Why on earth the flight attendants (otherwise great) didn’t make an announcement that there was no need to share a row and encourage people to spread out is beyond me. I mean this is the only flight I can remember in a decade that wasn’t nearly or fully booked, you’d think they’d emphasize that. Instead I got to be trapped like it was a full flight next to a guy with no concept of personal space."

Pros: "Sat in the Key West airport for five hours because of delays. Somehow the other airlines managed to get their people on and off the island. Although they say they can’t land in a 25 mph crosswind we were watching the weather. It mostly stayed below 20 mph for hours before departure"

VPS-ATL lead attendant was very sweet to a passenger in front of us who was on her first flight alone with her child to go to her fathers funeral in the Philippines. She also thanked a soldier for her service. Love these little touches."

We actually got back to SC pretty much on time but the confusion is aggravating and stressful when you're ready to get where you are going. Both times we got to SC when scheduled and Delta appears to think that makes everything fine. Not quite..."

Cons: "The flight crew and service on the plane was fine. My biggest complaint was at the baggage drop off at the airport, where there was quite a long line without any crew members assisting us. A five to ten minute wait is fine, but a fifteen minute wait, with only three crew members compared to the other airlines? By the time I dropped off my baggage, the other airlines were finished with their customers, and there was still quite a line behind me."

She had about half of the First Class cabin offended as soon as meals started getting served - I didn't see ANYONE around me that got what they asked for, and then when people stated the issue, she didn't respond very well. I tried to take things in stride (first world problems?) but it is a bummer to pay extra for the first class treatment and then to not have that great experience, especially on back to back 5ish hour flights."

Cons: "AA needs to standardize their WiFi. Sometimes it is boingo, GoGo, or Panasonic or something other. Each has a different way of logging in. It is way too complicated. Sometimes you can watch on the iPad in a browser, other times you need a flash player or the AA app. Have a common way of at least accessing the internet, otherwise it can take 10 minutes to log in if switching from a GoGo yo Panasonic service. It is just too difficult and buggy. I am glad I don’t actually pay for the internet."

Cons: "American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 2 hours, then moved to the next morning at 6am. Before we got to the hotel, the flight was pushed back to 8am. All for mechanical reasons. We've flown this route before, and have had an abnormally high number of mechanical issues. They seem to use older planes for these shorter flights, and it really shows. Technology could really help ease these situations. American's app does not allow you to look at rebooking options, so we had to stand in line for a solid 30 minutes to speak to an agent. Since it was the last flight of the night, there were only 3 agents there to help an entire plane's worth of people. Calling American didn't help. They couldn't help with hotel/food vouchers. These types of vouchers seem like something else that could be distributed through the app or electronically, eliminating the need to stand in line and grow increasingly frustrated. To add to the fun, the vouchers were not event enough to get a hot dog and drink for dinner, then a coffee and pastry for breakfast. Once we got the vouchers, trying to get to the hotel was a disaster. They had 1 van, so they could get about 10 people every 30 minutes. We just took and Uber, and were eating in the restaurant by the time others were still arriving from the shuttle. There was no one from American there to help coordinate with the hotel or shuttle. We were like blind sheep wandering around looking for the van. Finally, arrive for the flight the next day, and they start boarding about 10 minutes before the 8am takeoff time. So, of course, we were late getting off the ground. Then, when we arrived in Dallas, our gate was occupied by another plane, so we got to sit on an old plane for an extra 30 minutes until another gate opened up for us. Really, other than crashing, not much else could have gone wrong. Made American look completely incompetent...which is happening more the more we use them. Next time, I'll pay a higher fare to fly with Southwest."

The flight landed at least fifteen minutes early...but we didn't have a gate..and ended up departing the plane​approximately on time...but planeside checked baggage took almost thirty additional minutes to finally return to the plane full of waiting customers. Felt way too long....and the ground crew didn't seem to appreciate that most people had a connection..."

Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."
Cons: "I purchased a round trip ticket to Miami for my infant son and I to accompany my wife on her business trip. First off, there was a 2.5 hour delay. The flight was overbooked. The lady at the ticket counter would not switch my seat to be seated next to my wife and 4 month old infant. Luckily the gentleman beside her was willing to switch seats so that she could comfortably breast feed our son. My checked luggage was severely damaged. The side of the luggage was caved in and one wheel was completely ripped off while the other was partially damaged. A cart had to be rented in order to transport the broken suitcase through the airport to the rental car service area where we picked up our car. The infant car seat belonging to a $180 traveling system was damaged and is missing pieces that secure the broken canopy. We were rudely advised by a staff member to file a report as she pointed in the general directional of a line a mile long. We have been advised by the manufacturing company to discontinue the use of this car seat because it is no longer considered safe for the baby to travel in. Should we ever be involved in an accident, the car seat would likely fail to ensure the baby's safety due to the mishandling by American Airline employees. Unfortunately since the flight was ridiculously delayed and my son was ill, we were unable to file the report. My wife has since contacted American Airlines via telephone and intends to write them a formal written complaint."

