Pros: Free wi fi internet
Cons: The flight was delayed over 3hrs
Pros: Free wi fi internet
Cons: The flight was delayed over 3hrs
Pros: Seats were great! Legroom was great and im 6’4” Plane was mostly empty due to COVID-19
Cons: It’s a five hour flight and no food, beverages, snacks!!!
Pros: Like jet blue
Cons: Movies didnt work
Cons: No wifi or TV.
Pros: Sat exit row, mega leg room!
Cons: Flight delayed due to another flight mechanical problem. 4 hour delay
Pros: I like the ear plugs and face mask.
Pros: JetBlue it have a lot more space for your and it was on time too but this morning the rain delay us a bit because they close one of the run way so it was not easy to get out
Pros: seat comfortable
Pros: Excellent legroom
Cons: More smiles and friendlier attendants.
Cons: I’m so sick of people abusing the overhead bins with their multiple items. It’s your plane, do something about it
Pros: flight was in 1 hour early!!! not over crowded.. flight crew was nice
Cons: baggage fees are ridiculous. tvs are old and hardly work.
Pros: The flight staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: There was no staff to check people in until 6pm. There was a line of people waiting for an hour or more who wanted to check in a bit early. Then they announced that all domestic travelers had to use a kiosk. The desk check in was only for international flights. I’m a low tech person and can’t operate kiosks well. I miss being served peanuts with my drinks.
Pros: Snacks. Crew.
Cons: Not many movie options. Delayed flight
Pros: Quick flight in the air
Cons: No updates on how far back we were in the queue at LAS. Waiting 15 mins for a gate at LGB
Pros: Plenty of leg room. Very comfortable
Pros: The on time departure and arrival, courtesy of the staff, availability of snacks, cleanliness of aircraft , and availability of entertainment, were all excellent features.
Cons: There is nothing that I did not like.
Pros: I like passing through TSA Pre and being in Group A
Cons: As a Group A ticket holder, I didn't like checking my bag at the gate.
Pros: Agents were informative and they really put themselves out to ensure we were comfortable although our flight was super delayed.
Cons: Hated the fact we were delayed for so long.
Pros: The staff attempted to keep us informed with the little information they were receiving about the flight delays.
Cons: We arrived in Long Beach a little delayed like maybe 15 minutes. We sat in the plane not being directed to a gate for over 35 minutes. It was not the flair of Jet Blue or their staff. It appeared as we exited the plane that the delay was because the airport employees had all gone home!!!
Cons: I was confused of $15 upgrade
Pros: I’m not sure if I was just lucky or if it was the time of day, but I got to the Las Vegas airport I was at my gate in a matter of minutes, I’ll give credit to the staff for keeping the flow moving. The plane had lots of space I wasn’t cramped and the stewardess was friendly and polite and seemed genuine. Next thing you know in walking out of the plane, out of Long Beach airport. Feels like I waited longer for my ride to pick me up.
Cons: I wish that the airline had a power outlet so I could of charged my phone during flight.
Pros: Quick flight 45 mins so pretty good as in got in quick got out quick
Cons: Flight was very bumpy for a few mins. Almost scarey. WiFi was free but sucked. Most of the entertainment screens didn’t work. Lucky it was a quick flight
Pros: Way eaiser than traveling to or from LAX!! Long Beach Airport Terminal is super clean and easy to navigate through. I was traveling on an AirBus 320 and was suprised at how much leg run there was! Could not be happier! I plan on using Jet Blue for future travel plans!
Pros: I'm new to Jet Blue but so far I appreciate how quick and easy all the processes are and so far haven't had issues with lengthy delays.
Cons: There hasn't; been any consistency with the snack options. some flights have 3-4 options and other flights just 2. I'm have celiac so having gluten free options is always nice but frequently not available.
Pros: Free, fast WiFi is always welcome and helps makes the journey much more civilized. The seats were extremely comfortable, more so than the newer planes in JetBlue’s fleet.
Cons: Only one drinks service, flight attendants were absent for the latter half of the flight and final sweep of the cabin was below 10,000 feet. Drinks not so generously poured. Old plane has tiny low quality screens.
Pros: The AC was not working properly or not properly set by the crew. There was warm Air coming out of the vents and it was impossible to sleep on this redeye flight because people were sweating... horrible flight.
Cons: The flight did not have enough headphones for in-flight movies. Our tv screens also did not work well.
Pros: Friendly crew, comfortable flight as expected. Clear communication by the crew to keep the pasenger at easy, when pilot had to suddenly call off the landing attempt due to unexpected traffic congestion up ahead.
Cons: The delay in departure. The LCD touch panel user interface seems outdated, not very responsive, not easy to use (time for a refresh?). Wanted to check map of current flight path, but took forever to load and couldnt figure out how to zoom in. Seat comfortable, but would be even better if you can add one of those headrest flaps that bends outward on the right and the left edges to lean my head on so that I can take quick naps more comfortably.
Pros: Leg room
Cons: The flight was delayed 4 hours. We were already inside the plane. The crew member said you can go out and buy something to eat and use the restroom. My husband and my baby left when they tried to comeback in the plane they were not allowed by the lady on the counter who was very rude. We are very very disappointed with a Jet blue
Cons: The fight was delayed 6 hours and the pilot even left for us to wait for another pilot to fly in.
Cons: Passenger behind me was throwing up the whole ride and the steward did nothing about it let it all over the island left the people around them
Pros: watching a current movie. was traveling with an elder and the staff (all of the staff) were very helpful in accommodating her needs. It was a fairly new plane and was comfortable and enough leg room fro someone who is 5'1" which believe it or not is not true for all airlinnes
Cons: I hate having to go through security even with TSA pre check. I would like to go back to when flying was fun.
Pros: The Airline was able to sit us all together in the same rows. That was important to us as a company to keep everyone together
Pros: Everything about the flight was fine, and I was especially pleased that we boarded and disembarked through TWO doors in Long Beach: one in front and one aft.
Cons: Both flights were quite delayed. It’s good that I wasn’t on a tight schedule.
Cons: None of the movies that appear on the website for this tupe of aiecraft, on this route , were actually available on either on the flights. if i knew that was the case i would have booked with another airline.
