Cons: "Boarding delayed, flew over an hour off course"

Cons: "I did not like the fact that I had to spend 8 hours in the airport waiting for the plane. It had nothing to do with the weather. It was mechanical at one airport and it was passenger problems on the plane going to New Orleans. I got a food voucher but it was because I asked for it. The least they could have done for The passengers without asking for it."

Cons: "JetBlue make me pay extra $20 for more leg space and early boarding and guarantee to find space in overhead bin for cary on. The leg space was good. The boarding was bad. Instead of early boarding I was about the last person to get on board. There was not enough room in the overhead for my cary on. The depart room at the airport was over crowded and for that reason extremely dangerous in case of fire ore some other disaster. People for different flights where in the same room and did not understand this which gave problems at the boarding pass counter control. There is lots of room for improvement. But I am most frustrated about promise JetBlue make about early boarding and not doing this. Thanks, Cornelis de Gier."

He was very rude, didn't help at lot guiding me where I can find it, but instead he said " You have to call back when you find it" I asked him that I couldn't find it and he almost yelled at me saying DID YOU GOT a RESERVATION OR NOT?. I never found the numeric code he asked for. So I called again and fortunately somebody else answer my call and she was a litTle more helpful and didn't made me waste my time with a numeric code. She asked me for the Trip ID # and I found it right away. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I LOST 700 DOLLARS. I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER PLAIN TICKET!!!!!"

There is NO organization to the boarding process, so in the free-for-all at boarding, people in any boarding group are let through with WAY MORE than 1 carry on and 1 personal item, leaving no room for my bag and I was in group 2 (not sure how many groups there are). Horrible disorganization at boarding. Board from back to front for goodness sake...its common sense."

Cons: "I purchased a round trip ticket to Miami for my infant son and I to accompany my wife on her business trip. First off, there was a 2.5 hour delay. The flight was overbooked. The lady at the ticket counter would not switch my seat to be seated next to my wife and 4 month old infant. Luckily the gentleman beside her was willing to switch seats so that she could comfortably breast feed our son. My checked luggage was severely damaged. The side of the luggage was caved in and one wheel was completely ripped off while the other was partially damaged. A cart had to be rented in order to transport the broken suitcase through the airport to the rental car service area where we picked up our car. The infant car seat belonging to a $180 traveling system was damaged and is missing pieces that secure the broken canopy. We were rudely advised by a staff member to file a report as she pointed in the general directional of a line a mile long. We have been advised by the manufacturing company to discontinue the use of this car seat because it is no longer considered safe for the baby to travel in. Should we ever be involved in an accident, the car seat would likely fail to ensure the baby's safety due to the mishandling by American Airline employees. Unfortunately since the flight was ridiculously delayed and my son was ill, we were unable to file the report. My wife has since contacted American Airlines via telephone and intends to write them a formal written complaint."

Cons: "For beginners, my fisrt flight on new years eve got delayed, and then it got canseled... in order to make it to new orleans i had to book a flight with American airline for a much greater price (frontier $50 AA $375) Frontier was only willing to cover another flight with them, which would not leave untill Tuesday (jan 2) and that meant i would miss out on my new years experience and also a lost of $250 on a non refundable reservations, after calling costumer service they were only willing to provide a 200 voucher to fly with Frontiers instead of refunding me the full amout on $375 for the AA ticket i had to buy... my other r flight from New Orleans got delayed 2 times and i got in the plane 4 hours later to a flight where they didnt even provide complimentary drinks like a soda or water, last but not least i am currently waiting for my flight back home and i received an email saying that it got cancelled but when i called costumer care and they said that the status is unconfirmed... but if so i will be loosing a day a work and prob have to book another flight that will probably cost me more money to which i am not certain that i will be compensated for"

Cons: "Showed up to the airport in New Orleans to find out my flight was canceled, but had to be told by people from another airline because the Frontier desk was vacant. Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE."

Cons: "My suitcase was 1 month old and in perfect condition when I arrived for my flight. When I picked it up two hours later, the main zipper had been mangled past the point of repair in such a way that once it was opened, it was impossible to zip it again. When I brought it to the attention of Frontier staff, they said that they don't offer any compensation for "just zippers." As if a suitcase is usable without a functioning zipper. They handed me a xeroxed slip with a phone number if I had a complaint - turns out it was the wrong number, and after waiting over a half hour without a person answering the phone it was crystal clear that Frontier doesn't care about repeat business."

She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. Cons: "No A/C on the plane while waiting to depart from the gate. When we landed, we sat on the plane for 25 minutes waiting for another plane to leave our gate. A passenger seated next to me asked if he could purchase a snack while we waited. The attendant told him that if it was not a medical emergency he was an adult and would survive."

Cons: "Didn't like baggage fees for carry-ons, didn't like paying for seats to ensure that my wife and I sat together because she has travel anxiety, didn't like having to pay for a ginger ale on the plane, didn't like small tray tables and the fact that the seats did not recline, didn't like that there was no entertainment on the flight (screens, music, charging capability for phone). I understand the appeal of "pay what services you want" as there were many services that we "needed", and because of that we certainly paid for them. In addition to our airfare, we paid $32 for seats, $160 for 2 carry-ons and 1 checked bag, and then $6 for 2 ginger ales to help settle our stomachs for the flight. It was very unexpected. Spirit did reimburse us $60 as a one-time courtesy because this was our first time flying with Spirit, and we did not know what to expect, but had we not complained, we would have gotten nothing."

Cons: "Our flight was canceled two times by Spirit, and we had to stay another day due to the fact that the airline has limited availability for rescheduling canceled flights. Once the third flight arrived, there was an issue boarding due to a beligerant passenger and the flight was over an hour late. However, the entire time the issue was being resolved, Spirit told the passengers waiting to board NOTHING. Everytime a question was asked about whether or not we would be leaving, the staff was rude and avoided answering. I will never fly Spirit again, as they truly do not care about their customers."

Pros: "I will never fly spirit again. I thought that I would be saving money, and yet I spent more on this budget flight, than I would with delta or American airlines. I was charged twice for carry on and check in, because I had to stop over in florida to transfer. So, on top of the flight costs, I paid an extra $110 for my luggage. I think being charged for carry on is ridiculous. The seats were super uncomfortable, there was no entertainment offered, and not even a soft drink was complimentary. Needless to say, I am not a fan!"

Cons: "The flight was drastically delayed, without appropriate notification. They offered no remedy without any option to arrive at my until 3 days later and this with me staying overnight at the Fort Lauderdale airport, to be on stand by for the flights on said third day. Their only other offer was to refund me the value of that 'first flight". It took two hours and 15 minutes of declining those offers and being very disrespectfully for them to offer a full refund (5 to 7 business days later). They offer no help with rebooking, so I had to purchase with another airline at full last minute price."

How can you charge for what all travelers must have?"

The customer service representatives were yelling at us at the airport about bags being too large when they clearly fit into the bins and had been used on previous Spirit flights. The water isn't free it's $4. Tea and coffee is $2. Snacks are $3 and up. Overall you're not saving. Oh and to pick your seats at all it's $9."

I PAID OVER $400 IN BAGGAGE FEES!!!"

Cons: "Everything else. The flight was late. You have to pay a lot extra for each bag. The A/C didn't work. The overhead cargo bins wouldn't stay closed. That caused another delay. They fixed it with duct tape. Never again with Spirit. It just wasn't worth the hassle, and the extra $105 I had to spend to get one bag there and back."
