost my luggage and can’t find it. My trip is ruined. Online tracking of lost luggage doesn’t work

No free Wi-Fi. I have SkyMiles but not a high status, having an account has been enough for Wi-Fi on other flights, but this one was going to charge me to use it. Also turbulence was really bad toward the end, but I didn't count this in my ratings since I know Delta cannot control the weather - it's 2026 and lack of WiFi alone is enough for a poor rating.

The stewardess was incredibly rude. The gave you only one drink with dinner.

Cancelled flight, wasn't refunded paid selected seats. Poor customer service. Called airline and they didn't realize the flight was cancelled until several hours after the email notice was sent.

The worst with the trip was the space in economy, my knees are still hurting. There was no way to control personal air by turning a knob above you, it was way to hot on both rides. During the night flight they allowed 2 people from across the aile which was narrow to sit and talk for 7 hours while also using tablets and the flashlight from their phones pointing into the row where I sat at times. They allowed people with way too large baggage to bring onboard. I paid way too much for the ticket ($1,364} for economy. Kayak misinformed me to get cancellation insurance that was only valid for a very short time (less than 12 hours) and was over one hundred dollars. Hotel booking was incorrect, I had the room booked myself at the hotel, only double or larger rooms available which I paid over 400 dollars for. I will never fly with SAS again unless there is no other alternative.

Crew members were excellent. The seat wasn’t the best as well as a food options.

Flight attendants were fine, seats a bit hard but I use a cushion for extra support. The only issue was it was a bit too cool and I needed to ask for and received and extra blanket. I survived!!!

Very few things and/or people are excellent. It was very good.

Food choices limited & not enticing Seats quite uncomfortable & difficult to control

Definitely get premium economy on a flight this long if you can. Your legs and while body will thank you.

Boarding was disorganized. The door to one to the toilets wouldn’t lock. The plane was shockingly cramped, and clearly used for domestic flights due to the menus for items to sell domestic travelers. United should be ashamed of its small seats, tiny unclean toilets, and money grubbing stance toward services, compared to Lufthansa, Emirates, and most international carriers United is awful.

Terrible. Lost our luggage for 4 days. Did not advise passengers there was a strike in Barcelona Airport and had zero personnel on hand at airport to advise passengers on where to go to file claims. We had to fend for ourselves. No assistance at all other than an online claims submission process that we had to find out about on our own.

Lufthansa cancelled our flight from Los Angeles to Naples Italy on March 10 for scheduled flight on March 12 Very stressful experience trying to arrange alternatives. Will never fly again with Lufthansa

Service and food were excellent. Incredibly friendly and competent staff. Flight was delayed over and hour and I had to run between terminals to get my connecting flight.

Late flight Delays Poor service Poor staff Worst airline ever

Lufthansa still has a good level of quality compared to US airlines, especially with respect to (1) food quality - actually tasty, (2) good French red wine - free, (3) good movie selection. Also my ticket price includes 1 free check-in luggage, while some other budget airlines sneak in an extra $150 for a checkin.
