My flight was canceled by jetblue which rebooked my flight. the ticketing agency spent more than 12 hours trying to contact LIAT with no avail, 10 of those 12 hours I have been waiting for help. LIAT can't accomodate and rebook my flight for the funeral I am supposed to be going to tomorrow, they received payment for my flight and refuse to refund my money so that i can make other arrangements"
Pros: "I loved that the pilot on my first flight introduced himself and staff to the customers prior to loading the plane. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The leg-room! The leg room was a great surprise. No hassle with bags. Great snacks, wi-fi and movies for FREE! I was so tickled. I've never flown JetBlue. I thought it was just another low-cost airline that makes you pay for everything , what a nice surprise! I immediately gave you a shout-out on my facebook account. Best flight experience I've had in a long time. Thank you."

I have flown hundreds of times and have zero fear of flying. Today, I was terrified that the power would shut off mid-flight at any moment. I truly wish we'd been given another plane...i know that's tough. But something along those lines would have been better than stepping back on the one that shut down with all of us in it...after waiting for hours for it to be repaired. I do appreciate the $150 coupon though."

Allegedly it took over three hours."

I feel a four hour flight is sufficiently long enough to provide people some space to relax. Landed at YVR, went to WJ to find out about luggage. Told me I have to get a hold of Qantas. They had nothing to do with it. Went to Qantas was sent to a place that was closed. Two days later got a call from WJ asking why I didn't pick up my luggage. I told him the story. He kept saying why didn't I go to them. Because I was told it was Qantases fault. Got luggage 2 days later, damaged. I'm thinking maybe the case fell off the conveyor belt while loading in Melbourne ."

This caused a lot of passengers connection flights delayed and rebooked to another flight later on that day. No apologies or compensation of time wasted was given. Food vouchers would have been nice. The new boarding passes provided also pushed most of us passengers back to the last seats at the back of the plane.. which was a very uncomfortable experience."

They supposedly have an app to send you alerts about your flight - doesn't work - re-installed twice, and got the same can't connect message on different days (my phone was on a gig network wifi)."

Unable to deplane down them with both purse and small carryon. Someone always has to help me carry my carryon plus theirs as there is no provision for help from the airline. American seems to be only airline to do this, I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future."

Cons: "The overhead space was smaller on this plane and as I learned on my trip to DTW my weekender carry-on would not fit with my shoes in it. Because of this, I pulled my shoes out and put them in a collapsible bag that fit under the seat in front of me along with my small personal bag as I had done on my previous flight. However, the gate agent would not allow me to board the plane and would not listen to my explainations at all as I tried to keep the boarding process moving along. She kept repeating "you have 3 bags" and made me steep out of line and check my carry-on (which I would then have to pick up at baggage claim). When I asked why I couldn't get out on the jetway like she had done for other passengers she said, " I only did that for airline employees" (quick happened to be a flight attendant from Spirit). My overall experience on both flights to and from Detroit was that the gate agents and flight attendants were the most unhelpful and rude airline employees I have delt with and I will stick to my preferred carrier, Delta, for my future flights back and forth to Detroit. They certainly make me feel like a valued customer when I fly them, which I did not feel with American."

Boarding was awful made me check small carry on when there was several open over-head compartments and several others were walking in with two + carry ons. How do you explain that? I will NEVER fly American Airlines again. The airplane from Dallas to Tampa was ancient, a little scary to even think it was still in the air. The air conditioning was minimal I could hear other passengers complaining it was extremely uncomfortable."

The weather was fine in both new york and toronto those days, and other toronto flights left on time. we ended up being delayed 6 hours in the airport, and other flights still went out ahead of us. furthermore, because our flight was delayed, they didn't seem to prepare for the new departure time, and we were held up for almost an hour on the runway before being able to take off, and almost 30 minutes on the runway once we landed too. better planning and customer service needs to be required in these situations."
Cons: "Our flight got canceled 12 hours before we were supposed to take off. They postponed our flight 24 hours. It took forever to change it so that we still arrived at our destination on the same day. I'm glad I checked my email before going to bed because otherwise I would have shown up to the airport not knowing my flight was canceled. That should not have happened. It almost ruined my trip."

