Cons: "kayak should let you know when buying the ticket that the first portion of the flight codeshare with united express doesn't cover a second bag I called ANA they said i could bring two so I did but I was charged 100 dollars for it even though it was an international flight with ANA also united express shattered the outside of one of my checked bags so I paid 100 dollars to get a 50 dollar suitcase BROKEN UNITED won't respond to my inquiries. I am very disappointed."

Pros: "I liked the plane! Beautiful and new, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner was a pleasure to ride in. Staff was as pleasant and helpful as they always are on ANA and despite the long delay due to an engine repair, the ANA staff conducted themselves incredibly professionally."

I received what I asked for with an eye-roll and a shocked face. Just be nice - that's all."

When I got back to US, even that flight was canceled, and I was delayed for 2 more hrs so that United can have a completely packed last flight to st. Louis. My checked suitcase arrived with a different flight. United shows complete disregard of their passengers. I believe I overpaid for the tickets considering such a service."

Pros: "First and foremost, I appreciate the crew refusing to take off until the broken valve was absolutely perfect. Although this took well over an hour after we were supposed to take off, my priority was to come home safely to my kids. So thank you for making that happen!"

Additionally, the video screen assigned to my seat was not working properly. It was a touch screen, and something was malfunctioning. Perhaps someone can keep a closer eye on these details."

Cons: "Our initial flight was delayed by 2 hours and some, we lost the connecting flight from Munich to Cluj-Napoca, had to stay in the Munich airport for 12h, being very tired, hungry, having a terrible flu and fever, extremely pissed off, your personnel who did not tell us there was a relaxing area or that we were supposed to get food vouchers. The plane should've been checked and ready on time,and certainly not after some passengers boarded it. The new plane they switched it with was not properly cleaned, plus we had no earphones. One of the flight attendants was constantly passive-aggressive. I did not appreciate that at all. The tickets issued at Newark had no gate assigned for our connecting flight and with the delay and everything, more time was wasted with finding that. The boy who rebooked us for the next flight did not assist with anything, did not tell us about vouchers. after finding out about that, I was disappointed for receiving 12€ for 12h=one sandwich and one 0.5lt of mineral water. Seriously? It was not my fault that this happened. I expected better from Lufthansa."

Bags were taken off the plane and then put back on...the subsequent flight (the next day) was also delayed, and required half he plane to sprint through Montreal to their connections. It was not worth it. Especially considering I tried to call Air Canada for some of my refund and the number they gave me was a fax line."

Cons: "All three Air Canada flights that I had to take on this itinerary were late including the 2nd one which was six hours late. Air Canada personnel on this 2nd flight did not do a good job of communicating information to the customers during the delay. Air Canada booked be on a 3rd night that lead me to only get 3 hours sleep in a hotel. AC does not work with the customers when booking flights. they just make changes after the previous flight has left the ground."

Cons: "Very very bad customer service. I was flying to Rome from NYC on Friday night and my flight was cancelled. I was just notified by a text saying that there was a change in my flight. After calling customer service, I was forced to take the afternoon flight on Friday as I had to be in Rome for a wedding on Saturday. Even if I was rushed to the airport (my call with the customer service took place at 12.00 and the flight was after 2.30 hours...) and cancelled all my appointments and had to take special permission to leave from work, I was never offered any upgrades or refunds while at the same time the attitude of the rep was take the change or leave it. At the airport, I called again the customer service to understand better the cancellation policy based on their website and their response was to apply on the website and maybe I would get a little bit of money and they don't offer upgrades for these kind of situations. They indicated that it is up to gate manager to decide for upgrades, which when I tried this approach I was notified that the customer service should have flag me appropriately....I don't really care about the refund or the upgrade as at the end I was able to reach my destination on time; however, it was extremely disappointing to see a whole organization that does not take into consideration their customers time and ignore any descent customer service to them. Simply, never again."

The flight wasn't very full and the crew was kind and generous with a couple of us wanting to switch our seats around. The tvs in the back of the headrest definitely kept me occupied watching New Girl. Overall, I was very comfortable and got to my destination without getting upset or angry once...which can't be said for all airlines."

It didn't take very long to get through...maybe 30-45 minutes (which I planned for) but the line snaked through two floors and wrapped through the check in area. It just looked incredibly daunting. I was the last person to board. This was my 1st time traveling to that airport. No way to know that the Tran would require me to pass through security checkpoint again. Get better communication with people. The lady at the desk was just saying go to terminal A! They should have had a person directing all of us to go to the shuttle and bussed us to the terminal."

Got to the gate BEFORE flight was to take off but plane was uncoupled from ramp and NO STAFF present. Went to another Air China gate and could not get any help. No supervisors to help. Five people missed the connection. Had to wait over EIGHT hours for next flight and was offered NOTHING by way of compensation. Does not appear that Air Chine wants to live up to the country's status in the world. Very poor service."
