Pros: "The fact that I made it to my destination on time, Barely. The crew was professional but not too involved, mostly hung out in the back of the plane having personal conversations. Pilot was very dry, and I really didn’t feel welcome to be a passenger."
Cons: "The boarding process is ridiculous, rush everyone to a bus and just to sit on a plane for an hour?! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen experienced during a flight. What were the flight attendants doing?? Nothing. Didn’t offer any water or a misery of a snack while we waited. The pilot didn’t tell us anything, like where we were in line for departure, or what the hold up was. Very poor flight experience. I will avoid Mexico City airports and Aeromexico for a while...please contact me for more details. Thank you."

And then were coerced into having to purchase another 2 tickets on the next flight, instead of them transferring our seats from one to the other. I didn’t appreciate the fact that she got to sit up front without paying and that the AeroMexico crew did nothing to call her out or send her back. The lesson: Don’t pay the extra money for AM Plus. Just wait until no one is watching and move up front. No one cares—except your fellow passengers who paid for the added comfort."

Pros: "Tons of food during the flight, you can still get alcoholic beverages without extra charges, very on time. Flight from here to Mexico was perfect. Now, on my way back, there was a 5 hour delay. The treatment was much better than other airlines, but it would have been better to let us know that we could track the plane from GDL. Now my only complaint regarding the small airplane from MTY to NYC is that the entertainment is provided via a mobile device, yet there's no ports for charging it, and there's no way a device will last that long, which made the whole excercise totally useless."

Boarding crew (not on flight but in the terminal) was NOT nice-- I had a garment bag that in past experience does not count as an additional carry on since it can be placed on top of carry-on in overhead bin. Boarding crew member insisted I was over the limit (when though at check-in, the staffer saw how many pieces I had and made no comment) and she insisted I had to check one item AND pay the baggage fee. But this was a problem only because it was a full flight, and I was being punished just because my seat was in a tow closer to the front and boarded later, therefore there was less room left in the overhead bins. Also seemed ridiculous to charge for the first checked bag, with most other reputable airlines, there is no fee for the first checked bag for international flights."

As I am a vegetarian I was not able to request one. So I was woken up to people talking and eating and I could not myself eat anything. The "dimmed" cabin lights were bright. Crew members were not respectful of passengers sleeping as they talked in normal voices. I also found it very rude that I asked a crew member for a pillow and he said they didn't have any without even checking. Which I don't believe. Overall it was an awful experience and I will never fly Aeromexico again. I am going to tell all my friends and family to never fly this airline."

During the flight the pilot made up about 15minutes but then a Heathrow circled for 20 minutes this caused us to miss our connecting fight what are it worse is that BAnever todos we had issued our flight even though they knew but the time we landed that we could no take it through security in time . It wa very confusing trying to figure out that we had to reschedule and where and how to do it."

I haven't seen anything like that since the 1990s! There was no USP or outlet to charge phones or ipads so i couldn't even use my entertainment. Passengers should be informed in advance or given a significant discount. Very disappointed."

I had to get my boarding passes through American Airlines and then flew through British Airways. It would have been very frustrating/difficult to a new traveler. The flights themselves were very good, they were accommodating and was able to move my seat for me in JFK, the flight with British Airways was good."

Got to the counter at 10:50 (flight was delayed to 11:48) and they would not let check in. Ended up missing all my connecting flights and had to pay an additional $1600 as a result."
Pros: "The airplane cabin needed attention for some cosmetic details (broken tray tables, worn bathroom fixtures), and time gained on a fast flight was eaten up by a long delay in landing, but the crew was courteous, professional, and very kind, especially for a few passengers who developed problems during the flight (a disabled mother whose toddler became unruly; an older women who suffered travel sickness), and the food was surprisingly tasty."

I called them immediately and was told the flight was cancelled because of inclement weather on the route. I checked the national weather advisory and saw no such weather alert. The service rep at BA told me there was "absolutely nothing" she could do, at which point I asked for a manager. I waited for almost 30 minutes, and once the manager came on I was put on a flight that same night, on a different airline. If I hadn't pushed back and demanded a more reasonable accommodation, they would have done nothing to right their wrong. For this reason I am extremely unhappy with my experience with British Airways."

Cons: "The flight was being run by Iberia, not British Airways. Iberia has a policy which did not allow me to check in without proof of a return flight. Unfortunately, my travel partner had booked the return flight and did not share the details with me. I was not able to reach my travel partner and, as such, was forced to buy a new ~$2,300 return ticket on the spot in order to provide the necessary proof. This was an extreme inconvenience, as I nearly missed my flight. If Iberia or British Airways made its travelers aware of this policy in advance of their check in. I have no intention of flying Iberia ever again."

