Pros: Crew was friendly
Cons: Entertainment / TVs were not working
Cons: Internet and plane was small and old
Pros: The cabin was clean and the crew was friendly.
Cons: Better snacks. Chips or mini cheese platter
Cons: Delayed for hours on runway
Cons: Wearing a mask was difficult.
Cons: Comfier seats
Pros: Safe travel
Cons: more masks
Pros: great flight, good social distance and empty seats in between
Cons: really nothing, it was as good as possible in these times
Pros: Kosher snacks! Thank you! Very safe and controlled Covid procedures. Made me feel safe.
Pros: Very controlled and safe Covid procedures. Outlets and screens at every seat.
Pros: Felt very clean and so glad they are not selling every seat
Pros: The space between passangers and the steps the crew took to ensure our safety.
Cons: Nothing it was a perfect flight.
Pros: Everyone was great.
Pros: I always have a consistently good experience on Delta. Everything was great.
Pros: We left on time and arrived early. The seat in comfort class had excellent leg room.
Cons: The food was mediocre, to say the least.
Cons: The check process was ridiculous. There not enough room in the box for me to explain my experience but the ticket agent lied to me, said he couldn't take my bag until I got a paper receipt and boarding pass from a kiosk despite having had pre-paid for my bag and digital boarding pass. 25 mins wasted
Cons: Explain why there’s over a 2 hour delay
Pros: Everything was as expected. Few delays but weather related and was only about 90 minutes
Cons: Reclining seats
Pros: We landed 45 minutes ahead of schedule.
Cons: Boarding was rushed and we left the gate late.
Cons: Originally, they were putting me on a flight connecting through Atlanta. However, I was traveling with my brother and there was only one seat on it. After looking again, we were put on a much better route through Detroit. I did not have a seat on the second leg and was stressed that I could get bumped. I made the flight but was given a middle seat. Since I have clostrophobia I began to panic. My brother sacrificed his exit row seat for me. He had booked through Delta. I wondered if he got better treatment because of that
Pros: The food and the treatment
Cons: flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way
Pros: The last time we flew Delta, we were underwhelmed. Our flight was delayed several hours and there was nothing exceptional about it when it did finally leave. That was 5 years ago, and there's been a lot of changes. There I'd now in-flight entertainment, reasonably comfortable seats, and everything was on time.
Cons: Virtually no food options.
Pros: Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated.
Cons: That we were delayed on the plane for two hours on a small plane but I know it was out of their control.
Pros: There were many delays and cancellations due to bad thunderstorms at LGA. Despite a few hours delayed (because the airport was closed due to the storm), the flight was still schedule to leave! I was very happy about that. They did issue waivers for those who could not make the later time. Once delta got the ok to fly.. The flight left the gate very fast and we arrived and exited the plane super fast too. The process was so efficient and quick, I did not feel the waiting period. The flight attendance were so happy and positive, they made he flight very enjoyable. Great job delta!
Pros: I arrived safely.
Cons: We all were bused to the plane. And we all had to stow our carry on bags with checked luggage.
Pros: Nice plane. Efficient crew
Cons: Not their fault but they were delayed 4 hours. At least they texted updates fairly frequently but I can’t give a 5-Star review because of the huge delay
Pros: The on time departure. The air hostesses were very attentive. Fast baggage arrival
Pros: Comfy on time and personable. Food was good too. Thank you.
Cons: It was all good.
Pros: Flight attendant was nice. She changed my seat to the front cause the guy behind me was kicking my chair.
Cons: They cancelled my flight from the day before and when they rebooked my flight, they could of gave me a better seat.
Cons: My seat was taken by another person and the crew member was not very helpful with getting the issue resolved
Cons: Got put on standby despite having purchased my ticket over 1 month in advance
Cons: The flight left three hours late while the crew was waiting for an oxygen tank to arrive. We were boarded onto the plane after it was nearly an hour and a half late, then waited in out cramped seats for another hour and a half as we continued to wait for the same piece of equipment. At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers.
Cons: I understand gate changes happen, but I got 4 texts switching the gates back and forth. Is that necessary?
Pros: The crew were professional and courteous
Cons: The fight was delayed multiple times, starting at a 5:44 takeoff and finally taking off around 9:15. It was delayed in 30 min increments, which made it hard to do anything else around the airport since I was constantly in a state of "about to board." A frustrating experience. No posts of extra snacks while waiting, or compensation or explanation of what caused the delay.
Pros: One of The crew members a guy from Texas was nice
Cons: The female crew Members were taking loudly and a lot during the flight it was difficult to sleep as a result. The food was low and very very bad
Cons: Due to weather patterns, we sat on the runway for 3 hours waiting to take off. There was approx. 50+ planes ahead of us. I know this because I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot on his way home. About 2 hours in, there was 30 planes left to take off, and then us. They air traffic control people were only letting off one plane per minute which is what was holding us. THEN after the 3 hours on the runway, our crew timed out and the brought us back to gate saying we were not taking off. At the gate, they informed us the flight was not 'cancelled' but 'delayed' to the following morning. I/m not sure how a 16 hour difference is considered 'delayed', but I digress. All Delta reps had NO idea the time of the new flight the following morning and told us all to just 'keep checking the app'. Now, fortunately for me I live in Brooklyn and could just go home. But what about everyone who was at LGA as a layover? I heard from multiple passengers they had to spend the night in a hotel, that Delta did not pay for. We finally got notice the new flight was scheduled for 9:30AM, which they AGAIN delayed until 11:30AM. Many people did not get the second change, and were already at LGA for the 9:30AM flight. To say Delta's handling of this was poor is an understatement. We knew when we got on that plane the crew was going to time out. Again, I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot who told me to 'get comfy, we're gonna be here awhile' the minute I sat down. Delta should have given us a fresh crew, or had a backup one prepared. I understand the weather is out of there control, and I understand you can't have a tired crew piloting an airplane, but there are other ways to have us take off remotely on schedule.
Pros: For a short-haul flight on a small CRJ, it was the most pleasing and comfortable flight. No delays and everyone was pleasant from ground staff to flight crew.
Cons: Delta doesn't manage their flight schedules and personnel with backup or standby crew in order to assist whenever there are delays across domestic flights. The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights.
