Cons: Our flight was delayed for over 2 hours. No explanation except it was being towed to the gate that took over an hour. Then the pilot came on to explain it was an issue with the potable water system. They didn’t have enough breakfast sandwiches ran out before row 16.

Cons: We weren’t served drinks until nearly 2 hours in. They kept making announcements saying “it’s really turbulent and not safe” but I’ve flown a lot and we barely had any turbulence the entire flight and at no point was it unsafe. When it was calm they were hanging out and taking in the back.
Pros: Crew was pleasant and very polite. I like that one carry on was included in my ticket. Enough leg room. Love the free in flight movies! Glad I didn’t have to purchase a beverage either.
Cons: I will never understand the way boarding works. Did going from window groups, middle seat groups to aisle seat groups not work? I hate having to squeeze through and hope I don’t knock anyone in the face with my bag. I don’t like I can’t pick my seat and that my seatbelt is a little too tight. If I get a seat in the back I’m waiting for everyone else to get on and then for them to get off the plane. I guess I’ll have to pay the $75 fee for “first class” next time since that’s the only way to update my seat. And if I have a “saver rate” ticket - I should be able to still change my flight within 24 hours. I wanted to come back a day earlier and it was the same price! But I would’ve had to cancel and repurchase for an additional $200!!!
Pros: This was our first trip to Hawaii on Alaska and we were very happy with the experience. Plane on time, lots of overhead space, crew very pleasant and helpful. We fly to Hawaii at least four times a year and will be switching to Alaska as our preferred carrier.

Leave that one out on the tarmac or what??? Doesn't matter what "AGREMENT" Alaska Air has with any airlines. Make you go through TSA again and there isn't enough time to catch a flight 60 minutes later. Much less get bags and check in again. I"m look for a different air carrier. Alaska Air is a mediocre airline and it's okay for them. That landing included a few bounces. The pilot came over the com talking about a great landing. I'd hate to see one of his bad landings.

You have to pay for leg room. Otherwise your knees are in the back of the seat in front of you. Food? What food? They offered trail mix. You have to buy the cheese platter. After buying the leg room upgrade. forget it. Entertainment? What entertainment? You have to buy the entertainment player. Seriously? After Alaska Airlines nickel and dimes the customer to death they landed on one set of wheels, then bounced two more times.

Again I find all airlines that do this insulting. One bag should be included in our flight. How many people fly without any. That is one reason I often fly southwest.

Cons: The flight attendants on board the plane were amazing and I'm sure equally as frustrated as the passengers. The gates were mixed up at the airport. We were told we had to move gates and would be delayed one hour. One hour turned into two and just before noon they told us to rush boarding. If we didn't take off by noon the pilots would time out. They timed out and we had to deplane. Alaskan was not telling us very much information and we were again delayed until 2:15. We started boarding at about 1:35 and we sat on the plane until well after 2:15. Apparently there were mechanical issues and again we had to deplane. We, as were all of the other passengers, were extremely upset. They couldn't tell us what was going to happen. A supervisor came out and basically said I can refund you, you can rebook, or you can wait it out. There were limited spaces on flights for the next day. Finally, at 4:30, they boarded us again and took off at 5. The whole experience was extremely upsetting. Overall, we were delayed 7 and a half hours. We missed a whole day of vacation and lost money, with very little remorse or compensation from Alaskan airlines.
Pros: We were treated with respect and kindness throughout the flight. There were 5 of us traveling together, two being 7 year olds, and they enjoyed watching movies and playing games to pass the time.

Cons: I arrived an hour before my flight- after boarding began they closed the doors to reboot the engines and try and "fix" a problem with the landing gear. The flight kept being delayed with no explanation of whether or not it would even fly. We were told missed connections would be dealt with but they weren't. It ended up two hours late, had I known I would have gone to eat somewhere and avoided the terrible egg mushroom thing served on the flight. After landing , many were left with no idea how to get to their destinations and no recourse. The crew was great in the flight, though. Whoever maintains your aircraft should make sure problematic aircraft not be used to transport tens of thousands of your dollars. Very disappointing, considering this was my first flight with Hawaiian, I had heard they were the best. Noteworthy though, that my trip TO Portland with your airline was top notch. The return, however , leaves me with a bad taste and I don't think I will choose it again
Cons: For a six-hour flight on a non-budget airline, a breakfast sandwich and some small cookies did not make for a good in-flight meal. With the exception of the male chief flight attendant, who was very personable, I found that the rest of the flight attendants were indifferent to their passengers. On a good note: the chief CSA at PHX was an outstanding individual who made all passengers feel welcome on his airline as they waited to board the aircraft bound for Honolulu. Very rare to see that these days!

