We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

Food, there has got to be something else out there other than pretzels, I understand why we do not have peanuts, but a little bit more variety would be very nice. I understand there's a cost tractor, but often pretzels tend to be fairly stale. Short flights entertainment."

They were NOT seated together...not even the twins. Different rows for each member of the family...The flight attendants did NOT help, so as passengers, we moved around to accommodate the family's needs. One of the twins was quite upset and not feeling well, so the mother was holding her and the flight attendant stated that she was required to be seated in her own seat. On my flight back, the flight was sold out...I boarded the plane and realized someone was in my seat...I didn't not care, nor did I require any specialized seating. I informed the attendant and she did nothing until I asked her..."Where would you like me to sit" She shrugged her shoulders, so I asked the person in the seat to check her ticket and I would seat in her seat. The attendant verified that seat and said "Good" The gentleman in the seat beside me was traveling with a toddler, who during the trip needed a diaper change. Unfortunately, there were NO places to change her, NO suggestions from the attendants, so I got up so he could use my seat to lay her down and do what was necessary. After completing the task, NO attendant asked for his trash or came with a bag to dispose of the dirty diaper. Simple acts of kindness and using common sense would really be a benefit..."

No other airline I fly requires passengers to pay for their second carry on. Additionally, when I checked in, I was asked to pay for my seats to ensure that I could sit next to my companion. In other words, seat price wasn't included in the ticket price either. How was I to know this when every other airlines includes it! Also, there were no complimentary snacks (peanuts, pretzels, etc.) nor drinks (sodas, etc.). Everything had a fee. I was also very unimpressed by an agent at the ticket counter who was flirting inappropriately with me. It was extremely unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. In all, I was incredibly disappointed with Frontier and will never fly the airline again."

There were no features on this plane so the passagers had the option of just sitting there or sleeping. Not even your basic airline snacks (peanuts, crackers) were complimentary. This was very "nickel and dime" like. I also don't care for the fact that you have to pay for your carryon, which is more expensive than checking a bag."

Cons: "Seats don’t recline- none of them. Pay extra for everything- every bag-even carry on- picking a seat, even water! Ends up costing the same and it’s uncomfortable."
Pros: "It was ok just had a long delay to get off the plane at Fort Lauderdale"
Cons: "The delay. The miscommunication about the flight. No emails telling about the delay. The worst experience ever. Never again will I fly with spirit. Maybe cheap flight but poor customer service."
Cons: "The kiosk did not work to print my boarding pass so I went to the counter to check in and get my boarding pass. There was only about 6 people in front of me however it took 45 minutes to actually speak with someone at the counter."

Cons: "When we flew in from Montego Bay to Fort Lauderdale and we had to go through customs; no flight member told us that we had to get our bags from baggage to take through customs with us and then if you had a connecting flight, that you would need to re-check your baggage and go through TSA again. Also, we were not informed that if we had duty-free liquids to put them in your baggage that you would have to re-check. Needless to say, I had to find a box to put my duty-free liquids in to have checked at the ticket counter before I was able to go through TSA. It was a terrible flying experience and I will not be flying with Spirit airlines again."

Cons: "It's pretty much robbery. They nickel and dime you on everything from bags, to your seat. If you miss even a portion of your flight, you forfeit the entire flight. And there is zero customer service. They are all foreigners reading off computer screens who could care less."

Cons: "My friend and I were so excited to finally book our trip to Jamaica for spring break. Being college students with a budget, we started looking for affordable airline prices. Spirit was the first to pop up. I immediately regretted booking after watching terrible reviews. My friend and I said how bad could it be? It was too late to cancel. Honest truth our flight to Jamaica was smooth sailing. We had no major issues at airport or delay. There was no Wi-Fi or entertainment. On our way back from Montego bay, the flight got delayed but we did not receive any email telling or announcement. One of the workers told us the boarding pass machine wasn't working. After standing in a long waiting line for over 30 mins with our flight scheduled to leave in 20 mins, we decided to try it ourselves and it did work. Since our flight was delayed, We would miss our connecting flight back to Baltimore as well. we were assured by spirit workers that would be getting voucher for food and hotel in fort Lauderdale. Once we got through customs they told everyone going to Baltimore to stand in a long line for voucher. We arrived at FLL at 8:00 pm and were still standing in line at 12 am. They then decided to tell us that they couldn't accommodate us for hotel because every.single.hotel in the area was booked. The workers were so slow and had no sense of urgency to help us. Some were using their phones, chatting and laughing hysterically while a group of us stood there, helpless and with no sense of direction. One worker suggested we sleep on the floor in the airport till the morning. They then decided to push blames and tell us montego bay workers knew they had no vouchers but still sent us there. There was another flight leaving for Baltimore at 7 am and they couldn't find us seats on that flight. The best they could do was book us a flight with delta at 2 pm. After calling over 15 hotels we finally found one that charged us $130 for 10 hours and left the airport at 2:30 am. They gave us food vouchers $21 for breakfast and lunch that did not even work at our hotel. We spent 30 each for food. In total we spent over $165 that was not part of our budget. We could have added that money and bought a ticket from a more reputation company like delta. The emotional stress, time wasted and money wasted was NOT worth the $50 we saved when we initially decided to book spirit for $300 instead of $350 with other airlines. I will never in my lifetime fly with this company."

Cons: "hidden fees, checked bags weight is different then any other company, not polite, both our flights were canceled and the only option we were given was 3 days out. No entertainment, No room on the plane to move, VERY SMALL tray not even big enough to do anything on. you have to buy EVERY LITTLE thing, water is not even given out."

Pros: "The flight was cancelled. Was told that the earliest flight they could get us on was 3 days later. Not good. Spirit will not book you with another airline. This is no frills big time. If something goes wrong you are totally screwed. They gave me a credit which I must use within 2 months. So, live and learn. Flying Spirit is a huge mistake! I was able to book a flight with JetBlue, a much more respectable airline."