Pros: Love Delta and their attention to customer service. They make you feel overall that they value you as a customer.
Cons: My seat was broken and when the seat in front of me reclined, it was very uncomfortable. I was just thankful it was an 1.5 hour flight and we didn't get stuck on the runway in NYC like my last two flghts.
Pros: Seats were reasonably comfortable.
Cons: Boarding process was ok (they bused us over to the plane and then had us walking out halfway to the plane's stairs before frantically sending us back on the bus because the plane wasn't cleaned yet). Not a big deal but we were traveling with a 10 month old so miscommunications like that cause a larger inconvenience than usual. The real downer on the flight was when we needed hot water quickly to warm our infant's bottle. The stewardess had begun beverage service and was about 8 rows away from us. My wife hit the call button, expecting the stewardness to come over somewhat quickly. Instead, she just continued beverage service and got to us about 15 mins later. By that point it was too late and the baby was wailing from hunger. When we asked why, knowing that we had a small child, the stewardness didn't just push the cart forward and attend to us more quickly, she said she didn't want to do that. No apology, not even a sense of remorse. At the end of the day, a customer's experience will always be tainted by poor service and that is what we received on our flight.
Pros: From curbside check-in to landing the plane, overall excellent service ! Very pleased to find out they offered a shuttle from checkin to the gate. I am having knee surgery soon and the walk from security to gate 34 LaGuardia would have put me over the top with pain! It was a very nice gentleman that gave me a ride to the gate and even stopped to let me use the bathroom. Thumbs up *****
Cons: The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !
Pros: Crew remained positive and apologetic for the long delay.
Cons: Lack of notice that there was no Pilot, maybe let people know so we can be less stressed about leaving as well as arriving on time when others depend on you to.
Pros: Delta changed me to another flight without charge and the rep was very accommodating and pleasant
Cons: Multiple delays, from 8:15 to 8:49 to 9:05 to 9:39 to 10:12 to 10:19 to 10:25. I am not joking. Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually.
Pros: Everything was smooth. Short flight, but they offered us refills on drinks, which I've never experienced before. Polite staff, great flight. Thanks!
Pros: Friendly service. On-time.
Cons: No tv's in airplane.
Pros: Such a delightful flight.
Cons: Departure late by 25 minutes!!
Pros: Boarding was simple and fast!
Cons: Online checking did not give me the option to change my seat. This could have been better.
Pros: Crew was late, which caused me missed my connection flight, and layover for 10 hours at Heathrow Then on my delayed flight, I was seated on a worth sit. Thank you British Airway. Hope this my last flight with you. Kobi
Cons: Get your crew arrive on time to their flights. Kobi
Pros: Glad to have flat beds and not the fake B class you sometimes get in Europe
Cons: Not crazy about this seat arrangement in which every other passenger faces backwards.
Pros: Friendly Crew
Cons: The timing of the food service vs hours of flight
Pros: Food ok and crew nice.
Cons: The flight was bumpy for 5 hours from USA to England scary ride
Cons: Missing information of my flights, such as seat and others
Pros: Amazing crew, kind and patient
Cons: The seats rows are too close - high density. The flight was late.
Pros: Nothing the worst customer service I ever had
Cons: The flight was canceled due to mechanical difficulties and British airways delayed helping us for 2 hours and then told us to use the phone 800 number to book a different flight. we needed to connect in London for the flight to Tel Aviv. The man on the phone barely spoke English and set us up with a flight that would not get us to our destination in time for our religious Sabbath Friday night. When we tried to explain the situation he hung up on us. We called back and tried to explain again we either spoke to the same man or another Indian man whom also spoke unintelligible English and he also hung up on us. In the mean time my wife spoke with the counter agents and they tried to find us another flight but by now other airline counters were closed. An hour later I tried the 800 number again and spoke again with the same Indian guy, when I asked to speak to a manager he gave me a hard time then finally said ok, put me on hold which I stayed for a while and realized he just put me on hold indefinitely. Finally after being in the airport for 9 hours we found a flight from United and a family member booked it online for us which we took to Tel Aviv and got us here only 2 hours later than our original flight which had a 12 hour layover in London and we were going to spend time touring but did not get to. As far as I am concerned British Airways has done a horrible job and no one should ever fly with them again. Unfortunately our flight home is with them I hope it goes smooth.
Pros: The crew is friendly. Relative to some other flights I've had, the Economy section is not terrible.
Cons: If you are fairly tall, don't expect to be able to catch some sleep. The earphone socket is located right next to your leg, so expect to break your cable.
Pros: Food was decent
Cons: One of the worst business class seats - worn and cramped. Boarding was pandemonium Crew was unfriendly
Cons: British airways new I'l be late , they could send someone to pick me up from the security point, so I could have been on time.
Pros: Short flight - it was fine
Cons: All fine for short flight
Cons: Screens were difficult to maneuver. In some instances wouldn't open.
Cons: not much room. cant explain the boarding. too complicated and required going down stairs.
Cons: Boring entertainment selections
Cons: 5 hours delay, and at 2 of them we were on board. Terrible food. We asked to walk outside, by foot, in the snow to the aircraft. Terrible flight.
Pros: Crew and entertainment are excellent
Cons: Food is mediocre. Temperature on the flights to and from Tel Aviv is very cold (needed blanket and shawl both directions).
Cons: Business class configuration on BA 777
Pros: Ground staff and crew excellent Boarding was confusing and not announced
Cons: The breakfast was kind of gnarly - the eggs were oversalted and slimy, like worse than the usual airplane meal
Pros: Great crew, quiet flight, good food,
Pros: the staff
Cons: aircraft, food, entertainment
Cons: 12 hour delay. Very disappointed with British airways
Cons: Small plqne
Cons: Freezing cold cabin
Cons: It gave me a different return date
Pros: The crew are always nice, trying to compensate for the lack of service provided by the company. sadly, its not enough anymore.
Cons: Everything.. Check in was a nightmare, only one representative for over 50 people. and much more horrible behavior from once a great company, today nothing more than an over paid low cost one.
Pros: crew attentive to passengers and always with a happy demeanour.
Pros: Efficient and convenient.
