Cons: They were good but not overly service oriented.
Pros: Fast check out at Kennedy’s immigration. JetBlue’s traditional friendly approach to flying.
Cons: AILA continues to be a mess. I don’t blame JetBlue. DR is a hard place for business
Pros: Is amazing
Cons: I like to flights is great
Pros: On time and smooth travel
Cons: Nothing that I can think of
Pros: Being spaced out from other people flying
Cons: Return the vegan options to Jetblue
Cons: Snacks are terrible now. Cheez Its & cookies? C’mon. I’m not 5.
Pros: Crew was so great
Pros: The crew was great! Excellent service!
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Crew was very friendly, on-boarding was easy and fast, everything was clean, and there were nice touches like a sleep mask and ear plugs on every seat.
Cons: The leg room was better than in other flights, but that's not saying much and the seats were very uncomfortable and for such a long flight, it was deeply uncomfortable overall. My knee joints still hurt two days later.
Cons: The flight was delayed several hours because of weather. And it was very turbulent, so I had a very hard time. I was very nauseas. Very difficult flight.
Cons: Very small aircraft quite uncomfortable seating
Cons: I really love flying Jet Blue. I don't mean to criticize, the following is written in an effort for improvement: The hour-long delay and the long wait time on the runway. A passenger got up to use the bathroom right before we were going to take off - we had to wait for her. Another passenger pressed the flight attendant call button right after lift-off. All of the food for purchase was sold out by the time it got to the back of the plane. And I could be wrong, but I don't remember going through safety instructions because we were waiting for a while and then had to hurry when we got clearance from air traffic control.
Cons: Flight was delayed over 2 hours
Pros: We got in ahead of schedule.
Cons: The staff seemed tired and overworked. I got hit in the head by a flight attendant with the snack tray. An accident but still. Once we landed and we’re at the gate it took almost 40 min to get off the plane. That was ridiculous. Then after the long walk to baggage, luggage was still not there. Again we waited. Too much waiting after a long flight. I fly to NYC all the time and I’m usually in the city one hour after I land and it took 2 hours 15 min to get to Queens. Usually I have great flights with JetBlue. Last night was not the case. You get a C.
Cons: How come none of your entertainment systems work? Also - not the day to train new personnel when you are behind. That was irresponsible and more stressful than it ever needed to be. It is completely Jet Blue's fault if people missed their connection due to your inefficiency.
Pros: Extra space seats. The crew. The food. The landing! Pre-board bag check at gate - asking for volunteers.
Cons: The cabin temp was too cold. The entertainment was awful.
Pros: I flew from PWM to JFK,then JFK to RDU. Both flights left on time, and landed early, which was good for me,as I had less than an hour to make the connecting flight to RDU. Tke gate I arrived at was only 2 gates from the departure gate. I LOVE JetBlue, and was not disappointed this time either!
Cons: The flight attendant on the plane @ PWM never even looked up as I was wheeled to the door of the plane, even when I was struggling to get out of the w/c.The attendant with me had to try to assist me while holding on to the chair. I was not impressed. Other than that, the service was good.
Pros: Crew attitude was totally professional
Cons: 2 1/2 hour delay. Old fleet’s falling apart.
Pros: average flight. Friendly crew.
Cons: There is no online check in! Kayak sells multi-airline flights with airlines from different alliances and that does not allow you to check in online. We got to airport at 3:45 am- no one at the check in counter, employees finally arrived at 4 am, checked in, but then we don’t have seats asssigned! We get to the gate and wait-wait-wait until almost 5am and finally the employees were able to find someone willing to move so that myself and kids don’t get seats in emergency exit row. Nuts. Very unpleasant(not the employees, those were nice-it’s the check in and seat assignment policies).
Pros: Nice Portland ground crew and flight crew. Good pilot got us thru thunderstorms smoothly.
Cons: Almost 6 hour delay. 830pm arrival became 2am arrival instead.
Pros: Staff, frequent snacks,
Pros: The aircraft was clean and comfortable and everything went official
Cons: The film did not work
Cons: Notified flight was delayed over 2 hrs.. while at airport outside of screening an announcement that they are boarding our flight.this is an hour plus prior to the time on the board. When I realized that my boarding pass was no longer on my phone I had to go to get a pass. Male/ White older, was totally negative and not helpful except to tell me he could get me out the next day. Other workers picked up the ball and got me a pass and escorted me through tsa... then we sit on the plane for another half hr before leaving. Ridiculous!
Pros: Friendly and relaxed service, healthy and nourishing snacks, on time arrival and departure, great communication throughout. I love Jet Blue!
Cons: Everything was great!
Cons: Staggering number of delays ultimately canceling flight and rescheduling with another plane.
Pros: I wasn't notified of cancellation and needed to go with another carrier to get to my destination on time.
Cons: See above.
Pros: This flight was too short for either entertainment or food ... however the ease of making the JetBlue connection at jfk was great,
Cons: Fogged out of JFK had to refuel in Newark - OK - but no one refueled plan for 20min and I missed my connection.
Pros: Jet Blue was GREAT- as usual. I want you to know that getting through security in ATL airport was an ordeal. Incredibly long lines, disorganized (a sign clearly said, TSA Pre-check- line up here) and then the people managing the lines yelling at us (and this is an observation) because they wanted us lined up further back. This was baffling because the actual line into the TSA space was empty at that point. I think the ATL security staff could all benefit from some further training about to work with people effectively AND ATL airport needs to look at their systems. I know it's a busy airport, but there has to be something better than what they are doing now!
Pros: The flight and crew were totally fine. I slept the whole time.
Cons: There was not a single JetBlue employee at the Denver airport until exactly 2 hours before the flight. There were many passengers (upwards of 20 and many with small children) waiting around to check their bags and unable to access the food/bathroom/go through security. Everyone was confused and upset. While I understand that there are no flights for several hours prior to the late-night flight I was on, that does not mean that there is no need for an employee presence. Many people arrived multiple hours early because the most common destinations for Denver travelers are the mountain ski towns and the last departures of the shuttles that run from the mountains to the airport leave at 3:00pm. Therefore a large number of passengers arrive by 6:00pm for midnight flights and are left waiting in the check-in area until 10:00pm. The situation was made worse by the poor communication--there were signs saying that checkin was open only from 8:00am-11:00am, which left everyone very confused, given that we were on evening flights. There were many angry people sitting on the floor around the JetBlue counter.
