Had to change airlines and they assured me my luggage would follow me. It did not!!!! Too many security checks, switching from place to place and being herded like cattle was not too pleasant. Security people were rude and very busy talking to each other to tend to their jobs. One person would tell you to do something and the next person would give you completely different direction. They were arguing amongst themselves and not paying attention to one of the most important things.....customers."

They were playing chase, hitting everyone's seat, and screaming at each other quite a bit. Parents obviously did not discipline them at all. After waiting in the airport for a completely different flight and not know what to expect this flight was not a pleasant one. American Airlines had overbooked the flight and they were begging people to give up their seats. They had a weight problem due to fuel amount and when we were approaching DFW we were diverted to Houston because we did not have enough fuel to stay in a holding pattern. We sat on the tarmac for a couple of hours, refueled, several people got off the plane in Houston in order to make connecting flights and then we FINALLY flew back to Dallas"

I had a back pain. Boarding started with the First Class and Business Class first. It took an additional 20 minutes for Economy class to start boarding. The line was very, very long and interfered with other travelers in the airport terminal. "boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped" When we arrived in Denver, only five Custom Agents were on duty to process our arrival passports, although there are 14 control stations at Denver. It appeared as though the Custom Agents were not aware of the arrival of the Lufthansa 747 nor the one that followed. All other Custom in Europe were much more efficient and move people through quickly. What a bad first impress made by the USA Customs people."

I wish the stewardesses would make a quick check up and down the isles in case someone dozed off. The first meal that I received was very good but I am glad I didn't miss it when they came around. Especially that I traveled alone. I do have to say that the comfort of the seats on the way to Europe was much better. It was a different airline."

Cons: "I flew Toronto-Calgary-Palm Springs and then Las Vegas back to Toronto. Only the Calgary-Palm Springs flight (the shortest leg) had seat back entertainment including satellite TV (although it cut out half way there). West Jet should have such entertainment available on all of their longer flights (consistent with the likes of Jet Blue that has had it for years). I would also point the disaster at the West Jet recommended Airport Lounge i Toronto. I almost missed the flight because there was A. No flight information available in the lounge like everywhere else B. The TV available in the lounge was on the information channel which included the time but froze up at some point (I checked the time and though I had about an hour before the flight and had hour til boarding. When I looked up again about twently minutes later the time was exactly the same. C. The Lounge was 20 minutes from the gate and this distance was a total surprise. I provided my boarding pass and the receptioist said nothng about the distance (unlike other airport lounges that I have visited). Note that I stopped into the Chinook Lounge in Calgary to see if they had addressed all of the complaints. I asked how far away my gate was and what steps I had to go through to get there and they had no clue. It turns out that one must take a shuttle bus, go though security again and then go through US customs so bottom line is that one needs the adviised three hours and the Chinook Lounge is essentially useless for travellers connecting to a US destination in Calgary. I would suggest that perhaps your CEO or senior staff should go through the experience of using the above Lounges and believe me this would result in A. Demanding significant improvements or B. Recommending Alternative Lounges or C. Advising that these lounges not be used (and certainly not featuring them on your web site). One additional comment. I arranged to meet someone on your Toronto-Vegas flight at McCarron (last Tuesday nite). There are 26 different luggage carousels so I positioned myself in the middle and monitored the flight arrival information. Officials at McCarron Airport failed to indicate that your plane had arrived. As a result, I was delayed in making my way to meet the individual at Carousel 26 and we missed making contact. Most Toronto passengers were already leaving with their luggage so I approached one of your staff who to put it lightly was useless (not sure why she was there). She would not tell me if my party was on the flight or even when it landed or provide any solution. The McCarron Flight Info Board still did not indicate arrival of your flight even after basically all the luggage was gone. I finally got someone who worked at McCarron to contact the PA Announcer and ask my party to meet me at Carousel 26. The PA Announcement came over a few minutes later ... but said to meet at Carousel 16. Gross incompetence all the way around. Dennis Egan 519-513-1025"

Cons: "My American partner's passport expires 2 months after our return to the US. Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. We hope to be able to fly on a standby basis (that's what BA told us we could hopefully do) later today. Sorry for this long letter, I hope it does not bore whoever reads it (if it is even read :). The crew were brilliant, and hats off to them for working in such difficult conditions."

Cons: "Economy fare was great until 95 euro for a single bag added to stowage was added on . With Ridiculously high baggage charges watch out if you are flying economy. Sort of negates the benefits of economy"

Cons: "The offered an upgrade to bid on. I did and was rewarded one for the 4 of us. It turned out that the seats were exactly like every other seat on the plane in size. They did provide free drinks and a well used towel. When you ask to be paid for an upgrade you should be clear what that really is."

Furthermore, there were NO snacks available for purchase so you were forced to eat gross food."

Cons: "Boarding was chaos. We had a little child, but no priority for families with children. Flight was delayed over two hours, no explanation, no apologies. Boarding crew was impolite and unhelpful. Then they had to weight all carry-ons! Crazy."

Cons: "Gates were switched with no notification. Sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes before takeoff apparently waiting foR the little truck to tow us to the runway. The seats are incredibly short in length, zero room for a 6’3” person. I was terribly scrunched up and uncomfortable. Knees are raw from rubbing the back of the seat in front of me. I’ll be watching flights to be sure I never take this model of plane again or chooses another airline."

Cons: "We had trouble with the A/C leaving; until we were airborne, it was hot. I suspect that this is an unusual problem. In general, I find small international carriers better than the large ones; my favorite so far in Air Austria"

Cons: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Cons: "Flight was overbooked by over 20 people and even though we got the airport 2 hrs early to check in we were bumped from the flight. Next flight available was not for over 8 hrs later that day. Rude and not helpful employees. No gate announcement when flight was then delayed. Most American size carry one do not fit in overbooked head and was forced to gate check."

Cons: "My entertainment console did not work for the entire 8 hour flight, and to make matters worse the screen kept flashing a bright white light every 30 seconds or so, preventing me from sleeping. I had to tell 3-4 crew members for them to at least broadcast a movie to my seat to make the flashing stop. I was also seated right next to the bathroom, which usually isn't so bad, but since most of the passengers were elderly, it was being used literally nonstop for the majority of the flight. The crew only briefly cleaned it once... I was seated next to a screaming toddler as well. This isn't really the airline's fault, but it certainly didn't help. I felt like I did not get my money's worth for this flight and that it was a poor experience."