Cons: The cleanliness of the plans...my tray table has crusted food stains and the magazines in the seat pocket had gum all over them.
Cons: The food.
Pros: Direct filght
Cons: Limited entertainment options
Pros: Staff were nice
Cons: Disappointed with the food choice
Cons: It is a very short connection time and it is the second time I've missed it. Now according to the schedule I should be arriving Tel Aviv at 11:30 pm instead of 3 pm. And the wait in London is very long.
Cons: It would be nice to have a free juice or soft drink on this flight. They only offer free water, and then you have to ask for it.
Pros: For the back of the bus, the seat was still pretty comfortable and I did manage to sleep. Boarding was easy, The entertainment seemed great, thought I fell asleep
Cons: I didnt' manage to get a good seat. I sat in the middle row, last row of the plane. : ) Also, i must have fallen asleep, but I was never offered even a cup of water.
Pros: the flight was very comfortable and we had a very pleasant flight. The food was very tasty, and all in all the flight was very high standard.
Cons: there was some air hosts strike so service was slower than expected, but all in all the crew was able to attend everybody's needs. landing was a bit rougher than usual.
Cons: Their own employees didn't know that the flight was delayed, though their app had sent out a notice, and they refused to let me go through security, having already given away my seat more than an hour before the flight actually left. Then they refused to admit responsibility and do anything to help except to continue to put us on standby on their own full flights, knowing we wouldn't be able to get on one of those flights for at least a few days. They did finally give us a hotel for just one night and that was only after we kept reminding them that this was all their fault.
Pros: I was late to the flight due to an accident and I have got a new flight quite easily
Cons: I have got a seat that can take t back, no one told me in advanced this is the situation and the flight attendent keeped telling me why it can't be done instead of looking for a solutioni
Pros: The cabin crew, as always, were unfailing patient and polite and as helpful as they could be. Given the situation with the IT problem at BA, it was amazing that we were scheduled, and took off on time and arrived in Tel Aviv on time. Congratulations to all!
Cons: We were at the back of the plane, which was pretty difficult for my 6'6" husband and his long legs. We were told every seat was full (because of the IT problem). However, after takeoff it became apparent that there were some empty seats, but they weren't offered to us. One man was asleep across three exit row seats, for example. We had two seats in a three seat row, which would have given us a bit more room, but a woman was moved to the window seat with us, to accommodate a religious man who didn't want to sit next to her. She was very nice, but the whole situation was annoying and distasteful. And, unfortunately, the food was just as bad as our last flight.
Pros: Great food, great entertainment, short flight that went smoothly
Cons: Cabin temperature a bit high
Cons: Food Accommodating bags when space is available
Pros: the crew was grate, brakfest was good .
Cons: baggage was lost
Cons: I WANT TO CAHNGE TIME OF FLIGHT. BRITISH ASKED TO HIGT PAYMENT. IN THIS AMOUNT I CAN BUY TWO TIKETS IN LOW COAST COMPANY AND I HAVE ENOUTH MONEY TO BUY FOOD. PERSON THAT BUY TIKET FROM THE SITE CAN'T CHOISE A SITE AND ITS COME AUTOMATIC WITHOUT TO CAHNGE/
Cons: we order kosher food for the flights, on the first flight we recive only for 1 pessanger so on the way back we call few days before to the airlines company to confirm that is kosher food for both passengers and they confirm and again we didnt recive only 1 passanger recive for flight over 20 hours way to be with out food
Pros: Flight attendants were great; very attentive to passengers' needs.
Cons: Passengers were hanging out by exit door with no regard to rules and were not giving any warnings-this made other passengers anxious. My seat was broken so I could not recline when the passenger in front of me fully reclined. Very unfortunate!
Pros: British Airway's service is cordial and comfortable, which goes a long way to making the entire trip the same. Obviously they have no or little control over potholes in the air and wind turbulence.
Cons: The flight was scheduled to arrive 2 hours before our connecting BA flight departed Heathrow. Unfortunately because of loading delays on our original flight, we arrived in Heathrow 40 minutes late. The crew said that 60 minutes is the designated minimum but we used all of the 80 minutes plus, and it airport was NOT crowded. If BA is connecting to BA, then you have a responsibility ahead of time to address this problem and keep connecting passengers from getting overly distressed in a strange airport.
Pros: Quick flight
Pros: Lack of communication
Cons: Horrible customer service
Pros: Boarding was ok
Cons: No entertainment screen and no free wifi. They let you sign in to their entertainment on the phone, but first of all the screen is small and it drains the battery of the phone and not comfortable. It would be great to have screens in all airplanes. Also, they give a pretzel and a bottle water, no other snacks and soft drinks are available.
Cons: They didn’t even offer water to drink and came up and down at least 8 times to collect garbage. What garbage you haven’t offered us anything to throw out. They announced for their crew protection service may be slightly different if there is turbulence whatever
Pros: El tiempo de llegada, aterrizamos 40 min antes de lo esperado
Cons: Deben poner a los pasajeros que son impertinentes juntos
Cons: Better customer services
Pros: They offered some entertainment
Cons: Took no caution with coronavirus. Packed the plane with the seats full and all rows filled. I was not expecting this especially since my flight was not cheap.
Pros: Horrible seats
Pros: The crew was friendly, the cabin and bathrooms were very clean and the separation among passengers was unexpected and great
Cons: My flight was laid over due to weather so it may have been helpful to get a new boarding pass as we left the cancelled flight and maybe a voucher to help with hotel & food.
Pros: Crew was amazing!
Pros: No one within 6 feet of me.
Pros: Flight was on time. Good movie selection.
Cons: Crew ran out of toilet paper in one bathroom with over an hour left on the flight. It seemed like they just didn’t care to replace it and said they were out-either way, not a good look. Plus tiny screens and tiny seats.
Cons: The flight was delayed so I have to re-book my whole trip. I was being told first that I was going to make my connecting flight, and then rushed to the new gate due to terminal re-assigned, and then told that I won't make it to the connecting flight so I have to go to the re-booking counter. And then at the counter being told that I could have made it. Very confusing.
Pros: Flying portion was fine.
Cons: Flight delayed for mechanical issues.... then upon landing trapped in cabin filled with exhaust then again trapped in a locked hallway.