Pros: "I had to pay $300 for my infant to write on my lap when we only paid $200 each for round tickets. I thought I had her on my ticket when I bought them but I didn't so by the time I put her on my ticket in my lap they charge me 10% of what the ticket was priced at then not whenever we purchase them. I thought that sneaky and not cool."

Cons: "i would not fly again if possible. My trip consisted of 3 flights, starting in Fort. Lauderdalento to Orlando, Orlando to Denver, and Dever to Aspen. However, The first flight operated by Silver (a partner of United) was delayed due to "maintenance". Due to this delay, we missed our connecting flights and had to get new flights, causing us to have an over night layover in Chicago and then arriving in Aspen Sunday, the next day of our original arrival day. I just want to add that I saw on the departure board that Silver had maybe 16 flights that morning/ afternoon and maybe 7-8 of those flights, including mine, were delay or canceled. Not to mention they never updated their board to reflect our flight was delayed. The only good comment I have was that the Silver attendent who helped us get a new flight was very helpful."

The lady at the counter made no attempt to get my luggage on my plane.. She told me with much indifference that it would go on the next flight to KW! I DOUBT THAT ID EVER USE SILVER AIR again!"

The man at the booth was very rude, telling us this was a curtosey and didn't have to rebook our flight. He also yelled at the passengers multiple times."

In Jan or so, Silver Airways arbitrarily decides to shorten our 5 day trip by a day and change our return flight to 6am, eliminating any activity on the final day. I called and said it was not acceptable. Their response was that they had the right to do it. No reason given. I know the flight was not cancelled. Assume they just resold my seat for a higher price. GOT A REFUND and flew BAHAMAS AIR."

Then, due to weather we were rerouted to Gainsville. They wouldn't let me get out, even though there was a more direct connection in Gainsville to DC than Miami. Instead I go back to Miami, and even though I make the connecting flight, they sold my seat to a standby customer. I didn't get home until 11:30pm. I was suppose to arrive home by 12pm. It was awful and the attendants were so unhelpful and rude that it was actually ridiculous. I complained to United and of course they won't do anything. I don't qualify for a refund because they switched me over to another airline for the final leg of the trip."

We eye told to go stand in a 10 hour customer service line if we wanted help only to find out no one could really help. This was a disgraceful way for frontier to handle a mass cancellation and I will never fly with then again. It was pathetic."
Cons: "We arrived at 9:30am for our 11:55 flight, and promptly spent the next hour and a half JUST in a massive line to drop off our bag, even though we'd already checked in online. Then, after we finally got to our gate, we saw that all the other flights for Frontier were starting to get delayed or canceled, so of course we got worried about ours, but despite frequent checks with the gate agent, we were told no no no, don't worry, our flight was still going forward. It got delayed, then delayed again. Finally, it got delayed to 6:18pm, but we were told a crew was flying in from Chicago, so not to worry, we would DEFINITELY be on the plane and out of there by 6:45 at the LATEST. 6:45 comes, 6:45 goes, and no crew. The pilot has been sitting outside the gate this whole time, and we see him go up and shake his head at the gate agent. They announce: the pilot has timed out, he can't fly us anymore, even if we DO get a flight crew. But they don't cancel it! Oh no, not yet. They still have two more hours to make us miserable, why would they cancel the flight? So we sit there as they tell us they might be able to get another pilot from another flight don't worry they're going to try. Meanwhile, we can't self-cancel our flight and get a refund because they've already loaded our bags onto the empty plane without a crew, and they won't get individual bags back, so those of us with a checked bag are trapped at the airport until this awful airline finally decides to let us go. Finally, at EIGHT PM, they do announce that our flight has been officially canceled, and what are we offered in compensation? A refund, or a ticket on a (fully booked!) flight on their airline two days later. No hotel vouchers, no tickets on any other airlines. Just a refund of a ticket you bought months ago so that you can buy an astronomically expensive ticket at the last minute on another airline, or a rebooked ticket on an overbooked plane in two days that will probably be canceled, too. We took the refund, rented a car with the money, and drove overnight to get home instead. Anything was better than being anywhere near Frontier Airlines for another minute. Avoid this toxic waste dump of an airline."

I was hit and then verbally abused by a gentlemen on the plane, they laughed and did nothing!!!!! 4. They only allow 15 bags on their plane! After 15, they will move your bags to a different plane without telling you. What kind of nonsense is that?!"

The seats are uncomfortable 4. No drink service during the flight. 5. Ended up paying 2/3 the cost of the original ticket in fees the day of my flight. 6. Our flight was delayed 30 minutes, but the front counter said Nothing about it being delayed or what time what time we were boarding, updates, etc. If I could rate them less than a star I would. Terrible experience and terrible company ideas. I will not ride when them again because I don't want them to think this is acceptable service from the airline business. I hope they go out of business soon."

And the flight was only 1 hour and 20 min long. The weather the airline can't help, but the other 2 problems seemed to be poor management by the company."