Pros: Length of flight
Cons: Not much
Pros: I was running short on time to finish my work in the city before my JetBlue flight. I called to see if it would be possible to reschedule - they made it so painless! They were happy to put me on a later flight and there were many options, and for a very low change fee. I definitely got lucky with availability and really appreciated how painless they made the experience!!!
Pros: The crew - both flight attendants and pilots - on the Las Vegas to NYC leg of the trip, were phenomenal! Friendly, humorous, the best I've seen on a flight.
Pros: The crew going to Vegas were very friendly.
Cons: The flight to Vegas WiFi and TVs were not workingand snacks were horrible. on the flight home from Vegas plane was delayed the snacks were horrible I usually have good experiences with JetBlue but this time it was not a good experience.
Cons: The flight was delayed by 1hour and 40 min. One hour at the boarding gate and 40min on the airstrip. Pilot said we were overweight. When we landed at 730 vs 557 we still had a delay because our gate was occupied causing a greater dalay. Due ro this delay I was late to work. The flight attendee making the announcements might have been new because she kept messing up what she was saying and shouting and mumbling through the speaker. I usually have amazing flights with jetblue but I'm highly disappointed with this flight.
Pros: The crew are ok
Cons: I didn't like the fact that we get delayed by over 4 hours! I was in the hotel and got the email and it said still go to the airport and follow the times on 8:59am flying time even though you have been delayed just incase so I spent 3 hours extra when u could have been in the hotel room and that's it all you get is a sorry. Disappointed, no explanation nothing
Cons: I was on the same flight from Long Beach to Oakland as the one I got to Long Beach in. I had to get off the plane, to get right back on, in my same seat. kind of annoying
Cons: This was my first time flying and I will never fly JetBlue again the service was terrible and the delays were ridiculous. When I asked for an explanationed the staff was less than helpful.
Pros: I never took a red eye before so I slept the whole trip. Super comfy seats. Arrival right on time.
Cons: The ticket said speed but it didnt get me seated any faster.
Pros: Friendliness and quality of staff
Cons: I had to pay for my flight. I really hate that. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about Jet Blue LOL
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: On my way from sfo to Las, my flight was 2 hours delayed. On my way back from Las to sfo, my flight was 2 hours delayed. The airlines did nothing to compensate for the inconvenience
Pros: I loved that they boarded from the back of the plane first. It is so much more efficient. They also deplaned from both the front and the back which also made getting off the plane quicker. Lots of legroom. Looks like they have comp wifi.
Cons: 1 flight attendant was a little grumpy. The plane could be a little cleaner.
Pros: 3 hr delay
Pros: They were on time.
Cons: They pack the flights with minimal service.
Cons: Carry on all snacks & water.
Pros: We landed safely
Cons: SERVE FOOD!!!! all other airlines are serving and if your serving in first class, then clearly you do not care about the well-being of coach passengers. You can use touch less systems for paying . Don’t be cheap. We’re already paying. I’m losing interest in American air.
Pros: Free movies
Cons: Start boarding earlier
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Food, drinks deboarding is awful, just awful experience
Cons: Flight Attendant should dis infect the lavatory everytime a customer uses since they have plenty of downtime (no longer serving refreshments).
Cons: The experience was excellent.
Pros: Crew was helpful and fine.
Cons: Don’t delay all your flights American Airlines. They are never on time.
Pros: Crew and food and drink options fine. Comfort level in First Class much lower that expected. Update the aricraft please!!
Cons: Couldn't recline the seat very far. No USB outlet. No multimedia options. Get into the 21st century!!
Pros: SEAT ok
Cons: AA1792 from Dallas to Cincinnati on 6/8/19 had no air conditioning. It was miserable. The brakes needed repair, too. No passengers seated in the premium exit aisle seats.
Pros: I had a passenger next to me with a very heavy perfume scent
Cons: Is ok
Pros: Boarding was very quick and easy. There was plenty of room for everyone's cary on luggage. The movie selection was vast and encompassing.
Cons: The seat was really uncomfortable even if reclined all the way. If the person in front of you is reclined, then you basically have to recline yourself to see the screen. Very little leg room.
Pros: Sat in the upgraded seats or I would have not enjoyed it as usual. I am very tall and flying is never pleasant. The 737 on the way out was terrible and shouldn’t be used on flights more than 2-3 hours. On the way back a much more comfortable 767. But again, upgraded seats only made it bearable.
Cons: Their on board entertainment wasn’t working and apparently it only works intermittently. The live tv worked, but they only offer live news channels. Otherwise. Not much different than any other airline today. None are “good” any more. All about squeezing more people in smaller and smaller seats.
Cons: Missed my flight because they left before the scheduled time. I was there prior to the scheduled time and they had already left. Won’t fly American again...they said “we put it on your boarding pass that the doors close 10 minutes prior to the departure time”. Not on the electronic boarding pass I had on my phone. Who gets a paper boarding pass anymore?
Pros: I liked the room.
Cons: There was no entertainment. Could not get seats together.
Cons: Paid for gogoinflight, then is had a big error red screen, that said keep trying back in a few minutes. Never worked. Was not happy. Long flight.
Pros: Everything went smoothly, they gave us two snacks and earbuds and had a lot to watch for free.
Cons: The wifi was useless.
Cons: Missed connection due to AA gate agent not holding for a couple of minutes for connecting passengers. Also was given incorrect connnecting gate number. Resulted in extra flight and 5 more hours of travel in overnight trip. Also had maintenance delay on earlier AA flight.
Pros: flight on time
Cons: not enough room for carry on luggages to think we had small carry on luggages; very bad experience had to open our carry on because we had valuables and was placed in plastic bags coz our carry ons were checked in all the way to Sydney...very very bad american airlines!!!
Pros: Not much
Cons: Passengers bringing hot food on plane. KFC and McDonalds odours major in first 30 minutes
Pros: We boarded on time and we departed on time. We got into Chicago 30 minutes early. We recently acquired a AA credit card and we got 2 checked bags free and priority boarding (Group 5). In today's world your need priority boarding of some sort on AA or you risk not being able to store you bags in the overhead and may have to get it checked free to your final destination. Also, one of our checked bags had a painting in it that we purchased and the bag and painting arrived unharmed. Good job by AA baggage handlers.
Cons: Cramped seating. Airlines seem to be moving seats closer together to be able to hold more passengers.