Cons: Flight status
Pros: Lovely crew!
Cons: The landing was rough!
Cons: Seat was very hard and uncomfortable
Pros: I observer th crew at this flight were very friendly and helpful, unlike my previous flight in the past years.
Cons: Keep it up!
Cons: More options when flights are delayed. I understand that some things can’t be controlled but 3hrs with limited to no options is unacceptable. And boarding the flight, it’s always unorganized. A more organized line should be formed. When the groups are called to board the plane.
Cons: All Excellent
Cons: It was an overbooked packed early morning flight with International passengers partnering with the flight. Everyone had bags and no one woukd check them to rhe final destination which caused delays. This was the only issue.
Pros: Arrived on time
Pros: All the crew were pleasant
Cons: There was a delay but we weren’t well informed
Pros: No delays
Pros: The flight attendants were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The American Airlines crew in Houston gave multiple people the wrong information regarding checked luggage for our connecting flight. Because the flight from NYC was over an hour delayed and the misinformation, several people missed the connecting flight. Hobby closes at a certain hour so I now have to wait until tomorrow morning to retrieve my carry on luggage the American Airlines MADE me check because of the group I was in. I called American Aurlines customer service line and they were not helpful. I will never fly American again.
Pros: The fight was fantastic.
Cons: Baggage claim took an hour
Pros: Terrible customer service.
Cons: Rude, rude people working at the desks. Saw many people have problems with them, and then they were rude to me as well.
Cons: AA cancel flights recurringly and has no ability to help their customers. Got I flight cancelled yesterday, and was move to another flight later (10:30pm) that supposed to leave ate (3:30pm). After several delays, they started boarding us at 1:00am, but the boarding process so messy and confuse, the plane couldn’t took off before 1:40 by 1 minute and they had to cancel the flight with 200 people inside the plane. An absurd! Flight was rescheduled to today at 10am and obviously took off 1h delayed because AA can't organize simple things to expedite the boarding process.
Pros: The boarding process was great and speedy. They had us all on the plane and we were pushing back prior to the take off time because they already had us all on board. The flight was smooth, and we landed in Charlotte early. Can’t beat that!
Cons: The crew felt a bit standoffish and I felt like I couldn’t have asked them something if I wanted it, which, thankfully I didn’t.
Pros: The flight itself was fine and the staff were friendly.
Cons: Didn't like getting herded onto a shuttle bus where most people had to stand packed in like sardines, only to idle for 15 minutes and drive in a circle back to the gate because there was something wrong with the plane. Then the ambiguous delay that lasted three hours.
Pros: Entertainment on screens
Cons: The gate agent made us starting in boarding group 6 out of 9 to check sizes of bags in the size box and she got into a verbal fight with another passenger. One guy told her she could board but the gate agent said no it didn't fit and she couldn't board. Then the agent claimed she had to gate check her bag and claimed there were no overhead spaces left. So everyone after that had to gate check. When I boarded there were at least 8 empty bins and I had not even gotten to my seat in row 22. The gate agent lied and slowed down the entire boarding process because she want to win a fight and show dominance over a passenger.
Cons: I was traveling with the exact same size suitcase I’ve probably traveled with as a carry on for at least 50 prior flights, and the boarding agent insisted it was too large. I am a very petite woman, and so when I carry a normal size bag, it can look large by comparison to my body. Further, the flight was 1/3 empty and had plenty of overhead space even once the plane was completely boarded. I am sorely offended based on the discrimination I suggested simply because I am short of stature.
Pros: We had two medical emergency on board so the flight attendant took care of them really well
Cons: They check in my hand carry my whole point of carrying is not to be bother with claing my luggage
Cons: It's AA, never again
Pros: Pulled from get on time. Short hold on runway. Easy landing.
Cons: Still arriving in Washington where we have no gate. Being on time stinks because you still sit on runway. AT the destination. I would focus on quicker turn around and less accommodation of highly variable flight times in tight NE corridor
Pros: Never again. I had a connecting flight with a one hour layover and almost missed it. The plane to charlotte was very late boarding. Once i land I rush to my gate because I only have 20 minutes before they start boarding ; I get to the gate and have to wait almost an hour. At this point I still havent eaten because I am waiting around by the gate and the attendants are not communicating any information. Then they finally tell us that the reason the fligt hasnt boarded was because the flight attendant misplaced her luggage in the previous flight and was waiting to arrive to the terminal. Now how is that my issue? American Airlines needs to do better!
Pros: honestly, all I can say is that I like that I arrived...? eventually? four and a half hours later than we were promised, despite the beautiful weather?
Cons: I didn't like that American Airlines had not staffed our flight, so we waited for 4.5 hours for a flight attendant who would be able to complete the flight crew so we could leave. They kept delaying the flight, 5 minutes at a time, for 4.5 hours. It flew out of LGA, it was a 9pm flight. The airport food sources were closed, and AA kept us until 1am-- no food, no internet, and, because LGA has terrible cell reception, no phone service. Once we got on the plane, everyone was really hungry, and the plane had no snacks. No entertainment because the TV system was broken. It was just a miserable experience. I regret trying to save $20 by booking that flight. I have had nothing but terrile experiences on American Airlines-- NEVER AGAIN.
Cons: The kiosk had no where to enter my DoD number to get precheck. There was also no option to select military baggage. Due to the lack of options on the kiosk I had to wait in the customer service line for almost an hour. The flight was fine. Then my baggage turned out to be flying on a much later flight so it has to be shipped to me. I am very unsatisfied and disappointed with this airline.
Pros: Excellent aircraft. EJR190. Not big but very comfortable aircraft. AA has decided to give actual leg room. Nice experience even in the back of the aircraft.
Cons: AA needs to work on boarding logistics at LaGuardia. It's confusing to have to shuttle across the tarmac to another terminal. If the flight times had been closer I would not have arrived in time to board.
Cons: When the pilot took off at LGA he said "everyone here is trying to take off at the same time" so we'd be delayed by 30 min. Not once was there a mention of any other reason. By the time we got to DC I had JUST missed my connecting flight. It was listed nowhere on the departures screen and I realized I had to take an outdoor bus to the other half of the "c" terminal which was very confusing. I got there and had missed the connecting flight and stand in line for 20 min for someone to tell me that I would be stuck in DC overnight. At this point rain had started pouring and they told me that because my mishap was due to weather they would provide no meal or hotel voucher. Weather was not the issue and I was stuck in DC overnight by myself and not compensated for hotels or meals.