Pros: Ek 202
Cons: The flight was cancelled 4hrs after being boarded at JFK. We understand that such things happen. It’s the situation and handling after was very unprofessional. we were told to collect our bags and go to check in counter and collect our next bookings but instead after collecting check ins we were just given meal ticket and hotel address and given a toll free number to call which is very inappropriate. It should become your responsibility to rebook ya but not leaving it on us to call some number and wait. Though I called and I was told that I was not deboarded to rebook me. For which I tried to go and find an Emirates personnel who refused to talk to the Emirates guy on phone to explain and would just refuse to talk to me. Imagine yourself carrying two check ins and a carry one and running around just to try to get somebody to answer. Mr. Munit on phone was kind enough to be on talk and hold for about 40mins with me. It still ended up unable to book at that time. I was going to India for two day period and my one day had to be spent over in JFK. As humans it’s not the technical difficulty that was an issues it’s the Emirates crews at jfk inability to properly respond and answer arrogantly was the issue. One person instead of answering the questions of an old man was very rude and just blubbered “can’t you just listen to me” that was very inappropriate. It should be her responsibility to listen first. I have always flew Emirates and inflight crew are always very patient and good. This experience makes me think otherwise.
Pros: I like only 1 thing wi - fi is working good.
Cons: I don’t like anything. It’s a worse airline ever i take I would like to suggest never ever fly with jet blue . I go through so many problems so rude employees working at help desk . Especially steven he said he is supervisor then he says he is only shift leader instead of helping he just talking so mean guy . This is really a big story i try to put in small words ...i fly with them on march 2nd LAX to JFK my finale destination is amritsar in India because of their fault i miss my next flight . The lady help me in morning she is very mean i wanna talk to supervisor she say I’m supervisor but she is only shift leader.i forgot her name . When steven told me he is supervisor i was like
Cons: When I scanned my boarding pass the Jetblue staff member told me my carry on was too big and had to be checked. This was puzzling to me because I travel often and do not have a problem with that bag. As I was sitting on the plane I saw everyone's bag's were bigger especially the man next to me. His was significantly larger and he had a large duffle bag between his legs causing him to manspread into my area. and yet i was told "make sure your purse is under the seat" seriously?! What about his giant duffle bag and huge carry on roller?!
Pros: The place took off on time, arrived early even with deicing. It was a really nice ride.
Cons: Our flight was delayed making it so I and several others had less than 4 minutes to catch our next flight. The flight attendants wouldn’t help us at all. Instead of having us come to the front of the plane to exit first we had to ask the rest of the passengers if they didn’t mind letting us through to catch our flight. I have severe psoriatic arthritis and I had to sprint to my next gate that had been changed making it much farther away from our arrival gate. Now I get to spend my vacation in pain trying to recover.
Pros: This flight was delayed when we were on the runway due to air traffic control. They estimated it could take an hour or more to take off. I told the flight attendants that I had a connecting flight in NY and they both helped look to see if there was a later flight I could get on, if we didnt make it in time. When they determined my connecting flight was the last one going out of NY that night, I asked if I could possibly de-plane if we were going to take off more than an hour late since I would surely miss my flight and and I would rather go home and sleep in my own bed than get a hotel in NY. They were genuinely and sincerely interested in helping me, so they spoke with the captain and updated the passengers since some other people had the same issue. The capain surprisingly agreed to roll back to the jetway to me off if we were going to be delayed passed the time for connection. Thirty minutes later, we were in the air and I made my connecting flight. The flight attendant even gave me earbuds to watch TV free of charge!!!! What an absolutely amazing flight crew!!!!!
Pros: The one thing I liked was the expedited service I got because my brother needed a wheelchair. The comfort of the plane was really nice as well, one of the best flights I had in a while.
Cons: What I didn’t like was how my flight got cancelled and the only flight I was able to get was 4 days later. So I was stuck in the Dominican Republic for a total of two weeks!! I had to miss another weekend at work which made me lose a lot of money since I’m a barber and lost some one my clientele. On top of my flight being cancelled it also got delayed again but only by 30 minutes so I wasn’t so upset. When it came to the boarding, that had to be the slowest boarding I’ve went through. The gate seemed very behind on the technology and that caused the workers to work even slower. At times they had to step away and go on their monitor to fix something out so it took an extra 30 minutes before I even got into my seat, and I was sitting in row 6 of the plane. Then after everyone was seated the flight got held back an extra half hour because a lady wanted to file a complaint saying that she got pushed and ended up being the only person that got kicked off the flight so she did it all for nothing. So with everything happening, our flight got delayed an hour and a half. Very disappointed..
Cons: Let me preface this by saying that prior to this experience I generally though highly of JetBlue. To change my opinion of them, JetBlue had to monumentally screw up, which they did. This was the worst experience I have had on any airline, ever. Why I am mad: - I had a 4.5 hour delay due to maintenance that caused me to miss a flight to India. The 4.5 delay was on a 50 minute flight from Portland, ME to JFK. I nearly could have driven faster than JetBlue got me to New York. - Because of my missed flight to India, I missed day 1 of a two day wedding of which I am a wedding party member - In order to get to India in time for day 2, I had to book a new flight on a different airline for an additional $1000, on top of what I paid for my original flight to India - I was originally told by JetBlue in Portland, ME that they would offer me a reimbursement for the Portland flight, a hotel in NYC, and a travel credit for the trouble. While not totally satisfying since I was still going to miss a day of the wedding, I thought this to be a fair enough offer. - However, at the JetBlue desk in JFK, they completely reversed course. I was told that all they could offer me $100 travel credit. No reimbursement for Portland flight. No compensation for the extra $1,000 flight I had to book. And best of all, no hotel in New York, I was stranded at JFK for the night. I spoke with a supervisor at the desk who repeatadely told me that JetBlue had done their job in getting me to JFK and that they were not responsible for anything after I arrived to JFK. A 4.5 hour delay on a 50 minute flight is bad. Being steadfastly unwilling to compensate for missed flights is worse. And stranding me in JFK after telling me they would offer me a hotel room is just plain unacceptable. My family will be cancelling their JetBlue credit cards and we will look elsewhere for flights in the future.
Pros: The crew seemed capable and came around a couple times with water. We arrived safe and sound as one would hope for, if an hour or so later than scheduled. Seats seemed roomier than most standard economy/coach (probably due to it being an older model). Though I didn’t partake they seemed to offer more complimentary snack options than other airlines.
Cons: The airplane cabin had a strong urine odor that endured throughout the red-eye flight, the air temperature had to have been at least 75 degrees, probably 80 which was a bit stifling. No usb/power at the seat which would be preferable/should be standard by now for a coast-to-coast flight. Seat didn’t recline which isn’t the end of the world but a bit of a bummer. My headphones didn’t work with the little screen at my seat but it’s ok because based on my neighbor’s screen it was just a rotating lineup of Jet Blue commercials/fake tv shows that I can easily pass on.
