Cons: "777 overhead bins suck."
Pros: "The funny crew"
Cons: "Softer landing"
Pros: "Great crew!"
Cons: "Everything was pleasant."
Pros: "New plane with great overhead bins and comfortable seats and pretty empty!"
Pros: "Amazing crew"
Cons: "Tight seats, no access to actual WiFi unless you purchase a yearly or monthly plan"
Pros: "We didn’t crash..."
Cons: "Better free snacks!"
Pros: "The crew was super pleasant and friendly on this small plane. The flight was quick and smooth. The snack on board was new and enjoyable, not just pretzels."
Cons: "The flight was delayed coming to Muskegon causing me to really rush to my connection in Chicago. This was a small plane so there was no charging abilities or WiFi."
Pros: "Fast , good crew . Enough space for bags"
Pros: "The crew and the fact that they at least acted like they cared."
Cons: "After UA posted a four hour delay for my original flight, I switched to the next available 1.5 hours later. That flight got delayed and then delayed some more, and by the time I got to SFO, the flight I originally booked, landed about 20 minutes later."
Pros: "Great crew. Clean cabin. United App easy and free entertainment"
Cons: "Cramped seats - no leg room (unless you want to pay much more). I'm 5'10 on a good day, so I don't know how someone 6'+ can sit in the back 2/3 of the plane."
Cons: "Poor services and customer support"
Pros: "On time. Didn't have to wait that long for luggages to come out.."
Cons: "Flight attendant in United just standing idly, doesn't help you with carryons. No free meal for connecting flights with United even though it's meal time unlike when you are in one airlinr all through your international flight."
Cons: "Flight was delayed, missed my connection"
Cons: "United has new seats that have absolutely no leg room and are very uncomfortable. I will make sure never to fly United again. This was 3 hours of agony."
Cons: "We didn't have seats assigned and the gate attendent didn't take the time to tell any of the 20 of us waiting for 15-20 mins to speak to a gate agent what was going on until AFTER she boarded the rest of the plane. When asked what was going on she responded "excuse me, I'll get to you when I get to you and thanks for your 'non attitude'" to the woman who asked her if she had any plans to greet us or even ackwnowledge us. Then the flight attendants became flustered as they realized they separated a 5 year old child and his father and sat the child in the emergency seat. When several of us attempted to help they were rude so when I put my headphones in to pass the time and didn't hear the woman ask if I was willing to sit in the emergency isle she snidely said "there's always one millenial not paying attention." Ummm.... I had my eyes closed and was listening to my music since they clearly wanted us to mind our own business and NOT try to help the father (meanwhile all of us strangers were trying to figure out how to rearrange in order to help). The only reason entertainment gets a 2 is bc I had good conversation with the passenger next to me, not because of anything United did. Really unbelievable that they continue to operate this way and treat PAYING customers like this. It's sad actually."
Pros: "It was ok"
Cons: "Too much confusion on seating...people were moved because of double seating then I was asked to move I seat back. I only agreed so the parent could sit with his two children"
Pros: "Text notification of flight delays several hours in advance. Crew was exceptionally polite - I'd imagine this is a direct result of United's recent scandal. The scandal will eventually dissipate but hope the new crew attitude sticks around."
Cons: "Flight delayed twice. For a 5 1/2 hour flight only a 1/2 cup of water was offered/available. If salty snacks are the only thing being offered, 1/2 a plastic cup of water is impractical and just plain stingy."
Pros: "I liked that the stewardess in the muskegon to Chicago flight gave us the gate numbers that we needed since there was a delay and we were very pressed with time."
Cons: "The weather delay but there is nothing to control that yet..."
Pros: "people were very nice and trying to help even after late change of aircraft and gate due to equipment"
Cons: "wi fi on aircraft while using personal device was limited. also Wi-Fi add-on for internet explorer did not work and directions on web site were poor. I attempted to download prior to flight but was unable to locate on united.com even using the search. would be better if the web site had the downloads or a check your computer config prior to flight to avoid pc not working. united app on iPhone worked well."
Cons: "Waited inside the plane for 7 hours to due mechanical failure"
Pros: "The crew was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Water and drinks were offered regularly. For those who had the app there was inflight entertainment. We paid for plus size seats and had enough leg room."