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Staff at the check-in counter made fun of my surname. Bad start but not noteworthy unless combined with the rest of the experience. The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory.
Pros: Quick, efficient
Cons: No food.
Pros: Good leg room
Cons: 5 plus hour flight and one movie as entertainment option shown on a tiny screen from cabin headliner. Like in the 1980’s. and do not forget your headphones or you will be buying some earbuds!
Pros: It was finally on time.
Cons: Being given the, “run around” by American Airlines.
Pros: Wide seats
Cons: Mo food service
Pros: An early morning flight and all went well.
Cons: I found out at the airport the day we were leaving for Spain that my daughter's passport had to be valid for 3 Months after we returned home from our trip. When booking a flight out of the country it would be nice if Air .com could of mention that to me. We were trying to get to a cruise we had already paid for that was going out of Spain. They would not work with me at all and cx my whole booking. When I tried to talk to them on the phone the man could not speak very good English and was not making any since at all. I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out.
Pros: Nice crew
Cons: Slow and confusing boarding process
Pros: Plenty of room in first class. Flight crew was efgicient
Cons: Flight was not catered, therefore we ended up with only a small cup of water. It wasn't worth the upgrade to first class. Also, the upgrade indicated our luggage would be a priority at baggage claim. We had connection to make for an international flight, but here I sight at baggage claim 1...waiting and waiting.
Pros: I appreciated the fact that I kept getting flight delay updates....
Cons: I purchased the earliest flight of the day from Vegas to Los Angeles so I could be in LA by 11am so I could attend the 1pm Dodger game at dodger stadium... ( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am.... I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ....
Pros: It got me home in one piece.
Cons: The flight was delayed after some passengers began boarding. The boarding process was also all over the place. When i finally got on the plane, the seats were very uncomfortable and I felt like a sardine being crammed into a small tin. the crew was at best, mediocre and boring. The in flight snack was two crappy pieces of cookie? Or was that a cracker? I did not eat it. The entertainment was one shared screen that I did not have a headset for, nor was I offered a headset, free or for a fee. The screen in front of me was too close and the screen behind that was further away and barely able to see it. I choose not to watch it for these reasons. The landing was rough at the end, everyone jolted forward when we hit the ground.
Pros: The Ticket agent was very helpful and friendly. The air crew and Flight Attendants were very nice and helpful. The wheel chair attendant who initially took me to my gate in Las Vegas was very friendly, and helpful, and she did everything she could possibly have done, short of leaving another passenger to come take care of me, which wouldn't have been right. I was there when she called her supervisor and advised him/her of my location and of my needs and she received confirmation. Was not her fault.
Cons: I checked in with American and a wheel chair attendant assisted me to my gate. My wheel chair needed charged and I was two hours early, so the attendant sat me at the charging station because there were no outlets in the gate area. She contacted her supervisor to advise of my location and that I would need assistance. Nobody came for me. I gathered my things the best I could and struggled to get to the gate to get attitude from the gate agent, telling me the wheel chair attendant was there looking for me. What ever happen to using a paging system when you know the passenger who is disabled checked in two hours earlier? Had someone paged, maybe I could have flagged their attention, or maybe they could have called the company in charge of handling their wheel chair attendance and would have known where I could be located. Either way, the attitude is uncalled for, especially when I apologized and stated that the wheel chair attendant was expected to help me.
Pros: The crew was friendly and efficient.
Cons: Paying for extra legroom, delays, being told the flight may be canceled if we didn't leave by a certain time, no beverage service
Pros: In seat entertainment
Cons: Boarding sequence
Pros: Ontime boarding and helpful friendly crew,
Cons: Seats have no lower back support and are crowded entertainment does not support many android devices especially kindle
Cons: I hated that my flight got delayed for over an hour and I was not informed of this delay. I had people waiting at the airport to pick me up so it would've been beneficial for me to know of the delay.
Cons: My flight was delayed almost 2 hours and when I went to ask the lady at the kiosk a question I was basically told to go sit doWn and be quiet
Pros: Crew was very helpful and courteous.
Cons: Nickeling and dimming by the airline -- extra fee for baggage checked -- by the way, airline broke the suitcase; very slow in Las Vegas to get the bags to the right carousel. -- took an extra 45 minutes because airline kept changing carousels. I' m frustrated wit the airline's reservations for seats -- none unless you pay extra. Flying (especially with American Airlines) used to be a pleasant experience. Now it is very hectic -- no reserved seats, cramped seats, little/ no food. I'll drive from now on.
Pros: The crew was friendly
Cons: We sat behind a 3 year old child. Very loud screaming jumping. Parent did not have control over child. The stewardess did not seem bothered. The longest most miserable flight EVER!!!!
Pros: Crew was excellent
Cons: Seats were rough and I didn't understand the process of selecting seating for the return trip, so my wife and I had to sit 10 rows apart a few days after we got married.
Pros: Flight atrived early and was very quick.
Cons: 3 dollars for the messenger wifi program when they activated it for like 20 mins max
Pros: Crew was quite attentive and professional.
Cons: Ground time after leaving the gate was over 30 minutes. Much too long!
Pros: On tome
Cons: 2hour and 45minute layovet
Pros: The flight was short.
Cons: Once again my flight was delayed, this time 50 minutes!! . Last time i had to stop in Vegas I got stuck there overnigh because my flight had been delayed and to mKe things worse they also managed to Miss my flights connection in Miami after they had booked me a new flight.. With a window seat that had no window. I old the flight attendant that I needed help stowing my backpack in the overhead bin, not because it was that heavy or big, but because the previous flight had been 5 hrs long and after being stuck in the middle seat my back was killing me and lifting my bag over my head would have triggered a muscle spasm. I have a back condition and they refused to help me. She would not even hear me out and insisted on me to check my bag, which I refused to because my laptop and tablet were in there without propper padding to protect them. The same flight attendant had already yelled at a passanger and was making a scene that made several other passengers uncomfortable. i understand the flight was full and they were delayed enough, but the airline clients should not have to pay for the airline's mistakes.
Pros: No one was sitting beside me.
Cons: Better snacks
Pros: The seat was uncomfortable and the flight was full. The crew was okay. Friendly enough.
Cons: Next time I will fly first class.. More legroom
Pros: The crew was nice. Quick flight.
