Cons: "The flight attendant at the front- I don’t know her name but she was wonderful, friendly and smiling and seemed genuinely pleased at her job. The flight attendant in the back I don’t believe smiled once the whole flight. It was a relatively short flight but still not one smile on boarding, in flight or once we landed. Probably gave the most morose safety demonstration in aviation history. I know most people don’t like their jobs but a smile does go a long way and for me personally it helps s great deal when you have an irrational fear of flying. She did nothing wrong but she could have at least looked like she wanted to be there."

The seats were surprisingly comfortable and spacious, they offered complimentary drinks and snacks (cheaper airlines tend to charge for this), and free TV, movies, and wifi! I will absolutely use Jet Blue again!"

Space was unbelievably tight between seats and rows; I cannot imagine a horizontally or vertically big person having any level of comfort. In general, the service was quite poor, making me wonder how does Delta treat the flight attendants, for they seemed tired and careless. The above did not happen in any of my other flights: Atlanta-Guadalajara, Guadalajara-CDMX, CDMX-Atlanta."

We were first told our flight would be delayed an hour, then the departure time was moved up 40 minutes without any clear messaging. We caught an email from Delta, but if we hadn’t, we might have missed our flight. The plane was also abnormally loud on board, and the air pressure seemed to fluctuate throughout the flight, making the experience uncomfortable."

Crew response: We're not any worse than the other airlines - my response: WRONG! NO WIFI NO entertainment NO CHARGING AREA magazines were missing pages in both seats- requested new one never received"

BUT THERE WEREN'T. Everyone's phones/ipads died a few hours into the flight and therefore had to stare at the wall for HOURS. I even brought my laptop to get some work done, but without a plugin to keep it charged, it died. In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."

Cons: "In their rush to leave, they didn't communicate with the on board crew about overhead bins and I was forced to check a priceless item that I purposely wanted with me in the cabin. The overheads were empty above my own seat. I wasn't allowed to go back and reclaim my bag because they had already taken it. And they were completely indifferent to my situation, which isn't surprising given they didn't understand the value of my item. Thus, I had a full blown panic attack for my entire 2 hour flight, my medicine being one of the items also in my now checked bag. It was too late, my bag was taken and thrown under the plane by the time it struck. And the flight attendants also had on perfume that brought on a tension headache due to my sensitivity to scents. Considering they work in a recycled air tube, this seems like a vast oversight on their part and should consider that not everyone can handle even the faintest of perfumes. It may not seem like a big deal to them, because mental illness is still seen as a made up thing, but it was enough of a trigger that I will not fly American Airlines again."

Cons: "American destroyed my family vacation. They took four days to not get us to Dublin. Stranded us in Chicago and had to use my own money to fly back to California without a vacation. Don't do it."

Cons: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

I arrived at the airport at 12:30 and didn't end up catching a flight until 7:45 p.m.... oh and I forgot to mention that I originally paid for an upgrade for priority seating with more legroom that I never received because they put me on the very last seat that you can't even replying because there is a wall behind you.. SMH"

Cons: "The 7:00 flight was delayed for an hour and then delayed for another 2. Meanwhile, the 8:00 flight was called for boarding. It was very frustrating. Those of us who got in line quickly were able to fly standby on the 8:00 flight. I felt the airline did not treat us honestly. I believe the reasons for the delays were known long before the delays were communicated to passengers. (For example, there was a new delay announcement at 8:00 for a flight scheduled to leave at 7:58). Had we been informed earlier, people could have made alternate plans if they wanted to do so (e.g. Rent a car or reschedule for the next day.)"

We found out later that there was a fruit and cheese plate available. Also, it seems that there were few items available from the on board menu. Why bother even having a menu if many of the items were not available? Air Canada should be ashamed!"

I showed my passport 4 times in the process & finally someone helped me to fill out the electronic form. I made it to my gate in the nick of time just as they were ready to close the door. They radioed ahead to let 2 more people on that plane. Then I get on and someone is sitting in the seat that I previously purchased. The flight attendant didn't make them move either. Air Canada's practices suck! I will never fly Air Canada again."

She got us to Winnipeg on a midnight flight and we then booked a $1400 Delta flight to Minneapolis from there. We needed to be there by 10 am to attend the legal adoption ceremony of my daughter's infant son. It was very close but we made it. We were delayed for hour and half already, why load us and make us sit in a warm aircraft. Air Canada offered us 10.00 vouchers for dinner... problem was they did it so late nothing was open. It should have been done earlier. 2. weather - caused the initial problem in NYC, no fault of air canada. 3. Montreal airport - Our gates were switched 3 times during the delays. Which happens, however the gate changes started at one end of the airport, moved to the other end of the airport and back to the original end."