Cons: "I believe that on the long flights built in entertainment screens should be standard. Most people did not have the app and many spent 8.5 hours without anything to do. Food is not offered on this long flight unless you pay for it. You must walk to the very back of the plane where the food is in warmers. I got a hamburger and it was a bit dried out. Could have been worse...just hard to handle since tomato, lettuce and condiments were on the side. A larger person sat next to me and took use of the armrest between us which made me feel like I lost 4 inches of my personal space."
Cons: "Was ok"
Pros: "Arrived safely"
Cons: "No food, no entertainment , no reading material , seat uncomfortable"
Cons: "never flying united."
Cons: "Both flights were INCREDIBLY delayed. First, the flight from San Jose was delayed 1.5 hours because they were "waiting for the aircraft." After everybody finally boarded the plane an announcement was made that somehow the luggage crew had damaged the cargo hold, and that everybody would have to deplane. It would take 45 minutes for maintenance crew to arrive to assess the situation. People got up, got their luggage out of the overhead bins, and started moving to the front of the plane. The pilot then came back on the intercom and told everyone they would have to return to their seats. Roughly an hour later we finally took off. It would have been the decent thing to do to AT LEAST offer the passengers something (i.e. comp drinks or snacks), but the cheapskates at United DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. Multiple people missed their connections. Fast forward to IAH--> SAT. Another late flight. This time, everybody boarded the plane only to be informed that due to a problem with the plane's computer everybody would have to sit on the plane while they "rebooted" its computers. This was done TWICE. UNITED AIRLINES, GET IT TOGETHER. There is a very good reason you are consistently ranked one of the WORST US-flagged carriers, which makes you one of the MOST HATED AIRLINES ON THE PLANET. I really and truly pray that the US airlines and their lobbyists lose their battle to prevent foreign flagged carriers from operating within the US, because you all deserve to go bankrupt."
Pros: "The crew was polite and helpful."
Cons: "The outlets didn't work. Food was expensive."
Pros: "Rud staff"
Cons: "Bereavement switched flights for me thanks"
Pros: "The check in process was very fast and efficient"
Cons: "My property was stolen I'll never fly with y'all again."
Cons: "Flight delayed, missed connection. United made no effort to help find a new flight. They stranded my at an airport for 12 and never even apologized."
Pros: "Nothing much"
Cons: "Your refund or rescheduling policies."
Pros: "Crew member was excellent."
Cons: "As the ground staff had trouble loading the luggage in to the booty...plane was stranded on the runway without AC... caused unnecessary delay. We missed the connection."
Pros: "The welcoming feeling that I received from the flight attendants."
Cons: "There was a drunk man on the flight. He kept making so many disruptions."
Cons: "My flight to Houston was delayed so I missed my other flight to Calgary. I had the most imported meeting at work that I will miss because I am stuck here until 8 o clock in the morning! I've been in the airport and they did not give me a hotel or vouchers for food or ANYTHING! Most horrible experience with United airline! NEVER fly with them!!!"
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "To start the flight was 1.5 hours late leaving Chicago. About one hour late arriving in Paris. 15 to 20 minutes at a time!"
Pros: "We got to New York thank god"
Cons: "Delay over 1hour and half"
Pros: "Positive crew made even requests for seat changes happy moments. Even got us there 10 minutes early,"
Pros: "That I finally got home although it was 4 in the morning!"
Cons: "Delays started early in the afternoon and continued for several hours. At one point the flight was cancelled. About 30 minutes later another flight was created with a 1-3 am flight. We should have been given an option to fly this late or rebook for free. It was too late to travel at this point."
Pros: "40 minute delay to swap a crew from the next gate over due to poor scheduling of total staff flight hours."
Pros: "A good selection of recent movies to watch"
Cons: "Flight was delayed because we didn't have a pilot? They did get a pilot quickly though and the flight was shorter than originally stated so we got there about the same time we were originally expecting."
Pros: "Nothing about it"
Cons: "Everytime I fly United there is ALWAYS a delay. I will never choose to fly United again. I had two flight which were both delayed, very upset about it."
Cons: "Hour delay made my connection very close, but we made it"
Pros: "The worse trip. the last 8 people in check in was off on the air plane ."
