Spain has reopened its borders to travelers from most EU and Schengen Area countries; however, entry remains restricted to travelers arriving from other areas, except for Spanish nationals and residents, and accompanying immediate family members.
Until February 2, Spain will not allow entry to inbound travelers that have been in the UK, with the exception of Spanish nationals and those legally resident in Spain.
As of July 22, travelers arriving from Montenegro and Serbia are no longer allowed to enter Spain.
For travelers arriving from outside the EU, only the following categories of travelers may enter:
•Habitual residents in the European Union, Schengen Associated States, Andorra, Monaco, The Vatican, or San Marino. •Holders of a long-term visa issued by a Schengen member of Schengen Associated State who are going to that country. •Health professionals coming to Spain for work. •Goods and transport personnel in the practice of their duties. •Diplomats, consular, international officials, military personnel, civil protection and members of humanitarian organizations in the practice of their duties. •Students who study in one of the EU/Schengen member states and possess the appropriate visa or equivalent permit and medical insurance. They may enter the country 15 days prior to the start of their studies. •Highly qualified workers, including participants in high-level sporting events that take place in Spain. •People traveling for duly accredited family reasons. •People traveling for duly accredited humanitarian reasons of reasons of force major. •Residents of Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, or Uruguay, provided that they have come directly from these countries or only made international transits at airports outside of these countries.
From November 23, all travelers (including children) arriving from Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, French Polynesia, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Palestinian Territory, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, St. Martin, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, UAE, UK, Ukraine and US, must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 TMA, LAMP or PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to arrival with the exception of travelers arriving from Azores in Portugal; Rogaland, More og Romsdal, Nordland, Viken, Innlandet, Vestfold og Telemark, Agder, Vestland, Trondelag or Troms og Finnmarkin in Norway; Kitri, Ionia Nisia, Dytiki Ellada or Sterea Ellada in Greece; Faroe Island or Greenland.
Spot checks may be carried out on arrival to confirm travelers have undergone a COVID-19 PCR, TMA or LAMP test and have tested negative. A minimum fine of €3000 may be issued to anyone who does not comply.
Spain has reopened its borders to travelers from the EU, the Schengen area, and the UK. Travelers arriving from the aforementioned areas are no longer required to present a residency certificate or to self-isolate upon entry into Spain; however they will need to complete an "FCS health control form" 48 hours before arrival at https://www.spth.gob.es/. A QR code generated from the completed form must be presented upon arrival.
Travelers will also undergo a temperature check and visual health assessment.
From November 14, travelers visiting the Canary Islands and are booked into regulated tourist accommodation must present a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours earlier, when checking in to their accommodation, download and activate the Radar COVID notification app throughout their stay on the islands, and for 15 days after they return home. Children under the age of 7 are exempt from these requirements.
Regional authorities in the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera) have introduced three stages of control for domestic arrivals by sea or air to the islands, in addition to those for international arrivals to Spain.
All tourists arriving from or via regions of Spain with a cumulative incidence of the virus of 150 cases per 100,000 inhabitants or greater must present a negative PCR or TMA carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival. A fine of up to € 3,000 is payable for anyone arriving without a valid test.
Those with a justified reason for travel must complete a declaration and an antigen test upon arrival at the airport or port or will have to undergo a 10-day quarantine.
Those resident in the Balearic islands must have a PCR at origin in the 72 hours prior to their arrival, or be tested on arrival or undergo a 10-day quarantine.
Travelers transiting Spain via a Spanish airport on route to their final destination, the above mentioned PCR, TMA or Lamp test requirement and Health Control Form to enter the country does not apply. They should however, be prepared to show evidence of their onward journey such as flight tickets to their final destination.
Restrictions introduced by Spain on passenger travel from the UK from December 22 until January 19 may also apply to those transiting through Spain to other international destinations.

I hope that my contract with webjet.com does not become frustrated because of British Airways interference. I was not even allowed to change my flight to come back at the end of September. It is very likely that British Airways has some part of the money paid to webjet.com. I am still waiting for British Airways to cooperate. I don't understand why webjet.com had to tell me British Airways initially reported my long wait and conversations with their agents for 2 hours as a no show. I can prove I was there and that I talked to their agents. I also have the email from webjet.com in which they told me British Airways was reporting it to the webjet.com as a no show (and they knew I had a contract with webjet.com)"

Despite purchasing my flight months prior, and arriving at the airport with plenty of time to to check in, I was told that I was going to be bumped from my flight because it was overbooked, which would mean that I would miss my international connection. After waiting for everyone else to board on a tiny flight, there suddenly was a seat available and they let me board, but they managed to not put my bag on the flight, which means I have no luggage. Lastly, despite checking in more than 7 hours ahead of time for the international flight, I was given a middle seat and was told that I would have to pay $40 if I wanted to switch to an aisle/window. The middle seat was cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for 8 hours (after 7 hours of connections and waiting in airports). UGH."

