One thing I liked was that the plane wasn't full, which of course makes everyone more comfortable as there is more available space. I had an exit row seat with extra leg room. I had all 3 seats which meant a very comfortable and relaxed trip. The flight attendants were all male strangely, and they were more friendly than the normal female staff. The older attendant that served our area was very nice.

The bathroom had no water, and a bag of wipes to use after using the bathroom. Little gross, only air came out of the faucet. Not sure if maybe they don't take on water when in the US. Flight also left late as it arrived late.

Okay 5.3

I am happy that Air Canada is unionized; the personnel are fine. I also like the tvs on the backs of the seats, with their wide range of shows. Particularly, I like Portlandia, though there was only one episode of that.

I would not take Air Canada from YWG to the States ever again. It's not the right airline for that trip. AC doesn't offer any direct flights, as far as I can tell, between the small-market Prairie province and the US, and I had to go through security with my checked luggage twice (Canadian & American) each way. These factors leave open infinite possibilities for missing connections and enduring unexpected and grieviously long travel days. To go to Miami, for example, is a trip that took my Minneapolis sister $200 RT + a total of 6 travel hours. For me, from Winnipeg, it took $700 and (unexpectedly) 2 full days, into the wee hours, of flying (I missed a connection because my first flight was delayed, putatively because they switched the gate and wanted to wait for confused passengers, but also something, the pilot said, about maintenance and documents). AC's not especially affordable, even though oil prices are low--I expect because the Canadian dollar is so low. And finally, AC does not compensate for its uncompetitiveness by being any more accommodating of middle class holiday consumers than any other airline business model today. If they treated consumers with the humanity they used to 15 years ago, there might be some reason to endure the costs. As is, there's just no reason to take Air Canada to the US ever.

Our flight from Toronto to Houston was cancelled. The staff at the arrival counter was very slow and rude. We wanted to leave by the United flight which was leaving in an hour or so but the supervisor was not willing to do anything. We ordered Asian vegetarian food and it was horrible. Never again Air Canada.

Absolutely nothing to like . Bad service all around. I will never fly AC again

Terrible employees in Miami. Rude and unhelpful. Delay due to late arrival. Then diverted to Toronto because of AUR CANADA'S STUPIDITY. Had to "sleep" in airport. Delayed leaving Toronto next day. Baggage lost. Lost day at work. A general NIGHTMARE FROM START TO FINISH

NOTHING !! I lost my flight because in the email I received you all put the wrong airline on it and nobody took responsability for it . I ended up paying $311.00 to get the next flight back to Austin .

In the email it was stated that my first flight was with British Airways, so i wasted time making the wrong line . Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with .

Decent boarding group, same snacks, same flight attendants (who were very nice)

My only gripe is that paying for an assigned seat is only allowed 48 hours before takeoff and costs at least $30, twice what Spirit charges to allow you to select a seat during booking, so it is worse. No one watched us to ensure that we didn’t use the overhead bins (a stipulation of the fare) but we did comply anyway. We chose to take our chances and were assigned seats at the gate 16 rows apart and both in the middle seat.

The flight was so short we did not even get a snack, only an offer of a bottle of water; this was simply due to to short length of the flight. Basic economy had my wife and I 16 rows apart each in a middle seat. I was in the very last seat on the plane. Flight attendants were attentive and surprisingly very nice, legroom is non-existent (same as every flight in plain coach).

High cost to prebook seats was twice what Spirit or Frontier would charge

We were unfortunately stuck on the tarmac for 45 minutes. I ran to my connecting gate but they had already closed it. There wasn’t a service rep at the gate. I walked to another gate and there was a very helpful rep who rebooked me to a nearby city. It overall was disappointing and caused me to get home about 3 1/2 hours later.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
