Cons: "I wouldn't know how our flight to Sioux Falls was. Delta left without us, after they made us late. We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

The woman to my right was close to 300 lbs and was spilling into my seat. The gentleman next to me kept putting his elbows in my side. The cabin was way too hot -- uncomfortably so -- and the air vents barely pushed out air. The entertainment system on the plane was broken. I couldn't wait to land in NY."

We had to wait four more hours to go to Bogota. Also the sits were accomodated terribly for me (I can understand they had to use what was available) but if Im traveling with a minor the airline should make sure the child is seated next or near me. Even though, I understood it was a detail that simply they did not control correctly, I requested to two flight attendants to please fix the problem for me, but I was totally ignored by both. When I told them a second time, they said to me there was nothing they can do. But coincidencially, right after I was told, he sat one passanger whom have not seat assigned, right in front of me on the emergency exit. The attendant said minors cant go there which is true, but I would have seated there, and my daughter on the sit that I was which was right behind me. That plus another rude encounter with one of the flight attendants when I was getting into the plane made of my experience with Copa Airlines my first and only trip with them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE."

Once everyone was seated I was told plane was full and no seat left. When we arrived to N.Y. one of our suitcases did not arrived. It is now Sat. and still no suitcase. We contacted Copa and suitcase will be Fedex on sure when it will arrive"

It is important to stay hydrated on flights and the small cups of water delivered twice during the flight are not sufficient. No indication was given on tickets of what meals would be served. I ended up paying for a dinner in the airport only to be served a dinner at 12:30 am on the flight. It would make more sensed to have a light snack at that hour and a better breakfast served in the morning. The US Customs card handed to me was in Spanish only. An English option would have been good."

Priority Boarding had only one security check personnel (as oppose to the six people at regular boarding). This made the boarding process very slow. The airline should allocate personal to the priority boarding first and then move them to the regular boarding once priority boarding is complete."

Explanation was they had technical problems with original plane and they had to replace it with smaller one and everybody else used online checkin in last 48 hours...Everybody else used online checkin?! Is that the rule? Last 48 h of my trip in Peru i did not have internet access, but if it's the only way to get your seat, you paid for months in advance, then I would find some solution. At the end, staying persistent in our request,we were on the scheduled flight (some "miracle" happened and we got 2 seats, next to each other, as same as couple from counter next to us)"

Pros: "were rescheduled for the flight Lima La2800. Scheduled departure 8.40a.m. Delay 2 hours - aircraft maintenance problem!? Still sitting in the plane in Lima."
Cons: "Customer service was not friendly or helpful in any way shape or form. not concerned for its guests or empathetic. the only thing that came across was that they sincerely didn't care even to make the airline more $$ in selling an upgrade of seats!"
Pros: "The attention was good. The air attendants were quite nice. For booking my meals I had a problem with the Call center and they left me waiting for 15 minutes until I had to hang. But then I contacted the Facebook page and I received an immediate response so everything was Ok."
Cons: "The plane on the first flight was quite old and the entertainment console was obsolete. The plane for the return flight was a new one, vey nice but the seats were hard and very uncomfortable."
Pros: "I flew business on the new airplane the Dreamliner. The experience was overall good. Very comfy plane. Slept like a baby. The food was the only bad thing I skipped both meals as it tasted like airplane food or frozen food out of a box."
Cons: "Boarding process was a mess. Not a smooth process at all."
Pros: "Flight schedule, inflight service and food in couch was amazingly the best I had in a long time. The entertainment was delightful. The telephone service for questions, while in Peru, was terrible. My flight reservation number was changed and I needed to talk to someone. I had to call the States help line instead of the local number which had a non working automated answering menu."
Pros: "We were lucky enough to have a flight on a new plane. It was in good condition, clean, and had plenty of entertainment options. I was able to charge my phone and the meal was good. my favorite thing was that I was able to check a bag for free!!"

Cons: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Cons: "One crew member jacked my blanket and gave it to a different passenger. Also, my originally assigned window seat was reserved for cabin crew, so I was moved to an aisle seat that was narrower than my previous seat due to its in-armrest tray table."

Cons: "HORRIBLE pre flight, and in airport staff. Incompetent, zero clue as to handle a delayed flight forced every passenger to hand over passports into communal plastic bags and took them for 2 hours somewhere in the airport unknown to us. I should never have to give up my passport into plastic bags/strangers EVER. They lost my customs paper, and then proceeded to accuse me of "selling it"--They took it after I passed through customs initially and if they put it back in passport after they threw them all in plastic bags- god knows where it is, or who's hands it was in who may have took it. They would not give us food vouchers, or water. They couldn't figure out how to get buses and hotel rooms for people- basic simple business skills-- add number of passengers going to hotel, calculate number of seats per bus and that will get you the number of buses needed--- they couldn't figure that out. I will call and give more detail, I promise."
Pros: "The LATAN costumee service was very kind and professional."
Cons: "I went to Argentina to spend 4 days with my family, wich I didn't see for 2 years. I arrived to Mendoza. I wait until the last suitcase shows. Any of my suitcases arrived. I spent another hour making the complain. I had to come back to the airport in the evening and spent another hour for my baggages. Unfortunate i waist my first day in the airport and only spent 3 days with my family. Also the day that I had to return to USA the LATAN fly was late 1 and a half hour."