Pros: 4th time on jet blue and it is a great experience. Room is by far the best of the carriers I have used. Flight crew friendly and engaged. Boarding a breeze as well. Efficient and uncluttered. Will be back for sure.
Pros: My flight was delayed which wasn't related to jet blue and they did everything g they could to get us going which was nice
Cons: The quality of the plane itself seemed to be lacking. The seats felt old and the "entertainment" on the plane did not work well the sound was barely tolerable it was crackling and high pitched. On my previous delta flight everything felt clean and up to date and I even got a free alcoholic beverage. Lately it seems the quality of the flights has gone down where I used to hold it above other airline services. I fly out of Portland Maine a lot and I know it might not be top priority to get a decent plane up there but it would be nice to be on a plane that doesn't feel like one of the crappy spares.
Cons: The flight was delayed by 1hour and 40 min. One hour at the boarding gate and 40min on the airstrip. Pilot said we were overweight. When we landed at 730 vs 557 we still had a delay because our gate was occupied causing a greater dalay. Due ro this delay I was late to work. The flight attendee making the announcements might have been new because she kept messing up what she was saying and shouting and mumbling through the speaker. I usually have amazing flights with jetblue but I'm highly disappointed with this flight.
Pros: Crew was attentive , quiet flight
Cons: More food choices
Cons: The flight could have been on time
Pros: The boarding was quick and the plane departed early.
Cons: I had an exit row seat (21G). The seat felt like a church pew and the right armrest was lower than normal since it was mounted on the exit door. This was by far the most uncomfortable flight I've had. My back started to hurt even before the plane took off.
Cons: It was the last row, could not sleep on it
Pros: Professional crew, no fanfare, standard was excellence.
Cons: Faster flight time in air...
Pros: Crew was super friendly and cool!
Cons: Movies were outdated flying to Amsterdam, coming back was great
Cons: Reservation said hot food, no food was offered except for crackers and nuts, flight had no real options for drink except if you are a coffee drinker or coke drinker
Pros: Crew was nasty. They acted like prison guards not like they supposed to act to customers.
Pros: crew was amazing
Cons: So far nothing.
Cons: All was excellent
Cons: The cookies and snacks are terrible. A single sandwich would have been better and not cost that much more t For the airline
Cons: Delightful experience except at SFO checkin.
Cons: nothing all excellent
Pros: Delta service and comfort is always excellent.
Cons: All is great just keep it up
Pros: COVID safety measures
Cons: There was no in-flight entertainment via Gogo app / Delta Studio.
Pros: Better food
Pros: Clean, comfortable, empty middle seats. Good movie selection.
Cons: Snacks lacked variety and nutritional value.
Pros: Crew from Washington to Cancún were extremely rude
Pros: Very good
Cons: I dont know WHY Delta changed my flight with ALIITALIA, but, DON'T DO IT DELTA. The check in process took an hour, not talking about the line, the ACTUAL checkin at the counter. I couldn't complete my web checkin at the AliItalia web site. Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly.
Pros: Very kind associate working at the gate. She helped me obtain my seat assignment and was a pleasure to speak with. Her happiness was contagious (even at 6am!). She put me at ease.
Cons: The last travelers in boarding line (including myself) had to check their carry on luggage because “there was no more room in the overhead compartments”. However, while I was walking to my seat, I saw ample storage space as well as suitcases that were laying horizontally or flat and could easily have been adjusted to create even more space. Given that most people pack their most valuable items in their carry on bags (as well as anything fragile), I was a bit uneasy checking mine. The associate who helped check my bag on the tarmac was kind. I was grateful that my luggage had a hard shell case.
Pros: Entertainment was great , also being able to watch live tv. Cabin crew were good
Cons: Be on time , delayed for an hour
Pros: extra legroom of comfort plus zone
Cons: Bordung process runs smoother now that the order is made clear ahead of time. In jfk they did not have the columns marked “comfort” “priority? “Main 3”, etc, like they had at Reagan arpoirt in DC
Pros: Delta does an overall nice job.
Cons: Food is OK. Service is friendly though. Comfort + was nice. Bathrooms were not great, smelled, could use a refresh.
Pros: The crew were good.
Cons: The flight was delayed taking off. The crew tried to make it up but it was 90 minutes late in the end - I almost missed a connection. Seats were ok.
Cons: Crew could have proactively provided more water. I was really thirsty mid-flight and had to stand up and ask for water myself.
Pros: Very friendly cabin crew. Comfortable and food was good and drinks and water was plentiful. I would highly recommend Delta for transatlantic flights, compared to so called 4* airline Aer Lingus, then Delta are a 6* in comparison
Cons: My flight was delayed, which would have caused me to miss my connecting flight. The customer service person was not at all helpful, and told me there were no other flights available on any airline until the next day. However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans.
Pros: good flight and pleasant staff
Cons: no vegetarian option in business class therefore nothing to eat for me for whole flight. also sky lounge very poor
Pros: Good customer service
Pros: Food selection and quality were fine. I also enjoyed the entertainment options. Seat area was comfortable and spacious.
Cons: The flight attendants were uniformly rude and nasty to passengers from start to finish. As I boarded, I asked for a piece of art to be stored in the wardrobe compartment. This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Each time they passed through for beverage or meal service, I felt like I was imposing on them. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. Makes me wonder why they were all so upset and and felt it appropriate to speak and act disrespectfully toward customers. (Delta, do you have any insights?) I hope they all got a good night's rest after that haul.
Cons: As a Platinum AFK/KLM Skyteam member I was NOT allowed to use the Delta Lounge. On the flight the meal choice was poor and the staff were not really geared to serving regular clients. The movie choice was poor. I expected better!
Cons: My flight got cancelled without letting me know in advance I was in the airport and spent me hours to switch a flight I ended up arriving at a different airport and need to spend more money for über
Pros: Gate agent was great
Cons: They didn’t have a pilot assigned to our flight. Had to wait 3 hours for a pilot to arrive. 😞. Thank goodness I wasn’t in a hurry to get to my destination.
Pros: Everything was great. Fast flight
Pros: Hard product in first was good for domestic first
Cons: Crew wasn’t terribly friendly. Nothing to drink until 30+ minutes into flight. Allowed crash pax to use first class lav. I pay more so I don’t have to share with so many ppl. Lav was gross 1.5 hrs I to flight.
Cons: We should have boarded later if weather was not ok
Pros: Super smooth flight, good seats
Cons: On time take off would be nice
Pros: Despite the poor rating because of the mechanical issue, I will say the pilots did a fantastic job with some pretty choppy air conditions.
