Flight from Dallas to New York LaGuardia Airport

Flights from North America to the United States: the best tips from KAYAK users

Insights shared by verified travelers who flew the route from North America to the United States
ChristineFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jul 2026
I am able to drop my bags off up to 4 hours prior to flight. This is a nice feature when I have an appointment that could run over a bit and timing could become an issue. I like to drop my bags off, then go to my appointments and not worry about getting to the airport within that perfect hour mark. The airport security line isn’t a time consuming process, so this alleviates worrying about getting to the airport to drop off rental and drop bags off prior to the hour mark. It gives a bit of flexibility and makes for a stress free travel day.
MarcFlew with American Airlines-Jun 2026
In the Charlotte airport, eat at the Midwood Smokehouse: great pulled pork say, and try Old Mecklenberg beer, a local german style brewery. They make Altbier and Kölsch! The. AA terminal at La Guardia airport is bramd new, with great food and shopping. Free bus between airport and Jackson Heights subway station. Subway is much faster than. a cab to. Manhattan. Only problem is finding. the elevators at a station or on tne subway platform!
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
Even though Tulsa is usually not busy, it is better to pre-check in online to get your travel and award numbers into the system. You can always go to the counter agent. I like to print the ticket because when going out of country or when luggage is delayed, you can hand the information over to the customs or baggage service agent.
VishanFlew with Porter Airlines-Jun 2026
If you’re flying through New York, LaGuardia Airport is night and day compared to many older airports. It’s clean, spacious, and has plenty of food and beverage options. I also found both drop-off and pick-up to be very easy and efficient, making the overall travel experience much smoother.
KathrynFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
If you have a larger group that needs to stay together the concord coach line is more reliable, clean and cheap down to Portland or Boston for a busier airport. I’ll be avoiding small regional airports until my kids are old enough we can split the family for rebookings
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-Aug 2026
I really enjoyed the Air Canada flight. Boarding was smooth, comfortable and spacious. Plane was on schedule. Tips I recommended bringing a water bottle and ear phones so you can watch a movie. Also activate your AC Aéroplan before checking in online for free wifi.
AndrewFlew with Southwest-Aug 2026
Rochester airport is a gem. Excellent for a place to work and plug in away from crowds. So if you need to get some work done before flying, you will be able to do it at Rochester's airport.
ShashankFlew with Delta-Jun 2026
Fairbanks airport is rather small with one terminal so it is very easy to navigate the gates and tsa. We were able to get from ticketing to tsa to gate in less than 30 minutes
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Aug 2026
Be prepared to wait if there's any weather going on at either airport. Bring a book and snacks! You'll need them! Also, airport charges like $10-13 for a pb&j!!! Bring your food.
AlvinFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
American Airlines was pretty convenient and efficient. My recommendation would be to get a good amount of time to get situated at your terminal in case of any last-minute issues.
MorganFlew with Delta-Jun 2026
Delta Airlines is the best airline for flying between Washington DC and Atlanta. There are plenty flights back and forth. Plan ahead to have time for unforeseen security delays.
DeidreFlew with Frontier-Jul 2026
I found Trenton airport is a dream and very easy to get to . Parking for long term is very reasonable. I enjoy traveling with Frontier very accommodating airlines.
WeiFlew with American Airlines-Jul 2026
consider UA as first option because they have more flights in that area, so in case one flight delay, you can change to another flight easily.
Verified travelerFlew with Breeze Airways-Aug 2026
Nice that there was at least one restaurant near end of concourse and close to gate of connecting flight. Also rest rooms located there.
MaxeyFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
AUS is small enough to be handled easily. If your schedule works, it's better to start and end there than DFW or IAH.
Verified travelerFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
Pack healthy snacks. When a 2 hour flight turns into over 7 hours, mini servings of pretzels or cookies doesn’t cut it.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jul 2026
Develop a list of essentials, prepare for 3 or 4 interchangeable outfits, 2 pairs of shoes and try not to overpack!
PatriciaFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2026
Newark airport is very efficient at giving information re where gates are and distance to walk. Beautiful restaurants and great food.
RobertFlew with American Airlines-Jul 2026
Get there early so you can enjoy some of at the great restaurants at the airport before you board.

