And the gate people allowed them to do so I had to be the one to say excuse me we were here 1st. On top of that when we landed back in NY I heard my stroller get tossed and discovered when I got home it was broke. So upset!!!"

For a few extra bucks, I can fly to Lebanon, NH thanks to Cape Air and save my family members hours and hours of driving. Very convenient. The Cape Air staff and pilots are always super friendly!"

Pros: "You see there was a terrible storm that closed the EIS Beef Island Airport. But because I booked through ya'll I was totally screwed. The individual Airlines are not permitted to rebook my ticket because you are a third party carrier. and You would not rebook because the airline could not change the flight status on the first plane from Mayaguez to San Juan - that flight was not cancelled due to the closure but because I would be stuck in San Juan for possibly 2 days with no money and no where to sleep, well you get the point. So InterCaribbean and Cape Air came to the rescue and after a 4-5 hour ordeal and having to travel to Mayaguez airport I am now rebooked."

Pros: "I love the small planes and the overall friendliness of the pilot and the other employees - reservationists, ground crew, and others in the terminal. Once I landed in Nantucket, I had a 1 1/2 hour layover to Hyannis. When I went to check in with the reservationist, she asked if I wanted to get to Hyannis faster or if I had business on the island. I said I would like to get to Hyannis as quickly as I could, so she put me on the next flight which left within 15 minutes. After a long flight from LA to Boston, then to Nantucket, and then to Hyannis, it was nice to get home earlier than expected. I live on the Cape, and I love that I can fly into Hyannis. Then I only have a 25 minute ride home."

My alternative was to drive there and stay the night in a hotel, which was expensive and frustrating. I will be calling for a refund."

Cons: "The lady behind me kept showing my seat around and pulling on my hair. Apparently she didn't have enough room or something because it lasted the whole 45 minutes. We hit some turbulence which was pretty rough but not terrible. would have been nice to have arm rests. Also boarding and take off was late and which made me late to my appointments."

Cons: "Booked a 8:30 AM flight VQS->SJU. At 10AM the night before received an email stating the flight "may have been cancelled." Called cape air, they confirmed cancellation but couldn't rebook me on another flight; went on their website and paid for another flight (10:04). The next morning for way of explanation told that "the plane broke." Got to the airport, initially the replacement flight was delayed till 10:30, then at 11:00 we were told that flight was also cancelled. Since we did not have a connecting flight we were placed at the end of the line. They did get us out later in the day, although i suppose because we were just squeezed in I was sitting in the back where I had to sit cross-legged as i only had about 4 inches of legroom. So 2 cancellations and poor communications on a round trip ticket = mediocre review. If I don't get my money back on the first flight I'll revise this to 1/5."

One week before our departure Cape Air cancels the tickets. No explanation, no rebooking, just a "I'm sorry, too bad, go find something else," we ended up paying full fares through United for another $1000. So much for our affordable weekend getaway. Thanks Cape Air."
Pros: "It was my first solo flight, as well as first flight in a small plane. Quick, easy check in and boarding in Mayaguez, PR. In San Juan, exiting and meeting family was not easy, due to terminal design. Overall, great experience."

When I first checked in I was told there was a slight delay due to 'wildlife management' then we got word that it is cancelled because of ice in Boston- it was 46 degrees. There was no compensation because the cancellation was due to weather. However, we were later informed that it was due more to lack of equipment. I have lost my faith in cape air"

Cons: "*UNSAFE -- you better hope your pilot doesn't have a heart attack or seizure or even arm cramp mid-air as the shaky, ratchety little 8-seater doesn't have a second pilot. Airline unconcerned w/liability. *Pilot (Captain Darryl) was a jerk, which the ground crew warned us about - unlike Air Sunshine and Seaborne (which we flew to other islands during the same trip), he didn't allow you to take pictures w/your phone in airplane mode. *Price was much costlier than Seaborne and Air Sunshine flights; when I learned of competitors and tried to switch, no cancellation (even within a day of booking). *Customer service almost impossible to reach; long hold times, limited hours. *They commit consumer fraud by charging for carry-on luggage in addition to checked baggage without ever disclosing that prior to the flight (and the normal airline baggage policy doesn't apply). *With much better and cheaper options, NEVER fly this airline for your own safety, cost consciousness, and well-being."