Cons: Flight was delayed almost an hour while we were already on the plane. Minor mechanical issue that could’ve been handled at destination. The seat was super uncomfortable and I would’ve appreciated at least some more from the crew, like maybe even a bottle of water or something.
Pros: Crew was very sweet!
Cons: Plane was much warmer than any flight I’ve been on - lots of people visibly sweating (don’t know if any others complained besides me). Seat was pretty uncomfortable (17D)
Pros: Plane wasn’t full and left and arrived early!
Cons: Offering some kind of beverage
Pros: Clean plane, courteous personnel, everything on time
Cons: Getting the food back would be nice.
Cons: IFE was not streaming movies, WiFi on but not loading
Cons: The airline needs to board and deboard by group number.
Pros: Special assistance readily available
Cons: The weather
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: If there were no delays
Cons: Baggage handler lost my bag, grabbed it off plane cabin, never found
Cons: Delayed flight. Seat didn't recline.
Pros: A bit more legroom than united airlines. Tvs were a plus. The service was excellent and they give you a full can of soda instead of just a dram.
Cons: Nothing really it was a great value for the price.
Pros: The crew looked tired and somewhat friendly. We were delayed about 45 mins and they really didn’t communicate much the Captain did. On the ground we had to wait 20mins for the jet bridge and the door to open and no one said anything. The plane was shut down and turned on again too.
Cons: More communication with the passengers would have been a bit better !!
Pros: The crew were nice people.
Cons: There was no air conditioning and we were re-routed all the way down to Kentucky on the way back!
Cons: Landing, temperature, passengers
Cons: Great flight
Pros: I arrived safely at my destination
Cons: Flight was turbulent, plane was messy, crew had a hard time noticing when passengers needed anything.
Cons: Flight currently delayed 3 hours! No help booking another flight or compensation or way of getting back to NYC in time.
Cons: Flight was cancelled, some staff I dealt with to rebook had some attitude issues, others where fine. Overall not very transparent throughout the process. Definitely could've been much more helpful.
Cons: plane was too hot...AA needs to keep a lower temp and pump air through their plane...on a crowded flight like this was, claustrophobia set in. First time I ever experienced this.
Pros: Knowing what carousel luggage was at - I suppose.
Cons: Extended wait times in taxi departing and landing - took over an hour longer than expected. LaGuardia airport forced passengers to take their car services by walking outside and waiting in a parking garage with (12 degree Fahrenheit feels like -4 and 20 mph winds). Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Changes my mind on flying to LAGUARDIA in the future
Cons: Flight delayed, interior of aircraft was deteriorating
Cons: They lost my luggage. They did not allow me to take her whit me in the plane because i did not fit a suitcase that always travel on top because is small suitcase terrible I will never travel again with amercan airlines
Cons: Our last 6 flights have all been changed or delayed significantly. Then they loose our bags on a direct flight. Won’t fly America airlines again!
Pros: Same size and capacity flight, my instrument was not an issue.
Cons: For the love of god American Airlines you can’t have one person threaten to arrest you for trying to carry a guitar onboard and then someone else on a flight two hours later personally assist you in packing the same guitar into an overhead.
Cons: Took off late from Minneapolis only to announce that there was something wrong with the plane, no explanation as to what but that we had to circle to burn off fuel before returning to Minneapolis. Switched to a flight to D.C. with a connection to get to LGA. As soon as we sat down on that flight an announcement was made that we wouldn't make our connecting flight. Got to D.C. and asked to switch to go into Westchester instead of LGA which we were denied. So changed to another connecting flight to LGA that didn't take off on time. Offered nothing for any of the inconveniences. Etc.
Pros: Everything went smoothly.
Pros: The available movies and games in personal screen
Cons: Seat selection
Cons: When I arrived at the gate, the flight was on time, but no aircraft was at the gate. The gate attendants left at the time we were supposed to Board, then the departure time changed on the board and no announcement was made. Another gate attendant told me that the aircraft was at DYT, but the reason for delay was crew rest. As the delays continued, 3 in all, we were told that the aircraft was at DYT but we were waiting on a crew to be flown in from Charlotte. Not sure how AA messed up their crew rest schedule on domestic regional jet carrier. Either way, a new gate attendant arrived to take over, and continued to tell us we were waiting on crew. Then the story changed to waiting on aircraft and crew. By the time the 3rd change in departure had been made, and we were still waiting on aircraft and cre, AA failed to continue to update the departure and arrival times. Once we boarded around 9:00pm the boarding time still showed 8:10pm. Then we sat on the runway awaiting departure for approx 40 minutes before taking off. Very poor communication And customer service.
Pros: The mobile updates were helpful and timely.
Cons: The overhead space was smaller on this plane and as I learned on my trip to DTW my weekender carry-on would not fit with my shoes in it. Because of this, I pulled my shoes out and put them in a collapsible bag that fit under the seat in front of me along with my small personal bag as I had done on my previous flight. However, the gate agent would not allow me to board the plane and would not listen to my explainations at all as I tried to keep the boarding process moving along. She kept repeating "you have 3 bags" and made me steep out of line and check my carry-on (which I would then have to pick up at baggage claim). When I asked why I couldn't get out on the jetway like she had done for other passengers she said, " I only did that for airline employees" (quick happened to be a flight attendant from Spirit). My overall experience on both flights to and from Detroit was that the gate agents and flight attendants were the most unhelpful and rude airline employees I have delt with and I will stick to my preferred carrier, Delta, for my future flights back and forth to Detroit. They certainly make me feel like a valued customer when I fly them, which I did not feel with American.
Pros: i like the wifi internet that AA provided. Great movies
Cons: The flight attendants were highly rude and i felt as if i was discriminated on. I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her.
Cons: I am missing two items that I had in my checked bag and my clothes and belongings were all messy as if it had been gone through. I am very upset that these items were likely taken by whoever went through my bag.
Cons: Flight was cancelled we were re-routed and didn't get there until 24hours later.
Cons: Late late cancelled chaos in reassignment late late One agent threw up hands said I'm done and left with long line of passengers not yet reassigned Person behind me asked why didn't we take Delta?
Pros: Everything was on time and great.
Cons: Ever thing was fine.
Pros: the team was great, boarsing smooth, arrived early
Cons: we waited an hour for the bags to arrive on the carousel. What's that about? Get it together and have the bags out in time. We're just sitting here waiting for them over an hour - there are no other arrivals in this terminal. What's going on?
Cons: Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled.