The Hawaiian music and informative video are lovely touches. 1) I do NOT appreciate the $25 charge for luggage. Southwest does not charge for checked bags, and they are thriving. I think it's greedy to charge for luggage. 2) I wish they'd offer a meatless option when serving meals. So many people are plant-based now and I wish HA offered that to patrons. 3) Movies and TV in-flight should be free, as in...gratis. Other carriers offer free in-flight entertainment and HA should not charge. 4) The planes are nice, the crew is FABULOUS; truly a standout in the industry. They have that beautiful Aloha spirit.
Cons: While they say it has entertainment unit they don’t tell you that you have to pay for it and you have to purchase ear phones as well. Had seat 43E it doesn’t recline, pocket at back of seat broken, delayed 2hrs due to faulty PA system and compensation was a free punch cocktail.

Cons: Paid for comfort upgraded seat and the woman next to me was large and over flowing into my seat and had a baby in her lap. The flight was full so seats couldn’t be changed. Flight attendant seemed to not care and did nothing to alleviate my concerns. For 6 hours, the other persons body was touching mine and I couldn’t recline. Why upgrade?! Picking up check in baggage was a pain since you have to wait for a shuttle to bring you to the baggage claim area, this doesn’t have to be done with other airlines apparently. Bring your own entertainment and food. I wish I’ve known all this before booking with Hawaiian. It was my first time and will be my last time booking with them.
Cons: We purchased tickets to Maui months in advance. We chose our seats. The morning before our flight we printed boarding passes and paid for check bags. That night, approximately 12 hours before take off I received a notice from Google stating the flight hand been cancelled. To this day I have never received any communication from the airline stating the flight was cancelled. I called Hawaiian and asked about the cancellation. After waiting for the customer service person to find out what the status was, she simply said there was scheduling issues. The best she could offer was a flight the next day. We lost a whole day of our vacation and lost a significant mount of money. Hawaiian offered no compensation and did not seem at all apologetic for canceling an entire flight at the last minute for "scheduling issues." We will do our best never to fly Hawaiian again. They clearly do not value their customers.

Cons: Most movies were “paid” selections so I didn’t even bother, seats were very narrow even for a shinny person like myself. It seems that they installed more row of seats than much needed restrooms. They only had two in the back, only two in the middle of the economy section, I don’t know about the coach class and the first class cabin but as far as the economy class that was it, and that’s terrible. That is less than a half restrooms normally available on other carrier I’ve known. They should learn from ANA or Canada Air. The cabin temperature seems to be rather cold throughout the flight, yet there was no pillow (only paid one) nor blanket available.

Cons: My trip on Hawaiian was an experience. The 8 hour delay on the inbound to Lanai was uncalled for - without notification of when it would depart, we chartered a flight and paid an extra 500 to get to our meeting on time. Given our bags were checked, we didn’t cancel the flight as we needed our clothes delivered to Lanai. The night before the outbound flight was to depart, I received notice that our flight was canceled. The cancellation was due to a no show in Lanai-though I did arrive in HNL. No call - no text - just an email stating it was canceled. When calling to rebook, we were told it would be a 500 rebooking fee, which, after two hours on the phone, you waived. However I was not able to select my seats until I arrived back for my layover on HNL - and therefore the seats were not what we had selected to begin with. Highly unfortunate and unsatisfactory experience.

Cons: Online check-in was a disaster, HA’s web site is not easy to navigate. Some how KAYAK messed up the data transfer and our first and middle names were joined together. HA”s web site will not allow the user to charge personal information within 24 hours of travel. Check-in for overseas travel requires passport information, if it does not match your HA profile then you cannot pre-check-in. Calling HA support was no help. Even airport agents could not fix the issue they could at least over ride the information.

