Cons: "We were delayed by 2 hours because of storms in Atlanta. The crew was awesome with updates but it made for a long day."

Timely boarding, actual help with finding seats making boarding efficient (not just hurrying you along), updates from the cockpit that you could hear and understand, multiple choices in snacks-one even a healthy option, staff that was friendly and interested in making it a good experience not one that seemed bothered they had to work."

Cons: "Took 20 min on the run way before deplaning at the gate. Luggage took 15 minutes to come. No entertainment."

Cons: "My flight was delayed, which would have caused me to miss my connecting flight. The customer service person was not at all helpful, and told me there were no other flights available on any airline until the next day. However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

Pros: "About 10-15 yrs ago I stopped transatlantic flights on Delta. It was a scruffy airline with uninterested cabin crew & not to talk of food etc. What a change! Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

Cons: "We left late, it was delayed then maintenance issues. Twice. Seating was very tight and uncomfortable, no movies or entertainment at all. U.S. flights are the worst. Even on short flights with aeromexico outside the U.S. you get movies and food. Zero stars for comfort, food and entertainment."

Cons: "Flight left late. When we landed the sky bridge was broken so we had to walk outside, which isn't a big deal but it took a while sitting on the runway for the stairs to come. Then we proceeded to baggage claim and waited a few minutes and one of our 2 bags was there. The crew member then said "that's everything. If you're missing bags come see us." Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to."

The delta crew was pleasant, but I sat at the terminal watching to see how quickly that plane would back out to depart.... it sat there for another 45 mins, while I sat there wishing I was on it. My later/original flight ended up being delayed multiple times (not due to weather) and given no explanation for why."

Cons: "These planes feel like they are made of Legos. They are absurdly tiny and uncomfortable (and I am a small woman). Hot and stinky when boarding and no room for you or your carry on luggage. The days of glamorous air travel seem very far away."

Cons: "My flight back home was cancelled without any notice and so we had to spend an extra night. The flight the next day went without a hitch, so it sort of made up for it."

Cons: "I was traveling alone with my tired, cranky 13 month old. I get that it's no fun for anyone, including me, to have a tired toddler on the flight! But from the moment we boarded the flight attendant was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for help putting a heavy bag in the overhead compartment. She half-heartedly tried and then told me it "didn't fit". By simply turning it on its side, I was able to easily make it fit, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to do so while also holding my baby! The flight attendant then commented that I couldn't have the child in a carrier during the flight (something I am well aware of!). She also neglected to offer us a snack later on. Overall, she was rude and inconsiderate and made a difficult trip more unpleasant."

Once pulling to the gate we waited another 15 minutes for someone to figure out the walkway and open the door tom the plane-- all with no communication from the crew."

Cons: "i decided to purchase a separate direct flight at a different time instead of changing my flight, only to be informed later when i tried to hop on the back end of my original flight, that they had canceled my ticket since i hadnt boarded on the front end of that flight. i had spoken to a customer service rep about my option before purchasing the extra ticket, and she did not mention that this would be an issue. then i had to pay extra to get back on my original flight."

The crew in Portland ME told me the gate person would have a hotel for me.... The baggage crew had to help me."

SO WE WERE TOLD TO SEND THEM DIRECTLY TO OUR FINAL DESTINATION. WHEN I BOARDED THE PLANE I COUNTED 7 OVERHEAD STORAGE BINS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO MY AISLE WHERE I WAS SEATED WERE NOT FILLED AND THERE WERE SEVERAL SUCH BINS ON MY SIDE OF THE AISLE (I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO COUNT THEM BEFORE I SAT DOWN). I ASKED AN ATTENDANT WHY THIS WAS SO GIVEN WE WERE TOLD THE BINS WERE FILLED JUST AS WE BOARDING FROM THE DEPARTURE AREA. SHE WAS POLITE AND SAID SHE WASN'T SURE ABOUT WHO MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE TERMINAL BUT THAT IN ANY EVENT MY CARRY ON WOULD ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND IN VANCOUVER - IT DID BUT WITH MY BOOK FOOD SNACK WHICH i HAD INTENDED TO USE WHILE ON MY WAY TO CHI. AND VAN."

United said it was a TSA thing while TSA said it was at the prerogative of the airline. Why did this happen? So much for TSA Pre or Global Access."

But thes days, the basic ticket costs are high and increasing despite ala Carter pricing. The flights are always full and the number of flights are down. Airline profits are at a peak yet very little is flowing back to improve the flying experience."

Cons: "No agent to check in when I arrived at airport. Only at gate. No advance check in or advance seating. Allowed passengers to have more than 2 bags. Flight was late. No help getting to next gate or holding aircraft. Absolutely uncomfortable sitting."