Cons: "When someone has a terrible experience with a single individual it's just an anomaly. When it came to our experience it's easy to see that it's systemic and come from the top down in that company. The lack of customer service training is apparent. It was rampant and the overall feeling was just plain rudeness exuding from every team member. I'll never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "Flight canceled due to mechanical problems. Out of 4 agents at desk at airport only one knew what to do in case of a cancellation. They all stood around eating raisinettes! Unprofessional, lack of training, lack of planning (why wasn't another plane sent). One agent was going through the line giving out a phone number to call? Why weren't they trained? I called and thankful I was up at the desk so I could tell the agent what to do from the lady on the phone! Lost a day on our already short Christmas visit with family. Would love a refund!"

Cons: "Entertainment options very poor considering it is a 5 hr flight. Hadn't realized that they actually made planes without a seat back screen these days! Too many people allowed to bring too much hand luggage on board. Significantly delayed the process of getting people seated. Also, anxiety levels of passengers increases when they start to realize they will have nowhere to put their luggage. Not the perfect start to any flight."
Pros: "Hard to find positive when your knees are hard pressed to metal bracket of the seat in front of you. They should be ashamed squeezing that many seats in to make an extra buck. Shame on you Air Canada."
Cons: "There is zero legroom in the seats! At 6'3" my knees literally jammed the seat in front of me. Sad to see profit has created the need for this much discomfort."
Cons: "I needed to sleep ( it was 1:00 am in the city I originated from) and in the smaller plane the seats barely reclined and it was hard to get comfortable, let alone sleep."
Cons: "Worse pizza ever! A 5 hour flight with not even a free snack. Shame on Air Canada. You should fly KLM or Air France to learn what food should be like on an airline, and customer service. Within Europe or overseas, no charge for great food, free alcohol and smiling staff."

There was no attendant at the desk until 1.45 hours prior to boarding. We almost missed the flight, and as a result, the connection to London. If possible, I will not fly air Canada again"
Pros: "The flight from DC to Toronto was late around four hours and after we got on the plane We went back and we were waiting at the airport while get more fuel and which repaired the fault on the plane. so I was late for my next flight to FrankfurtSo I was put on a flight to Frankfurt with a connection in Lisbon.In the end, my suitcase was lost and I got it only two days later. Never I will no longer use AirCanada small planes !"
Pros: "The flight itself was fine- comfortable with nice amenities and a professional staff."
Cons: "My first flight was late then cancelled, then replaced by another. That one was late too and made me miss my connecting flight. I had to spend the night stuck in the Toronto airport with nowhere to safely sleep and my late arrival meant the entire first day of my long planned vacation was ruined. I was supposed to get to my destination around 10 in the morning, instead I arrived around one in the morning the next day. All I got from Air Canada for this trouble was a $10 meal voucher for airport restaurants that cost $25 and were closed during my stay."

The staff provided updates periodically but it would be better if the issue could be prevented before boarding. Although it's not expected, I was pretty happy the seat on my left was empty on first plane. On the sub plane they arranged an overweighted guy on my left which made the delay worse as he threw off the strong smell of curry."

Cons: "BOARDED LATE AND IN GATES VERY FAR FROM CHECKING. The (solitary) crew member did not speak French. Everything she said in French was unintelligible- very offensive (and disturbing) for Francophone passengers such as myself. And for a Canadian carrier- This shows no respect for our pluralism. When we book online and try to pick priority seating, then find out that the plane is so small that the 9th row means 9 out of 12 or something, this feels like a con. Especially when we pay extra. Stop making people pay for seats that don't get them any priority boarding (Zone 3!) and offer no real advantage."

It also doesn't help that the flight was late arriving and unboarding so that it could be reboard by new customers and updates were unhelpful and useless when attached to the plea for someone to give up their seats. 0 out of 5 stars...would NOT recommend."

Cons: "I got bumped. Even though, I made my flight on time AND had chosen my seat over a month ago, air Canada decided to bump me from my international flight. I was able to get a seat but not the seat I would have chosen (I'm six foot, I can't sit by the window). Since it was so crowded, I couldn't stretch my legs or use the loo. Finally I PAID for the seat I was bumped from; no one can tell me when I'll get reimbursed."