Cons: Hawaiian Airlines Customer service from the bottom of the food chain up was the worst CD experience i have ever had. I had an issue and needed to get on of the reservations cancelled and get a voucher. I purchased 4 tickets but since one was in another persons name i had no jurisdiction over it according to them. They kept putting me on the line with different people in another country who had zero CS skills. Then they kept telling me that my reason doesn’t matter and that they had guidelines. And it was a pre written script because they all said the same thing. When the manager called me they basically made me feel an inch tall. Then when corporate (Hawaiian airlines) called me they told me the same thing. Basically held me hostage for my money and then sold my seat to someone else.

Cons: Switching from Alaskan Air to Hawaiian Air in San Diego is near impossible. I got off at 9:25am and had to run out of the airport and down to another terminal, go through security again and run to gate 51 from gate 10. It is near impossible for someone who can’t sprint. I was the last one to board. Lost my window seat and luggage didn’t make it. In Honolulu I found out luggage hasn’t made it for at least three other couples flying out of BWI with these connections. This combo should not be offered when people select flights.

Cons: This was by far one of the oldest planes I have been on in several years. Gawain is known for their entertainment, but this planes had only shared screens and our radio/sound was not working including the lights and call buttons. Upon reporting this to a flight attendant, I was told they would return to work on it, but it wasn't until I reported it again that another attendant worked with us to (unsuccessfully) attempt to restart the system. In the end we just had no entertainment for the flight.
Pros: The staff were above and beyond. Organized, on-time boarding. The pilots were great. The seats were nice. The tropical beverage offered was lovely. We had a toddler on board a few rows up who either screeched or cried the whole time, as in 5 of the almost 6 hour flight. A REMINDER TO BRING YOUR EARPLUGS. The parents did their best, and at one point I was in the aisle with mom and baby during some turbulence and the child got sick. I let the attendant who was serving drinks know about the situation and he didn't miss a beat and helped mom and baby recover, and got the area cleaned up. It might not sound like much but it was the above and beyond that most people don't realize flight attendants take care of routinely. I appreciated that.
Cons: The sugary breakfast. I was so surprised that literally nothing in the breakfast did not contain lots of sugar. The bread was inedibly sweet, the nonfat yogurt was overly sweet and had a weird chemical taste. Please at least low fat. Grapes, one of the highest sugar fruits, were the only thing I was able to eat. Please consider offering low/no sugar breakfast options, and wheat free options. I would have loved a hard boiled egg and some cheese and fruit. Couldn't really figure out the entertainment screen. Couldn't get the movies to load. I wasn't that interested in the screen but others might be. Tip: the jack is in the armrest.

Cons: When I checked in i asked the agent to help me board early since I was carrying a fragile musical instrument. She said check back later. I had no seat assigned and was told I would be seated after all families were taken care of. I waited and waited and finally when everyone was boarded, I checked one last time because I was the only person left in the waiting area and the gate agent totally forgot about me. So she assigned me to a seat that had a wall in front of it and no storage space in the seat in front of me. I was livid. Thankfully I didn’t have to check the instrument but the hassle was a nightmare I really wanted to avoid.
Pros: Food was not great but it is always nice to have a hot meal provided on the flight and I also appreciated the Maui Brewing beer they offer during beverage service.
Cons: I was seated in the back row and found it difficult to rest/relax on this overnight flight from Auckland to Honolulu because the flight crew was in the back socializing very loudly to the point where it was unprofessional. I could tell that I was no the only guest annoyed by the noise.It was very inconsiderate and unprofessional to behave this way while on the job especially during the announcements that I couldn ot understand because of the talking behind me. I fly Hawaiian Airlines often and have never had this type of issue. I was surprised that none of the other crew members said anything to the noisy group of hosts/hostesses.

Cons: I didn’t have a seat when I got to the gate. I tried to do a web check in early but got an error sayin could not Confirm my seat. I got a window seat when I bought the tickets and for some reason those were lost and I got a middle seat. No explanation from the front desk nor the gate. Just told I have to wait until they call you. Again no explanation why our seats got moved. Loud noises the whole plane ride while fligh attendants works in galley. No way to sleep on the 7.5 hr flight.