Once you’re past security, you have to take the tram to your gate area. It’s quick and easy.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Aug 2026
If you have any trouble walking, ask for a wheelchair. They are very nice and FAST.

Super easy to park in the Economy Lot #1 and take the shuttle to the terminal.

When you are booking with Delta make sure you look at the features of each aircraft. Most Delta mainline planes have seatback screens and free WiFi, but they do have a couple aircraft you want to avoid if you would like these things. The smaller regional aircraft EMB-170/175 the CRJ 200, CRJ700, and CRJ900 do not have screens and sometimes they are not internet equipped. The only Delta mainline aircraft that doesn’t have seatback screens is the Boeing 717-200, but they usually have internet unless it’s not working. They also don’t have consistency in their first/business class product. It varies greatly, even among some of the same aircraft types so make sure you do your research before committing.’ To specific flights.
SharonFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
The flight from the Hu to Los Angeles is about 5 1/2 hours. We use the fly a red eye. This typically works for us. I also see people with young children. Also do the red eye. Period however, if you are traveling with children get them really tired before they fly out so they will actually sleep. Make sure you upload movies on your phone cause sometimes the Wi-Fi is not working and that’s a long flight but nothing to do. Bring your favorite book. Do some off-line work
BelindaFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jul 2026
I prefer Oakland over SFO. I liked the self-check for my suitcase for the bag drop . Getting through security went smoothly. It would have been really nice to know my boarding time was 1/2 hour later than on my app. I only found out that boarding was 1/2 hour late after rushing to the gate. I would have had time to go to my airport club had I known. Bag pick up at JFK was fast once I got to baggage claim, that was great
Verified travelerFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
Check a map and take the train between gates. Signage is terrible. Detroit has allowed restaurants and boarding to spill out into the concourse, so can be a recurring narrow struggle through crowds walking between gates. If you see food you want, get it. Not as many food options, and not many healthy food options, as it would appear along concourse A.
ChristinaFlew with Allegiant Air-Jun 2026
The “Allegiant air only” airports are bare bones. They are packed. There’s no lounge. You want all that stuff you better fly a major carrier and accept at least one connection and pick a different Florida airport. But you don’t have to arrive a million hours before your flight so it’s almost like your house is the lounge.
Verified travelerFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
Find the speakeasy in Denver International concourse A and put your name on their waitlist. If you are going to any of the lounges, reserve ahead or immediately get on their waitlist. I was 50th on the wait list by the time I went from rebooking to trying to go into the Capital One Lounge.
LisaFlew with Allegiant Air-Jul 2026
Pack plenty of snacks, fill your water bottles pre-flight, bring in flight entertainment (book or download a game you can play on your phone) and order the aisle seat for additional leg room for comfort. There is no complimentary snack or beverage options, no in flight entertainment options, and the seats do not recline.
LorynFlew with American Airlines-Jul 2026
Give yourself time if there are any issues that arise. Los Angeles also has an extremely large airport. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The staff working there are not the best at helping navigate through Los Angeles Airport so make sure you have enough time to arrive especially if you have a connecting flight.
NFlew with United Airlines-Jul 2026
You need to check your own bags in, meaning you wait I line to print the ticket, put the tab on yourself and then go to another line to make sure the suitcase gets placed on the plane and under the 50lb weight limit. A lot of back and forth.
Verified travelerFlew with Delta-Jun 2026
Take photos of luggage (if you care about it) prior to boarding. Also, report issues at destination airport and not after leaving. Unfortunately i let my fiance handle gathering our luggage and didnt take note of the damage until we were back at home the morning following our return.
SarahFlew with Delta-Jun 2026
Delta had a very organized boarding process which I appreciated. The construction on the way to JFK meant my Uber had to detour through some residential areas which was annoying. I would have used the subway and AirTrain if I hadn't been traveling with my cat.
MariaFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jul 2026
I dont think any of local airlines now offering food for flying under 4 hours, so if you fly with kids or during your lunch/dinner time. Pack your own food or you will only get tiny bag of pretzels or peas during your trip.