Pros: I appreciated the service and attention. I got to the airport early and was given the option to take the earlier flight to DC
Cons: There is no inflight entertainment
Pros: The seat is reasonably comfortable. One of the flight attendants was full of smiles and very friendly, which was so nice.
Cons: The audio jack for the entertainment system was not working. The food was basically only a cup of beverage and mini pretzels.
Cons: Waited on aircraft for over one hour after boarding Flight attendants did not provide any updates or compensation for passengers sitting and waiting See tweets from other passengers on aircanada who experienced the same confusion, lack of updates, inattentive staff, pilot made very few updates and did not instruct flight attendants to do anything to make situation easier Delayed over an hour after we were told flight would be departing Offered pretzels Bathrooms were not cleaned after previous flight (garbages over flowing, stench, water everywhere) No air conditioning in flight Did not turn on wifi for the flight Will be filing a formal complaint and requesting a refund.
Pros: Good wifi, movie options
Cons: We boarded then had to get off and get on another plane because communication system wasn’t working. Total delay of 2.5 HRs.
Pros: the crew was extremely nice. i was mainly impressed by the many times they made the effort to serve water.
Pros: Well located at LGA (NYC) with it own section of gate doors that is just Air Canada. Multiple flights leaving where EXTREMELY delayed, the staff put on their thinking caps, they started putting people on standby so most customers leave on an earlier flight! I was located in an extra room chair (free) due to this adjustment of delayed flights and was a great experience.
Cons: It’s the usual BS that you get at airports....TSA is always insane but honestly it was better than I thought l.
Pros: My passport wasn’t signed and I couldn’t locate my pen. The agent had a pen in front of him and refused to let me use it. He informed me that his pen is a personal item and that I need to learn a lesson that all travelors should have a pen handy. He proceeded to move me off he line and board additional passangers.
Cons: My passport wasn’t signed and I couldn’t locate my pen. The agent had a pen in front of him and refused to let me use it. He informed me that his pen is a personal item and that I need to learn a lesson that all travelors should have a pen handy. He proceeded to move me off he line and board additional passangers.
Pros: Friendly, attentive staff. Good service. My toddler, husband and I boarded first because of our child, so we had plenty of time to get comfy on the plane. The flight attendants served sufficient drinks and snacks for the 1 hour flight.
Cons: Flight was delayed two hours so my toddler and I had significantly longer to wait, which is not too fun. However, I understand this is unavoidable sometimes.
Cons: Sat on the tarmac for 40 till we pulled out n to the gate.
Pros: I appreciated having my seat changed and arriving to my destination safely.
Cons: The fact that there is NO bottled water on the flight and only "tap" water from a plastic jug. As a kosher consumer, I was unable to drink the water from a kosher perspective and I never drink tap water anyway! I found the staff to be less than friendly until the flight was over. Our flight was cancelled and we had a longer wait for the next flight. I missed an evening appointment due to this cancellation. I never understand why the back of the plane doesn't board first, other than first class.
Pros: The crew was exceptionallly good. They knew the passengers were annoyed because of the delay in takeoff and they made it up to us with Extra care and attention. Very pleasant people
Cons: The flight was about 40 minutes late taking off.
Cons: The biscuits they served as snacks were less than appealing. I think they could come up with a better snack for their flight.
Pros: As a professional musician, flying with my viola is one of the most nerve wracking experiences, as if it is forced to be checked due to insufficient room for overhead baggage, it could be completely destroyed. As stated in Air Canada's online policy, passengers traveling with musical instruments that fit as carry on baggage are allowed to change to earlier boarding zones. After approaching a staff member with my viola, I wasn't simply assigned an earlier zone, but rather I was allowed to board first. On this principle alone I will be flying Air Canada again. Thank you!!!
Cons: Flights all evening were cancelled. I was just going for a weekend and they couldn't reschedule me until the following evening. I couldn't go on the trip because of these problems. I was in the airport for hours with two young children and they did not do much to help me reschedule quickly.
Cons: Terrible experience. I bought 2 tickets for my parents from New York to Shanghai a month ago. But on the day of flight, Air Canada refused their boarding, stating that they did not have Canada visas, the fight would transfer in Montreal which needs Canada visa. I had never heard about it and it was never mentioned when I booking the tickets. I called the first customer service who was rude and not helpful. Finally, I found out that my parents had to transfer to Toronto, which does not need a visa. But in order to make the change, I had to pay Air Canada extra $1180, which were more expensive than the tickets self. At that time, I had no other choice. I am really upset. I want to warm all Chinese who don't have green card or Canada visa that do not buy tickets from Air Canada. Their customer service told me that they did not have the obligation to list this kind of information on their website. So if you choose Air Canada, you lose your money and deal with all the hassles by yourself. I will never use Air Canada in my whole life again.
Cons: My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning.
Cons: We were told our flight was delayed due to weather, and then due to mechanics. The weather was fine in both new york and toronto those days, and other toronto flights left on time. we ended up being delayed 6 hours in the airport, and other flights still went out ahead of us. furthermore, because our flight was delayed, they didn't seem to prepare for the new departure time, and we were held up for almost an hour on the runway before being able to take off, and almost 30 minutes on the runway once we landed too. better planning and customer service needs to be required in these situations.
Pros: We were lucky as we were the only flights that made it out of NY that night. All other fights to Toronto and Montreal were cancelled. It was Chaos in the airport but our flight was nice.
Pros: That at least, the plane eventually did take off and landed safely.
Cons: Fly time each way from NY to Toronto is approx an hour but they added an extra hour of a delay going and and an hour and a half delay further on the flight back home.
Pros: I prefer to fly Air Canada over the other airlines that fly between New York and Toronto because of the comfort and cleanliness in the aircraft and pleasant service.
Pros: Crew noticed I was thirsty and gave me the can without asking
Cons: Crew said I wish they would hurry up and get off and I whipped my head around and she apologized. She meant no harm but that's not good service.