I got it as a gift for her, and now were both in our apartment in orange doing nothing, when we are suppose to be arriving to hawai for the first time ever. So upset, and sad and bummed. What a let down. 41 min before our flight and there was nothing anyone could have done. I was on your site for over an hour checking all the guidelines about bags, carry ons, where we need to be and i didn't check in time at all. I just can believe this, a hotel room paid will be empty, and well be here waiting until tomorrow so we could repeat the same thing this morning. waking up at 530 a, heading to LAX in traffic from orange . why.

Cons: So military gets 2 bags comp, but you have to charge them and have then find a gate attendant to reverse the charges, this is highly inefficient. Also in LAS they don't not open the Ticketing area until 2 hours before the flight, this caused a line and a crush when the gates did open. I mean we are told to arrive early to clear security but that is negated when we have to wait and hour just to get checked in and check our bags. Once again this was a highly enjoyable experience, which make these two ares stand out that much more.

Cons: The complementary food was garbage. I am not asking for a 5 star meal from Roy's; I am asking that the food be somewhat edible. The paid snack options were few and there we no healthier choices. You have to pay for all of films, games, and movies. No WiFi on the plane. The display had issues when I tried to turn it off - it would randomly come on. The volume for the "advertisements" were ridiculously louder. In fact, they were louder than the safety announcements from the staff! Gotta pay $25 for a checked bag.

Pros: My experience boarding was a bit of a disaster as the boards at the airport stated an incorrect gate and reported an hour delay which was not correct. I ended up having to sprint to make the flight in a different wing an hour before I thought it was leaving. I barely made it onboard. I think this is an issue with the airport, not the airline but this is the only forum I have to state this. My experience with the crew was amazing. Very welcoming and hospitable. My experience with the airport staff was the opposite. Very unhelpful and cold. The flight went fairly smoothly, but, as is the case with most American airlines these days, the seats are uncomfortable and cramped. The inflight meal was good (for airline food) and very much appreciated on the 6 hour flight. Overall, this was a pretty typical American flying experience. Unfortunately, I was returning from flying with Asian and Australian airlines which were much more comfortable and customer-focused, so my experience on Hawaiian seemed subpar.
Pros: Flight attendants were pleasant. Other than that the plane was packed and the bathrooms got dirty very quickly. Food was terrible! When I booked the flight, tried to find special diet options but were not available. Flight attendant told another passenger that they don't offer special meals.
Pros: The planes were on time on all flights. The boarding process was orderly and efficient.
Cons: We had reserved specific seats well in advance, but they were changed without our knowing.
Pros: Hawaiian Airlines consistently deliver top-quality service for economy class. The flights are more comfortable than the average, the crew is always very pleasant. I also appreciate that they make an effort to be eco-friendlier.
Cons: I wish they had bigger range of food option. The entertainment system is not that broad but I don't mind, I can entertain myself on a flight.
Pros: The statistics of where we were and when to arrive on the screen. Flight crew was nice.
Cons: The flight changed from Alaska to Hawaiian airlines in San Diego. They were in different terminals way to close in time to each other. We had to leave security and go back through tsa to get to the connecting flight and missed boarding. We got to the gate at 10:05 with a flight of 10:15. They knew we were coming but still have our seats away. They told us that they couldn't delay the flight and let us on the plane. We had to wait 24 hours for the next flight with no way to get anywhere and no hotel. We slept in the airport and had to go through security again just to get to our flight. Once we boarded and were seated the gangway moved away from the plane. We waited and then the gangway came back to the plane and 4 passengers were taken off the flight. How can they delay the flight to take people off but not to let us on the plane the previous day?! My mother was born in Hawaii and our family was going to get birth place where she lived and I missed that opportunity because they wouldn't let us board because it would delay the flight. It would have delayed a 6 hour fligh for 10 minutes. Our luggage made it on the flight but we didn't. I'm extremely disappointed in the way it was handled by the ticket counter agents.
Pros: The crew were wonderful and the captain made a landing so perfect we didn't know we had landed!