Cons: Flight was good until, after arriving 30 minutes early to PWM, our plane had to wait about that much time for our gate to open. Once pulling to the gate we waited another 15 minutes for someone to figure out the walkway and open the door tom the plane-- all with no communication from the crew.
Pros: Very efficient boarding, comfortable coach seats, good crew
Cons: No food! except pretzels and sandwiches for purchase. I didn't purchase a sandwich but on the outbound flight, the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using on-board Wifi, as well as 2 TV shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me.
Cons: i decided to purchase a separate direct flight at a different time instead of changing my flight, only to be informed later when i tried to hop on the back end of my original flight, that they had canceled my ticket since i hadnt boarded on the front end of that flight. i had spoken to a customer service rep about my option before purchasing the extra ticket, and she did not mention that this would be an issue. then i had to pay extra to get back on my original flight.
Pros: I like that the crew was professional and courteous.
Cons: That I was there and hour before my flight and my seat was given up. I didn't like that people are allowed to retract all the way making my flight uncomfortable.
Pros: The gate crew in Roanoke were professional and helpful. The next day's flight was on time and uneventful.
Cons: The flight attendant was unfriendly at boarding. He did not say or play any pre-flight safety announcements. We were told the flight might have to refuel in Richmond due to major weather delays in LGA. When we were landing they said they expected a refuel and a quick turnaround in Richmond. On the plane after landing, I learned via my phone's internet the flight was cancelled. They never announced it on the plane. At the final moment before we disembarked, the crew told us to be sure to take our belongings. When we landed, Flightaware showed delays of 45 minutes at LGA. AA never took responsibility for the problem though the gate crew mentioned they canceled the flight because the crew was going to be over their maximum hours. AA really couldn't plan to allow for up to an hour delay? I feel disrespected and even deceived. Although it was clear that flight attendant really needed to get off that plane. At the gate, we were told there were no available flights to NYC and were stranded overnight in Richmond. AA did offer a hotel pretending it was a courtesy since they claimed the problem was weather related and not theirs. We chose to stay with relatives and were told AA could only provide transportation from the airport which we did not need. We often have problems and cancellations on this route from when it was branded a US Air route to the present, but this was egregious.
Pros: Easy upgrade
Cons: E145 don’t have room for carry on. Instead of people having to wait at exit of plane. Tell them well a head like when booking check your bag and make that one free. It goes to the same place right?
Cons: Person next to me was talking across me
Pros: spaced out
Cons: there was no food alergy alternatives (Gluten Free)
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: I mean nothing. But a cute added feature could be massage chairs in Business/First. JetBlue has them and it is a pretty nice special surprise. But seriously- you guys are great!
Cons: Passengers were packed too tight. I had a woman put her but in my face while I was seated, and hit me in the head with her bag while she tried to get out of the way of another passenger.
Pros: Social distancing was enforced and I was able to have a whole row to myself on both flights.
Cons: Cleanliness on my return flight could have been better. Flight attendants weren’t coming around picking up trash as much as the first flight
Pros: Got me there
Cons: MAKE PEOPLE WEAR MADKS EVEN IF THEY ARE IN FIRST CLASS THE MASK HAS TO COVER THE NOSE!!!
Pros: All my expectations were met
Cons: Everything was fine
Cons: Plane was full!
Pros: The service of the air hostess.
Cons: Definitely more space is better.
Cons: Social distancing enforcement and education
Pros: The plane was amazing
Pros: Got a row to Myself
Cons: No Masks really enforced
Pros: Crew was very accommodating in light of the maintenance delay. Especially for those of us with small children.
Cons: Look, delays suck. We fly about only once a year, and we ALWAYS have a delay. ALWAYS. Air traffic control at Newark will delay a flight for a hangnail.
Pros: 787 is a nice plane. I also like getting miles since I accumulate most miles with United. Not much else to boast about.
Cons: The outbound plane from Newark to Frankfurt was late by 1.5 hr because United could not figure out how to bring the plane (that was sitting in the middle of the airfield to the gate and then they realized that they need get catering supplies to feed the passengers and we were waiting for that too. The inbound flight from Frankfurt to Newark was late by 1.45 hours since they were fixing a computer problem on board. The flight was totally over air-conditioned and when I asked to bring an extra blanket for me the flight attendant started lecturing me that I was wearing shorts and a polo shirt (in the 86F heat at FRA and EWR it was ok!) and that she had no blankets. The second flight attendant who for some reason came 2 miins after the first one apologized for the attitude of his female colleague and immediately brought me an extra blanket.
Pros: On time
Cons: Food was poor
Pros: the flight was scheduled 1h30
Cons: the seat comfort
Pros: Very friendly crew.
Cons: This is a small airplane. I would like to see United insist that people check large bags.
Cons: Going and coming back was delayed
Cons: See above
Cons: Broken video monitor on my seat and window seat. Ripped and dirty pockets on all the back of the seats in the row in front of me. Just a feeling of disrepair.
Pros: Comfortable and efficient
Cons: No vegan food options left
Pros: Check in was very good Both Outward and Return flights were on time. Crew very attentive Seating not too bad (if you haven't got long legs)
Cons: Food could be a bit more varied - some people don't like pasta and some people don't like chicken - what was left????? Should have different entertainment on different legs of the journey Not really Flight-related but Passport Control in US could do with a review .... waiting a good hour or so - come stations were empty and those that weren't the staff were changing shifts while there was still loads of people to go through - not nice when you have people meeting you.
Pros: It’s existance. Informative capt.
Cons: Late almost 3 hours. Sketchy bev service. 50 seat RJ.
Pros: Service was very good, they were on time and considering the flight time food was good too.
Pros: An early departure!
Pros: On time
Cons: The flight attendants were rude, impatient and generally seemed unhappy to be working on this particular flight.
Pros: Friendly staff, happy to help
Cons: Was all good
Pros: Staff were very helpful especially with delayed flights etc
Cons: Aircraft was very old, bad food, lack of entertainment, poor tv and hard to use, uncomfortable seats
Cons: Seat kicked throughout the flight from behind, screaming child in my ear on the side, constantly declining and inclining chair in front. Melted ice cream and butter. Butter poured onto my lap on opening! Audio didn't work on films. Couldn't store my bag anywhere near my seat Utterly dreadful
Pros: very kind crew members and flight was an hour early.
Cons: The worst food on an airline ever...witnessed so much waste all around me. No one could eat it. Entertainment broken and sound quality awful.
Pros: First time first class flyer. It was great!
Cons: Being separated from my wife in seating when we booked before others that we talked to!
Pros: Service,management, food
Cons: Entertainment was awful. You have to watch movies on your phone and then the wifi/app doesn't even work!
Cons: Really awful, disorganized and unapologetic.