Cons: They used a crappy old plane. The seats were very worn. It was obviously a really old aircraft. For first class I should have flown coach. No drink offered upon boarding. Just very minimal with the high price attached.
Pros: Everything was cool, smooth flight
Pros: Boarding and deplaning was organized and efficient.
Cons: The flight was completely full, including every middle seat. It did NOT feel safe to have a completely full flight during COVID. Some passengers kept on taking off their masks to talk to each other, completely defeating the purpose of the mask. I will not fly United again during COVID.
Pros: Plane was clean, newish interior and my economy plus seat was comfortable. I did take a red eye, and there was WiFi & power, which was a huge plus, but there was no seat back entertainment like on the way out. That may be by design so people are encouraged to sleep, but it still would have nice to know that want available on the plane. Was happy that a carry on and personal item was a trip option, that was awesome. Bathrooms were very clean. Communication was excellent regarding flight status, fullness of flights, upgrade options, etc.
Cons: Boarding on the way out was efficient, overall great, but on the way home, it was slow, tedious and at times utter chaos. There were several near altercations on the plane over seat assignments. The size water bottle passed out for a 5 hour flight could have been more generous. No food offered due to Covid.
Pros: All overall good
Cons: There’s no much to improve, beside the Covid19 situation, everything was good
Pros: I liked the fact that there were screens at each seat
Cons: I was extremely disappointed to be in the very last row and unable to recline. I had emailed and requested an aisle seat when I booked because I would need to express milk and get back and forth to the bathroom. I was told I would need to pay for the option to request a seat. Ridiculous! This was my first trip away from my 4 month old and I simply wanted to be comfortable. Instead I had to sit in the worst seat on the plane without even being able to easily get out to wash my hands before pumping.
Cons: Was 4 hours late
Cons: Great flight
Pros: Crew was excellent. Seats are small
Cons: Nothing. It was it is.
Pros: On time departure and early arrival
Cons: Boarding process
Pros: The plane had lots of leg room.
Cons: Punctuality. The plane left the gate more than 30 minutes after scheduled departure time.
Cons: Another plane took our gate and our flight was stuck on the tarmac for 10 minutes.
Pros: Courteous professional service Good landing Flight was on time
Cons: Food can be improved Better entertainment
Cons: Headphone jack did not work
Cons: Unclear indication and mediocre service to register for the flight and to load our luggage
Pros: The crew was excellent. They were professional, efficient and very accommodating. The pilot was also excellent. He kept us informed of the status of the flight throughout the trip.
Cons: The plane was terrible. The seats are so close together that you cannot move. The aisle is so narrow that one person can barely down it. Forget it if you have to pass by someone. The bathroom too is so small that you cannot move in it. It’s so uncomfortable. The new boarding process is just dumb. And to make matters worse they don’t even bother to check the boarding groups when you board. I had a person in a later boarding group in front of me and they let her on anyway — so what’s the point of having boarding groups. They should just go back to boarding from the rear of the plane first - that is the most efficient and quick way to do it. The so called entertainment is a joke. There is a very small choice of movies/TV shows to watch and that’s it. The free wi-fi gets you nowhere.
Pros: The flight got delayed however, it went well once in the air. Some turbulence on account of the weather but the crew were very friendly. We got free TV on account of the delay.
Cons: Awful experience. Flight was delayed two hours, employees are rude and we got NOTHING on flight
Pros: The flight was smooth and not completely full, which left me with a row to myself.
Pros: On time
Cons: No snavks
Pros: It was fast and eazy!
Cons: Rare but we were forced to wait 27 mins in Las Vegas because there was too much "flow" or incoming planes to San Fran.
Cons: Our flight was delayed and there was a really long line of passengers trying to switch connecting flights. There were two women working at the counter. One of their shifts was over. She called her manager and said she was willing to work later to handle the crowd, but the manager does not want to pay overtime so she was told to leave. So one woman was left to handle the massive line all by herself. I stood in line over two hours. I believe if someone is willing to help out that would have been the best solution.
Cons: Had to pay 70 bux extra for a seat number. Also the outlet that was provided as a perk had an unusual fitting. Additionally, the adapter was not for sale.
Pros: The fact that the flight was very smooth, easy landing and we were on the same flight with our friends.
Cons: I felt, cramped in my seat, NO DARN SNACKS for a 4-hour flight, no TV/MOVIE and why do you only give customers a half can of soda/juice????
Cons: Flight got delayed, they said "no one transfer will be affected " then I paid $450 for a flight with a bag on the cabin They made me check the bag! It doesn't seem a lot , but wen the flight got delayed landing at 6:59 and you have a bus at 7:10 to work makes the difference!
Cons: Flight was delayed by 90+ minuets
Pros: Not much
Cons: My flight from Las Vegas to San Fran was scheduled for 0756. Everyone boarded the aircraft the we were pushed on to the tarmac and sat for 1 hr. Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue, but I had a connecting international flight which I missed boarding for. Consequently, I had to spend the night in San Fran which was not compensated by the airline, and I was forced to miss a business rendezvous I had arranged.
Pros: It got us from a to b but not much more to be said!
Cons: The idea of the entertainment system broadcast to your hand held device is fine - it didn't work for me though.
Pros: The crew was great and loved being able to board first with my baby without paying extra.
Cons: The five hour delay was insane and unorganized.
Cons: Tail # N75435 Boeing 737-900 .... not the best bird in the fleet right now. Took nearly half the flight to get internet going, and in-seat power was not working at all.
Cons: Very cool staring at the gates... only 5 of them and no crew to bring us in. Even the shortest flights on Alaska or any other airline had cabin service. No drinks and no snacks from San Francisco. Alaska had complimentary beer and wine on a shorter flight from.Medford to Portland and even Portland to Seattle, but United can't even get us to the gate... let alone have any sort of in-flight service. Why is this so expensive again. I would compare flying these commercial named flights to a horrible carnival. Lack luster, over priced and not worth it. Cans vs. Uber... the world is changing my friends.
Pros: Departed on time and arrived early.
Cons: Southwest has much better experience.
Cons: Ticket check in employee was extremely rude. Put me on stand by for the next flight even though they were still letting people onto my original flight.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and professional. The flight also arrived early.
Cons: If you're going to offer personal device entertainment, you need to offer power outlets. How is that not common sense?