Cons: Delayed for more than two hours on both the trips to and from Canada. This is a common thing with Air Canada i heard. Flights always get delayed.
Pros: The customer service reps were pleasant.
Cons: Our flight got delayed 7+ hours but we only found out one to two hours at a time. Our return flight was flat out canceled and so we were only able get a flight 4 hours after the original. They did nothing to compensate the passengers at all, claiming it was not their fault; it was due to construction. Construction which has been underway for several weeks and they were well aware. If you know there is going to be construction at the airport perhaps adjust your flight schedule accordingly and don't sell as many flights as when there is no construction?
Pros: Terrible experience with delays and cancellations and waiting times for customs. I felt like it was groundhog day. Had to leave the airport back through a massive line in customs after my flight was ultimately cancelled. They are doing work on the runways, weather, whatever. Seems some flights could leave especially those that were not Canadian airlines. This has happened on more than one occasion and the airline handles it very poorly with little communication. Will not fly AC again if I have the choice
Pros: Incredible plane!!
Cons: Bathrooms and seats need to be longer!
Pros: Im not impressed with air canada. Every time I fly with them there is ALWAYS a delay. I understand that they cant help weather. But when your flight gets delayed over an hour due to their own computer system failing on the way to newyork and to not be compinsated at all its not acceptable. Even on my way home from newyork we were supose to board at 7:55pm and ended up boarding at 9:40pm. they decided to pick and choose people to be boarded on the earlier flight that was right before mine. Not at all fair. I used my whole 30 minutes free wifi (that cuts in and out constantly)before we found out about the delay then I was left with nothing. Not cool when you cant contact anyone. Also REALLY ANNOYING. and the staff are rude if you ask them anything. Then on the plane i wasted 5 bucks trying to buy wifi since you guys dont even have it on your planes for free like delta does. Even then you pay for the worst wifi on the planet where your messages take a half hour to go through and over my whole hour and 10 minute flight i had 3 messages because of your horrible gogo wifi. Waste of money. Overall this whole air canada experience made me want to rip my hair out and stressed me out to the point that I dont want to fly again. I will more then likely not fly with you guys if it can be avoided
Pros: Easy to book and departure through LaGuardia is super easy - much better than JFK
Cons: Would rather pay more for flight and have more inclusions - e.g. Luggage and food as part of ticket. Also the check in was slow even through self service; with a group of five and an international flight to Canada, the passport scanning didn't work so well and required lots of manual entry
Pros: I love that I had a direct flight for my destination, from TLV to Pearson Int'l, at a decent price. This is usually hard to come by. The in flight entertainment options are very good. The online check-in process worked very well.
Cons: The service on my original TLV-Pearson Flight (Dec 23rd am) was not great. The staff sat in the back gossiping the entire time and looked offended every time I came to ask a question or ask for something - they would get silent and just sit there, like I was interrupting an important conversation and so I even offered to get my own stuff. Ridiculous! What happened to customer service? The food is HORRIBLE! Worst food I have ever had on a flight, and I flew to 8 countries this last year, so that says a lot. I'd recommend only eating food you bring, or just starving yourself.
Pros: Hi, even though i had online checked in, I had to wait 45 min in the queu just to leave my luggage. The reason for this increadable long queu was the insufficient crew. There were only three people were working on the desks for three different flights. It was really overwhelming!
Pros: Clean cabin, nice airplane
Cons: The plane was late enough to turn a commuter flight into a complete waste of an afternoon!
Pros: No issues on the flight to our destination.
Cons: Our return flight was delayed due to maintenance issues and then cancelled after 2 hours of waiting. We got re-scheduled for a flight due to leave 5 hours from when the flight was cancelled. We stood in line to get on an earlier flight (there were 3 earlier flights) and got wait listed on one. Thankfully, we got on that flight however, we were in the airport for 8 hours from 8am to 4pm for a 1 1/2 hr flight. Our original flight was supposed to leave around 10am. No flight re-imbursement was issued to us, and we only received lunch vouchers after we asked for them.
Cons: Customers was asked to give up carry on bags because flight was full well my bag never reached my destination
Cons: waiting a long time for some one to take us down stairs in the wheelchair to go to wash room ,and to collect our suit cases, and there was no wheelchair at the Plane exit door we have walk half way before we get one part way again, that when we wait very long she have left me and walk down stair, until a nice lady came and take me and let me went to the washroom and get our suit cases and take us to our passenger pickup. Every thing else was good. Thank God for a safe flight to and from I love to fly with AIR CANADA CHARLES GRAY
Pros: People that helped us were personable
Cons: The flight was delayed 40 and then 50 minutes. No announcements were made, the screen just changed. I'm glad I went up to ask about my connecting flight to Athens; if I had waited and got on the flight, I would have missed my connection. The people at the AirCanada desk were nice, and were able to find us other seats. However, we were promised seats on the 7:30 flight, but instead were put on the 5:45 flight. We asked for the AirCanada person to call back and change our flight, but she said we would have time (at this point, 1 hour and 20 minutes before the flight left), even though I showed her that there was a lot of traffic between LGA and JFK and we probably would not make it. We had to leave LGA, find our bags and wait in a long taxi line to sit in traffic in a cab we had to pay for our of pocket, and could not make the 5:45 flight. I then had to call AirCanada and wait for 15 minutes for the lady to switch us to the 7:30 flight. In all, we also lost 2 full hours in Athens.
Pros: The crew was amazing
Pros: There wasn't a single thing I enjoyed about coming back to Calgary through Toronto. Our flight was delayed 6+ times and we had to sleep on the floor of the Toronto airport being dodged by air canada personnel all evening without the ability to get our bags! It was terrible!
Cons: Our entire experience using air canada on our return flight was atrocious. Read above comment.
Pros: Flight was delayed several hours with no compensation given
Cons: The crew was fine but not overly friendly or helpful. They got the job done. I know that your coach seats are fairly standard in the industry. I just find the leg room to be too tight for a long distance flight.
Pros: Everything was on time, pleasant, and the best flight I had had in my last three trips with different airlines.
Cons: We were downgraded to a smaller plane, but it wasn't unpleasant--especially since the flight was only 1.5 hours.
