Pros: "Nice crew!"
Cons: "Flight delayed"
Pros: "Honestly. Nothing."
Cons: "Internet was down and no entertainment on a transcontinental flight. That’s absurd. Overhead luggage packing was not regulated so made intentionally difficult. Assignment of bags to be checked should be based on size not who is last. Grossly disappointed with service"
Cons: "I missed this connecting flight."
Cons: "The cliff notes of this debacle are, inbound flight arrived late to Montreal, I contacted AA social media team to make sure they could notify the gate of my connecting flight, they didn’t after they said they did. Flight arrived in Chicago a little early, I have to wait 15 min for my bags from the valet, I run to the next gate and arrive with 13 min to spare, the gate agent (not nice) goes I’m sorry we already closed the door. I’m like, huh? Then he has the gall to tell me, “well had someone called us we could of held your seat”. That’s when I lost it. Needless to say I’m now flying to Dayton and back to Dallas. That’s in lieu of a 3:50 PM flight TOMORROW!"
Pros: "Flight on time"
Cons: "Service, quality of food, availability of food choices"
Cons: "Two hour delay out of Denver, no crew."
Cons: "Snacks, non usable Wi-Fi"
Cons: "Delayed due to no available gate attendant. Limited ground crew."
Pros: "Entire flight crew was friendly and helpful!"
Cons: "Delay was too long - thanks. The weather was cleared but still delay for no reason."
Pros: "It was an early flight and it was very quick I experienced some difficulty during the flight with hypoglycemia, the male flight attendant was not as attentive to my needs as the lady was who recognized the potential disaster that could have occurred and aided me while following up at the end of the flight."
Cons: "Uncomfortable, no food or drinks were served, no entertainment for the duration of the flight."
Pros: "Comfort and crew"
Pros: "Boarding at LAX went smoothly. A321 was clean and as comfortable as Main Cabin can be. Entire crew was excellent throughout the flight. I was pleasantly surprised."
Cons: "Everything was great"
Cons: "Had to wait 4 hours inside a tiny plane while taxing in DCA before taking off. Crew offered water just once during this 4 hr delay inside a plane. The flight was supposed to be 45 min so most of the passengers weren't prepared for it. Terrible. Most of the people on the plane lost their connections."
Cons: "No baggage controls from seat 18 to 28 no bags would fit. As we exited all the front rows we're waiting to get there bags stored in back of planes overhead bins. That's just not right, especially when they charge us extra to take a bag for overhead bins storage."
Cons: "They should have someone packing your duty free if they are going to make you check it. My duty free expensive wine broke and I am not too happy. After 2 long flights, time change, and minimal materials to work with I have to box and check my duty free in. Not co"
Pros: "Great service. And flight and food"
Pros: "(mostly) friendly staff, decent chairs, decent set of movies available. (First leg by American, second leg by British Airway)"
Cons: "Paid for seats, never got them, ended up in a cramped flight with no room (I'm only 5'5", so heaven forbid average height people try to sit here. My wife was miserable, and got a back ache because of the small quarters."
Pros: "I am happy to have made it to my final destination."
Cons: "This was a disappointing experience to say the very least. The boarding process in Quito was chaotic to say the least. The AA staff did not make an effort to maintain any kind of order. My husband and I are both enrolled in the AA frequent flyer program and had at least 6 people cut in front of us while on-line. When we finally approached the AA representative, Dayana Gómez, She was rude and not helpful. Our seats on the UIO-Dallas flight did not even recline. We sat completely upright for the duration of the 6 hour overnight night flight into Dallas."
Pros: "I booked a codeshare ticket through Alaska Airlines reward program. I was worried I'd be shafted when it came to seats. Not so. I had the row to myself on both flights and just 2 rows shy of first class! Very impressed."
Pros: "(1) The flight was overbooked and boarded late. (2) The crew and flight attendants flying to NY had more baggage space than the passengers. (3) The pilot and crew were excellent and I enjoyed my overall flight."