Cons: The crew was kind and we boarded quickly however the seats were small. Which mean when your 3.5 hour flight turns into 9 hours due to weather this can become very painful. There is no entertainment unless you brought your own device and without a plug to charge it becomes useless quickly.
Pros: The snack mix. The power outlets underneath my seat.
Cons: The steward wasn't very friendly and had a curt attitude when I had any requests for water and a refill of water. I didn't like that you needed the United app in order to watch in flight entertainment. That should be specified before getting on the plane because had I known I would have downloaded it to watch movies. Rather you MUST purchase the internet to download the app once in the air and that was just frustrating to find out an hour into a 5 hour flight. The lack of snacks. There is no variety, I had no idea what I was getting and the offerings they did have felt very restricted. Leg room was atrocious. Especially because we had no overhead room to store our backpacks which meant we had to place it under the chair in front of us. I am relatively tall so I wanted to stretch out my feet under the chair in front of me but they had to straddle my fat backpack and the gentleman who sat in front of me was very large and he kept kicking and hitting my feet underneath his chair.
Cons: Ended up sitting on the tarmac for 30-40 minutes. Many people almost missed or did miss flights.
Pros: Staff were courteous and I greatly appreciate not being charged for a beverage!!!
Cons: The Denver airport was chaotic and the trains were totally messed up!!
Pros: Flight was delayed but arrived only 1/2 hour later. Check in was smooth. Plane was rather old and not enough leg space.
Cons: One of the flight attendants with brown shoulder length hair was very rude to another passenger because the passenger only spoke Spanish. She was very nice to anyone who was white or good looking. Then the pilot said thanks for flying the friendly skies. Really?
Cons: The first leg of my flight, the Madison to Chicago portion, the flight attendant was rude and most unhelpful. We were flying a smaller play and my carry on would not fit in the small overhead compartments. When I informed him of this, and let him know I was getting off the plane to have my bag stowed he was very rude. When I returned back to my seat he made a snide comment to me ask well. The other 3 flights were great, flight attendants were great and no concerns or complaints.
Pros: Connections were on time. Staff was nice.
Cons: Wish I had a shorter wait in Denver. I had a 3-hour wait between my Las Vegas landing and take off for Omaha. Very tired.
Pros: flight landed early
Cons: Aflight less than 2 hours should NOT charge for direct TV. you competitors dont charge
Cons: Did not get a receipt/mail of booking, had to call to make sure the flight was actually booked.
Pros: The crew wasvprofessional and very helpful
Pros: The crew were very nice from Vegas to KC. The crew from KC to Vegas were not so nice 😕
Pros: Boarding and crew
Cons: WiFi, movies, food
Pros: Crew was very nice.
Cons: They really packed us in like sardines and did not enforce any mask-wearing.
Cons: Spirit is horrible and I will not use Kayak again either do to this terrible experience.
Cons: Free baggage and seats
Pros: On time great flight!
Cons: Always more FREE leg room!!! You
Pros: Pilot is very nice for this one. Reached 20 minutes early. 10/10
Pros: Cheap ticket
Cons: More comfy , WiFi would have been great even if we had to pay for it
Pros: No wifi available. Seats do not recline. That bites.
Cons: Provide wifi to travelers.
Cons: Lo peor no se lo recomiendo a nadie , me cobraron 71 uds por la maleta de mano y dos mascaras !
Pros: The crew did a good job for a short flight.
Cons: I’ve been in uncomfortable seats before on other airlines. However I’ve never been in seats that didn’t recline at least a small degree. When they say Budget airline, they mean it. The plane literally felt like it was going to fall apart on takeoff and landing. Rattling from multiple Compartments and the worst whining of the engine I’ve ever heard. It was a bit unsettling as well as unnecessary. If the mechanics can’t quiet things down and tighten the compartments to stop things from making that much racket then Spirit needs to take the plane out of commission. Not a smooth quiet flight for sure. It would be hard to recommend Spirit airlines to anyone.
Cons: Could not fault Spirit Airline. They are clear and open about extra charges. Joining their reward club is beneficial if doing multiple flights with the airline.
Cons: We got delayed like 5 hours the crew was rude and the seats were uncomfortable
Cons: No assistance with check in process. Two out of two flights more than 45 minutes late. $100 for two checked bags. Even charged $5 for water on flight.
Cons: Horrible airlines, I’ll never book with you again. My hour flight I booked in advance was overbooked, so they gave me a different flight. The new flight had a 10 hour layover. I asked to be refunded so I could book a ticket with another airlines and was told tickets are non refundable. You overbooked and then make me pay for your mistake. Spent 2 hours on the phone attempting to get it resolved and no luck. Worst customer service ever. Save your money don’t book through kayak for or spirt airlines. Next time I’ll pay extra to book directly through United!
Cons: 1. Flippant staff - it is not "hip" to be rude 2. We felt hostage on this plane. Not even water is available for free. 3. We ended up paying A LOT more for this flight, which is supposed to be a super economy flight. My bad for not understanding how gosh darn cheap this airline is. Had to pay even for carry on and to even get a seat assignment. Thia is NOT a family friendly airline. 4. Web site is all about bait and switch. When I logged on, initial rates low, then when I signed in, all rates increased.
Cons: We paid for the luggage when checking in, arrive to airport had to pay again because "the system" did not see it even we show them the bank statement showing the charge is pending. No even free cup of water for 2h20 long flight. Seat was so uncomfortable, and it remind of meat packing bus in India. My friend get charge $100 per carry on luggage because they "THINK" it was too big even though after you paid you still have to carry it on airplane and fit in the overhead compartment, what a highway robber. We thought we got a deal because the ticket is cheap but they DO find a way, or two, to steal more money from you. Never ever will I flight with this airline again.
Cons: They are cheap, at first, but it will cost you. You have to pay for bags. (If you fly Southwest you don't have to pay for bags). Our flight got canceled. Like many others did. We were stuck at the airport for 12 hours. Their lack of professionalism, customer service and empathy made the experience worse. They're policy is that they do not accommodate - ever. Intel from the airport says they are always having problems. Say they constantly cancel flights and that they come up with different excuses as to why. This time was the storm which had already passed and had not affected many of the destinations people were flying in or out of.
Pros: The plane had wings and a tail and the engines did turn. That's about it.