On my way to the airport in Portland I got a text from United that my flight to Newark had been cancelled and there was no way to fly me out of Portland to San Diego that day. My sister had to drive me to Boston so I could catch a flight to San Francisco, which took 6.5 hours because it flew over most of Canada for some reason AND had three babies that cried from start to finish. Oh and because I was a late addition, I had a middle seat. The second I turned my phone on after we landed I had another yet another text from United saying that my connection to San Diego had been delayed three hours and wouldn't take off until 11:15 pm."

Cons: "Tried to get assistance at the United desk where my gate was located at and they could not answer any of my questions and would not assist me or many others who had the same issues."

Cons: "Payed to upgrade seat was not comfortable and person next to me kept moving onto my side. Flight was 2 hours late so I missed my connection and had a terrible time to find a flight home. United staff was not helpful and kept telling me to go somewhere else for help. No food was served only tiny packet of way too spicy pretzels. Sat on the runway for an hour. Flight crew said 15 min and it was much longer. Crew seemed to be really confused."

Cons: "My flight was canceled. I was put on standby for a booked flight. Instead of working with me to actually get a flight they kept wanting to put me on standby for booked flights. After talking with four reps I finally was able to speak with someone who was willing to help. Due to the lack of customer service and 6 hours of searching for someone who was willing to put in some effort, I am not sure I will fly United in the future. I had 48 hrs with my family and spent 24hrs traveling/waiting for a solution."

Cons: "Well, my suitcase was placed in plastic bag because of tear, when arrived at final destination, bag was gone and missing things in my suitcase!!! Like a brand new $100 cell phone charging system"

Pros: "The crew was great, the prices fantastic and everything whet extremely well. We even arrived in Denver early. The flight crew did a great job of keeping turbulence down despite some conditions that were less than easy to navigate. For a no frills flight, this was fine."
Cons: "I miss the frills although they have them available all at a cost during and before the flight. If you need all the frills I would probably go to a more comfortable venue. If you bring your drink and snack and don't mind not choosing your seat, etc., this will work just fine."

Cons: "Everything. Rude personnel, flight delayed 5 hrs, minimal help from customer service. The worst possible experience to start a Disney vacation for my little daughter. Supposed to arrive in Orlando 8pm, arrived 2:15am."

Cons: "I never wound up using them. I had to buy another flight with another carrier. The clerk was nice though, if that means anything. I mean you get what you pay for I guess. I paid a lot offers to cancel. Never will book with a budget carrier again."

Cons: "delay . delay delay . a 9:30 am flight was delayed until 9 pm. I opted to cancel and get refund. person helping at check in desk left in middle of handling my request and said next person would be along soon to finish. Said I had been refunded but was in Q for receipt. I asked for my luggage and it took numerous trips to desk to ask where it was and finally 2 . 1/2 hour later I got my luggage but no receipt. It was chaos in departure terminal of people trying to rebook or refund"

Pros: "Crew seemed nice, plane appeared clean"
Cons: "Long delay to take off with no explanation, searts don’t recline, food and drink all cost additional, no options for entertainment on a 1.5 hr flt... seems like we pay the same amount for airfare, but get less in service."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues. No help was offered other than rebooking on a flight that didn’t get me to my destination until the next day and included an overnight stay at a hub airport with no hotel voucher. When told that was unacceptable I was handed a piece of paper listing two “Options” from Frontier. Both options involved going to a website and filling out forms. One for cancellation and $500 in travel vouchers which, after filling out the form and submitting returned with a message that the website was closed. Option 2 was to try to rebook which led to a dead end. I finally called Frontier directly and spent over 45 minutes getting everything straightened out. Now I have vouchers that have to be used by January 1, 2019."

Cons: "Flight attendants inattentive and forgetful."

Pros: "The crew on the plane were great."
Cons: "They were very busy and appeared to be boarding too many flights all within a short time frame. I waited in a line that I didn’t find out was “made up” until I got to the front. Ran all the way to my gate (73) and got there one minute before doors close to a woman on the phone who then left the desk without a word. Eventually I was made aware that nobody had boarded yet and they were running late- it just wasn’t posted and I didn’t receive and updates. Also they should offer complimentary snacks and not have to pay extra."

Pros: "AFlight was fast and crew was accomdating."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that I was padded down not once but twice at the age of 69 almost 70. Really did not know I was a threat to the airlines. I'm staying with my daughter at Ft.Bragg."

Pros: "The first"
Cons: "This flight was canceled at the last minute and all passengers were told they needed to find another flight because the airline didn’t have any to rebook them on. Passengers had to pay out of pocket for new flights. Frontier said they would reimburse but I haven’t seen anything yet."

Pros: "Not applicable."
Cons: "Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline."

Cons: "The flight was delayed theee times then cacncelled. Their only condolence was a $10 voucher to eat in the airport. Customer service was horrible. I literally cussed them out on their Facebook page."

Cons: "I did not like the seats. So not comfortable. It was very cold where I was sitting. Also did not like paying for my carry on. The plane seemed very old. Did not take turbulence well at all. Noisy, noisy plane."

Pros: "It was cancelled 3 hours before flight with no notice."