Verified travelerFlew with WestJet-Jun 2026
I think it is important to compare the baggage fees and the rules between paying online and at the airport. It is important to ask if there are different fees for luggage fees weighing less than 50 lbs other than 50 lbs.
CourtneyFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
Delta, Delta, Delta. JFK has first priority to NYC's airspace, so if weather is dicey, go out of there versus LGA. Due to limited airspace, LGA is more likely to cancel flights which is outside of Delta or other airlines' control.
DavidFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2026
Arrive early. If you’re over 60 or disabled get LAXtransportation assistance. With assistance the trip between domestic and international is 20 minutes, without assistance or can be over 40 minutes. With a tight connection that can be an issue.
MaryFlew with Delta-Aug 2026
Nashville signage directions could be more clear: Do you need a flight ticket > go here. Do you need to check in luggage > go here. Have you already checked-in >go here to security/TSA.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jun 2026
Check your flight the night before! My flight was canceled and rebooked but it is a common thing to have flights cancelled. The airport is small so going through TSA is fairly quick.
JulianFlew with Delta-Jun 2026
Be prepared for new screening processes including dog sniffing. You're asked to walk in group of 2 for about a 15 foot stretch while a sniffing dog follows just behind.
WaymonFlew with United Airlines-Jul 2026
Always select seats in 'A' aisle and remember overhead storage is extremely small which required gate checking bags if your carry on is med to large. (Ref to United Airlines.)
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jun 2026
Expect to leave for JFK 3 hrs prior to flight if traveling by car from Upper West Side. You will want to arrive 1.5 H prior to departure
JeanieFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jun 2026
Bring your own food and entertainment. The buy-on-board program may require advance ordering, and it can be expensive. Also, the on-board wifi may not work.
AnujFlew with Delta-Aug 2026
If you want to watch something streaming then better download it in Netflix or Prime. Don't rely on watching it in the flight like you normally do
AngieFlew with Southwest-Jun 2026
Pay a little more and go with American or United. Also, fly earlier in the day. It seems that night flights have the crankiest crews on Southwest.
PatriciaFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jun 2026
Seattle is a huge complicated airport. Allow time to change gates if your passing through. And to get thru TSA and to your gate can take time
LaToyaFlew with Delta-Aug 2026
1. Pay attention to the gates and the announcements 2. Pay attention to the lines for the plane zones to board 3. Have your travel docs ready
Verified travelerFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
Don’t book a tight connection. Gates can change without warning and may even change concourse. Concourse A is a long way from Concourses B and C.
JosephFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
Pay attention and look out for last minute gate and terminal changes. I got stung by that, today’s flight changed gates and terminals four times.
BillFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2026
Usually, bags come out at LAX on baggage carousel #1 but it has happened several times they switch at the last minute to another.
MercyFlew with American Airlines-Jun 2026
People flying from Dallas to Champaign should always prepare their mindset to expect flights delays and adjustments due to weather or other technical emergencies.
NatashaFlew with JetBlue-Jul 2026
Don't lol Unless you are going to the basketball hall of fame, fly into Boston or NY then take a train to CT.
ErnestFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
If you are in zone 5 or higher be prepared because you may be asked to gate check your carry-on roller-bag.
JoanneFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2026
The runway to gate took a bit of time. So if you have a short layover pay for a seat up front .
RasheshFlew with JetBlue-Jul 2026
Hafw the outlets at Ft Lauderdale Airport were not working, but the bag drop off and security line went without a hitch
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jul 2026
I wish I'd know where Alaska's ticketing was, since there were only 2 little counters. Also, cincinnati's TSA lines were pretty formidable.
Verified travelerFlew with Frontier-Jul 2026
If you on a budget flight frontier. Don’t bring anything other than a personal bag. Or you will get charged for everything.
FredFlew with United Airlines-Aug 2026
Mid day flight eat before entering the aircraft, always have water and be prepared for weather delays coming out of DEN!
ToddFlew with United Airlines-Jul 2026
Be prepared for turbulence when entering Denver. Also be prepared for a flight delay. The DEN airport has children’s play areas!!