Cons: Terribly slow security lines. Terribly slow custom lines with no one asking:"Does anyone have a flight they need to make soon?" to the line to get those folks rushed through. Left 20 minutes late due to 14 people stuck in those lines. Airplane sat 1 hour and 15 minutes on tarmac at Laguardia waiting for a gate. We were behind other planes waiting for a gate too. Once out of plane, tough time getting up to the terminal as the terminal was so crowded. Will avoid Air Canada and Laguardia like the plague.
Cons: I booked a flight for 8pm on Friday 7/29. Night of 7/28, I found out my plans changed and wanted to try and find an earlier flight. I called the help line and waited on hold for 1hour and 45min. The man I spoke with was able to move my flight to 12:50p for $200 change flight fee and $207 ticket difference. I arrive at the airport for this flight only to learn that the man last night moved my flight to the next day, Saturday 7/30. After over an hour of waiting and pleading, the check in attendant was able to get me back on my original flight and return the monies I paid for the seat change. However I had to wait at the airport for 8 hours until my flight, after wasting 2 hours on the phone and another hour at the check-in desk... 11hours total. THEN, they cancelled my 1:30pm return flight and could only get me on an 8pm flight, so another 8 hrs of waiting around. Customer service was terrible throughout. Will never fly this airline again
Pros: Food is good
Cons: Late again, in the last 4 flights over the last 5-6 weeks I was on time once. Two of the last 3 flights you lost my luggage and both times I was told I would have it late in the day or early evening. 3 weeks ago I received it 36 hours later and yesterday I got it the next morning. 3 weeks ago the overhead lights did not work in almost the entire plan. Yesterday, my movie kept cutting out and the guy next to me and a few others too. I got so frustrated that I shut it off.
Cons: Although the flight to Canada was fine, the ordeal to try to get back was awful! So apparently Air Canada makes up whatever rules that they see fit but doesn't make you aware of them until too late. In Canada, the "International" terminal is not for every country, but for every country EXCEPT the US...I didn't realize that the "Air Canada English" is its own language. Also, they will resell your seat arbitrarily, without any previous warning and have no problem stranding you in a different country, forcing to pay exorbitant change fees. If you try to straighten the situation AFTER the entire fiasco, the only recourse is a random email. I would not only NOT recommend this airline, but I would stay far, far away from using Air Canada!
Pros: Our flight was delayed about an hour and a half because of earlier delays in the day and the ground crew and pilot kept us fully informed of the situations as they evolved. Because of the timely updates I did not hear one person complain in my earshot range. Apart from the delay the service was great, as always.
Cons: My daughter got destroyed by a cup of coffee a passenger behind her was holding when turbulence struck quiet bad, neither he or the airline apologizes for either.
Pros: The boarding was efficient.
Cons: Seats weren't comfortable even with an empty seat beside me. Vegetarian meal was not good at all. The general pancake option was gone before it even got to where I was sitting and the omelette was old school flights.. Which in this case was really bad.
Cons: The vegetarian meal was awful
Pros: Good service, very attentive. Breakfast needs improvement
Cons: The middle seat is horrible, no room to even bend over to reach my bag which was at my feet. Very uncomfortable and no room to put the elbows because the other two seats take the elbow rests . Make it a double one or something because I couldn't even fall asleep for a second plus I got a back ache throughout the
Cons: I was seated in the middle of the plane right by the bathroom in the middle seat, the lady to the right had the same idea that these seats were very bad cause they don't have much space as the others also it's right next to the bathroom,, were you get to enjoy the noise from the bathroom door to flushing not include the smell,,, I wonder why you guy charge more for seats with space and you don't give discount for the worst seats in the plane,,, The lady complained and they changed here seat I had to stay there and not be able to sleep for more than 5 mints, from the reasons that I said before,,, by far the worst experience,
Cons: I called and confirmed a special meal 40 hours in advance. They said they had no request form me and gave me fruit,
Cons: The service in Newark airport
Cons: United needs stricter rules about boarding and de-boarding during Covid. They lag behind other airlines. De-boarding especially needs to be controlled. Very disappointed. Also, after row 21 there are no screens and you have to use your own device. Then provide outlets! Jeeze that's ridiculous. You need to have plugs if you have to use your own device during the flight!
Pros: It was a small plane. Seats we’re decent. Crew was great.
Cons: The flight was a late night flight to begin with and it was delayed because the plane wasn’t pulled out of the hangar and at the gate. Flight was delayed by more than 40mins due to this.
Pros: Fast boarding
Cons: Wi-Fi could be better with no interruptions. My movies were interrupted 2 times.
Pros: Minimal amount of announcements
Cons: Seat was uncomfortable and toilets were in need of cleaning.
Pros: Crew were really friendly and very courteous.
Pros: Amazing crew !!!
Pros: Entertainment system
Pros: The crew was cool! No problems whatsoever, didn’t know what was leaking on me! And the flight was horrible with Turbulence! I was scared at every moment and the landed was ok! I have had better flights!
Cons: I’m not sure at this point! Probably just Mother Nature!
Pros: great job over all.
Cons: No meal service, old entertainment system.
Cons: Flight attendants were very inattentive. After their initial go through with beverages and snacks, they were in the back chatting with each other for the rest of the time. One attendant was extremely rude to me when I was taking my daughter to the bathroom.
Pros: The seats are very comfortable.
Cons: The Newark security people were ridiculously rude. The flight was delayed due to mismanagement of the gates, and yet they yelled as us, the folks standing in line (and not making a ruckus). The flight attendants seemed bored and were inattentive.
Cons: It was very hot on the plane and uncomfortable for most of the flight.
Cons: The flight was supposed to leave at 9:15pm and didn’t leave until 12:00 am.
Cons: We sat on tarmac for two hours after the scheduled take off and weren’t even offered a glass of water...
Cons: I had my back and they made pay extra to check in. After inside the airplane everyone had their back back with them.
Pros: Seats had ample room. Crew was nice. Good choice of movies.
Cons: There was a problem passenger and we all had to get off with all of our carry on, and then repeat the whole boarding process. Very inconvenient.
Cons: Food was mediocre and in very small amounts, even the I have been seated in premium economy, there still was little space in the armrests and hardly any recline
Pros: Food was pretty tasty.