Pros: Got through sucurity ar PNR barely in time to make flight.
Cons: Even though I am a frequent flyer with a Global Access card, I was select for enhanced security check. I paid for the Global Accessmcard especially sofas to avoid this. United said it was a TSA thing while TSA said it was at the prerogative of the airline. Why did this happen? So much for TSA Pre or Global Access.
Cons: The flight was full to capacity
Pros: Food was good. Staff were great. Headphones not the best.
Pros: Nothing!!! It was handled in a terrible way
Cons: The way they didn't care
Cons: Original flight booked was for 1:30. Week before changes to 5:30. Then 6:30. Arrive at the airport and flights delayed to 7. Then 730. 8. 830 etc etc etc til 11. No explanation. No food tickets. Rude responses like this gem: pointed out how long I was waiting with no word --> told by a united employee that he's been there since 7am. I point out he's bad to be there. He says he's not. I guess a united volunteer then? Then only handed out water since 'it's a short flight'. Useless.
Cons: Southwest has much better experience.
Pros: The flight was ok.
Cons: It took a long time to hook up to the jetway once we taxied in to EWR. Pilot even commented that he didn't know what the heck she was doing out there.
Pros: Crew. Aircraft selection.
Pros: I liked when Delta stepped up and had us booked on one of their flights within seconds, after United abandoned us at their own terminal.
Cons: Flight delayed 3 times due to maintenance, total of 5 hours. After final arrival time came and went with no plane or even announcement, I had to go back through security to front desk to find a rep and remind United that they had forgotten about us. They handed us off to the Delta counter with no apology (except the "new girl" apologized)
Cons: it took me three days to get home. the first plane had a mechanical error. the second flight united booked me on was over booked so i didnt get a seat. the third flight they tried to send me on was also over booked. luckily someone volunteered to give up their seat.
Pros: Friendly and polite! Crew.
Cons: Middle seat. Space too small.
Cons: No agent to check in when I arrived at airport. Only at gate. No advance check in or advance seating. Allowed passengers to have more than 2 bags. Flight was late. No help getting to next gate or holding aircraft. Absolutely uncomfortable sitting.
Pros: the afternoon coffee, not offered by others
Pros: That I got a refund, although that should be a given
Cons: Had to purchase new flight day of, as I was told of flight cancellation 5 hours before leaving to the airport. I then had to spend $500 on a new flight, and one of the connections refused to let me on the plane. Stil not home.
Pros: Nothing i thought it would be the price but that is not worth the headache to this trip. You pay for what you get.
Cons: Not paying for carryons, having water to drink. Not so many changes and charges. I will never fly with this airline again
Pros: crew was really nice and was genuinely a comfortable flight over all
Cons: cabin service
Cons: With 50% load crew may alloved pasangers to ocupy empty seats and keep distancing.
Pros: Smooth boarding process
Cons: Flight was delayed, flight crew were not able to set boundaries with other passengers who would get up and delay the take off
Pros: Great economical way to get there!
Pros: Clean plane. Friendly service.
Cons: Flight was delayed . Baggage took forever to reach carousel
Cons: Had to pay $40 for carry on and 17 pp for seat assignmnent then didn’t have the seats chosen. They charge for softdrinks and no free snack. Flight arrived 3 hours late (weather) ... seats don’t recline - no entertainment at all and tray table couldn’t support a styrofoam takeout nor a laptop
Pros: Not applicable.
Cons: Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline.
Pros: The crew was friendly amd helpful.
Cons: The seat didn't recline well and there was no drink or food on the plane.
Pros: Plane did not crash. Thankful that the water was free and there was no charge for cabin pressurization.
Cons: Steerage accomodations deceptively marketed. Was on a Delta flight 2 days earlier (at a lower price). Couldn't believe yours was the same model plane, Congratulations on having designed the most mean SPIRiTED seat in the airline industry - deliberately less undersest storage and no cushioning or reclining so you can pack in like sardines, only to find on ticket checkout that I would have to add a special premium because the right to sit is not included in my ticket price. By the time I discovered I'd be paying for my cup of coffee, I wasn't even surprised. I, and the two travelers I met sharing my row, were first and last time customers,
Pros: The flight was faster than expected which was very nice. Was a smooth ride for the most part.
Cons: Baggage takes way longer than other airlines I've experienced to pick up from claim. Wish their were free snacks available on board.
Cons: STAFF WERE RUDE. DRINK WERE 3 DOLLARS. SEATS WERE TERRIBLE , NO SPACE , NO LEG ROOM , DIRTY PLANE , DIRTY TRAYS , UNCOMFORTABLE , TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE . NO TV , EVEN . PAID 1200 DOLLARS FOR TWO TICKETS ONE WAY FROM MIAMI TO NY .
Pros: What's the point of charging cheap fares if your seating will suck, you will chrage me FOR ME TO CARRY MY OWN BAG and on top not even a soda is free??? Nothing to eat on the plane unless I am ok with Oreos and Beef jerky? Who told the CEO that this is a good strategy to get people to come back to it... NEVER AGAIN!
Pros: Check in process was very efficient, no wait. Plane was clean. Staff on plane helpful
Cons: Long line to board plane. 100+ people on jetway in Miami and it was very hot!! Very simple seats, not particularly comfortable. First time flying with Frontier and was surprised drinks and snacks not included. Costly, $650 for 4 seats Miami to LGA, one way.
Cons: It was bad enough that we had a delayed flight but while we waited for 6 hrs. No one gave us water or anything. And then when we went on the flight the only thingthat was offered for free was drink we still had to pay for peanuts. Never again. You can't be the only flight out of NY and have NO Pilot available. The ticket was cheap but not worth it. I wish I would've seen the reviews before I booked
Cons: frontier was awful. they pushed our flight out of new york back three times and then canceled in the middle of the night, saying they didn't have partnerships with other airlines so couldn't get us out until the 25th (the day before our return flight). we talked to both customer service on the phone (20 minute wait to get someone) and gate agents and EVERYONE said they weren't authorized to give us a refund for any of the inconvenience and unanticipated expenses. ultimately we ended up flying out of philly (paying for our own bus tickets) on AMERICAN (paying for another flight with our own money) to get to our family in denver. on the way back they weren't going to let us check luggage for free, again saying no one was authorized to do that until thankfully they discovered a note from the manager we spoke to in nyc. otherwise they would not have given it to us even after we spoke to the manager in denver. we boarded our return flight to find that we couldn't sit down as someone had vomited (not frontier's fault), and that was the cherry on top. we just burst out laughing because the whole thing was a disaster. we ended up spending the same amount as our "inexpensive" frontier tickets and more on fixing the trip ourselves because they wouldn't help us at all. truly a terrible experience and i don't anticipate flying frontier again.