Pros: TSA is rediculous and affects how people interact with your customer servce. Your customer service in Honolulu needs a lot of work. Pointing people to a single counter person to obtain a seat on a plane after the person has already been on a 9 hour Hawaiian flight is beyond disrespectful. It is cruel. It was close to a couple of months that I had purchased the ticket and I get on the Plane in Auckland only to find I would need to process through TSA yet another time in order to get to the counter and obtain my seat. 3 hours in a TSA line allowed 20 minutes to get to that counter. I also needed to find a private space to give myself my insulin. I do not do that in public bathrooms or even my own bathroom..... but it never happened because I stood in Customs line and then Imigration line and yet again the third TSA line. I think TSA held up over 200 of us because they went to lunch. He were stopped still with absolutely no progress for over an hour.
Cons: You and all the other airlines need to work together and improve TSA. The counter person at Hawaiian in Honolulu was unprofessional and capricious. She preferred to service a huge dog rather than myself, even though it was my turn . She also answered a male who cut in line rather than the person next in line. She did not know what was available and did not show any compassion for international travelers. We were treated as cattle.

Pros: Boarded plane back to front once Priority members boarded. Overall staff and Pilots were great. A quick flight of 75 minutes. Tea, coffee or water provided along with a small snack. Smooth flight and only minor delays which were handled in a timely manner.

Pros: Delta is the airline to fly if you have to fly (like I did) during a pandemic. They made sure at every turn we felt as safe as possible. They had passengers distanced from each other the whole time, handed out sanitizing wipes as we walked on the plane, made sure folks kept their masks on, gave us individual little baggies with snacks and water bottles that also had individual hand sanitizer packets. I felt so much more safe flying Delta on my way home to Hawaii in July than I did when I flew American Airlines on my way to the mainland in June.

Pros: The flight was very good in both directions. I was quite comfortable. On my return flight I left my e-reader on the plane. I didn't realize it until 2 days later. I called Delta and spoke with Tiffany. She was so helpful. She located my e-reader and I was able to go to the airport and pick it up.

Pros: There were minimal passengers on the flight so I was able to have the entire row to myself. The flight was also very short which is always nice.
Pros: The inflight entertainment options were nice, I enjoyed the flight status option, and the USB port was very helpful.
Cons: Three hour delay due to wiring issues, cramped seating that made it impossible to get even the most basic of maps, and our flight attendant was upset that we didn't notify them that we were vegans in advance. We didn't know that they had vegan options, and weren't upset about not eating the in-flight meals. She was much more upset about it than we were and it made me uncomfortable refusing the food that I knew I couldn't eat. Other passengers even asked us if we had eaten anything. It was almost embarrassing.

Cons: I usually fly delta and have a great experience - unfortunately my flight from Detroit to Seattle was not. To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. Pros: Flew premium economy/delta comfort + and was a great flying experience. A taste of business without the $3000+ ticket price. Food was excellent, a huge step above economy. Extra comfort with wider seats. And priority boarding as well. This was more like premium economy that you get with European airlines. For long haul flights, well worth the cost. Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai.
Cons: 2-hour delay causes me to almost miss my connection. I know some passengers had to be transferred to different flights which they almost missed.
Pros: The Delta Help Desk at the airport was actually pretty helpful for the times I had to use them.
Cons: Flight was delayed....3 times(more?) from late at night to early morning the next day. Delta Help Desk rescheduled me and got me a room at Howard Johnson’s for the night. Called HoJo’s to confirm they had non-smoking rooms available. Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there.

Pros: Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears.
Cons: When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline.

I paid for an upgrade for row 9 - and was unfortunately seated next to a very large man, which meant that there was no escaping the fact that our arms or legs touched. Obviously an older plane, because there were no outlets (again, paid for upgraded seats). Previous flight was WAY better and I was in the regular seat.

Cons: This was my return trip with more delays due to maintenance issues of the aircraft. 10/17/16 flight 1585 was the outgoing flight delayed five hours on my departing trip. I waited at the baggage carousel 15 minutes for my bag after over an hour delay due to switching aircrafts. With a flight arriving this late in the evening with the low volume of bags checked (due to checked luggage charges), this should not be the case. Five minutes to gulp down ginger ale.
Pros: Free military upgrade was awesome. Thank you AA. In flight entertainment was good because it was free. And thank you for the USB outlet, now if you could just do that for ALL domestic flights i would never fly anything other than AA. Also, my connection was late and AA held the flight for me and 11 others to our final destination to Honolulu. Thank you American Airlines.

