They reminded me several times that I was not a preferred customer and that I had bought my ticket through kayak. This is the reason they gave for lack of help. It was frustrating to say the least. I’m not sure how they expect to gain repeat customers if they treat first time customers like that."

We were not given the seats we pre picked months before when buying the ticket. The ac was broken for the first half of the flight. Then, we missed our connecting flight because of the first delay. Once we got onto a new connecting flight, it was also delayed and once again, we missed our last connecting flight and are not making it to our final destination today."

Cons: "Normally, I am not picky regarding airline food. In SAS's economy or "Go" class, there is no choice of food. I can think of plenty of dishes that would be appealing to many people. Yet the meal that was served, beef stew, posed a problem as I don't eat red meet. Since many people also do not eat beef due to religious beliefs, I am appalled by SAS's decision to only serve this dish to its economy class passengers. As I ordered my ticket through Kayak, I didn't have the option to request a special diet, nor did I think to do so as airlines generally do not serve serve a beef dish as their one and only."

Never in my 25 years of international travel have I seen this from a mainstream carrier. For this fact alone, I will never fly this airline again. You also have to pay to pick your seats in advance."

Consequently, we departed IAD almost two hours late, causing us to miss our connection in Copenhagen. Norwegian Air had a flight leaving shortly from Copenhagen to Rome, but the transfer agent told us SAS "does not re-book with Norwegian." Instead we were assigned to two more flights, one to Brussels, and another from Brussels to Rome. We arrived in Rome around 17:00 rather than 10:35 as scheduled, losing a full day of sight-seeing."

All in all, the flight attendants were rude and unwilling to accept any ownership in the poor conditions of this 9 hour flight."

As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

My carry on bag had to be stored in the bottom of the aircraft as the overhead lockers in the aircraft are small. As such - just before you board the aircraft, you place your carryon bag at the bottom of the steps and then when you get off at your destination, you collect your carry on bag at the bottom of the steps - no time wasted and worked easily."

Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

I was melting & miserable — impossible to sleep. Cramped, basic economy seats. Awful experience."

Cons: "Iberia should do something about its check-in process, it seems way below the industry standards. 1. Online check is only worth if you don't have any luggage. If you do, there's no point of doing that, because there's one line for both check-in and luggage drop off. 2. If you arrive to the airport 1h45min before the flight (LOCAL flight!!!), you'll be among the last ones to check-in, because you will spend about an hour in the line (there's just two people at the register: one for economy and one for business). And they only gave us 15 dollars voucher!! 2) There was a 2 hours delay due to a storm in the south of the USA. Although I am fully understandable with the fact that this situation is out of hands for the TAP company, is it in their hands the care and wellbeing of their passengers. As previoulsy stated, I received a 15 dollars voucher to use becasue of the delay. At any airport, for any decent meal, you will pay a minimum of 25-30 dollars. All items are more expensive. While waiting in the gate to board, we were not offered with snacks, water, etc.. additionally, no announements or updates at all. 3) I had a very uncofortable situation with one of the filght attenders. Male, very tall, dark hair and dark skin. When distributing dinner, I found the way he approached me very disrespectul, ironic and dismissive. ZERO customer services and he is actually the face of TAP in these planes. Unaceptable. I have to look all the way up to him, he wouldn't make an effort to band a bit (of course, not completely) to at least try to hear what I was saying. He was requesting me to speak loud but he would not make a minimum effort to get close to me. His demeanor and attitude made me feel very upsted... abuse of power... to the pooint that I ended up not taking the meal. No manners at all. He should understand that after hours of waiting (check-in usual time plus the 2 hours delay) we were all very tired. Particularly at that timeof the day. Some of us where up for since earlyi in the moring and you could tell that most of the passengers were exhausted. The second we got into our seat, we all used our blankets and try to sleep. He was not empathetic or councious about that. I felt very uncomfortable. Both of the girls that were also in the back area of the plane, were also lacking manners and customer services. I don't know.. other times was much better."

It was not our fault that we could not connect in Portugal, every other airlines would make resonable accommodations with out any extra charge.