Verified travelerFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2026
Flying on Tuesday/Wednesday was the least crowded
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Aug 2026
Be prepared to have a very difficult time checking in if you are not technology savvy. I could not figure out how to check in. It made me scan with my phone to check in, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it and then an employer was there pushed buttons on the kiosk and printed up a boarding pass. Where did customer service go?! and then, we had to wait in a huge long long long line just to drop off the bag. Be certain you give yourself extra time for all of this chaos. Flying is getting worse and worse every time I fly.
AmyFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
Do not depand on the last flight of the day as there were no options, limited hotels, food and beverage place closed at 10PM. CLT is a nice airport it needs a few considerations for evening flights to plan for the unavaidable. Also, when connecting through CLT, if your flight gets cancelled, it seems that the options to move you to another flight are limited.
mizueFlew with ANA-Jun 2026
Give yourself 4-5 hours of wiggle room because this route is frequently understaffed and the gates are far enough apart to make 1 hour very difficult if any issue should occur such as staffing or weather delays. As soon as a flight boards the airline staff are MiA.
TomFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jun 2026
It’s a mess checking in through TSA. Lots of travelers but only 2 machines open to get through. The same goes for car rentals. Lots of renters but only a few desk workers. Plan to arrive early by about 2.5 to 3 hours early in Lihue
DeidreFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jun 2026
At PDX, the Alaska Airlines section is large and confusing, especially for older people needing assistance. So arrive at the airport quite early. The staff at the airport also need to remember that the newly remodeled space is unfamiliar to many passengers.
Verified travelerFlew with JetBlue-Aug 2026
The seats at JetBlue are old and uncomfortable. Make sure that you check that your assigned seat can recline if you have health issues or spine pain.
NoahFlew with Alaska Airlines-Aug 2026
JFK airport was really hard to navigate, and security line took nearly 45 minutes; we nearly missed our connection to fly from JFK to San Paulo, Brazil.
JenniferFlew with Delta-Jul 2026
Don't expect drinks or snacks on shorter flights bring your own. Expect delays it is very common on delta
MarkFlew with American Airlines-Jun 2026
Get there early, only one TSA line open and thew queue was very long.
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2026
Rebook before boarding or you may get stuck on plane and overnight in airport
NFlew with United Airlines-Jul 2026
Only do carry on the checked bag was stressful and time consuming.
EireneFlew with United Airlines-May 2026
EWR has been renovated and is now much more pleasant and less confusing to get from gate to gate. Our afternoon YYZ-EWR is a shuttle between these cities so reliability is better. Many passengers use this to connect to onward flights to Europe so gates are arranged closer by. It’s a good itinerary to take.
douglasFlew with American Airlines-Apr 2026
Dfw best airport... American is the best airline (most flights because they.are headquarterwd here. DFW also has the most choice in airport lounges. Also curbside check in. They also have a very convenient Tram service (Las Vegas has the best) Portland was very difficult to get to rental cars and baggage easily.
Mary KayFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2026
Alaska is excellent with many options between SoCal and NoCal. Being able to fly into Santa Rosa was a great option to avoid the hectic pace of other airports. Palm Springs and Santa Rosa are great secondary airports to use.
MaryFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2026
Also there is a lot of walking always make sure you have enough time in between flights get situated on your gate and tsa then use the restroom and snacks it helps alot
MaryFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2026
If any one has a hard time walking long distances automatically ask for wheelchair assistance the person helps guide you to your gate and there is a lot of walking
JoleneFlew with American Airlines-May 2026
It’s so convenient. I always check my carry on bag at the boarding desk. Saves me from having to schlep the suitcase through the connecting flight terminal
FredrickFlew with Delta-Apr 2026
Give yourself time. The shuttle from terminal to terminal is quick, but it can be several minutes from gate to shuttle or vice versa.
AmberFlew with United Airlines-May 2026
Fly out first thing, get a long layover, and enjoy the United Club breakfast and privacy while you wait; it's worth the extra money
RobertFlew with Allegiant Air-Apr 2026
Fly from Flint. It is a smaller airport so easy to park, short security lines, short walks to the gate, etc.
DeepaFlew with American Airlines-Apr 2026
The TSA precheck feature is useful, and the security checkpoint to gate walk is around 20 mins, not too bad.
BobbyFlew with Southwest-May 2026

Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-May 2026
Don’t plan on using overhead bin space if you board after group 4 on any American flights using 737’s. They are frequently full by the time the 4th group boards. And, if your carry on bag has to be checked at the gate, be sure it has nothing breakable inside, as it may not survive that process.
MarioFlew with Frontier-May 2026
The airport train can be busy, so plan ahead. Also ATL is perhaps the most crowded airport in the US, so also give yourself extra time for everything. In other words it's always busy and crowded, so expect slow processess and delays and you'll have a good time

pFlew with JetBlue-Apr 2026
Its a short flight and you dont wait very long to get your checked bags but it is a haul to get to ground transpiration from the terminal. Also, Jet blue terminal in Boston is meh...
JenniferFlew with Delta-Apr 2026
Few flights are direct out of Oklahoma City, though its more expensive, it's worth it. Atlanta airport be prepared for security check timelines. Lots of people going through. You will need an hour prior to boarding.
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Apr 2026
To not use hard sided bags. They can Crack when thrown from planes luggage compartment below to baggage carrier truck or vehicle
JenniferFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2026
They are serious about having only 2 items when you walk on board. It doesn't matter how small your purse is.
NicoleFlew with JetBlue-Apr 2026

Aditi SayanFlew with Delta-Apr 2026
Security checkin lines can be longer at certain departure times
OlgaFlew with JetBlue-May 2026
Here’s the part that confused me the most. JetBlue flies only from terminal 5. Delta (at least) arrives in terminal 4. Be aware that there is a lot of walking to get out of terminal 4, then you board the sky train, then you walk more, and finally get to terminal 5. There, surprise! You have to go through security again. At JFK, some security lines are ridiculously long and slow. It’s very annoying that transit passengers must go through that again when moving between terminals. One more thing related to terminal 5 where JetBlue flies - there is absolutely nowhere to sit and almost nothing to eat before going through security. The security lines were better organized though and it didn’t take that long.
Verified travelerFlew with United Airlines-Apr 2026
Chicago airport is super chaotic. We had come in from an overseas flight and were required to get our checked bags at Baggage Claim and recheck them for our next flight, which took a while. Then after going through a LONG customs line (again) and rechecking my bag, I was told to take a shuttle to a different terminal for my final flight. Even though I never left the building and had no access to the outside world, I had to go through security AGAIN (boots off, dump out my water, wait in long lines…) My advice is to be sure you have at least a couple of hours between flights to deal with the insanity.
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-May 2026
If you are transiting through Doha and you have a long layover make sure you book the flight through Qatar airways and not using a code share that's a book through American airlines because they will deny you a STPC which is a stopover paid by carrier aka the free hotel. We ended up sleeping on the floor of the airport which kind of sucked but it wasn't the end of the world. Next time I will not make this mistake and I will never book with American airlines again.
smitaFlew with Air Canada-May 2026
Nashville airport things have changed so much the satellite terminal was so far off and the uber ground transportation was too far once we came out of the airport. I thought this was too chaotic

Seated at front bulkhead for a smidge extra leg room away from home and on flight back home. Away crew was very proactive about assuring our carryons had space close behind us (because no seat in front of us our personal items had to be in a small bin overhead). They actively required passengers place overhead luggage on its side so more items could fit in bins. Home crew made no such efforts. I had to struggle back rows to get overhead bags upon landing, no crew help then either, and some disgruntled passengers as I and others retrieved our bags. There was a system that worked pretty well. The home bound crew just didn't feel like working.

Southwest has inacted unfriendly customer policies like other airlines. Watch the fine print very carefully if you are having to alter flight arrangements. Rules are now complicated and very stilted to travelers sacrificing travel funds (unlike before where the simple, straight forward flight change policy was worth the extra premium for ticket price.) On the positive side, SW Flight crews are still wonderfully helpful.