Pros: The flight was on time.
Cons: Bait and switching pricing - awful. You have to pay for your seat - literally, along with your carry on bag. Cannot even get water on the flight - all beverages are charged. Gate staff tried to charge me an additional $50 for an 'extra length' seat, even after I explained to him that I had already paid for the 'perks' benefit and showed him my receipt and boarding pass. He insisted and I finally logged on to my phone and upgraded my boarding pass myself in his presence! All he said was, "wow. you made out." Awful awful. The best (worst)? They actually checked in and boarded a customer with a Delta boarding pass (it was crumpled, the gal was young and was just trying to make her flight, she was a bit confused.) THEY DID NOT SCAN THE BOARDING PASS!!!!! She boarded the plane and of course no seat for her. More confusion as she now had to get off and make her way to the Delta terminal, resulting in her missing her flight. It was the same brilliant gate clerk who I dealt with earlier. Frontier admins will hear about this as this breach of protocol was a serious security issue. Will never, ever, fly Frontier again.
Pros: That I was greeted that's it
Cons: Uncomfortable flight seats and tables are unmaintained
Pros: Clean plane
Cons: Delays, problems with online checkin resulting in call to Frontier for help which was its own frustration, tons of hidden fees--I understand charging for bags, but to sit by the person you booked with?!?
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: You have to pay for carry-on, drinks, snacks, everything! Onnoxious beeping throughout the flight, super cramped seating, no charge ports, wifi, or entertainment! PLUS both flights were delayed!
Pros: I like that Boarding On time.
Cons: I paid $35 for my carry on bag. And even can't find the space to put it on the cabinet above my seat. Flight attendant just tell me to look for another space. They never help me anything. It took me a while to find the one far away from where I was seated. One of male flight attendant opened the cabinet above my head, maybe grab his stuff but one bottle of water fell down. It almost hit my head and luckily it just touched my shoulder. It was my horrible experience. I picked this flight because it fits my schedule. Next trip I will never take it any more.
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: I had to pay separately for my seat after purchasing my flight as well as having to pay for a carry on bag separately... don't try to make me pay for stuff I need like that!
Cons: Flight has been delayed. Still waiting. The reasons for the delay continue changing. I want a refund and i highly doubt i'll fly frontier again. Back to Jetblue!!!
Pros: The crew
Cons: Tiny, firm, overcrowded seats. I had to pay extra fora seat that was literally no different than the rest. I had a surprise bag fee. The only complimentary thing was water. No entertainment whatsoever. This compared to a flight a week ago with better seats, even a little complimentary food, plus some entertainment. All for less money.
Pros: Cheap, not unpleasant overall
Cons: Seat not very comfortable, bit cramped
Pros: Nothing! I was just happy we had a safe flight.
Cons: This was my first and last time ever I would flight with this airline! I don't know where to begin! from the rude receptionist at the counter telling me "I'm just following the rules..." to the uncomfortable seat that don't recline. my ticket cost me almost $500 to Denver, that should cost half! because the airline, forced a hidden fee of $40 for a carry on -both ways $80- ! and to top that, it was an uncomfortable ride, seats don't recline, and they had no Entertainment screen, no food, and rude service.
Pros: Plane didn't crash.
Cons: Horrible from start to finish. Difficulty getting boarding pass from Kiosk. Constant gate shifting – four times with an 1.5 hr delay – ensures you can't wait comfortably for flight. Very poor communication. Had not expected a full-price fair ($250 one-way) to include zero amenities. Seats, that you pay extra for, do not recline. Counter staff appears to be trained to hassle and hustle customers rather than provide service. Flight staff was rude and irritable and rebuffed any attempt at friendliness.
Pros: Nice crew handled a medical emergency on the flight with compassion and skills.
Cons: Horrible and cramped charged extra for everything possible. bag checked, bag stowed, drinks... awful wait.. awful flight with pilot and crew hawking merchandise and a steward explaining that he needed out of his bad career choice. NEVER fly Frontier. Learned my lesson. Stay away from kayak!
Cons: Outgoing flight was delayed by 18 hours. Cancelled my inbound flight and purchased a last minute flight with another airline and still haven't received a refund.
Pros: There were delays in LGA that kept us in Miami and the crew handled it really well. They kept us informed, let us deplane, helped us understand how this was way better than zipping north and running out of fuel from circling, etc They kept everyone very sane.
Cons: The fees on carry-on baggage are not obvious enough. For my return trip I was aware, but it really changes how I feel about this "low priced" airline. Also, the seats don't recline unless you pay for "special seats" and the tray tables are a challenge.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Uncomfortable seats; ruined handle on luggage;
Cons: We missed out flight because Frontier originally delayed the flight 45 minutes, only to take off on time, with no announcement or update to the flight status online. We went to the gate 15 minutes after the original departure time to be told it had already taken off. We checked the status of the flight multiple times online to avoid this very thing and the online status never changed. When we went to the Frontier desk to re-book on another flight, the attendant told us she could get us to New Orleans (we were going to New York) - NOT HELPFUL. We ended up booking another flight on Delta to get us home.
Pros: The pilot was nice and the plane was very clean.
Cons: One flight attendant was yelling all over the plane instead of politely walking up to guests and informing them that the overhead baggage holders were full. Also, there seem to be a mix up with seating as before the plane doors closed, this same flight attendant allowed a guest to move to another seat, only for the ticket attendant to walk back on the plane and inform the flight attendant that she needed those seats. I usually fly with Delta, American Airlines, and in my 30 years of traveling have I not seen such unprofessionalism with regards to miscounted seats and the way the flight attendant handled those customers.
Pros: We took off and landed safely.
Cons: Extra charges for everything, including all bags, choosing a seat and even buying a ginger ale. The playful upbeat tone of Frontier Airlines is all gone.
Cons: The Southwest-style pay for everything model, except that the base price of the ticket was fairly expensive. So I felt like I was being nickled and dimed and ripped off. Seats were horribly uncomforatble. Tray tables that hardly count as a table (my brought onboard meal wouldn't fit on it) and lack of any entertainment all made me feel like I was traveling in the cargo hold.
Pros: the low initial fare
Cons: leg space non existent tray table too small, can fit a lunch box carry on policy - there's no carry on allowed
Pros: Boarding was great, nice & smooth
Cons: There were two of the most loud & disruptive children on board traveling with a mother who had no interest in trying to calm them down or separate them. They were old enough to know how to behave and this all started well before the cabin doors closed - they LITERALLY drew blood from one another. Why did the crew leave it to other passengers to have to say something? If they had been drunk & belligerent adults they would have been removed but because they were belligerent children everyone looked the other way. It made for a completely miserable experience like none other I've ever experienced on any airline.