After I landed, they suppose to return my stroller set at the airplane gate. But they said it is not there, ask us to wait at the airport gate. We walked outside and they broadcasted again, I didn't hear very clearly but followed most parents to walk out. We wait at the baggage claim for almost 1 hour and finally, the baggage crew came back to the gate and found our stroller.

Not enough to substitute for a meal. My biggest complaint however is with 3 hours left of the flight, i turned on the call button to request a beverage and nobody came. I waited 45 minutes, having to turn on the light 3 separate time because it automatically must have timed out. I couldn't get out of my seat due to seat belt sign. I looked back into the rear galley and 5 attendants were back there talking. Tried to get their attention. Nothing. Finally, I got up and went to get my own drinks. Being a server at hotel in waikiki, I understand that customer service is very important. And though I understand that they may have been busy and unable to answer my call, I could see that clearly was not the problem. They were just standing there and chatting. Very frustrating. Though they were friendly, they just simply weren't paying attention. I have to say in all honesty, I will not be recommending nor flying United airlines again.

Anyway, lots of people who boarded towards the end weren't able to store any carryon luggage. And as I listened to the crew talk to them, they weren't very nice about it. Sounded as if they were saying it's the passengers fault. We are allowed 1 carryon and 1 personal bag. For any flight that is longer than 3 hours, I believe the airlines should at least allow passengers to have 1 free check in. Then maybe we wouldn't be trying to carry everything on with us. Our flight to Hawaii wasn't very comfortable either. We had purchased economy plus but it didn't seem all that comfortable. Maybe because it was a smaller plane. I think it was a 737, not really sure but it had 3 seats on each side with no middle row. Food is for purchase! Outrageous.

Cons: I didn’t like the fact that United Airlines took time away from us. Because she’s military I don’t get to see her as often as I’d like. I booked my trip from October 5-16 2017 and our vacation together won’t start until a day later. Some may say it’s only a day but I say different and I should be compensated for my loss as well as so many other people that were traveling with me. My overall experience with this airline was horrible! I won’t say I’d never use them again because you never say never BUT they will be my last resort!

Cons: The guy puked halfway through the flt and not one single flt attendant came even though they were serving drinks repeatedly to the dr sitting in the row in front of me. Also the flt was delayed as we waited almost an hour for people trying to connect which made me more upset since I was rebooked on that later flt because although my previous flt was there half hour before departure, we didn't have a gate to use which caused me to be 15 mins late for my original flt. Did they wait for me?! NO! I was rebooked. It's unfair that they stole an hour of life from every other passenger to accommodate a few. Back to the guy who puked, an hour after that he started shaking and grabbing his head and asking me why am I hurting his heart. Then incoherent blathering and then his last episode 20 minutes before we land in which he started hitting himself in the head saying he would die right now for his wife and how he's made mistakes. It was three separate incidents from this one passenger and not one flt attendant noticed? Yeah it was bad piled on worse stacked on top of never United ever again.

Cons: Original seating for my spouse and I was 20 rows apart, then wanted to charge me $244 to be seated together. Crew ran out of food when they got to us in the 50th row on an 8 hour flight. Some crew members attitude were not very friendly.

Cons: 5 minutes before we boarded they tried to change my seat without informing me.... luckily it popped up on my phone that my seat had changed I reserved an aisle seat when I made my reservations five days before the flight. All of a sudden they put me in the middle seat ...so I went to the counter and the person at the counter tried to tell me that I just changed to the aisle seat that I had which I actually have had for 5 days and she tried to tell me that I was lying to her I was not very pleased with United at all!!! I made it very clear and even showed her the email from 5 days ago where I had that seats all along the aisle seat that she took away from me and put me in the middle somewhere so three minutes later she told me to look at my phone and she changed me back but that's after she basically called me a liar and said I didn't know what I was talking about!! Worst US AIRLINE!!
Pros: I got offered to upgrade to first for only a $100 more. Love to fly first on United again!
Cons: That the plane was a little bit older.
Cons: Crew members were not friendly. There was no in-flight entertainment available, and no snacks that were complimentary.

