Cons: "Absolutely horrible plane. This 737-700 sucks. I’m in premium economy and it’s horrible. Very narrow seats. Very tight. Horrible. At airport American Airlines jfk ground crew were non existent when the aircraft pulled into the gate."

Cons: "Seat assignment. Others, besides myself and my husband, were not seated together, and in our case at opposite side of the plane, but, even though the flight was full, there was no reason for that that I could see (some solo passengers were seated next to a member of a split couple/family)."

Cons: "The gate agents were rude. So happy with their ‘power’ over passengers who are loaded like cattle onto the plane. They barked at every other passenger that their carry on bag was too big and wouldn’t even listen to train when bags would fit into the size checking stand."

Cons: "We waited 1 hr or more for our baggage to arrive at baggage claim and no one from AA told us anything until about 50 minutes into our wait that there was a weather delay so baggage crew couldn't work in the conditions. When we landed, the weather was fine so no one knew! Many people missed connections or had to run through the airport by time they got their bags. Better communication would have been easy to do to keep us informed."

Cons: "booking through kayak was a nightmare. they serve no purpose othan than to collect a fee and add zero value and provide no support after the transaction. it is pointless to use this service as no one at Kayak can help you after the purchase, and we all know airlines are useless when it comes fo customer service. never again! american airlines was even worse with their customer service when trying to get seat selections preserved when the airline was updated from British to American airlines. American airlines lied over the phone and was even more rude in person. JOKE"

Pros: "How the pilot flew faster from New Bern to Charlotte because we were 3 hours behind schedule, so I appreciate his effort."
Cons: "Right from the start, customer service was not compassionate in helping out. I was forced to leave my huge luggage behind in order to make it to the next available flight. In addition, American Airlines continued delaying their flight departure times like it was no big deal.. It was stressful for many passengers. This other woman and I had a second plane to get onto, and were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get to the next plane ride because the first plane ride was pushed back like around 10 times or so. This is my first experience with American Airlines, and absolutely do not have a good impression whatsoever. I do not support this airline because it is clear that they do not value their customer’s satisfaction, wellbeing, or schedules."

Cons: "The flight was delayed due to several mechanical issues but the ground crew did not communicate effectively on the issue or how long the delay would be. I understand that these issues occur, but better communications and empathy from the ground crew would have gone a long way. Boarding was also a disaster because everyone tried to board at the same time and again, the ground crew did nothing to control the situation."

Pros: "Even though we were group 6 both ways, boarding was smooth and fast! We arrived early and was able to check our overpacked carry-on. Luggage was unloaded within minutes of our getting to the baggage claim. We were even able to move up to the middle of the plane coming back home!"

Cons: "Our 10:40AM flight got cancelled. We had to wait in line until 1AM with regular check-ins to rebook for 8:40AM. When we made it to the airport again after limited sleep, that flight also got cancelled. We bought a ticket with LATAM which was a breeze. Throughout the following week, we tried calling them numerous times to have them tell us we had to loose yet more time by having to go to their Cusco office... but they couldn't resolve the issue either. We had to escalate this over the phone from their office so they would issue us a flight back to Lima at no charge to us. Now, I can only hope that they will honor this ticket but I'm not expecting much."

Cons: "It was a full flight, anyone in loading zones 7-9 were required to check their carry-on luggage. We were in loading zone 6, so not required and preferred not to due to our full day of air travel that would continue into a 3 hour car trip. My husband reached the gate, his ticket scanned, and let onto the plane. I walk up next, my ticket is scanned and then the personnel at the gate said in what I can only describe as the most disrespectful, inconsiderate, ill-tempered tone that he would need take my bag. He grabbed it out of my possession, shoved it into the luggage sizing rack and even though it did fit inside the lines, he said it was "too close" and would need to be checked. Not wanting to cause a scene and quite frankly speechless by this man's attitude, I did not object.. It was not until I was seated on the plane that I noticed more than a dozen items of luggage larger than mine and that the vast majority of people that had 3, 4, 5 carry on items when the maximum is 2: one personal item and one carry on luggage item. It was both the lack of respect and the lack of consistency that lead me to have an extremely "poor" boarding experience. Serious retraining needs to be completed and boarding attendants should not be able to harass airline passengers."

Cons: "Required to board bus for a half minute a ride to get on plane in front of "gate". Business class only 8 smallish seats. Economy have was as cramped as ever. Long restroom lines."

Cons: "AA failed to allow me to check in at initial arrival in Grande Prairie airport so I had to rush to get a boarding pass in Calgary where the AA agent told me it was not an AA problem and sent me back to WestJet. WestJet discovered that it was an AA problem and returned me to the AA counter where it was resolved. Then I had to rush to catch the flight and missed any opportunity to have a decent lunch between flights. Then there was no food offered on the AA flight to Dallas."

Cons: "Lengthy delay due to a broken seat. Missed connection then the next plane had an equipment issue. Had to deplane after 40 min and wait on a new plane. Every flight has had an equipment issue causing a major delay. I'll never fly American Airlines again."

Cons: "I had a severe back injury in Denver and they were unable to move my flight up a day to get home and see a doctor. A good friend had to buy me a new flight with his airline miles so that I could get home to relive my pain. I'll never fly American again because of this complete lack of compassion and care for their customer."
