I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."

The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league."

There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."

To top it all off, the airline worker at check in forced my companion to pay $150 to gate check her guitar (which has always counted as carry on thru other airlines), and then at the gate she was told she couldn't check it and that she was to bring it on the plane as we originally intended. We noticed she was the only person given any trouble and the only black person.....all in all, a terrible experience."

It was as though everybody was afraid of helping. Finally made it to China where we were told that our flight was gone. We were given a nice hotel, but told to come back two hours early for our next flight at 6:30 am. Got up at 3 am to catch 3:50 shuttle, and got to gate at suggested time only to find that the flight was delayed and had been delayed for three days. Finally left at 9:30 and had a good flight to Delhi."

There was also a shrill toddler several rows ahead of us who was yapping loudly for the entire second half of the flight. I obviously understand that children will be children and it was a long flight, but would have been nice if staff had asked the parents to try to quiet him down as they were not attempting to do so at all. Finally, our bags did not make it onto the next flight in time."

Besides that, our section of the plane did not have AC during the 13 hour flight from NY to Beijing, the planes are dated and so is the in-flight entertainment offered. they also ended up losing the luggage they were holding hostage. Cons: "Our flight was delayed which caused us to miss our international connection. Flight attendants did not care, did not attempt to get us out faster, or put on a different flight. Asked for an announcement to be made on board or to be moved to seats closer to the front so we could get off the plane quicker, did not happen. Offboarded and sprinted across the airport for our international connection and was notified by gate attendents that the gate closed five minutes ago and that they could not let us on the plane. Meanwhile, the plane sat there for an additional 30 minutes while it fueled and waited for release from air traffic control. There were six travelers total stuck there in San Fran at that gate, all of us begging to be let on the plane to Beijing, the last one for over 24 hours. Zero compassion from staff at the the airline gate. They did not care about us and did not care about leaving their travelers stranded. Our total travel was Denver to Bangkok, 26 hours of travel including layovers in San Fran and Beijing. In San Fran (after missing the gate connection), we were rerouted us through Haiwaii and the customer service agent that did this reroute did not finish the reroute to our final destination. We got to Haiwaii and were stranded again, at the Air China service desk for four hours having to once again provide documentation of our initial travel plans to Bangkok, having them build a new itinerary to our final destination. Overall, 20 additional travel hours have been added to our itinerary, almost double our initial travel time. We have had to call and cancel pre-arranged bookings in Thailand as we are now missing two full days off our trip. I am absolutely disappointed and heart broken as I write this still stuck in the Beijing airport waiting another six hours to connect to Bangkok. My fiancé and I were traveling to Thailand to get married and have received no compassion from anyone at this airline to try and get us there. I am flat out disgusted by Air China."

When the plane landed they just parked it in the lot and made us walk down the stairs and take a bus. We had a connection in 60 minutes to make it due to this flight coming in late. With the whole bus nonsense we had to wait for everyone else to get off the plane and they made us go through customs and security (even though i called before and they confirmed we wouldn't have to) and we had to run to our next flight and barely made it right before the gates closed. Oh and they never turned off the fasten seatbelt sign ever even though it was calm."

I missed my flight to the US due to this cancellation without reimbursement from Air China."
Cons: "I missed my first flight due to heavy fog in Nanchang and the highways were closed, so when I arrived, they wanted to charge my $2000 to change all of my flights. After 2 hours of excruciating battle, they agreed to let me buy another flight to beijing for $400 and I could meet my originally scheduled 2nd flight to the USA. USA airlines would NEVER charge this outrageous price if a flight was missed to to being out of my control. Will never fly Air china again."
Pros: "I'm happy to be back in the U.S. safely. Thanks to the crew for their expertise!"
Cons: "Coming back to the U.S., the food was not prepared well; something was wrong with the noodles. The salad didn't taste good. The fruits were okay The flight attendant was supposed to help me with setting the entertainment, but she never came back."
Cons: "Too rigid. I was asked to open windows even though I said the glair was strong on my eyes since I was sick. Not a friendly crew. Noticed they only offered drinks once in a 13 hour flight. Food quite bad."
Pros: "The flight was full in economy so they upgraded me to economy plus. The extra space was great and I appreciated getting the space that I could not afford otherwise. Thanks, Air China"
Pros: "The on boarding process was quick and efficient at Songyuan airport. Very clean airport, and pleasant staff. Plane had decent legroom in the economy seating. Food was decent for short flight airplane food."
Cons: "Airline crew never gave any status updates about why the flight was not getting ready for takeoff after everyone was seated and the planes doors closed. Sat there waiting for +30 minutes with no updates. Flight crew never gave immigration cards. Deplaning was a nightmare because we had to deplane in several groups because it was raining and the Hongqiao airport would not let us deplane through a jetway."
Cons: "No food for purchase. Rude service, lots of rules on board. Small movie selection."

Cons: "Airline lost my luggage, arrived at my destination for a few day without any change of clothes and hygiene essaintials. I hope I'm not missing any items once I received my missing luggage, on day three."
Cons: "Wouldn't let us bring liquids on the plane and didn't go around enough with water."