Pros: "While I had no problem on this flight, my dealings with Latam agents in phone and in person have been horrific. I had to purchase a new ticket and dealing with them was terrible - long hold times for simple questions, incorrect ticketing, lack of empathy or service attitude. Fly Aerolieas instead."

Cons: "I paid for the baby basket service but the airline only gave me the adult seat on the basket row, regardless that I was travelling with my wife. Due to that I had to ask the crew to help me to find a passenger willing to change seat with my wife so that she could travel next to my baby boy"

Cons: "To my knowledge, the passengers were not told that the plane would be delayed for another 2 hours because they had to get a new plane - 30 mins after the flight was supposed to board. It was ridiculous, then it took 15 mins for us to be able to get out the plane after we landed in Santiago. Overall, boarding was very disorganized and ruined my general schedule after arrival into the country."

Cons: "The seats were the smallest seats I've ever say in and I felt claustrophobic. Checking into this flight was a disaster and impossible. Tam would redirect me to Tam airlines and Lan would redirect me to Lan. The Lan customer service was unable to get into the Tam airlines flight so we emded up with the most awful chairs in the airline. I wish they would fix their website so checkin isn't as frustrating as it was for me. I understand the airlines merged but if each airline is unable to access eachothers flight then how exactly did you merge? ALSO when we got off the first flighy to connect in this one they gave us no explanation until 20min later to where we should commect to this flight. They MADE US WALK A 20min WALK TO ANOTHER TERMINAL WITH ALL OUR BAGS. It was awful. If your gonna need people to walk to another terminal the least you can do is supply a shuttle."

Cons: "The crudeness of some of the Air Hostesses was appalling. The food was unpalatable and no tolerance for people who were lactose intolerant. Narrow aisles, so going to the dirty toilets needed ingenuity!"

Cons: "I didn't have a wi-fi access in the plane, it would have been amazing and great to comunicate with family and friends that my flight was little delayed due to air traffic. The last thing I didn't like was the super delayed luggage delivery, because I had no energy to wait an appalling 40 minutes after a long flight."

Cons: "Uncomfortable spacing of seats on short flights a nightmare on long hauls. Have to assume the distance between seat and seatback ahead is now a safety issue should an emergency evac. be necessary. Had to argue over an imposed seat change despite holding a 2 hour old agent issued boarding pass. Gate agent plainly lied in claiming an equipment change was making it necessary. At start of trip (1/14), not allowed to board connection and suffered an additional 5hr. layover delay due to baggage transfer problem. No compensation of any type graciously offered for any of the inconveniences."
Pros: "A business class upgrade, lay flat bed, very comfortable. Overall wonderful, made me want to take this flight every time I travel to Chile for business."
Cons: "The flight attendants were not very attentive compared to other business class flights I've been on, especially Delta. Seemed a little rushed, felt as if I wasn't able to enjoy the business class amenities."

Cons: "Because I did not buy the ticket straight from Lan Airlines , Lan postpone my Fly too many days later. I had a meeting that I was supposed to go and I couldn't make it."
Pros: "We knew that this sector was operated by AA and we did not have high expectations. No complains, just ok"
Cons: "First the check in process at Santiago airport was two hours long. They were totally understaffed and I believe they were dealing with problems of overbooking flights. The last hour in line was spent while in the front of the line while people from the back were being called ahead to check in because they were on other flights even though those flights were hours away. Secondly I preichecked in online the day before, chose a window seat, and when I checked in at the airport I was assigned a seat that did not match what I had chosen, which was also next to my partner I was flying with. There was no explanation until the gate at which point they said they changed planes and randomly reshuffled everyone's seats, after a call to the airline the customer service representative could not explain why anyone would ever say they "randomly reshuffled." The plane was overbooked so they could not accommodate my request to sit next to my partner. Finally at no point was there a warning about bringing water bought in the airport onto the plane (after security) but only upon boarding did they take the water away, some notice would have been helpful and saved a bunch of waste and money."

Pros: "The airplanes are spacious and comfortable, flying coach in overnight flights is not a torture as it is with other airlines. They serve two meals with silverware, blankets and pillows and headsets for everyone. In flight entertainment is really good! Also my flight from Lima was 3 hours delayed and the airline paid for lunch to all the passengers! Now that is excellent customer service!"