To me, that's above and beyond, being in the service industry myself. The entertainment was really diverse and offered many options. The food was good and the red wine was excellent. The pilot gave us regular updates about the flight and the weather in Barcelona, our destination. The seats were roomy and comfortable. Restrooms were very clean."

Gate staff lied about the status of the plane, updating the boarding time to 10 minutes and then announcing that the plane was still in the hangar. Passengers would have been much happier to hear the truth of a 2h delay so that we could get food/drink. Instead we had 2h worth of promises that the plane was leaving in 10 mins. No effort was made at being nice--no free snacks or whatever would be nice to make people feel cared for. But what's worse was the flight attendants. I don't even feel like getting into it--just suffice to say these are people who should not be working in the service industry. I saw them being rude to a number of people and it made an already bad experience (with the 2h delay) that much worse. It's not that hard to be polite to people. AA should do more to hire caring, kind staff who create happy vibes even through stressful times."

Cons: "We flew from Rome to JFK and arrived at 12:40 pm only to find out that our 3:30 pm flight had been cancelled a long time ago. No one had notified us of our new booking on a 9:10 flight to Boston. No one at American or British Airways could provide us with an earlier departure or compensate us to take alternative transportation. Our 9:10 flight was then delayed until 10:50 pm. We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."

Cons: "The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good."

Completely different terminal,we were lucky we had 3 hours between connections, the whole process took over an hour. Very confusing. The plane was American Airlines, Iberia was not mentioned anywhere else,very confusing. Dinner was served within an hour of taking off at 11pm, which we didnt have, but then nothing until an hour before landing and very hurried. Staff had been very busy chatting in the galley. No snacks available. Had a group of rowdy and rude passengers near us, not alcohol related. I think staff shoud have had a word with them, it looked like they didnt want to know, another passenger finaly did after 5 patient hours. Arrived in London, our bags did not. Staff were good. They found the error straight away. They delivered them to our home the next day which was a very good service."

I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!"

The food mediocre/unremarkable but heh, it's an airplane , the crew ok but uniforms dated and drab. The real letdown was the entertainment system. Or I shoudld say lack thereof. I was psyched that the seat was designated as having a charger. Yeah, if I'm carrying my car charger with me! Yikes!!! So, strike one. Then, NO ON DEMAND service of any kind, since this plane is not equipped with wifi, which would have given us the ability to watch on an iPad or other device. Strike two. And THEN, when you think, no this can't get worse, there are a strong of three 2ND RATE movies shown back to back. No choice, no watch when you want, in other words, no ON DEMAND. Oh, and did I mention the really really REALLY old pull-out remote control with a credit card phone on the flip side? STRIKE THREE! This was a Finnair booking through Kayak, but on an American Airlines code share. The gate at JFK was changed no less than 4 times, the final time, one hour before departure, from Gate 14 to Gate 45. Good thing I had left myself plenty of extra time! The check-in process at Finnair counter no less than a nightmare. Stood in line for 30 minutes, then told we had to go to "Line 1" and use one of the kiosks to print our boarding passes (we checked in online but were not given phone-board passes) and check our bags. This area was nothing short of pandemonium with agents yelling at us to form straight lines. Many of the kiosks were not working not working and there were not enough agents to help the throngs."

After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience."

They made us pay $20 for each carry on bag that we take for free on every other flight. The flight was 2 hours late. There was nothing free on the flight, no water, pretzels, nothing. It was a 2 hour flight and the crew sped through the cabin serving things that nobody bought. The Airbus 320 had absolutely no screens on the back of seats, no inflight entertainment or information. Bare bones service, not pleasant.

And apparently they were over widget but the website said I was okay. I even called and tripped check since this was our first time flying with them. They told us to get there at least 3 hour before our flight and they didn’t start checking us in until 3:50 ! I felt rushed after because we didn’t have time to grab a coffee or eat. The workers are rude and disrespectful not helpful at all !"

And both carryon and luggage have to weight 10 kg - AND IF YPU GET ANYTHING ELSE AT THE DUTY FREE THEEY REWEIGHT YOUR BAGS AND MAKE YOUPAY IF IT GOES OVER!!! They always change the boarding gate and don’t have anyone telling you to go to the new gate! You have to walk and look out to the screens for the stupid sign!"