Cons: "Stop overbooking the plan. I don't mind paying more"
Pros: "This leg from PHX to TUC, the AA staff did GREAT. They held the last flight for about 10 of us (the last one of the night). Were pleasant and professional."
Cons: "Was very stuffy and hot. Plane never cooled down."
Pros: "There were no seats available together so we were upgraded to the extra room seats so that we could all sit together. As a mother flying by herself with 2 children, one of whom is on the Austin spectrum this gesture of being able to keep us together meant so much to all 3 of us. Thank you"
Pros: "I like the movie selection"
Cons: "The landing was horrible like slamming on the brakes in traffic. Also when I bought the ticket from Alaska Airlibes on kayak I had bought it at a higher price specifically for that. There was an American Airlines ticket that was cheaper but I opted to pay more because I thought I was flying on Alaska not American. I was very disappointed to see that I was actually flying on American once I was pro ting my ticket and after purchase and "no refund" message. I was very upset about that!"
Pros: "Great having plugs, nice seats"
Cons: "First leg of flight did not have personal TVs, so limited selection of entertainment"
Pros: "Loved the comfort of the plane. There was generous seat space especially when reclined in the main cabin. Personal entertainment screens with abundance of options to choose. Flight crew was very pleasant and helpful. T"
Cons: "The flight was over an hour delayed in boarding and departure without any reasoning."
Cons: "was not allowed upgrade! I only tasted the food it was not eatable. I am 70 years old and id rater starve to death than eat that food and no food to buy!"
Pros: "What I enjoyed about this flight is that I eventually made it to Chicago."
Cons: "Flight was delayed several times - blamed on Chicago ATC. The food offered was not suitable for First Class - there was chicken and vegetarian option. The FA was rather slow in serving and clearing trays. She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."
Pros: "Fast flight"
Cons: "Pain in the neck to make sure seats are next to others in same booking!!!"
Pros: "Nice crew and on time."
Cons: "Very old American Airlines plane, food never as good as Iberia. Not enough room for carry on. Entertainment system from 1960's"
Pros: "Electrical outlets."
Cons: "Couldn't check in online"
Cons: "No entertainment at all for this cross country trip."
Pros: "Poor for BIG Airline like that chips chips"
Cons: "NOT GOOD the is 2 MUCH for CHIPS"
Cons: "Almost did NOT make it home to Salisbury airport. 3 hr layover in Philadelphia. Tried to obtain seat assignment 1 1/2 hrs prior to departure and was only told it was too soon and they would call my name. 5 minutes prior to boarding, checked again and told by another airport helper that the flight was OVERBOOKED and now I was on STANDBY. Purchased tickets over a month and a half ago. No problems getting to Orlando but to return to this- UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT OVERBOOK a flight!!!!!!!! People make plans, have to work the following day and face the chance of not making it home-POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! Thankfully 5 people did not show for the flight, should NOT gamble with that!!!!!!!"
Pros: "Very efficient boarding, comfortable coach seats, good crew"
Cons: "No food! except pretzels and sandwiches for purchase. I didn't purchase a sandwich but the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using onboard wifi, as well as 2 tv shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."
Cons: "bag got lost checking it at the gate in dtw, bag went to santa barbara, completely wrong airport. huge inconvenience"
Pros: "The flight was on time. It was serviced well by very friendly flight attendants. I enjoyed it very much."
Pros: "The rebooking services provided by Tawanna, who was very pleasant and helpful in a stressful time."
Cons: "Not getting home."
Pros: "The entertainment selection was nice"
Cons: "The plane rides were both extremely hot and uncomfortable. I was sweating profusely on both flights."
Pros: "The was late and my logged was late i lost my transportation to Fort Benning."
Cons: "The chairs are to closed to each other. America Airline like to change the bording gaited to much."
Cons: "Noisy, hard to sleep even with earplugs and eye shades. Unruly children."