The crew were nice but one was very rude to a passenger snapping at him and all ignored a very drunk man on my flight as much as possible. This man was very disruptive for most of the flight singing, shaking seats, touching other passengers, and walking about the flight. I did not feel safe at all! The staff would tell him to sit down, walk away, and he would be instantly back up. Staff would see this and ignore. I had no idea what to do. I felt unsupported and unsafe. The flight had constant turbalence to go along with it. To the point that they canceled dinner. I wanted to kiss the ground when I got off the flight. This was absolutely miserable. I could not be more disappointed."

The plane itself was new, very clean, and very well kept. The crew was friendly and spoke a wide variety of languages, including English, French, and of course Spanish. They had no issue with Latin American Spanish or European Spanish accents, which is a concern for some. Overall the flight got me to my destination on time, in one piece, and without breaking the bank."

There was subpar entertainment options that hadn’t been updated since at least the 90s, which was made even less acceptable since it was literally the only option for entertainment on a 7+ hour flight when none of the overhead lights worked. Cons: "The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good."

However, after waiting on line when I got to the counter the attendant informed me that the flight was operated by American Airlines and I had to go to terminal 8. I ran to terminal 8 but by the time I got to the check in it was 6:15 and they said they said the check-in for the flight at 7(which was actually at 6:55pm) was closed for check-in. I was lucky enough that there was another Iberia flight (this one from terminal 7) st 8:30pm and the supervisor was able to find me a spot in that flight."

The crew members were not friendly, the airplane was so old, my daughter called "the dinosaur" is the airplanes from the 70"s . This was my first time flying with this airline and I don't think Ill do it again. We were going to a wedding in Madrid and we miss it for the delayed."

We could not obtain good information on whether they were lost or mis-routed. The worry of whether we should buys clothes, toiletries, etc. was a daily concern. Way to ruin a customer's vacation."

But no way to charge your phone with out a car charger. This plane had no AC ports."

United also had problems with their entertainment system so for an 8 hour long flight, there was much room for improvement."

Cons: "United airlines employee Mearle at the check in counter was extremely disrespectful, Rude, and arrogant towards everyone in line at the counter Trying to check in. Many customers including us waitted in the check in line for 35 minutes or more while Mearle proceeded to chat on her cell phone (personal call), and taking a break leaning the check in counter while everyone waited on her so she could assist with check in. Finally the passengers in front of us voice their concern to mearle stating that everyone is going to miss theirs flights if she didn't assist us all right away. Mearle responded by snapping back by saying "it's not my fault that united keep us understaffed and pay us enough to care " then laughed and walked away again. At this point we realized that if we did not get immediate assistance, that we would surly miss our flight. I walked in front of the line on behalf of everyone standing in line and reiterated to Mearle in a firm tone that she insisting check in the remaining 12 passengers immediately. Mearle snapped back telling me to "worry about my own self and don't tell me how to do my own job". Feeling very stressed out And worried about missing my flight went and stood back in line again. A few moments later I over heard Mearle tell the passengers ahead of us " you're too late. You've missed your flight" these passengers became very upset with Mearle telling her that she's the reason they missed the flight and Mearle laughed and said out loud to everyone else in line.. "you all missed your flight. You all should be more responsible next time and get here earlier" and then Mearle walked away never to be see again. Many of us missed our flight which caused many of us to also miss our connecting flights. We immediately called the 800 number and filed a complaint. Then we were forced to drive three hours in traffic to LAX where we caught a later flight and barely made it to our destination in time for our work event. We swore that because of Mearle and her disgusting behavior that we will never ever fly united again (and I fly a lot for my job) and since that horrible experience with Mearle two months ago, I've flown on four trips spending over $2300 dollars and every flight has been booked through American Airlines. Do to Mearle's bad attitude, disrespectful personality, and poor representation of united we will never do business with united again. We suggest united airlines remove Mearle from Having any contact with the general public as we are sure that Mearle is loosing customers for united at a very rapid pace."

Second the food was especially disgusting. The chicken was in this white sauce that looked like discharge and if taste like rubber. The bread was hard to bite into. Everything was so stale and tasted so bad I wondered how long they had that food sitting there. My last trip to Europe I flew Swiss air to Italy they had the best customer service and the food didn't taste like I was eating cardboard in jail. I am never flying united airlines to Europe again. It is too long of a trip for subpar service."

The effort required to input and process this data had better be rewarding for the state population and not another State 'make-work' chokehold on the travel industry. I realize the danger of invasive species in the state but does it really require a Completed form for Every passenger on Every flight to make a difference? Airline employees took their task Very seriously, BTW. Why?"