Pros: I didn't like anything.
Cons: The flight attendance wouldn't sell me water or give me water when I asked for it on the plane. This was before the plan was descending, so he literally had no excuse. She didn't even have the common courtesy to come to me and say she wasn't going to give me any water. We had to ask her why she didn't provide water even when she had a water bottle in her hand. I will never fly with Frontier again. Also they try and trick you with cheap airline tickets initially, but then charge you $40 for 1 checked bag each way and you don't get any perks! Not even water. This was terrible.
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: They made me pay 60 dollars for a carry on at the gate, they were also very unorganized. There was no flexiblity. Staff was ok on the aircraft.
Pros: The seats remind me of wooden school house chairs - narrow, hard (no padding) and don't recline. Fly another airline. By the time your done paying all the gotcha fees you didn't save any money flying this economic airline.
Cons: Bare bones as it gets. There is zero entertainment - no tv, no wifi, ect. Seats are the cheapest I've ever seen in the travel industry. All the passengers were hunched forward because the seats were so uncomfortable. The trays are wide enough to hold two drinks. The trays can't hold a laptop or a magazine. Water is free which is one upgrade which is better than spirit. However, spirit had cushioned seats that recline.
Pros: I need and want a refund.
Cons: Barbara, the manager at Hartfield/Jackson in Atlanta is very rude and has no compassion or interest in customer service.
Cons: My girlfriend and I struck up a conversation with a woman sitting next to us in our row about an hour into the flight. About 10 minutes after that we notice the woman in front of us is glaring at us, writhing around in histrionics, holding her ears, cursing to her husband and basically making every passenger around her look at each other wondering "what is going on with this woman"? Finally this woman turns around and is staring at us. I ask her if there is a problem, and she replies "yeah. There is. You're saying "like" too much. Can you just shut up?". Wrong thing to say to me. I called her a few choice words which I won't repeat, then her husband gets his tough guy act going, by this time everyone around our seats are uncomfortable at the rising confrontation. The flight crew come over and try to move them, but they refuse to move. My girlfriend and I end up moving our seats to avoid the flight being diverted and ruining everyone else's plans. For the last hour of the trip we sat seperately in the back of the plane. Once I moved I was speaking to an older couple next to me about their plans, showing a visiting family the features of the New York skyline as we landed and giving them advice on traveling in NYC, so apparently my voice didn't cause anyone else who wasn't either drunk or crazy to begin an argument with me. I know the issue has nothing to do with kayak or the airline, just a maladjusted few people that can't be in public, but that was hands down the worst flight I have ever had.
Pros: This flight was horrible from start to finish. This was a flight from Miami to New York, scheduled to depart at 2:25 and arrive at 5:25. Around 1:30 we were told we'd be departing at 3:30 instead due to "weather at LaGuardia." I'd like to point out that countless friends and family, and also every weather app known to man, assured me there was absolutely no bad weather in the New York area and in fact there wasn't supposed to be until that evening, when there was a chance of thunderstorms. So if anything, delaying the flight only increased our chances of running into said bad weather. In any event, we boarded at 3pm and then around 3:30 were told we'd now be delayed again, probably departing around 4pm. So we sat on the runway like idiots. We did leave shortly after 4pm, and then once we got to the LaGuardia area about two hour later, we were told we needed to refuel (????) so we were being rerouted to Raleigh. About 40 minutes later we were told there was a storm in Raleigh so actually we would be going to Newport News. This is absolutely no joke, but the flight crew nor the pilot knew which state Newport News was in and upon arriving they announced we were in Virginia and said they knew that thanks to a Google search. Keep in mind it was now about 8pm and we had all been prepared for a short flight that would arrive hours ago, so everyone was beginning to get really hungry and irritable. This is where the flight crew started to really, thoroughly suck. In addition to being completely rude to anyone who tried to ask if we could get some more information, they were CHARGING people for water and offering nothing in the way of food. Only after a passenger begged did they dole out granola bars and cups half-filled with water around 9pm. Also, this entire time we weren't able to leave the aircraft and this was when the bathrooms decided to go out, and they were out of commission for about 30 minutes, so that was fun. We finally got into the air around 10pm and landed in LaGuardia by 10:50. Also, just a note, but when we took off in Newport News the weather had turned and there was heavy rain and lightning. We had no issue taking off during the storm, but apparently the storm was the reason for the initial delay? Whatever. Anyway we finally landed in LGA after being on that plane for 7+ hours. Then, just when we thought it was over, we were told there wasn't a gate open and we would need to sit on the plane and remain on the runway for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes was actually more like 45, so around 11:30 we finally, FINALLY could get off and I have never seen passengers de-board a plane so quickly. Overall this was one of the worst experiences ever, and while I try and be understanding when it comes to delays, what really put this over the edge was 1) the lack of reasoning for the delays and 2) the incompetency and rudeness of the crew. They made no one feel safe or comfortable. This was the absolute worst.
Cons: Everything. I genuinely can't think of one plus, aside from the comraderie of the passengers.
Pros: Pleasant flight attendant, clean cabin and bathroom
Cons: The most uncomfortable seats I have ever encountered on an airplane, lack of information about ridiculous add-ons when booking the flight, carry-on more expensive then checked bags is counter-intuitive. The most disturbing issue was that an unavoidable delay (not the fault of the airline), was handled poorly by the pilot who subjected us to 20 minutes plus of a piercing high pitched, loud, cabin sound that became a health concern for several passengers. We will never fly Frontier again
Pros: I like that the plane didn't crash. Other than that Frontier's service, from paying for your carry on and beverages and the ticket agents to the flight attendants was, I imagine, worse than a greyhound bus ride. I was able to download the frontier app and get my boarding pass, and make the flight (drenched in sweat from running through the airport) as they were closing the boarding door. Thank god for cardio and determination.
Cons: There were five ticket agents at the counter when I got to the counter (an hour before my flight). All five of them were helping one person and talking to each other for about 10 minutes. Then one split off to help the next person in line - or just to get a laugh by telling the couple they weren't make their flight and they weren't going to drop anymore bags to the plane because we were close to the 45 minute cutoff before the departure time. Perhaps if they had been working as a team rather than a gang the whole lot of us would have been checked in on time. When I got on the plane (after asking folks in security if I could get in front of them and running like a madman through the terminal) the flight attendant was the pinnacle of passive aggressive annoyance. This was my first and probably last ticket I buy flying frontier.