Pros: "We had a very kind crew! We traveled with an infant and while boarding was a mess, the crew on board was kind and helpful and did all they could to make it a good experience."
Cons: "Air Canada Rouge operated our flight rather than Lufthansa or other similar airline. This meant that there were no tvs on board, which means the nearly 9 hour flight got very long. Boarding and check-in were also disorganized and many people from lower zones boarded before zone 1 and those with children, m among we had to stand on the ramp for a very long time holding our baby."

I would have enjoyed another small snack, such as cheese and crackers or some such. The movie list was fairly good with somewhat recent items. The TV list was lacking in choices, it seemed. However, that may be the content of modern TV. Access to the toilets were often hindered by staff, especially in the rear of the cabin. We were 45 minutes late. I was already booked on a flight 5+ hours later, which was nice. However, I was given a only a food voucher of 31CHF. The amount was wonderful, but they offered this at a time when I had already eaten on the plane and was not hungry at all. I could only buy a few things to eat or take with me, and the rest of the amount was wasted. Alternatives, could have been a partial refund, a visa gift card, an upgrade on my flight back, etc."

I didn't know that until after confirming my reservation, and it makes all the difference. For a low cost flight, the service is ok, but it shouldn't be advertised as Air Canada at all."

Cons: "The lady who checked us in caused a major problem with seating. The person I was traveling with was blind and I was her guide. We specifically asked to be seated together and the lady told me we were. I even confirmed with her and she told me yes again. When we boarded we found out our seats were 17 rows apart. I found out that she did this for the connecting flight as well (not as far apart but still not together) this caused a great deal of stress as I couldn't help her when I needed to."

Pros: "One of the wort scariest flights ever"

Pros: "AC's staff is generally very pleasant and accommodating (they are Canadians, after all). I checked in quite early and was moved to an aisle seat (was originally in a middle) with no one next to me - something the lady at the check-in counter did just to be nice! Boarding was pleasant and easy going; greeted upon entering the aircraft which is always a nice touch. The flight was more or less on time and things went smoothly overall."
Cons: "The power/USB outlet in my headrest did not work. I was also seated in front of a French couple who repeatedly hung onto my seat when they were getting up (at least 3 times during the flight). I realize this has nothing to do with Air Canada but perhaps they should consider offering 'French only' flights to avoid such annoyances in the future."

Cons: "The boarding gate for small aircraft is very far away from the terminal. There was not enough seating for all those waiting for flights"

However, be prepared for the stress of waiting in lines where there are not even restrooms."

Cons: "I missed my connecting flight to Dublin because the plane was delayed nearly three hours. I received a new ticket for 24hours after my oringial connecting flight. When I arrived in Dublin my baggage had been placed on the wrong flight."

Cons: "Crew could have come round looking for disposals sooner rather than at the end. No one came by to check if seat belts were fastened properly."

Cons: "My confirmation number did not work; originally my flight appeared to be through copa but then it was clear that it was part of the way on United and part of the way on copa; Was unable to check in for flight before getting to the airport; first flight was very delayed and connecting flight was not acknowledged in the delay - in other words, I was going to miss the connecting flight but was unable to get any information about re-booking; waited in the airport for 6 hours then boarded the plane and sat on the plane for 3 hours, then was told flight was delayed until the following day; eventually did take off 22 hours late; when I arrived in Quito finally my bag did not make it; they did not deliver my bag to my hotel as they said they would in the airport, instead I had to go an agency and pick it up. I missed a day and a half of seeing a dear friend I was coming here to visit and nothing can make up for that. Overall, terrible experience."

Cons: "RST to ORD to SEA took 16 hours because of non airworthy United planes at RST. First one cancelled, second fixed after several hours but SEA connection missed at ORD. Fortunately AA had a ORD-SEA flight available or I'd still be in Chicago."

Cons: "I flew with 1 child and 1 infant and there was no help, not at check in, not at boarding nor from the crew on board. I requested a bassinet before the flight over the phone and didn't get it. There was an issue with the infant ticket and the United check in agent was incompetent to fix it, which made us late for boarding. No one helped me at boarding with taking the stroller from me. On board the crew members were annoyed when I ask for some hot water for a baby bottle. And it's sad that children don't get a kid's meal ( which we received flying with many other airlines) and have to eat the uneatable adult meal. That was my first and last time flying with United."

We land in ORD and the gate team at our connecting flight was beyond rude, shaming me for having "two carry-on's". They demanded I surrender and check my overnight bag (really just a "gym bag") PLUS they charged me $50! When I challenged the charge and the luggage change mid-trip, they said if I didn't give them my bag and pay the fee, they would deny me boarding! I'll avoid United in the future when ever I can!"

Cons: "Air Canada sold the flight to United Airlines - and United moved the flight later and later and later. Six times. When this was combined with a weather delay, we ended up boarding at 11 PM and landing well after midnight. This is not what we signed up for and not what we wanted."

Boarding group signs caused confusion for everyone; they were angled to the right, but had small arrows pointing to the left where we were supposed to line up, all passengers were asking other passengers for help as to where they were supposed to be. Very long boarding wait added to confusion."