Cons: "First time flying with frontier, and last time flying with frontier. For some unexpected reason my flight was cancelled to Florida, needless to say it has the best weather in the country right now. I was on hold for 2 hours trying to get through to a customer service representative and no one answered. I did not get a comped hotel night and not even a meal! Worst airline I've had to deal with when it comes to customer service, will not be flying frontier again."

Cons: "Seating is extremely uncomfortable. They are fixed, leave little leg room (it is hard to retrieve things from the floor), and very, very firm. Overall it is the most cramped seating I've every encountered on an airline!"

Cons: "We waited on the tarmac in Denver for a gate from almost 45 minutes. We waited for 1.5 hours for our luggage to reach the baggage claim area."

Pros: "We arrived safely."
Cons: "Over 6 hours of delays - about 45 minutes in the plane waiting for a gate, the rest waiting for the flight to arrive. The worst part is not a single person offered any kind of explanation - no one in the airport and no one on the plane. When do you ever wait 5 1/2 hours for a meeting and receive no explanation for the delay? Inexcusable. Frontier will always be my very last resort from now on."

Pros: "Airplane crew were very pleasant."
Cons: "Having to pay to get a seat is a hidden fee. You claim to be cheap. But that quickly adds up the price. Additionally, one of our luggage was stolen and the other was mysteriously placed at the ticket counter instead of on the luggage belt. And the way my complaint was handled for the stolen luggage....I am not pleased."

Pros: "The plane is somewhat like the plane used for Spirit Airlines. The seats are stripped down and all the extras (irrelevant seat padding, magazines, etc) are thrown out. This makes the plane fly better imo. Also they made conscious effort to navigate around all the turbulence and heavy clouds on our way instead of running right through it. Flight was very smooth."
Cons: "You have to pay for everything. Carry-on, seat, food."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled (second flight in a week due to weather?), and Frontier was not accommodating to the 80 people that had just been displaced such as myself. Additionally, waiting 3 1/2 hours on a customer service line to see if they had any alternative flights. They didn't. Suffice to say that many of the passengers' plans were ruined since Frontier does not partner with other airliners to help during these kind of situations. Honestly, 1 star is too much."

Cons: "Ride was rough and my daughter go sick. My wife had to clean up the area and I had to take garbage and put it in the garbage can. Staff did not want to touch anything."

Pros: "The price."
Cons: "The seats are very close together, with little padding and tiny tray tables. Obviously they are going for volume here and not comfort. You get charged for all luggage, whether carry on or checked and many of the seats cost extra, and so do snacks."

Pros: "Crew was nice."
Cons: "Charges were added for checked bag and carry on bag on Frontier Airlines. The airfare rate was not satisfactory once you add on the additional fees for baggage. We changed gates at Denver airport 3 times. Flight #156 was supposed to leave Denver to Des Moines at 445 pm and we boarded the plane at approximately 615 pm and were on the plane on the ground for 2 hours and 15 minutes. That is too long to sit on a plane; there were microburst winds in Denver and then they lost our manifest also. We arrived at our destination in Des Moines about 4 hours later than scheduled. I will not recommend Frontier Airlines to other people."

Pros: "The crew was fine. Not good enough to make up for everything else. I mainly just felt bad they had to work for such a cruddy airline."
Cons: "They overbooked the flight and told me I might not get on even though I arrived on time and the flight was delayed an hour and a half. So I spent about an hour pacing in the airport not sure whether or not I was going to make my family reunion. Once I finally got on the plane (but for the grace of God) the seats were uncomfortable and there was no entertainment and no complimentary food or drink."

Pros: "nice and clean plane."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours on the way out and the return was on time but the departure gate was changed and the terminal information AIRPORT-WIDE was not updated to include the sign at the gate. The lady did not announce the change and 3 of us missed our flight. The choice was to wait until Wednesday or purchase tickets from another airline. $1000 later we were on our way without an apology. I will never fly Frontier again. You get what you pay for."

Pros: "-The staff was very generous on the flight when needing beverages. -Frontier gave me a $100 travel voucher"
Cons: "That we had a 4+ hour delay"

Cons: "Flight got cancelled, the trip I planned 2 months in advance and they said they couldn't fly me out till Monday and it was Wednesday, Frontier sucks"

Cons: "It waa cancelled"

Pros: "I'd never flown frontier until this flight. I was very satisfied, with the exception being the lack of entertainment. I scored low because there wasn't any. That doesn't mean I was unhappy, as it was a three hour flight, and I'm perfectly capable of being screen free for a few hours. There was ample leg room, and the flight attendant staff was not only friendly, but funny and individual. One was even cracking jokes, which I loved. It keeps the stress of traveling off my mind. Additionally, the flight was fairly smooth, free of turbulence, and early arriving. I'll be flying frontier again for sure."
Cons: "The cheap flight price was coupled with a charge for carry-on luggage. I didn't know about this, so I was a bit put off."
