Cons: "Did not like being bumped to a flight with a five hour layover in SLC. Travel day was already very long. We booked the flight originally based on the shorter layover of an hour and a half. Seemed very inconsiderate."

Cons: "On this A320 craft, old style, the First class seats are a joke. I had seat 2B. The pitch is apparently less than in the Comfort+ rows. The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

I returned within 10 minutes to the gate, but the gate agent was unable to find the coat. It was obvious that one of the cleaning crew took it and I will never see it again. The gate agent responded with a casual, sorry, as if this happens all the time. So much for the integrity of Delta employees."

I'm not one to be to needy but when i was about to ask the lady if I can switch seats to the fair back where there was two empty seats she gladly let the other person but not me. She said no that if I wanted to sit back I needed to set with the other person. Our flight was from NYC to PR 5hour long and in between those hours she let a couple sit together on the other empty rows while I was feeling supper sick. Other passengers notice and had told me that they felt sorry for me. I was Embarressed. I was debating on venting on Twitter just yet and also on this review because what difference does it make. What matters the most is that we all got to our destination safely."

Pros: "After the extremely long wait to check bags which made us miss the flight, the date crew got us in another flight...it wasn't direct which is what I paid for, but they did get us out, but i missed an interview because of the lack of crew and a missing luggage."
Cons: "Checking a bag, delta did not have enough crew to get everyone thru to their flights. We waited for 80 minutes inline to check a bag. Then we ran to the gate inky to find the gate was closed less than 2 minutes before we arrived. At least 20 others also missed the plane because of the lack of crew and long lines checking bags. It was frustrating, irritating, uncaring crew checking in, and a bit rude. Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. All because you didn't have the crew needed to check in."

This was totally unacceptable, I was told I didn't select a seat on the seat selection screen and that I was now on standby. I specifically remember the seat selection screen being extremely misleading and thought that I had selected seats when in fact I didn't according to Delta. Maybe instead of focusing your website on getting customers to upgrade their seats you should focus on getting them a seat first. Secondly make sure tickets can't be purchased unless a seat is assigned first. Who would want to buy standby tickets 3 months in advance? I'm guessing not many people."

Pros: "I flew United from Anchorage to Ft. Myers, FL, and I will NEVER fly United again. Delta crew is friendly and helpful, more leg room, more comfortable seats!"
Cons: "I didn't like that this was my longest flight of 3 heading to Anchorage (13 hrs total for the trip home) and we were on one of the smallest planes in their fleet, ridiculous. The overhead bins were too small to fit my carry-on. The seats were 2, aisle, 2. Very cramped. No entertainment available, no monitors even on the plane. For over 3 hr flights it should be a more comfortable, bigger plane and definitely have free entertainment, especially considering we pay extra for baggage these days. It's like anymore, airlines try to nickel and dime u to death, before you know it your $250 flight is now close to $350... (I bought all one way flights) Also, I'm not sure if flight attendants check the bathrooms, but all of my delta flights the bathrooms were tiny and there was urine all over the floor. This flight in particular, the bathroom smelled worse than half outhouses I've used in Alaska."

He spoke for four hours without a minute of silence! Several of us seated near him were clearly uncomfortable. I put my iPod earphones for about an hour for a break, but could still hear him. I know that it's no fault of Delta, but it made for a weary flight."

The airport takes over and you're stuck in the middle of a crowded 10.5 hour flight all because you weren't able to select your seat ahead of time. Just another money grab from a tanking airline."

Either they don't understand the language or the procedures. There should be people walking around to answer questions on boarding procedures or better announcements in several languages. the Asians were extremely confused as were the Germans we encountered. They never announced for people with disabilities to get ahead of others. It was a big "casino" as the Italians say when everyone charges the boarding area. People could be put in groups according to where their seating is, making it easier for all."

Cons: "1. It was raining in Milan when I departed. Clearly my checked suitcase was exposed to major rain because several layers of clothes were very wet when I got home. 2. I'm a senior citizen trying to stretch funds to travel -- paying extra for an early seat assignment is not in my budget. Logging in 24 hours ahead to get a seat was incredibly inconvenient--I happened to be in a museum and without WiFi. (It could have been in the middle of the night or on a connecting plane.) I then had trouble entering all the required data and was finally told I had to wait 24 hours to try again-- that made no sense because I had to be on my flight 24 hours later. As a senior citizen who struggles with using the internet, it is particularly difficult. PLEASE let people choose a seat when making a reservation WITHOUT charging extra. 3. I was shocked that I couldn't get a glass of water without paying for it!!!!"

Cards should be passed to passengers an hour after Akef off. - no gifts given to kids like small games or coloring crayons to keep them busy. - food took hours to serve and was not comparable to BA's image. - the water pressure in the toilet's wash basin was too strong and was splashing all over my cloths."

Cons: "The boarding procedure as chaotic...comparable to Calcutta 30 years ago.i suggest that you follow boarding procedures used by some US carries like Jet Blue or Southwest....after they"specials"have boarded then start loading by rows starting from the back of the plane. The seats are both uncomfortable and too close to the seat in front. NOT a happy passenger !!"

