Cons: "The plane was very old. On my seat, the TV screen did not work. The cabin crew was lazy. Nobody paid any attention to the Attendant light by my seat."

The person on the phone said I had to talk to ticket agent to go standby on a flight to Munich and the ticket agent told me I had to call. I was caught in a loop and no one helped. Then when it became apparent I wasn't getting out that night I was informed that there were no hotel vouchers and I would have to find my own hotel! After searching for an hour for a hotel (all were sold out in Boston) I called a friend who lives outside of Boston. No one gave me a taxi voucher because it was not to a hotel. LUFTHANSA customer service is the WORST!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "There was not enough room for all the people’s cabin size luggage. They allowed people to get on board with big coats once they’re in the plain they take off the coats and place them up. Those coats take the same space as a small suitcase. I asked the fly attendants for assistance and they didn’t even pretend to care about the situation. I had to put my luggage under the seat for the entire flight, which ended up reducing the very reduced legroom. What this airline is trying to do is; to charge passengers twice for cabin size luggage. This has been my worst experiences with airlines. Lufthansa is definitely an airline to avoid."

Cons: "The flight left with a slight delay. As I boarded, I was issued a new seat in the middle, as opposed to the window seat I had selected. There was zero explanation for this change. When I approached the flight attendants about it, with a smile on my end, I was offered the equivalent of a shrug. As I gave up, I was also informed there was no more room in the overhead bins, so not only did I end up sitting in the middle (which I loathe), but also with my carry-on under my feet. I’ve always been a fan of Lufthansa, but I’m a little disappointed this time around."

So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family."

However the Phoenix to Eugene leg used Boingospot but there was no card in the seat pocket explaining what needed to be put in your browser to access the entertainment portal. There were only two flight attendants on the flight and, aside from the drink service, no one ever came to the back of the plane so I could ask the question. I could have used the call button but I think that should be saved for emergencies. I think the information on how to access the inflight entertainment should be in every seat pocket"

Of course, no flights back to US so I was stuck an extra day, completely messed up school and work. I THOUGHT I was booking with Iberia but it was a code share. The pilot was first to arrive and had no information but was engaging and joked with all the passengers just standing around. He was our only assurance that flight was still going. He had same attitude on the plane and seemed determined to get us home eventually."

Pros: "I had an episode of anxiety over very minor turbulence which I sometimes get and both ladies who happened to be on duty were very reassuring and sympathetic to me. I had my 6 year old daughter also on the plane who is not anxious at all, so I was able to speak to one of the staff in French so as not to transfer my anxiety to my daughter who doesn't understand French. This was great. Over half way through the flight they gave me some earphones and suggested I watch a movie. This helped so much."

While our flight was okay, the previous flight was overbooked and a number of transferring customers were bumped because their flight was late. I understand this is common practice, but the employees handled it VERY poorly, even yelling at the passengers when they voiced their dismay at what was going to be a very long layover after a very long international flight."

Cons: "I separated from my 2 daughters and husband because they did not allow me to pick seats or check in online. I was stuck in the seat immediately in front of the stinky bathroom in a seat that didn't recline, had no hdmi charging port and was pretty much continuously crowded by bathroom-goers. In fact, so many bathroom goers grabbed the seat in front of me that they touched my movie screen about 7-8 times, causing the menu to pop up and interrupt the movie. Otherwise, the food was gross and one of the flight attendants was very grumpy."
Pros: "Had a flight out of LGA to Toronto after arriving on the red eye from Cali! The staff is amongst the best in the industry and love flying them! Polished, professional and courteous! For the money we pay to fly and be spoken to as if we're second rate citizens is absured and unacceptable. However every time I fly them, I find their employees make the entire experience a pleasure to fly! Thank you to the leadership team for empowering your staff and execution."

The announcement of group 4 and 5 boarding sent the mob into a frenzy and they shoved their way in front of all of us group 3's knocking me down. The Air Canada staff did not assist nor did they do anything to regulate groups and ensure everyone's safety. I have never been more disappointed in an airline. Im fine now in case anyone cares."

Cons: "The flight was 2 hours late. It had apparently arrived late, and then they had mechanical problems. Air Canada gave me some inaccurate information which delayed me in Montreal and made me miss my connection to Toronto. Also, even though I specified to the flight attendant that I was connecting to Toronto before going to the US , they only gave me the US custom form even though you apparently need to fill the Canadian one even if you are just transiting through the country."

Cons: "Food awful, had to pay for food on the SFO to Toronto leg of journey. The food provided on Toronto to Glasgow journey was of poor quality and had to pay for a glass of wine, this is free when flying with BA. I did not even receive a bag of peanuts. I paid for extra leg room in an exit row thinking it was the same exit row as a BA plane.... The extra legroom I paid for was negligible, minimal difference noted."
Cons: "Worst flight ever. Had a technical difficulties 3 times in a row. Had to be cancelled and put on the next day and again same thing over and over. So missed all my connections. Cut short my vacation. Will never flight air Canada again."

Cons: "The flight attendants in first class honestly seemed overworked and had no time for anyone. A request for a mixed whiskey beverage brought a Diet Coke instead. The attendant didn't seem to care at all when the mistake was pointed out, nor did she fix it. Snacks and drinks were essentially flung at us with the care of throwing slop at farm animals. Which pretty much describes the quality of the meal."
Pros: "Food was actually pretty good and the staff did reasonably well even though most of the customers were clearly unhappy."
Cons: "A majority of flights run by Air Canada to the US were delayed. If this had been due to weather, fine, but at least our delay was caused by mechanical malfunction. Our flight was delayed for 5 hours due to multiple different mechanical issues including that the bathroom would not function during the entire flight, the wing flap had issues and the door would not seal correctly. The flight immediately preceding ours to Minneapolis was also delayed by over 4 hours. Surprisingly the flight before that also had a bathroom malfunction that prevented customers from using the bathroom. If this was the exception we could understand, but looking at the history of our flight, it's only on time 23% of the time. The poor customer service people must hate their lives. Something needs to change."
Pros: "Nice crew, complimentary drink during flight, I only brought carry-on bags so I didn't have to worry about tracking down any lost luggage, but I didn't hear about anyone else on my flight having a problem with their bags so eh."
Cons: "There isn't much space between rows on air canada planes. I'm only 5'6" and it felt a little too close for comfort"

Pros: "The ground crew were always nice and friendly. They worked hard to deal with delayed flight, missed connection, and tight alternate connection. Flight crew were also friendly and helpful."
Cons: "Four-hour flight delay released in one hour increments without announcement -gate displayed "on time departure" for the duration of the delay. Our hassles were compensated with meager meal vouchers given too late, There was no pre-boarding on our flight (just one big cattle call) which made boarding with child and gear extra awkward,"
Cons: "Are you kidding? Nine and a half hours scrunched up in a seat with virtually no leg room? My wife and I are 71 yrs. old, and this was no picnic. (My wife's ankles were all swollen from the ridiculousness of this "arrangement." Seniors should be warned that that flying on such airplanes is not advised.)"
