Pros: The KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring when there was confusion with my ticket.
Cons: I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight.

Cons: Flight boarding was an abomination as it was delayed 6 times. Then we had to board (by bus) to a location about 1-2 miles from the gate. Gate agents DID NOT keep the passengers updated. A simple announcement every 10-15 minutes would have made a big difference. Also video screens on several rows did not work, no entertainment for a 7 hr flight.

They need more training to learn how to say "I am sorry" more often and know how to avoid getting into arguments with passengers.

Pros: It was my daughter's 16th birthday and one of the spunky crew members helped us to create a little celebration. That was very memorable! Otherwise the flight was late (which was OK, the captain kindly kept us informed), but the plane was clean and quiet. The bathrooms on the lower level provided a space to stretch, but as always, they get pretty dirty on a long-haul flight. Price was quite good. I always feel the flights originating from Europe are nicer than those originating in the US.
Cons: The food was stuck in the past, roll, white cheese, white cake with sugary fruit, somewhat wilted small salad and a pretty greasy chicken dish with polenta and by that point, stewed veggies. I am not accustomed to eating like that and was disappointed (though hungry!). Not a whole lot of room in my seat, I'm 5'6" and slim, but at least the seats recline and glide forward a bit and the head rest bends to catch your head IF you can nod off. I appreciate the civility that still exists under stressful circumstances.

Cons: Lufthansa Ground staff was not equipped to handle flight cancellation! It took them 4.5 hrs after scheduled flight departure time between which they told us flight was cancelled and provided Hotel Accommodations. Very sad customer handling and service. Subsequent booking was a mess too!

Cons: Delays in Nice led to a narrow window for connection. More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative.

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?

Pros: Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible.

Pros: Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago.

Pros: The crew members are friendly and efficient in getting people on and taking off. Even with flights being full in all segments, it was smooth and fast to get people on and sit down.

Pros: Nothing. It’s a terrible airline. Seriously, don’t book with them unless you’re desperate or you want to have an anxiety attack.
Cons: American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me.

Customs and airport (DFW) experience was very good. Baggage claim and return for connection were prompt and rapid.
Cons: Seats were tight in basic coach. As typical at CDG airport (other than the government subsidized Air France facilities), check-in and security is a nightmare. Clearly the worst airport in the world.

Pros: The guy at the check in counter was awesome, even though his English wasn't great. He upgraded me to the exit row seats since my legs are long; usually you need to pay for this. The seats were huge and comfortable, though the arm rests didn't move, so you could stretch out (the flight wasn't that full).
Cons: One flight attendant was basically rude to everyone. She was so comically unfriendly that people on the plane were actually mocking her (for good reason). She refused to explain to us how the emergent slide worked. We asked because the visual instructions on the door were different from those in the seat back pamphlet. In fact, I still don't know which directions are the correct ones (they were contradictory).

Pros: I did not like anything about the flight to be honest. Oh wait you did have cool club lights that were blue that tried to distract me from the fact that I had to take an American airlines flight.
Cons: Holy moly. You know if you stopped charging extra money for checked baggage you wouldn't have a ridiculously annoying amount of customers with too many bags for overhead storage. Then you wouldn't have to threaten your customers to store their small bags under the seat. Then I would have room for my feet under the seat. When I would have been comfortable. I also wouldn't have to annoy my neighbor with trying to move and get comfortable. But instead the exact opposite happened and I'm offended you guys have America anywhere near your name.

Cons: When we bought our tickets we asked about how much time to allow between the London flight and our connection to Knoxville. We booked expecting to take the early connection if we could get thru customs early enough. We did, asked for boarding passes and were told it would cost $150.00 to take the earlier flight...so we sat for more than 3 hours waiting for our connection, after buying over $2,000 in airfare, traveling for 24 hours and seeing a partly empty plane leave Charlotte for Knoxville. We were the given the back two non reclining seats on the flight, even though we had booked weeks in advance...so no we felt very let down at the end of a difficult trip.

Pros: Throughout the flight every since and while they offered food. Snaks, drinks, desserts as well as main course. Surprisingly as it is relatively not a long flight. Some of food was not very tasty, but definitely won't stay hungry!

Pros: Seats were uncomfortable and badly maintained. Seatback stowage netting was detached and useless. There was an equipment change (new larger aircraft) I had a B (aisle seat) on the original aircraft and on the new plane my "B" seat became a middle seat. This was completely unsatisfactory.
Cons: Lack of communication from flight deck or cabin crew as to engine shutdown and takeoff delay at MSO. Just plain irritating and completely unnecessary

Pros: It could be much better if the plains of the United Airlines were in better care. This is unexpectable in two days on the row 17 & 18 of July to boarding & unboarding in Washington with the same flight UA974 having 5-6 hours delay, in result to missed our connect flight in Geneva .

Pros: This was an overseas/overnight flight and I was a little concerned because last time I had a 10 hour flight with United (NY to Hawaii) they gave us nothing but water and pretzels. This time we got 2 meals, dinner and breakfast, plus beer and wine. Service was very good, staff very friendly, flight on time and comfortable.

Cons: We lane was delayed 5 hours, once it departed the plane was very cold and difficult to sleep and encountered more turbulance than usual.

Pros: The gate agent was helpful getting travelers with an infant seats together since we weren’t given the option to select seats ahead of time. That is my only positive comment about this whole travel experience.
Cons: Most everything. The food was horrible and service terrible. One flight attendant was especially rude. I will not fly united again if it can be helped. Such a bad experience never again.

Pros: The flight from MSO to DEN on United always involves small planes. Almost always the crew and attendant() are efficient and friendly. Tonight though our attendant made us all feel like we were in 1st class. She called everyone by their names when serving (Mr. O'Connor could I get you a beverage?), checked on us multiple times and was so friendly that she stood way out!

Cons: Avion en retard de presque 2h30 a cause de maintenance et personne ne c'est inquiété des gens qui attendait pour leur donner une collation en attendant l'avion car nous n'avons pas manger avant 22h alors que nous devions décoller à 5:50pm on a embarquer vers 8:10pm. Et les hôtesses n'étaient pas agréable. Pas de sourire et passaient avec leur chariots brusquement. Mon copain c'est pris plusieurs coup dans les épaules donc pas agréable.

Cons: We bought this on swiss air with the terms that included free skis. When we arrived at the airport, Unites airlines informed us that skis would be $200 to check. A pretty awful surprise to start our vacation. Perhaps it should be made more clear that the operating airline’s fees with predominant - not the fees we originally agreed to at purchase. United’s planes are awfully old and small.

Also, a United staff person told us we didn't need to touch our bags in calgary en route tonour final Saskatoon destination, which was wrong.
