Friendly crew!
Cons: "The crew was overly aggressive with mask policy enforcement. They patrolled the aisles and routine pointed at passengers directing them in a hostile manner to keep their masks on their faces, even when they were trying to eat or drink. They also threatened customers by stating it was a federal law several times. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. I will not fly delta again by choice."

Cons: "Heading from BWI to Newark to Boston on 9/29 on United. There were delays at Newark airport which lasted about an hour, and meant that we would be super tight getting in for our connecting flight. We had been told ahead of the departure of the delayed flight that there would be someone on the ground at Newark monitoring the delayed connecting flights, in case a flight needed to be held. Well, we actually landed about 15 minutes before our connecting flight was due to take off. However, we quickly found out that not only were the gates closed early, but the flight tracker was showing the flight had actually left early. There was clearly no communication between on the ground crews, and everyone working at the airport once we landed seemed confused about the situation. By the time we got within eyeshot of our gate, the gate agents were telling us that the Boston flight was already closed. This meant that no one was even monitoring the situation for us, and that they made no effort to hold the plane for the five of us who were supposed to be on that flight. Additionally, that was the last flight to Boston from Newark, so they literally didn't give one iota of care for our situation. I had a 10am wedding to attend that next day, and even after telling the agent this information she still asked me whether I wanted to get on a 10:38am flight to Boston, which made exactly zero sense. After all of this, she ended up getting me on a flight into manchester (that flight had been delayed for 3 hours by this time, and was delayed again after I was booked on it) which landed at 1:24am, a full two hours and some change after I would have landed in Boston, and a full hour away from Boston. Luckily, my boyfriend had his car and was able to pick me up. I finally got to Boston around 2:45am. My suggestion to the airport crews is to actually communicate when you have issues like this. It wasn't our fault, but we were greatly inconvenienced and they did not make an effort to prevent the situation at all. Adding to this, our pilot for that first flight told us that the reason for the first delay was that Newark was congested with too many flights into and out of the airport. THAT is entirely their fault for not being able to properly gauge their own capacity and should not have ended up inconveniencing passengers! I end all this with an additional inconvenience- when I arrived for my flight on Sunday at 4:40am for a 5:55am flight back to DC, I was told that my return flight had been CANCELED. Somehow, in rebooking me on the flight to Manchester. So I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with United to get that fixed at 5 in the morning and nearly missed my return flight due to crew incompetence as well."

Even when you stretch out your feet under the seat in front of you, you will hit the person’s feet in front if you. If you do not stretch forward, you will bump your neighbor. I was on a 3.5 hour flight and it was uncomfortable. I will likely not fly Frontier again."

My lower back started to spasm b/c the shape was wrong for my back, so I had to use my sweater for padding instead of a pillow as I planned. Not the end of the world - it is an economy airline - but something I wish I had known. Now I do and will bring a 2nd sweater for pillow."

Pros: "Barely anything - from check in, to waiting at the gate, to the flight experience, there was no positive to flying Frontier. If I had to pick a positive, it would be that I had a safe flight to my destination."
Cons: "The check in process did not work on line, so I checked in at that airport. Then, the flight was delayed. My flight time was originally 7:15a.m. I received an on line notice that the flight was delayed after 8a.m. - NOT HELPFUL. Then, at the gate, we weren't told that the flight was delayed until after 7:15a.m. The flight was delayed twice, with minimal to no explanation. We were told there was a mechanical issue that could take 10 minutes or 10 hours to fix. The staff was VERY rude to anyone who asked what was happening, as well as to several passengers who had been on the previous flight and had deplaned to get food, drinks, etc. The seating on the flight is very uncomfortable and there is no offer for drinks (non-alcoholic) or snacks of any type without paying extra money. There was a fair amount of turbulence during the flight, and the landing was very rough compared to several other flights I have been on recently. Overall, I would never recommend Frontier to anyone. Ever."

Cons: "We paid for priority seating because my wife is pregnant and high risk however we never got it. Then when we get to the terminal to check our luggage the women at the counter was rude and very uncurtious to our situation. We were moving cross country via plane ride and we had two extra bags but would in no way try to find us a coupon or something for preordering most of our luggage and our tickets two weeks in advanced. Anyways decent service on plane but service everywhere else was absolutely atrocious and makes not want to fly ever again with this company! Could at least get a refund of what I paid for our two extra bags which was a steep $90!!! Please?"

Cons: "Lots of extra fees. Never paid 45 for a carry on! I was sitting next to a very large person who could not fit between the armrests, so she had the armrest up and took up at least a quarter of my space. It was very cramped and there was a lot more body contact than anyone should have to deal with when paying >$400 for a seat."
Pros: "I liked the Staff. There was Cindy (who had won a recent award) and Mitch and one really funny person. They made the flight great. They were outgoing and friendly but kept everyone in line as well. They were really professional. I actually signed up for a Frontier Credit Card because it was such a great flight."

Cons: "Yes it's a budget airline but the seats are not very comfortable and there is absolutely no leg room unless your 5'4 and they do not recline. The seating arrangement is nuts they choose for you, you can choose yourself if you join their club and you still have to pay. The carry on/checking fee is $30 if your bag is 50 lbs or less. Otherwise you will pay $75 I believe. The only thing that is free is water by the cup otherwise the small bottle water is expensive. Yes it's a budget airline so remember, on longer flights I think I would rather pay more and have a more comfortable flight. Also the Airbus 319/320 that they use suck. They are old and you feel a lot of turbulence."

