Pros: Compared to our flight from ORD to MEX a week earlier, this plane had more leg room.
Cons: The seats were still uncomfortable. The flight was listed on the screen in the terminal as "8:00 on time" with a gate "B1" which I learned meant they didn't have a gate assignment yet. This continued until nearly 8:00! Finally, they changed it to "8:40 on time" (which is a lie, as it was to be an 8:00 flight), and assigned gate 17. The boarding process was pretty much chaos, and our supposed 8:00 flight took off a little after 9:30, despite no weather issues at MEX or ORD, or any other understandable reasons for the delay and disorganization. I'm questioning whether I would ever fly Interjet again, and I'm wondering about ways to avoid MEX, as some of the problems seem to be with the airport itself.
Pros: The price of the ticket was great.
Cons: The flight was crowded, no overhead bin space from passengers putting coats and jackets in the bin instead of under their seats. I was in the middle seat between two large men breathing down on me while they slept. It was a nightmare. On a flight that long the seats shouldn’t be that close in proximity nor should larger passengers be allowed to sit in seats too small for their body type. That’s not discrimination that’s logical.
Cons: The flight was delayed because one or more of the crew were late. I would suggest that when you board a large flight, start from the rear of the plane, not the front. Having to go past everyone to get to your seat is time consuming and somewhat stressful. The food was super gross. The so called beef bulgogi was not appetizing at all. For breakfast, the food was disgusting.
Pros: Crew was super helpful and very accomodating
Cons: Can’t think of anything. A few times I’ve flown Delta, the service has improved. Having helpful staff on board is very important . Years ago it was very unpleasant to fly Delta because of rude flight attendants especially on us domestic flights. Hopefully that has all changed. Especially the older crew. If they can’t stand doing better customer service they need to retire . Happy to fly Delta and will let people know.