Cons: The plane was delayed for hours. We were originally scheduled to land in Seattle at 12:59 am but didn't get to our destination until 2:30 am. They did give us a voucher for 50 dollars if we fly them again. Not likely at this time. The pre paid baggage fees for the first bag was 39 dollars and this is cheaper than buying it at the ticket counter which the price goes up to over 50 dollars. They are a low fair airline if you don't have luggage, want peanuts or a cookie, a drink or care if you get to your destination on time. The return trip was this one. The original flight took us 6 hours to go from Seattle to Vegas. That was a real bad flight.
Pros: The crew was professional and positive.
Cons: The pilot was helpful in communicating most of the issues but didn't follow up with explanations for all of the issues. I did hear him provide further info in the terminal. That info would have been better if it was heard by all of the passengers. The issues were out of Spirit Air's control. The gate/desk staff could have avoided many problems if they gave an announcement. Instead they had to repeat the same message to most of the passengers trying to find out next steps or a resolution. The line would have been cut by 90%. My biggest issue was all of the extra costs that weren't communicated by Kayak. After incurring multiple extra costs I am NOW aware of the rules.
Pros: The plane seemed to have more room per seat than other airlines I have travelled with.
Cons: The check-in line was extremely long but the stay was working hard to get everyone through in a timely manner. Also pre-check-in was frustrating from the hotel, which may have been an internet connection problem. But when I called to ask a question it was very difficult and frustrating trying to get an actual person on the phone. Additionally he told me it would not cost extra to check-in at the airport but your website said otherwise. You might want tok get the staff and website on the same page.
Pros: The crew was nice and I didn't get "taken out". They were good.
Cons: The seats were uncomfortable. Most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on (first time with spirit, coincidence?) and the jerk couple in the first class seats in front of me, cause me at 6 foot got put behind first class, kept their seats reclined the whole way back the whole time. It was awful. I had zero leg room. Cramped legs the whole time. Couldn't sleep on the red eye flight because of it. I hate you spirit. Never seen a flight have seats right behind the only damn reclining seats in the whole plane.
Pros: not much...will not travel again on Spiritl
Cons: 1) Seats not comfortable to sleep, no push back (was on red eye flight) 2) Delayed coming back from Vegas 3) I was trying to select a seat next to my friend and had to pay for getting seats together 4) Pay for every possible service (glad i don't have to pay for bathroom as of now) and not as cheap ticket to Vegas. 5) Felt like being treated like school kid (disciplined) when read about how baggage fares change with time to $100 @ gate. (too much). Too much to worry when I want a pleasure travel... 6) I will never travel on spirit for more than 2 hr flight time and that too when i have a great deal (that compensates for seats, luggage etc.,)
Cons: I spoke with a customer service rep and requested to cancel round trip from Seattle to Las Vegas; I was told that they had to be cancelled separately, so I did this and was told that both were cancelled and because I had called in a timely manner I would not be charged. This transaction was friendly and helpful; however, apparently not completed accurately. Three weeks later: Only my one trip TO Vegas was cancelled; my return flight home was not. When I again called Spirit, Jenki (sp?) answered the phone and told me I hadn't cancelled in enough time and would be charged for the trip and could not cancel the return leg home. I protested and was told they would review my phone conversation. They did not call me back, but I will be calling again later today to see if I can get credit (although I don't want to use them again in any case). Very disappointed with the service.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Were unable to get boarding pass at check-in desk unless an extra fee was paid; instead was required to get boarding pass at kiosk. Doors to plane were closed 30 minutes prior to scheduled flight time (the flight was delayed through no fault of Spirit; not blaming them for the additional wait at the flight gate). Distance between seats is smaller than on other airlines; quite uncomfortable. Baggage fee was excessive; We checked our baggage even though it was carry-on size because it cost even more to bring a carry-on. No frills is an understatement.....even beverage service was not included in cost. Spirit is no bargain even though it looks like they are the cheapest when you book the flight. I made the mistake of forgetting how miserable Spirit flights are, lured by the "cheap" fare. Will not forget and accidentally use them again!
Pros: How inexpensive and quick the flight was.
Cons: From the minute I walked into the airport to the spirit counter, all the check in machines were down. I don't fly often so when one of the ladies at the counter said something about checked bags that I didn't understand and I asked her about it she was kind of rude giving her response. The food was expensive and the flight attendant was bitchy. Why don't your seats recline?! And there was gum stuck in pretty much every book (the plane instructions manual, the menu) I get that you get a good deal flying spirit but I feel like your flight attendants hate their jobs.
Pros: My trip once in Las Vegas was great, however my experience flying with Spirit was the worst for my girlfriend and I. We tried to pay our luggage fees from home but weren't able to do so from our mobile phones, they charged us each $55 for one piece of luggage & they only allow you 40 pounds. Then once at the gate & before boarding the plane they told me I had to pay $65 for my small carry on, it fitted perfectly in their sample measurement they have there & still the woman from Spirit told me if you want to get on the plane you need to pay $65 now or you'll lose the flight. Same for coming back. They didn't even allowed us to sit together. So initially the flight was apparently cheap but with all the expensive luggage fees came up to $500 RT from BWI to Vegas. Worst experience ever! I've flown all over & with many airlines & this has been the worst experience ever, I'm never flying with them again & same for my girlfriend.
Pros: This is the second time I made the mistake of choosing spirit airlines. They are so disorganized and have terrible customer service. We bought two tickets and the boarding pass showed the tickets to be in completely different parts of the plane. When we asked the agent to fix this issue she said she can't do anything about it. When we got to our gate we asked the agent if she could do something about it and when she checked the random seats that were given to us she noticed that those seats were already taken. She was able to give us two seats all the way on the back of the plane. Also our flight is delayed. AND just because the tickets are cheap you end up getting screwed over with luggage fees. Wtf airline charges you $55 for a carry on??? I am so frustrated. I am traveling with my husband and we are newlyweds recently got married this weekend and this is the BS we have to deal with. Awesome. Never ever flying with them again and will NEVER recommend this airline to anyone.
Pros: Not a single thing.
