Pros: Very nice and friendly service
Pros: Very nice and friendly service
Pros: Crew was professional and helpful.
Cons: Seat was narrow for business class.
Pros: The crew were so friendly and helpful.
Cons: I was told on the phone earlier (and very rudely) there are no gluten free options for eating. I have celiac disease and do not do the diet for "fun". It's for health. I found out thanks to the excellent crew on board there is an option.
Pros: excellent crew, well manner, well dresses smart feel... they seem to know my needs before I did .. loved it
Cons: wider wash rooms onboard .. wider seats .. wider seat bealts also plane from FRA - BOM could use service maintinace ... it seemed like an older aircraft
Pros: Large entertainment variety
Cons: Comfort less than desirable. Not enough sitting space. Also my luggage was left behind in Munich.
Pros: Nice comfortable flight
Cons: misspellt my name!
Pros: Priority boarding for parents with children was a huge help. Provided extra blankets and most of the crew's friendliness was very appreciated.
Cons: Provided bassinet is much too small for even a 17 months old. Also very hard bedding made it impossible for the kid to sleep. We observed same with the other parents. Alone with that, the height of the bassinet makes it easy for the kid to get distracted. WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts.
Cons: The flight was delayed several times and we were kept waiting at the gate without knowing when exactly we will leave.
Pros: Flight was good.
Cons: They lost 2 of my checked in bags and damaged 2 others.
Pros: The service and the entertainment system
Cons: Food was not up to the mark, which it almost always is. The crew were a little rude at times, which is also not very common with this airlines.
Pros: Even though the flight was delayed by a couple of hours, Kayak kept us continuously informed about where we stood. Thanks!
Pros: Just fine.
Cons: My eyes got so dry that I couldn't see very well for a few hours after landing, everything was hazy and glowing, like I had a film on my eyes. I've been on way longer flights before and I've never experienced this, it was scary.
Pros: Screen monitor and flight map
Cons: Flight was delayed and it was kinda cramped
Cons: Pathetic food, and really rude crew by the standards of an international flight.
Pros: Great crew, smooth boarding. The dinner was fine, salmon on rice, salad, cheese and desert, of good quality when compared to typical airline food. The breakfast was ok, fruit, muffin and ok cereal bar, too carb-heavy though. The entertainment offered my options. I particularely enjoyed the "Deep-Sleep" relaxation audios which indeed helped me to get some shut-eye during the overnight flight that left the East Coast late afternoon.
Cons: The comfort in the economy class is mediocre at best. We had more space on the inner-German connection, see next review, than the international flight. The beverage service was skimpy. Flight arrived Dusseldorf on time and then spend 20 minutes on the ground, waiting for a gate, resulting in a scramble to reach our connection.
Pros: Nothing really. It was an overall terrible flight.
Cons: The crew was so bad. When asked for my special meal 2.5 hrs into the flight, they said you haven’t ordered any, which in fact I had a month before my flight. The crew member instead insisted that ”you should've brought your own food” not once but twice. No courtesy nothing. I was super disappointed. I fly a lot and this was hands down my worst flight. Also, the aircraft and seats were terribly uncomfortable (Boeing 747-8 Economy). Boarding took forever as well. Overall a very shocking experience from a very experienced airline otherwise.
Pros: Professionalism of the crew
Cons: tight sits
Cons: Nothing. Great flight great crew.
Cons: Boarding was an unorganized free-for-all
Cons: Terrible plane: old propeller plane, bouncing in the wind. Inbound flight was late and I guess plane wasn't cleaned in between; had empty coke bottle and wrappers in my seat pocket. Felt like cutting costs and corners everywhere. This was the regional partner, not UA
Pros: Hasn't happened. Still waiting.
Pros: The service and space on the airplane were excellent.
Cons: The boarding was a little chaotic but that may be a result of the limited space available at Newark Airport.
Cons: Baby kept most of the cabin up for three hours of a six-and-half hour flight. I know this isn't Lufthansa's fault, but they did little to help. Also, business class seats are too hard!
Pros: I LOVED the Crew. Exceptional! Polite, accommodating, kind, friendly. Just wonderful. The food was pretty good too! The entertainment was great. I loved that the toilets were in a separate area downstairs! The flight was overall pretty comfortable. The cabin temperature was also great, not the freezing temperature found on American planes. Thank you LUFTHANSA!!!
Cons: The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection.
