These workers were all maybe 20 years old and possessed what seemed like zero training to do their job at all. They never had any answers and just smiled while saying “I don’t know” a million times. We were corralled and moved and waited hours while they ran around doing nothing."

The crew did not distribute the Sri lankan landing cards onboard. This caused some confusions for first time travellers as they had to cone off the immigration queue and went to pick the card up and to complete. Some foreigners were unhappy about it."

The service is good and the flights are always in time and well clean. There ia flat seats between Doha to Colombo and from there to Kerala is normal flight but its fine. Business class lounge in Colombo is good with free feet and head massage. When there is a five hour plus transit, free hotel is provided by UL. Overall i like their flights and service and food."

And I have to trash my carry on of $80 value. I was not at all happy. I noticed in the flight so many passengers have the same size carry on, which I have to trash. On my return journey from Delhi to Abu Dhabi I was talking to a woman in the security line, who was sharing the same experience and she told me that they charge her $400 for one extra suitcase. To me that was shocking as how come I was asked $300 for extra checked in bag and she was charged $400. No idea what kind of policies Etihad has for extra baggage. I would like Etihad management to pay attention to the airport staff dealings with customers."

Unfortunately, my wife injured her back while liftin gher luggage at Flint air port on October 25th and few days latter she end up in ER Hospital. I had no choice but to return back home, so I called Etihad customer service for reschedule my trip back to Flint. They asked me so much money that I had no choice but find another flight (cheaper) from United Airlines. So, answer to your question is that I didn't travel from Delhi to Flint on Etihad Airlines."

They said they’d check and get back with us. When they did they said the additional charge for 15kg was more than the ticket itself!! For more than 15 up to 30kg it was nearly 3 times as much! This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

Anyways, he didn’t care because they had let a few people in before me with peeled off passes, and I needed to be used to set an example. So, my punishment for losing part of my pass was that I couldn’t board. Nor did he smile, or help me. Absolutely rude and unhelpful. Thank god I eventually found it, and was allowed to board. Most of entertainment screens don't work as expected. Seat cushions are really old and worn which makes 16 hours for flight even more uncomfortable. Food is ok quality as well."

Cons: "This is the second time I found something wrong in the food. I called the lady serving in my aisle she was forcing me to eat as nothing is wrong. I requested her to call the manager when the manager came and I showed him the object in the food he apologized and took the object to send to the back office. The object was looking like a rat drop off. I want to add here that I am a certified person in food handling and sanitation from State of Illinois Department of public health."

Cons: "Planes are old..Service is average. Entertainment options are poor. This is the 2nd time I have ever flown Air India. The last time was 20 years ago and i have decided not to fly this airline again. It comes nowhere close to any of its competitors."
Cons: "It would have been nice to dim the lights so people could sleep, offer water more than once during a 15 hour flight (that's right - beverage service ONE TIME in 15 hours), not take 30 min to clear out garbage after meals, and notice when you step on the passengers foot... 3 times. Also, the bathroom ran out of toilet paper twice, the personal entertainment tv shuts off randomly throughout the flight, the food was salty (further dehydrating), and plane is dirty."
Cons: "The entertainment system was down. It was very hard to travel with kids with no movies on board. Crew members were rude! I called for service 3 times before someone showed up just to yell at my son that he is playing with call lights. I was extremely mad."

Cons: "I had never seen any attendant in any flight taking away food before it is finished which happened only in Air India flight. The in-flight attendants aren't matured enough to deal with the customers. But all three behaved the same way."
Cons: "I booked a direct flight from Newark, N.J. to New Delhi, India and was made to stop in Bombay for two hours. Absolutely pathetic of Air India to make passengers stop on the way according to their convenience."

Cons: "I flew with my 3 yr old and I was given seperate seats. I really don't understand how can anyone allot seperate seats when flying with kids. Also, I was not able to web check in 24 hrs prior to my flight. I tried for 2 hrs and also called the customer service they did not resolve my problem instead asked to try back after sometime. Service is really bad. They need to understand customer is their priority."

Pros: "Turbulence, higher than usual, lasting for an hour at a stretch. Plane dipped in altitude suddenly more than a handful of times. Plane was about to land at SFO, pilot suddenly decided not to, with sudden and accelerated plane movements. A kid next to me was thrown half a foot from the seat. Following this when the plane landed it was continuously 'wobbling'. This kind of piloting is not expected of a long distance passenger aircraft. Lost my trust in Air India as a safe flight. Will highly not recommend Air India to family and friends."