Cons: The flight was canceled 15 minutes after boarding was supposed to have started. This was at 11PM. We were told to go back to the ticket counter and see if other arrangements could be made. Another flight was also canceled at this time. It took us until 3 am to reach the ticket counter. When I got there the ticket agent asked if I could take a video of the lines for her to send to her children. After declining a 7AM flight with three stops that would have taken us to L.A. first and had us land in Baltimore at midnight, we were given tickets out on Jet Blue, a real airline, the next day at 10AM. We were also given vouchers for 3 meals, a taxi ride to and from the airport, and a hotel. However, no restaurant in the airport would take the vouchers and neither would the taxi back to the airport. The taxi was even the same company that took us to the hotel less that six hours earlier. Spirit barely had any communication with us on any of this. There was never an explanation for why the flight was canceled. They also allowed people to jump the line and get vouchers, slowing the overall process. It is safe to say I will never fly Spirit again, no matter how cheap it is.
Cons: The first time I flew on Sprit I had a bad experience but I thought it was a one time thing so I gave them another chance. Even with the charges for EVERYTHING! WATER, SODA, CARRY ON... but my experiences this trip were even WORSE! My connecting flight to Vegas (through Minneapolis) was delayed 2 hours then another hour once we boarded. They offered us free WATER. My trip back to Atlanta (through Detroit) was delayed at least 3 hours (still sitting at the airport). They do not update you in the terminal. They do not offer any apologies, comps, or alternatives even though the website says you can choose another flight if your travel plans cannot be changed. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PAY EXTRA MONEY TO FLY ON A REAL AIRLINE!!!
Cons: Due to Fox car rental triple charging my VISA I was instructed to speak to a manager when I returned my rental car. Knowing this would take more time, I arrived 30 minutes earlier to discuss the matter. It wasn't an easy fix. As a result, I arrived at McCarren Airport to check my bag at 10:55 p.m. for an 11:30 p.m. flight. I was told I was to late and would have to take the next flight to Detroit, which wasn't until 8:15 a.m. I pleaded and offered to take my luggage to the plane and carry it to the baggage workers, but it was to no avail. I was booked for the 8:15 a.m. flight to Detroit. I was very disappointed to be informed that it would cost me $99.00 to make the change.
Cons: I tried canceling one flight for my fiancé because we had to get on at another time while still keeping the returning flight. After confirming with the representative on the phone multiple time that there would be no issues with her getting on the returning flight; she went to check in at the airport and the representative there told her that her flight had been canceled. There were no other flights that night with Spirit or any other airline for that matter and we then had to arrange to have her fly out the next morning. From the cancelation I received a credit for half of what I paid and honestly will probably not end up using it because of the lack of communication. The representative on the phone confirmed and agreed to her return flight with the confirmation number and apparently he was not correct and it wasn't valid.
Pros: The price initially
Cons: The spirit luggage check in delayed me (the 120 minutes early I was there) before the flight - standing in line - by the time I got to the ONE gate agent she said I was too late to catch the flight and admitted it wasn't my fault but I would have to pay an additional $170 to book the next flight which was the following morning. Down hill from there. It took me an hour waiting on hold to speak to someone on the phone. The representative & then her supervisor could care less, by that time the rebooking charge had gone up to $215. It cost me $300+ to last minute book a low price room for the night, taxi back and forth from the airport (I had already returned my rental car). That doesn't include the return flight I paid for on a different airline or the refund I should have recieved for the RT trip I already paid for. Shameful (non)service spirit!!!
Cons: I arrived 35mins to departure and was told I could not board my flight and would have to pay an extra $100 to rebook for a later flight. The flight they wanted to rebook me for was still selling for the same rate which I purchased my original ticket. The woman at the counter still said I would have to pay the extra $100. I only had a carry on. There was no reason I should have not been able to board my original flight or at the least rebook at no cost. Total rip offs but I guess that's what I get for flying with such a low class airline like Spirit. Never again and I will never recommend flying with this airline. They have so many hidden fees.
Pros: I disliked the entire experience.
Cons: I had a flight booked a month in advance and I drove 10 hours to drop off my children with their grandparents so my man & I could take a vacation to Los Angelas. When I got to the airport they informed me that "I" had made changes to my reservation so it was cancelled and they gave me a credit for $300 even though I paid $450 for our flights. When I asked why I couldn't get a refund instead of a credit the lady told me that it was apparently because I booked through a third party, which is not true. I'm a member of spirit and I booked straight through their website. She told me there's no one I can talk to and that she can not help me and gave me a number to call. So I'm stuck at the airport with no help. (Now keep in mind I've already paid for a hotel and a car in LA that I will not get a refund for) finally we decided we'd have to take a flight to the next destination or we could not go on vacation. So we ended up having to go to Vegas and pay for the difference on top of a hotel. This is a joke!
Pros: Liked: That we arrived alive and the plane didn't crash.
Cons: Disliked: The horrible onboarding customer service staff at the LAs Vegas airport. The plane was delayed over 3 hours and there were no notifications to us as to why. We boarded our plane, left the terminal, and then went right back and waiting around, on the floor, of the airport for over 3 hours. Their compensation? Water, and a Biscoff. What a slap in the face! Also their shady business model: cram as many people as possible into uncomfortable seats and don't feed or water them for the duration of the flight. Oh wait, $3 sodas, $4 baggie of snack. Wow....
Cons: It was terrible. They didn't even announce the flight departure properly, so we (and several more people) missed the boarding. They rescheduled us to another flight but it disrupted our plans and caused a lot of inconvenience. Also, they charge for literally everything, I've never seen $42 fee for checked baggage, or even $55 or $100 if one doesn't make it to buy it online. Weight of 40 lbs. is woefully insufficient as travelers from Europe will have to remove over 10 pounds from their baggage as normal airlines allow 23 kg.
Pros: The price of the flight. Flight Crew members were pleasant.
Cons: I tend to make the best of all situations but this time it was very difficult. Honestly, I would rather pay the "hidden fees" for a more comfortable flight with the ability to recline my seat, travel with a carry on bag and have in flight refreshments without having to pay extra. Sitting in an upright position for 5 hours straight with no leg room is torture. The thought of dodging hidden fees is great but not at the expense of comfortability and incurring additional baggage and in flight fees. Unfortunately, I would not fly with this airline again unless the flight is 2 hours or less and it was the only option available. Bottled water should be free for travelers even if it's only the 8oz bottles. The snack/drink menu options are limited and the prices are ridiculous. Thank you for the services, however this will not be an option in the future.