Pros: "It was cheap, which we appreciated. Even paying for carry on did not add much to the price overall. We will use this airline again. The crew were very nice. Our flight was on time and even got us there early."
Cons: "We were not offered water. But I can understand they are trying to cut costs for us. On the return trip, we brought our own water. No big deal. There is very little room onboard, so we felt squished."

Cons: "One hour and a half late with no explanation. You are required to get your own boarding pass before you drop off luggage. Frontier staff yell out directions to customers the entire time. The price of carry ons is more expensive then checked baggage. It would be nice if baggage was included in the price of ticket to begin with. Also beverages and food are only for purchase now. There is no longer complimentary water or sodas available. Seats no longer recline so on longer flights it much more difficult to be comfortable. Overall, just not that impressed with the changes I experienced I will definitely look at other airlines."
Cons: "When we checked in at the counter they did not inform us about carry-on charges. Most airlines don't charge fees for carry-ons, but frontier does. We had to pay $60 each for small carry-on at the gate. This practice is unfair to people who are not familiar with cheap airline business models. They should be more transparent about their fees on the ticket and at the counter. This cheap airline is so cheap that they couldn't hire enough staffs at the DCA gate. There's only one staff checking in the tickets at the gate and we had to wait until everyone went into the plane to pay for our $60 check in fees."

Cons: "Seats were barely minimum quality, no entertainment systems, no food (not even a little bag of peanuts or pretzels), flights were late, and on the last leg I missed my connection, partly because we were late, but also because there was no ground crew to get the plane to the gate, so we waited over 15 minutes just meters from the dock, and watched the ground crew handle several other planes down the line, during which time my last flight must have taken off. I was rebooked on the next flight to my destination, even mentioning my checked bag, which I hoped would also be placed on the next flight out. That last flight was also delayed in departing, and when I arrived at my destination, my bag did not. I filed a claim, and was told I'd receive an email with a claim # and contact info, and my bag would be delivered to my home the following day. No emai arrived, and no bag arrived. I have filed another claim via the airline's web site, so we'll see what happens. Also, they charge high prices (IMO) for checked bags, carry-on bags (1 personal item is free), and seat selection. Not as economical as it seems at first! I doubt I will ever use this airline again."
Pros: "My husband said that there was a little more room than usual in the seats, in part bc the seats don't have a full size drop down tray. I did appreciate that the seats were comfortable even though they don't tilt back, and since they don't tilt back, it means you don't have the person in front of you tilting all the way back into your space."
Cons: "Frontier is really just another cheap airline that will charge you extra for everything now. It's annoying enough that you have to pay to get a seat assignment and to take a bag (carry on or check) but when the flight attendant said it would cost be $1.99 to get a cup of coffee, that was it for me. I also found the dinky little half trays annoying - there's no way to do anything on them. and since they don't lock, every child on the plane spent the entire trip dropping them down to hear the loud sound they made. Also with the arm rests. Oy. Also, the board of our flight out of Denver was ridiculous. The flight was delayed quite a bit and then Frontier check in person not once but twice announced we would begin boarding only to then realize it wasn't ready yet and shut the doors. It was really weird."

Cons: "This is a very stripped down way to travel. Expect to be nickeled and dimed for everything. Carry on ran me $40. However, they don't check if you actually paid the carry on fee and put your things in the overhead compartment. I watched people putting the backpacks and other items up there (and they did not pay). Additionally, nothing is for free on board- food and drinks will cost you (even a soda). The worst was not realizing you are assigned a seat (free), I got the middle seat (yay)! If you want to check in and select a seat, it will cost you $9 to $45 for any seat (they also do not recline)... Just crazy! My trip ended up costing me the same amount as a Virgin America ticket I passed up because it was too expensive."
Cons: "1. I don't like the charges for baggage or seating. 2. The cramped space in the $16 seats is very uncomfortable, and I'm under 6' and normal BMI. No seat should have less legroom than the $27 seats. I plan on making an effort to NOT fly Frontier again."

Cons: "The seats a bit crowded. I don't like the baggage policy at all, especially the carry-on policy. I traveled with my mom and we shared a suitcase to save another baggage fee, which limited us almost too much with our luggage. If we had not shared then it would have been more than flying with another airline. I really disliked that it costs more for luggage if you don't pre-pay online more than 24 hrs in advance. What if you don't have a computer? Some older people don't. I would fly Frontier again but only if the rate was far less than another airline."

We will never fly Frontier again - it was a huge fiasco."

Cons: "My flight never happened. I was supposed to fly on a Thursday, but because I was passing through Denver and a blizzard had closed the airport the DAY BEFORE, Frontier's flight was cancelled on Thursday. First I spend an hour and fifteen minutes on hold before finally giving up and calling back in the middle of the night. Then I waited fifteen minutes to speak to someone, who informed me that the earliest they could get me a flight would be TUESDAY. That is FOUR DAYS from my day of departure. My only options were a refund or a Tuesday flight. I asked to speak to a manager, but the employee refused to transfer me and eventually hung up on me. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had with an airline. I am still fighting for a refund, after I had to purchase a day-of flight with another airline to reach my destination. It required me to fly from a different airport and to a different airport, which was a nightmare for my other travel plans. Needless to say, I will never fly Frontier airlines again, and will never recommend them to anyone."

I spend $16 on the seat and $40 on the carry on. Interesting nickel and dime concept for sure. But then I get to the seat and it doesn't recline. OK, that's fine I guess I only paid $16 for the seat. But what's with that thing you call a "pull down tray". You can't get a computer on it, even my tiny MAC. So I put my briefcase on my lap and I guess made my own little table. That's a bit much."