Pros: "Sandwich was tasty, but had to pay for it. On short flight, that's not a big deal."

Cons: "Has taken up mobility/special assistance while bookkong but didn't get any assistance after landing at London Heathrow airport. Entire transfer at Heathrow airport for catching up next flight to Phoenix, USA lot of struggle had done because of it."

Pros: "Great movie selection! Really good...."
Cons: "I'm 5.10 so seats are much worse for me because of long legs! Especially on a long flight :("

Cons: "Online check in was not available on 4 international flights, despite 24 hour checkin being advertised. Expect your seat preferences to be limited unless you pay $35-$85 per flight to pick your seat in advance."

Cons: "There was no direction when boarding, resulting in 2 lines of people from different direction trying to board! No entertainment at all. You have to pay for even water."

Pros: "We didn't crash."
Cons: "No leg room at all. Felt like a sardine in a can. Not even water is free. Staff were horribly inefficient with the snack cart They finished 15 minutes before landing on a 2 hour flight!"

Cons: "Because of BA problems on online checking I couldn't get seats reserved as soon as online checkin opened. No one could helped me by phone either. I had to do it at the airport. By then, obviously, only the worst seats were available. Do they care? Obviously no. I'm the one stuck in the worst seats for 8:30h. And that happened both ways in the trip. All they would say is "I'm sorry, I can't help you at this time". As that would improve my flying experience. If the problem was on their side, they should definitely accomodate me."

Cons: "Checkin staff , who don't appear tombs BA but from another airline working on behalf of BA, apparently punted a problem they knew would take much effort to resolve to the BA agents at Heathrow"

Pros: "It was a good flight, everything was good as expected."
Cons: "The carry-on I had was oversized, so I paid the$30 fee. Then I got to the gate and they informed me that the Representative was supposed to give me a luggage label along with my receipt. I only got my receipt and I was then charged another$65 for my bag. Not happy about that additional baggage fee."

Cons: "Rescheduled 1 and a half hours later without telling us. Tough to do when you have already been traveling for 14 hours."

Cons: "We were delayed leaving IAD. We sat on the tarmac for 20 - 25 minutes waiting for a gate at SLC. The flight attendant neglected to look my way when picking up discarded trash, (I raised it up when she passed me - she was looking the other way and raced up the aisle), so I sat with my trash during the final 30 minutes of flight (and additional 20-25 minutes waiting for gate)"

Pros: "Instead of just giving a cup of the beverage of choice, they gave us the whole can. I liked the snack they handed out much better than the pretzels on the trip out. The wheelchair assistance was wonderful."
Cons: "You ask us to rate the entertainment, but there isn't a n/a box and there really isn't any unless you use an electronic device."

Cons: "Pretty sad their old planes are way more comfortable than their new ones. Overall flights to get home were much better than flights out of town. Overall though, hoping to never fly United again."

Pros: "I liked the mobile app and everyone was friendly. I ended up being frisked by tsa, but they were just doing their job so whatever."

Pros: "They were always very attentive to let you know about gate changes or seat changes. Which to me personally is very important. I have had very bad experiences with other airlines in the past because they did not communicate properly their gate change and I missed my flight and missed events I was flying for. Excellent job to United for communicating gate changes very well! They did not break any of my luggage and the seats were fairly comfortable. The employees were also very attentive and willing to answer any questions."
Cons: "It was a bit confusing gate wise. I did have to ask an employee what was going on but they cleared up the confusion pretty quick. I flew on a jet verses a regular plane, and it was very loud. I had my movie turned up all the way with headphones and I still could barely hear it. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't hear my movie but in general it just hurt my ears. I was sitting towards the back of the jet though so I'm assuming if I was closer to the front it wouldn't have been as bad? Overall it was still a great experience"

We finally landed in SLC 8 hours later than we were supposed to only to be told that they had left out luggage in Chicago. It is now a week later and I still don't have my luggage! This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had!"

Cons: "One gate agent spoke rudely to a passenger for throwing something in her trash can, she could have stated what she needed to more kindly, especially in front of other customers."

Pros: "When getting on the second plan the crew members were literally running back and forth to get the right information in the computer, with seconds to spare before the plane actaully leaving us we were able to get board."
Cons: "Me and my husband were on time to our first flight, but they closed the gates on us 15 minutes early! And when we went to costumer service the lady didn't reprint our tickets to make sure we had actual seat on the plane. After waiting another 5 to 6 hours In the airport and knowing we needed to already be home, when trying to board on the full plane we almost were able to get on our second plane either."

Cons: "Could not make seat assignments for second leg of trip on line , had to wait until boarding agents to a rive 45 minutes before flight. Did not get assigned seats until most passengers were seated. They did get us is eats but not together !"

Cons: "We paid for first class seats from Houston to Salt Lake City, thinking it would be provide us more than a regular seat. It did not. We received one drink and were allowed to pick from a basket of snacks (packaged pretzels and cookies), but that was it. No additional food, no entertainment options on our plane, no blanket, no pillows, no hot towels. We basically paid all that extra money for a little bigger seat. It was not worth it. This was our first time flying with United in a while and it will definitely be our last."
