Pros: "liked the crew, but didn't know that we would have to check our bags, since the plane was small & had no overhead. Also, I wish I would have been told ahead of time, that I would have to check my bag again going home, even though the plane did have overhead space. Other than that, I love AA!"
Cons: "I didn't get very good instructions about picking up my carry on bag plane side. I was told to go to the baggage claim instead by a staff member when I came out of the plane, but this was wrong, so I ended up waiting a very long time for them to bring me my carry on bag to the baggage claim."

Pros: "didn't get my flight you said booking was guaranteed refund 24 hours but when i call to change or refund you said the airline would not change or refund. you didn't live up to your end. if you refund i would consider tat but for now. i would never use kayak again and will post my experience"
Cons: "you could have change my return when i called 2 hours after or 18 hours after now i have to pay 500 to get home you should live up to your rules and refund my money"

Cons: "When I checked in on line, I was asked to choose my seat. However, there were no seats available that were free of added charge. I had to pay another $50.00 for a seat. I do believe, when I have a confirmed ticket, I should not have to pay an additional charge for a seat."

Pros: "After we boarded there was a lot of confusion with the flight attendant. Apparently people ‘s bags got mislabeled. He didn’t know the those passengers final destination. Then he called out to see if a passenger was on board...shouldn’t he know? He had the list in his hand. Another baggage issue. Third, he asked if there were children under 10...was thoroughly confused when he only found one. It was a bit unsettling to the point where we were wondering where we were really going to end up. But our pilot, Hercules, got us there."

Pros: "My flight was delayed many hours so I wasn’t going to make my connecting flight in NY it to Toronto, There service agent was great and found me a seat on a later flight that was direct. Overall, happy with their service found me the best flight available."
Cons: "I never could figure out why the flight was delayed, there were a couple of other delayed AA flights too. I was supposed to get to Toronto at 2pm for a 5pm presentation, but I didn’t get in until 9. I also felt their website was deceptive or maybe needs updating,When I bought my ticket It stated that I would get 3 bags complimentary since it was Canada that wasn’t the case, I was charged for $60 for both."

Cons: "Plane was late missed the connecting flight. Aer Lingus/American Airlines refused to help us find another flight to Dublin. I called Vagama customer service and the attended refused to help get an additional flight or confirm our returning flight would be held."

Cons: "I was not able to get seats assigned to us before arriving at the gate. We got put on the very last row by no choice of our own. The seats are not designed for the average adult, possibly the worst ergonomics of any seats I've ever encountered. Extremely uncomfortable flight."

Cons: "My daughter is in a wheelchair. She was a carry on (I e I carry her on board). The staff knew this but failed to notify the airport. Hence, we had to deplane without a jetway. I didn’t. The steep stairs made it unsafe. Had to wait a long time for a handcranked lift. No one really knew what they were doing and they wanted to put her in an adult wheelchair in spite of my identifying safety issues. My daughter was scared and upset. Epic failure on AA’s part. Communication breakdown on many levels. Shameful."

Pros: "Great Wifi! After reading bad reviews it was actually ok. Flew business on the A319 (single aisle plane) and it reminded me of qantas 737. I think for a short haul day flight I may just put up with economy instead for the price. Food is ok. I think with AA you have to pick your aircraft, it makes a difference what plane you fly as to what you get in business class. FA's were great. Overall I'd fly them again. Food was ok."
Cons: "They asked everyone to put the window shades down but I fly window seat because I like looking out! It was a day flight too! LAX T4 lounge is being refurbished so you need to go to T5 and make sure it's not the regional lounge!"

Cons: "Outside of one drink service we never saw or heard from the crew. Not one food item for purchase was ever offered. I am glad I ate in the terminal or it would have been bad for me."

Cons: "The service had much to be desired. The stewardess who was serving our section was curt and rude. Whenever I would ask for a napkin (that she had forgotten to give with my drink, I might add) or any other questions, she would come off as annoyed and as if I was testing her patience, which I did not appreciate as I had been having a horrible experience with American Airlines as it was. Also, why do you not serve milk with your coffee? The flight only served half and half, and I cannot have cream in my coffee at all. So unless you want to clean up my diarrhea in your toilets, I suggest you start giving options. It's not like milk is a scarce delicacy in the US. How is it that other airlines offer both milk and cream, but I get told by your staff, rudely, that half and half "is milk" and that it's all you have? Unbelievable. I hate to be a b*** but honestly this isn't the first time that I got treated like this on AA. I always seem to have a horrible experience with this airline."

Cons: "There was no one at the gate to deplane us in Toronto. There for I missed my westjet connection home by 5 minutes. I was looking at the plane by the jet way unable to get on. AA staff would not pay for a hotel for being so late to Toronto because the wether was not thier fault, which I agree. But the lack of staffing was and a hotel should have been provided to me due to this. I will never fly America Airlines again due to my incoming flight to Toronto and the out bound to Philadelphia (cancelled on the way to Philly for no apparent reason)."

Cons: "I hate paying extra for almost every seat on the plane. It's a con job. Food selection was terrible. If I'm paying anyway, give me better choices. No monitors in plane at all. Entertainment needs to be viewed on a tablet or laptop of some sort."

Pros: "I'm in the military so thank you for allowing active duty to board with 1st class passengers. Also having the free movies available to watch is great too!"