Cons: It seemed that there was a lack of preparedness before taking off from each stop.
Pros: The crew was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Water and drinks were offered regularly. For those who had the app there was inflight entertainment. We paid for plus size seats and had enough leg room.
Cons: I believe that on the long flights built in entertainment screens should be standard. Most people did not have the app and many spent 8.5 hours without anything to do. Food is not offered on this long flight unless you pay for it. You must walk to the very back of the plane where the food is in warmers. I got a hamburger and it was a bit dried out. Could have been worse...just hard to handle since tomato, lettuce and condiments were on the side. A larger person sat next to me and took use of the armrest between us which made me feel like I lost 4 inches of my personal space.
Pros: Non-stop flight. We had an early arrival!

Cons: I have NEVER flown on an international flight and NOT received a complimentary meal or two...When I'm flying for 8 hours. On top of that the seats were very small and uncomfortable. I shouldn't feel a person grabbing a magazine or pulling down a tray when I'm sitting in the seat in front of them. There was one younger African American flight attendant with a light brown, long curl wig that didn't look like she wanted to be there. You can tell by all her eye rolls, sighs and not responding back to numerous thank yous given to her. I couldn't consistently watch a show or movie for 3 minutes thanks to the wifi and or app on MY Samsung tablet....it's SO sad that you guys couldn't have them already installed like other airlines. This airline is already in hot water, I expected MUCH better customer service. I will do my best NOT to use them again and tell others to do the same.

Pros: The flight attendants were friendly for the most part.
Cons: On both flghts we requested a bassinet for our 3 month old. We were told on the phone if one was available we were able to have it. Both flights had bassinets but we weren't allowed access to them. On our first leg the bassinet was in economy plus and we were economy. On the way home our fight was downsized to a smaller plane and the airline was too busy trying to cut 25 people off the fight they weren't able to give us a seat where the bassinet would be. We asked several flight attendants and got different answers from each one.
Pros: The crew on board the flights were always friendly and Stern with unruly customers. Very good job in that department.
Cons: I am 5'10 and 155 lbs I wasn't so cramped in the sets that when the person infront of me put there seat back I couldn't cross my leg or sit comfortable. I can't imagine what a person any taller or larger then me felt. Oh also the average size man sitting extra to me was spilling over my seat. Luckily he did not smell and was very apologetic. The only reason I booked through united was because of how cheap they were. But with Lon delays. Rude check in emoployees, bad snacks, zero in flight entertainment 7.99 to watch tv? Come on you have us trapped already. (returning to Hawaii) and one of the worst seating set ups of my life. Yeah I'll gladly go back to delta.
Cons: United lost my checked in baggage and the customer service was so terrible and no one was helpful nor even cared. United totally ruined my trip.