Cons: Flight was delayed, seats are just too close for a 10 hour flight.
Pros: Extremely uncomfortable flight
Pros: Flight was smooth and shorter than I thought.
Cons: Forcing people to pay for wifi is ridiculous, this was a cross country flight. The united app was super confusing to use. Don't plan on using this airline again, unless I have no other option.
Cons: I was told that I had to gate check my bags which had all of the necessities to travel with my child ( snacks, books, toys) due to it being a full flight. When I boarded, there were still several overhead storage bins completely empty. Very annoying. The crew could have physicallt assessed and checked before assuming due to flight capacity.
Pros: Excellent service. On time. No complaints
Cons: Was great
Pros: It was quick.
Cons: An old lady was tryna bag, but I just wanted my Hulu show.
Pros: Flight entertainment Comfortable seats
Cons: The crew was not very nice. The electric plug didn't work
Pros: Alex and Marcus -- flight attendants -- were awesome. They thanked passengers directly and personally for flying United, and this was a very nice touch and I observed that passengers were touched by this gesture.
Pros: The staff was great, very helpful and courteous.
Cons: Theres no food whatsoever and no options for the tv unless you pay. The seats aren't spacious.
Pros: free movies on the flight with the united app
Cons: The flight attendant was late delaying boarding 20 minutes. Once they started, people were lining up to board. This is a normal behavior however, there employee decided to stop boarding because she said people were crowding. she stop boarding for another 20 minutes. Now, this was a large flight and there wasn't enough room for everyone to stand off to the side. She was rude and there was no reason for this especially when the flight attendant was already late. The plane was delayed 45 minutes due to this
Cons: Can't think of i enjoy it
Pros: The flight at the time was so crowded with people
Cons: Experiencing a delay in my flight and waited 4 hours in the airport.
Cons: My trip was poor because my flight got cancelled and I couldn't get on another flight until 24hours later and there were NO hotels available at all that night and this was an emergency flight I needed to be on. I will not be flying with you guys again because no one cared that I was basically stranded in NY with no where to go and I wasn't given any options to make my trip with you guys better.
Cons: My luggage lock was broken.
Cons: The default on the browser defaulted to April 9 when I was actually booking the ticket for April 2. So I had to forfeit the $317 ticket. I use kayak a lot - can anything be down ?
Cons: I was delayed and missed my connecting and then was not helped in Denver.
Cons: All of it. EVERY SINGLE BIT...
Pros: How helpful and polite everyone was.. This is only my second time to fly and was a good experience. Thank you
Cons: I did not like the seats. I was unable to recline and rest the way I wanted and did not like having to wait 45 minutes for baggage claim to drop my bags
Pros: We were upgraded to first class on our connecting flight and my husband and i sat together. That made up for the first flight, because our seating separated us three, which I didn't like.
Cons: Delayed flight to Denver and our seats were not together.
Pros: Pilot was great in keeping us informed. Flight was late getting in, then in line with a lot of planes waiting to take off. Then at O'Hare our gate wasn't ready and had to circle. And then we were at the gate farthest from baggage claim. At least the was relatively smooth.
Cons: See above...lateness of everything
Pros: The plane didn't crash
Cons: I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience.
Pros: Great crew. Good communication.
Cons: Lazy airline. Wouldn't tell me before hand whether or not flight was delayed or canceled. Waited until flight was invevitably delayed before were were told it was. Cost me a day. Lost work. Asked airline beforehand about conditions due to whether and was blown off like I was a dumb person who didn't matter.
Pros: Not too much
Cons: Last row smelled like throw up and crew didnt care to resolve . Then someone else came aftr people complain. Still didnt get resolved. And they gave my 8 month pregnant wife a hard time walking in front and said she technically doesnt have a disability. Worse flying experience. Then my bag was ripped half open i carasel.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. A young lady on my Houston to Austin flight helped me find my seat. A young man on my New York to Houston flight was very kind.
Cons: Flight was very late. Boarding is rediculous. They load from the front of the plane and people go to the back looking for overhead storage and then try to more forward again while the people with seats in the back are coming in.
Pros: I had a blood coat on my leg 2 months before my flight and the pain and swelling sometimes were unbearable, United was extremely accommodating, kind and courteous from the check in all the way to helping me retrieve my luggage in a wheel chair and that alone ease my pain, not having to do any extra effort was a huge relief on my legs. Definitely booking again with United and Kayak
Cons: TSA were less than basic, making me go up and down twice trough two different metal detectors and a body scan machine, then asking me to put both my hands above my head while standing up in the body scanner, a guy in a wheel chair who could only stand with a cane, these guys are barbaric but that's not the airlines fault.
Pros: they gave us the whole can to drink on the flight for drinks
Cons: the stupid old white man at baggage check in in New YOrk who was EXTREMELY rude and made me HATE flying with UNited
Pros: I arrived safe and sound. A United ticket clerk at Chicago O'Hare was super nice but didn't really help my situation. I appreciated her effort and warm demeanor.
Cons: After booking the flight I noticed that there was a 25 minute window between the time my flight was scheduled to land in my connecting city and the departure time of my connecting flight. Aware that most airline close the gate door and the flight 10 to 15 minutes before take off and the fact that it takes about 15 minutes to get off a flight after the aircraft door open, I was sure that this would be a problem. Also if I then had to change terminals that would be another 20 minutes. Long story short, I thought this was poor customer service on United's side. I called united the day before my flight and customer service rep assured me that it would be the same terminal and that these times are customary on the part of United. I then also mentioned this at the gate as well and talked to a very kind Flight Attendant. Everyone worked to put me at easy about this. My flight left 20 minutes late but made the time up while in the air. We landed I got off the flight in record time and asked a gate attendant to check my flight status. The flight and gate had been closed. They then had be go talk with a very kind woman at the customer service desk. She then moved me to a AA flight. She said "now the fate closes in 10 minutes so you probably won't make it but run". "You've got to be kidding me" i thought but she was so nice so I didn't question it... But I RAN!!! I didn't make it and AA customer service rep put me on the last flight out. I say in the airport for an extra 4 hours and ate lots of food I'm sure is slowly killing me as we speak. Happy to be safe and at home.