Pros: The seating and the Captain of the plane
Cons: I ended up spending another $600 to get home from Vegas with another airline July 18th 2016. The manager at the gate in Vegas his name was "Omaha" did absolutely nothing to help me get home what made the experience even worse the next flight was a connecting flight that was sold out so they tried to fly me to Detroit where I would have been stuck til the next day and they didn't care about me having to work the next day. I also payed the extra $52 baggage fee with Spirit leaving Vegas but that needs to be refunded as well as my flight that was previously paid for that I take. Overall because of the unhelpful employees I had to spend an extra $600 to fly with another airline to make it home that day and I also pay $52 baggage fee with Spirit that I didn't even use that needs to be refunded.
Pros: I liked the base price of the fare. I also liked the staff and flying experience from Cleveland to Las Vegas. That reference may be the only thing that causes me to consider a 2nd flight with Spirit.
Cons: I did not like the boarding process, a single line for ALL customers regardless of whether or not you already have a boarding pass, my luggage was damaged and no note or apology from Spirit it was just loaded on the conveyor belt as if it were received that way, threats of the gate permanently closing 35 minutes before boarding despite having to sit on the plane until the plane was scheduled to leave 35 minutes later, fees for everything from carry-ons, to seats, to snacks and regular beverages on super long flights, and the list goes on...
Pros: Gate person was very helpful got us on the flight early and we had great seats I am 6'4" my son who was in LV for basketball is 6'11" and she was great.
Cons: At check in for our baggage it was a very long wait Michael who helped us put us on standby for an earlier flight gave us new boarding passes did not see that I had paid for a carry on bag so my boarding pass did not have a carry on. I also had a very hard time checking in for our flight and printing the boarding pass as the web page was down for almost 24 hours I wasted many hours trying to print the boarding pass and was very surprised about the charges for seats baggage and printing the boarding pass.
Pros: The only nice thing about the airline was getting off the plane.
Cons: My flight out was delayed 6 hours. With no reason as to why and a flight was scheduled to leave at the exact same time from the same gate. So I said screw it took the hit on paying for the ticket and went Alaska that day. There self check in on their website rarely works and their kiosk to check in at the airlines looks like it's from the 90's old, gross, and beaten up. You also have to pay $55 just for a regular sized carry on. So if you plan ahead go and spend the extra $20 on an actual airline not this PoS. There is no complimentary anything on the flight. Water and snacks all cost $$ and no exception. The customer service is beyond terrible. Chances of getting an actual person is 0 if you call their customer support line. In all NEVER fly this airlines.
Pros: They canceled the flight with no notification or any further explanation both ways, weather was good ! The next available flight was 24 hours later and with extra stop and wait time 6 hours. They also charge extra for your luggage, you are allow to take only small handbag everything ales is extra charge. They canceled flights both ways, a trip from hell thanks to Spirit airlines. They have worst costumer service ever and will not do anything to accommodate their costumers, all they can say is "sorry but there is nothing we can do." We ask for a supervisor after they change our flight on the way back as well from 12:05 am to 8:25 am and than again to 1:45 pm, supervisor said that "she is is truly sorry, but unfortunately there is nothing she can do" !!!??? I suggest that they send notification to their costumers in reasonable time before the flight departure about any travel changes, not once you are already at the airport.
Pros: Overall it was a mediocre experience, but none of the airlines make flying an enjoyable experience anymore... Service on Spirit was below some airlines, but overall it was OK.
Cons: SPirit's lack of honesty and disclosure about their fees and policies. The tag line of "Less Money, More Go" is totally false advertising. By the time I completed my return flight, this trip cost me about $100 more than other airlines because of their seat fees, bag fees, up-charges... they even charge for you taking your own carry on onto the plane! What's next? Charging for breathing while in-flight?? Overall I will not be using Spirit again, and I will not recommend Spirit to my friends or my company.\ Mike Gibbore
Cons: Flight was late, baggage was late
Cons: Both times cancelled
Cons: I'm very upset that I was forced to pay $65 additional to get on my flight for a carry on bag, they told me if I didn't pay it "right now" the price will then go up to $100 for my bag. They told me there was nothing they could do, "I should have read about the extra fees". If I would have checked it when booking it would have only been 25, then ups to 45, then 65, then 100$. That's how their flights can be so cheap- they told me. It wasn't cheaper then the other flights! I just didn't know I was going to have to pay an extra $100+ dollars! That price is absolutely rediculous. If it was $25, or even $40 it would be reasonable. Are you kidding me- penny pinchers with no compassion. I will never fly this airline again. Honestly, if you add everything they charge you for, you'd get a better deal paying for Alaska Airlines. AT least they respect their customers.
Pros: Once I actually took a Spirit Flight my experience was fine.
Cons: I missed my initial flight due to traffic & was only 10 minutes past boarding time. The Reps at the counter were helpful and called multiple times to the gate to see if they would let me board, but they would not. The counter did fail to inform me by not making the going flight that my return flight is automatically cancelled. Missing that information, I then booked a one way flight thru another airline b/c Spirit did not have an available flight for that day. I continued to get normal check in emails for my return flight only to find out once I got to the airport to get my boarding pass that return flight had been cancelled. I was told by the counter rep that I needed to check the online agreement. At least a courtesy email would have be nice. So I ended up having to book another one way flight to return, this time trough Spirit, but it was 4 hours later. I also did not get credit on my original flight paying for checked baggage for the return trip even though I paid $40 going and $40 returning. Needless to say, I completely wasted money booking my original flights since I had to book two other flights to go and return.
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Customer service is horrible. You get what you pay for. My first encounter was with the greeter who was extemely rude. I have never flown with Spirit and had questions about the baggage costs. Her response to me was rude and condescending unlike the other carrier I had flown with the day prior. I arrived to my gate 1 1/2 hours prior to my flight time. I had been checking the board as my flight was delayed since the morning. I went to grab something to eat close to my terminal (listening to all the announcements) and when I got back I was told my flight had already departed. I question how that was so since I was there and had not heard anything. They changed the gate number my flight was leaving from and moved up the time. She proceeded to rip up my boarding passes. I asked what my options were and in her rude tone she answered "well you can rent a car and start driving". Never again....and I will be sure to pass along my experience as others tried to warn me.