Pros: We had economy plus seats, so I could still feel my legs and didn't have a near panic occurrence. Good news! The dents in my husband's knees from the previous flight are gone! A/C worked great.
Cons: United flight attendants could use a good Dale Carnegie course. The attendants on our flight exuded "GO AWAY!" Our row mate (aisle) had a broken seat that she paid extra $$ for & she asked to be seated elsewhere. Attendant said there are no more seats. There was at least one seat in first-class; we could see it. She also asked for more pretzels......2 1/2 hours into the flight...the attendant said I gave them out already. One pack of pretzels? I wasn't offered any pretzels at all. And the movie choices....what?!?!?!?! I can't even begin to describe the disappointment that your "selection" of movies caused. This isn't a hop to Hawaii. It's long haul. Oh. And my feelings are still a little hurt I at being subjected to the SMELL of baking chocolate chip cookies that were being served in 1st class. Really? Superman vs Batman, Captain America, Barbershop II, Jungle Book, etc., AND having to smell cookies I can't have? It's just too much to take in on a 5 hour flight.
Pros: The flight landed safely and was only a few minutes late after delayed departure of 25 minutes.
Cons: A problem passenger ruined the flight for me and several others. He continually left his seat when the seat belt sign was on. I figured he was back smoking or vaping in the lavatory as he came back smelling strongly of after shave, bit seeing him weave around he must've been drinking. Then he stood in the aisle and poured more after shave down his shirt and outside his shirt. The smell was so strong it gave me a headache and make me sick to my stomach. Then he left his seat and sat behind us somewhere with a woman. A flight attendant told another man to come up and sit where he had been sitting. After the man went to sleep this guy came up and kicked him out of his seat. Then he asked the guy by the windows to switch seats with him which the guy did Kama then he proceeded to make him move several times as he had to get out and get out of his seat looking for something. I'm not sure how these things are handled normally but this guy really ruined for me. Aren't there consequences for ignoring all the rules? I probably won't fly United again.
Cons: I Purchased 2 round trip tickets for myself and my son. My son had a change of plans and purchased another one way ticket to leave a week earlier. So his first leg of my purchase was not used. They resold that seat on May 27. So they made money Twice on that seat. Then when we checked in to return on 15 June. We were told his ticket had been cancelled and I had to purchase another ticket for his return. The flight was NOT sold out. My entire row of seats was empty. So I paid for 2 seats for the same flight. This is theft, coming and going and I am calling my lawyer!
Pros: I enjoyed very little about this experience. The crew was cordial however they lose the ability to perform simple tasks by the long standing protocols and overcrowded flights. Most of the crew are as unhappy as the passengers.
Cons: The plane hit the brakes while taking off and returned to the gate due to a warning light. We were told nothing other than we needed to wait. They said the fix took 5 minutes but our wait took 2 hours. Not efficient. They rent out tablets for on plane entertainment, unlike every other plane I've ever flown, they make you pay to keep you happy during a 5.5 hour flight. Food was horrible. The seat did not recline and they eradicate every ounce of comfort to overpack the plane. The Captian made little announcements and the one he did make upon decent, started with "please fasten your seat belts, we are 65 miles away from Honolulu but...", I was sure the "light" came back on 30k feet about the pacific and we were going down. Finally - the last announcement from the head stewardess didn't include "Aloah, thank you for flying United". Seems minor but it goes to show they don't care anymore. That's the first time I hadn't heard the welcomed message after my 20th trip to the Islands. After my return flight I vow to never fly United again.
Pros: Crew was friendly. It was a long flight, so glad that came around in between drink services to offer water.
Cons: Not that much content on the entertainment device, several movies were only playing in Japanese and no option to change to English. My device kept shutting off at random times despite having full battery.
Cons: We were frustrated because we chose United flights but then got put on Island air from Maui to Honolulu who has completely different baggage guidelines and ended up costing us quite a bit more because our carry-ones weren't 16 lbs or below. I don't like things like that, so I wasn't very happy with that part of the trip. I don't think that is United's fault-probably Kayak's. Flying in general just isn't pleasant anymore. The crews aren't happy or fun and they've gotten so cheap on everything, and charge you out the nose for everything. The airplanes weren't clean. My 2 year old had to brush off a seat of crumbs on her seat before she sat down! Just sad where it's gotten in this crazy world. We used to love to fly, and now we are just always glad to be done with the flights!
Cons: 4 hr delayed departure. fine... better safe than sorry when there's a mechanical problem. BUT-- there was no compensation.. no free drinks, no free food worse: the flight left after lunch but there was only breakfast food (since it had been a morning flight). and THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD FOR SALE. despite the 4 hour delay. we were starving. then... we FINALLY arrive... and wait another full HOUR for the gate to be opened. because it had "timed out" (because we were so late?) and apparently, they have to call someone in from who knows where to unlock the gate... it took an hour! we basically lost a full day of our Hawaiian vacation

Cons: My husband, myself and 11 year old son were seated separately. We requested seats together. I was told by the desk staff that there were younger children also seated away from their parents. Once in board, I observed several families with adults seated together and children older than 11 seated together. Priority should have been given to younger children to sit with at least one parent. I was uncomfortable with my minor aged child was seated with strangers for a 5 hour flight. In flight online entertainment didn't work initially.
Cons: Very rude lady working at United desk at LAX. I am a veteran and I have very bad anxiety and PTSD and my wife (who is active duty) were split up for the flight so we had asked to be seated next to one another since we had picked our seats online prior to flying. The lady was very rude rolling her eyes saying that there was nothing she could do for us besides us asking people to possibly switch seats even though my spouse had the United app open and showed two seats to upgrade too and she didn't even ask if we wanted to upgrade to be next to each other. At this point I had to take my anxiety medication and as we were taking off one of the flight attendants said we could ask about upgrading but yet the lady at the desk said nothing.
