Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

I was willing to pay change fee for 1 layover instead of the 2 layovers on my original itinerary. They wanted to charge me $700 which was greater than my original ticket. So I flew on the original itinerary at started my travels @ 7am on Monday. Flight from Bogotá to Barranquilla w/Avianca airlines was great. In Barranquilla I had a 4 hr layover, checked in w/Copa agent and he said my bag was on plane. In Panama, there was a 1.5 hr layover so I assumed no issues getting my luggage to the correct connection. The flight from Panama was delayed by 40 mins w/no explanation. We just sat on plane. They only played one older movie, plane was old and they did 1 beverage service w/meal for a 5.5 hour flight. I finally arrived back to ORD @ 12:15 am Tuesday. I waited for my luggage in baggage claim for 35 mins. It doesn't arrive and I ask attendant, who brushes me off and says this is the claim for Copa. She disappears for 30-40 mins. I finally see her walking back into international baggage claim (over an hour has passed that I've been in baggage claim) and tell her my luggage did not arrive. She asks me for my claim ticket then proceeds to say "oh yes, I was informed your bag did not make it." I'm upset because it's 1:40am and she could have saved me an hour if she would have helped me when I first asked. I also am curious how an airline loses my bag twice."

Pros: "Boarding area at Medellin Airport is clean, roomy, comfortable, modern and bright. Boarding is very orderly. Flights are always on time with Copa, which makes them a very reliable carrier. Planes are modern, clean and well maintained. Copa offers free headphones, meal and drinks, which is very rare on short flights."

Also very much appreciated the in-flight meal and glass of wine (at no additional charge). The flight wasn't even close to being full so we had a full row to ourselves."

She half-heartedly tried and then told me it "didn't fit". By simply turning it on its side, I was able to easily make it fit, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to do so while also holding my baby! The flight attendant then commented that I couldn't have the child in a carrier during the flight (something I am well aware of!). She also neglected to offer us a snack later on. Overall, she was rude and inconsiderate and made a difficult trip more unpleasant."

Cons: "i decided to purchase a separate direct flight at a different time instead of changing my flight, only to be informed later when i tried to hop on the back end of my original flight, that they had canceled my ticket since i hadnt boarded on the front end of that flight. i had spoken to a customer service rep about my option before purchasing the extra ticket, and she did not mention that this would be an issue. then i had to pay extra to get back on my original flight."

I ASKED AN ATTENDANT WHY THIS WAS SO GIVEN WE WERE TOLD THE BINS WERE FILLED JUST AS WE BOARDING FROM THE DEPARTURE AREA. SHE WAS POLITE AND SAID SHE WASN'T SURE ABOUT WHO MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE TERMINAL BUT THAT IN ANY EVENT MY CARRY ON WOULD ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND IN VANCOUVER - IT DID BUT WITH MY BOOK FOOD SNACK WHICH i HAD INTENDED TO USE WHILE ON MY WAY TO CHI. Cons: "Kayak did not provide me with confirming email for flight in either direction and I missed my first flight to LA from Portland This is the second time I was not contacted via email from Kayak on flight reservations"

Pros: "The crew was nice and the area was clean."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that before boarding they offered to check peoples bags for free because so many people were trying to take ridiculous sized bags onto the plane. I always pay to check my bag . That process took for ever but we did still arrive on time."

Pros: "We stood in line forever to then be told the clerk couldn't ch we ck us in. When we tried the kiosk it didn’t work. Long story short we missed our flight due to their poor organization of the line and crowd."
Cons: "The confusion caused by lack of direction from the staff."

Pros: "Trip and treatment were ok... but tv is way expensive. Avianca offers you a wide range of movies and tv series for free."

Cons: "Seating next to the bathroom is gross"

Pros: "Friendly and polite! Crew."
Cons: "Middle seat. Space too small."

Pros: "Couldn't really figure out your Wi-Fi system so I just read a book"
Cons: "It's not really easy to set up your Wi-Fi system through the United app"

Pros: "It use to be, I could put up with the lack of comfort and services because the cost savings made it bearable. But thes days, the basic ticket costs are high and increasing despite ala Carter pricing. The flights are always full and the number of flights are down. Airline profits are at a peak yet very little is flowing back to improve the flying experience."

Cons: "No agent to check in when I arrived at airport. Only at gate. No advance check in or advance seating. Allowed passengers to have more than 2 bags. Flight was late. No help getting to next gate or holding aircraft. Absolutely uncomfortable sitting."

Pros: "That I got a refund, although that should be a given"
Cons: "Had to purchase new flight day of, as I was told of flight cancellation 5 hours before leaving to the airport. I then had to spend $500 on a new flight, and one of the connections refused to let me on the plane. Stil not home."

Cons: "they lost our luggage on the way back,Didn't make it to Portland. But it was brought to our house at 7:45. I think for 1600.00 for tickets you should provide pretzels. That would be great. Thanks"

Cons: "Canceled flight, booked me an impossible connection, put on stayby when I get the tickets months in advance. Offered no vouchers and made me fly out on a diffrent day. Hs aircraft delays on all flights"

Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Never flying United again. On my way to the airport in Portland I got a text from United that my flight to Newark had been cancelled and there was no way to fly me out of Portland to San Diego that day. My sister had to drive me to Boston so I could catch a flight to San Francisco, which took 6.5 hours because it flew over most of Canada for some reason AND had three babies that cried from start to finish. Oh and because I was a late addition, I had a middle seat. The second I turned my phone on after we landed I had another yet another text from United saying that my connection to San Diego had been delayed three hours and wouldn't take off until 11:15 pm."

Cons: "Tried to get assistance at the United desk where my gate was located at and they could not answer any of my questions and would not assist me or many others who had the same issues."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Payed to upgrade seat was not comfortable and person next to me kept moving onto my side. Flight was 2 hours late so I missed my connection and had a terrible time to find a flight home. United staff was not helpful and kept telling me to go somewhere else for help. No food was served only tiny packet of way too spicy pretzels. Sat on the runway for an hour. Flight crew said 15 min and it was much longer. Crew seemed to be really confused."

Pros: "They gave us free entertainment"
Cons: "We took two hours in taking off"

Pros: "Polite staff"

Pros: "Staff excellent"
Cons: "Passengers space is insanely small, staff work under restrictive conditions"

Cons: "Why does the crew giving the announcement have to either hell into the microphone or why does the speakers so loud it was deafing!"