Cons: The ticketing when purchasing a ticket from NEW YORK is very unclear and even though we wanted a JFK ticket, the NEW YORK search showed a ticket for NEWARK NJ so my step dad ended up going to the JFK airport - An elderly man who has trouble with English and no one was willing to help him to rebook his ticket. Not only that - the Lufthansa people VOIDED his entire ticket including the second leg because the agency wasn't picking up for a rebooking so the entire ticket cost was lost - $1200 - GONE! We couldn't even get him a one way ticket so he could use the return part of the one he bought. This is an absolute customer service disaster. This man lost all his money, he saves up all year to go see his family. That's an ugly way to take advantage of people.
Cons: The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )
Cons: Stoll in Germany first flight was over 1.5 hour late a I miss my original flight. I must wait now for afternoon flight and wait all day having family emergency situation.
Cons: Ridiculous policy that couldn't get seat until 23 hours in advance, then that wasn't even true. Then misinformed me about what kind of seat I had been assigned. Then insisted I check a bag that did not need to be checked. Then the food was inedible. Flight happened to be late so I missed my connection, and they offered some more misinformation in that regard; There were of course human beings (staff) to deal with, but they had been reduced by Lufthansa's rules and systems so they were just robots, repeating over and over again inflexible policies. Horrible!
Pros: Liked all about the flight except the delay, but got good treatment from airline during extended trip
Cons: Plane was late to depart, missed connection in Frankfurt
Pros: Service, comfort, movie selections
Cons: Entertainment center was not working properly. Had to be rebooted twice.
Cons: i missed this connection was put on a united flight and was bumped down from business to economy. no apologies, no effort whatsoever to make up
Cons: N/A because we missed the flight.
Cons: The flight was late for 2 hrs with no explanation
Pros: Service and crew excellent
Cons: Boarding took too long as automated boarding was defective.
Pros: Wine was nice. Great selection of movies. The crew were extremely helpful.
Cons: Food was a bit bland. And there was no salt or pepper to be found.
Pros: The basics were fine.
Cons: The crew on the flight was really loud and talked about unprofessional things. Every time I was woken up it was by a flight attendant talk to another attendant really loud across the plane. Also, this was advertised as Lufthansa but was actually United. Kayak seems to do this frequently, and as a customer it is confusing and disappointing.
Pros: Food was good, boarding was easy, transfer in Munich very manageable
Cons: The seats are unusually narrow and there is no place to put your book and iPad in the seat pocket in front of you. Also, very unremarkable service
Pros: That the flight left on time and arrived early. The flight attendant was very friendly but knew his job well, and went the extra mile to be sure we were all comfortable.
Cons: That the plane seemed noisy (from the back row at least). That the flight attendant did not help me find my seat. After travelling almost 24 hours I was tired and was trying to find the seat using the boarding gate number. I figured out I should have been in 9 D by the end of the flight. Instead I sat in the last row because it was empty and there was not a seat 26A. I almost missed this flight because my boarding pass said 26A and really it was 27A. I did look at the board. I did not compare the board to the ticket, and the numbers were so close my tired brain thought they matched. When it was time to board I checked at gate 26A and she sent me around the construction. I told the guy there (27A) I was looking for 26A and he said to go around the construction. I told him they sent me to him and he insisted I go around the construction. I would have missed the plane if someone else had not come up just then and said he was going to Richmond. At that point I told the guy I was too, and he checked my ticket. Some of the problem was my tired brain and you cannot fix that. Perhaps when someone tells your employee that they have already been sent around the construction the employee should just check the ticket instead of trying to send them back.
Pros: it was much more comfortable on the second part of the flight
Cons: The Newark airport is a swamp of unpleasant facilities and personnel.
Pros: In my experience Lufthansa is almost always on time and very professional in how they manage their flights.
Pros: Professional and courteous flight attendants.
Pros: Great flight
Pros: i am glad that i got there safely and ahead of time
Cons: it was NOT a lufthansa flight, which is what i was expecting and wanted. it was a united flight . i wanted to fly lufthansa because it is a higher quality experience than united, but for some reason after i bought the ticket i learned that united was operating the flight for lufthansa
Pros: The crew was very pleasant and several announcements made the flight easy
Cons: We were late !
Pros: Service and meals were excellent and well organized.
Cons: I booked the flight with Lufthansa and thought I was flying with them. When I first went to terminal C at Newark with my paperwork United told me I had to go to terminal B. I went to ' B ' and Lufthansa told me to go back to Terminal C , that I was flying on a United flight. So I went back and the United people helped me. It all worked out well but was initially confusing.
Cons: The crew seemed not to Americans, funny is that I'm not even one just speak English well, rude!
Pros: Flight crew was terrific. Very courteous and helpful.
Cons: The movies were mediocre and system was not easy to use.
Pros: Fast flight
Cons: Problems with movies and system. Terrible food.