Flight left on time and was early landing. Seats not comfortable and not enough space…

Flight left on time. Seat spacing is way too small…

It would have been better if the flight was on time

Fairly good - the seats seemed more comfortable on this flight. The staff out of Detroit were quite friendly. But they directed us to the wrong carousel for luggage. :(

Just crazy with times being pushed and pushed and pushed and gate crew at Philly super rude and unprofessional with many under stress with delays.

I liked the new boarding process. I thought the buyup options (legroom, early boarding) to be easy to request and reasonably priced. All the Southwest team from gate to in-flight were so nice.

Flight time kept changing and so did the gate. It was very frustrating

Exceptional. The gate crew responded quickly and got me onto this earlier flight as the final passenger, saving me more than four hours of wait time for my reserved flight.

The flights were on time; all went as expected which is a big positive! No delays! There was no food or drink service in any legs, which I understand due to the short flight time.

They announced a mechanical issue prior to boarding Said it was fixed, we boarded Waited Then learned it was not fixed Had to deplane and go to new gate Bought wifi on plane and it never worked

The plane was a rather tired 737-800, with old style small luggage bins. Poor air flow. USB charger in the infotainment system was not functioning. The flight was 2 hours late due to crew rest requirements (not their fault). On arrival in Seattle, waited on the tarmac for 30 minutes with very few updates from the crew.

Delta off boarded and boarded the aircraft quickly. Clean cabin and great gate and onboard service.

Flight was delayed and we were on the runway after landing for 30 mins

We were delayed so pilots can rest and had no WiFi the whole trip. First class seats are small compared to other planes

The experience was bad. Flight was delayed to handle maintenance (understandable) but still there was some dew forming and dropping as droplets on few seats. Internet at best was allowing some browsing but at a snail pace.

We were delayed 2 hours because of a broken seat. Other than that it was a very nice flight.

There needs to be better accommodations for waiting passengers. A a designated standing space that is separated and away from concourse traffic.

My seats are comfortable because I choose to fly in the exit rows and this time upgraded to first class with minimum sky miles. Otherwise, I would not be happy in regular seats or even middle comfort seats. Onboarding on the return flight from Nashville to Atlanta was hot and very uncomfortable for over 30 minutes due to extreme hot weather. However, Delta should provide some other air flow option as it was almost unbearable until 10 minutes after take-off. First class seats should be equipped with cup holders. Currently, the middle console is used and is flat and prone to spilling drinks.

The flight was excellent. Their was no service as we boarded, the flight attendants spent about 30 minutes just taking and not really caring that the cabin was about 80 degrees and did not offered any beverage to first class passengers or any passenger. The flight from DEN to ONT is not long but not under an hour, we received one drink and bag of chips if you were lucky. I was in first class…. I did leave my hat on the plane and it only took less than five minutes for a United rep to locate and bring it to me.

Bad check in experience. Dirty ancient aircraft. Truly awful food and this in Business/ First class.

I truely appreciate all services. I was highly impressed and will not hesitate to recommend United Airlines to friends and family. The AVML was perfect.

Flight did not have wifi service. It was experiencing technical difficulties. Definitely and old plane that needs updating.

Very Poor. Significant delays getting to Chicago and then very poor communication on delays in Chicago to Cleveland. We could have rented a car and driven there faster than the delays ended up being.

ok, butt flght was delyed for 2,5h from Frankfurt, and next Flight to Columbuse same

The app logs you out right when you are boarding requiring all passwords and reservation number for the flight. Super annoying

The pre-order only approach for fresh food is really challenging

Very kind Lufthansa agent somehow gave us all no charge extra business class seats and helped us get home rested and happy.

The lounge was not accessible because it was located before the passport control, and backtracking was impossible.

More space for economy, and the bathroom size is only for people with size XS

We were delayed in CLT for 4 hours for mechanical issues resulting in us not leaving till 1:30AM and landing at 2:30 AM, so getting home at 4AM. The crew at the desk had no answers and provided very little information. I received a food voucher via email/app however there were no food places open. Even the walk up and scan your own places did not accept the QR code. I know mechanical issues occur but better communication would have made an unfortunate situation less frustrating.

The first leg of my trip from Dallas to CLT was smooth from check-in to landing. The snack, biscott cookie really needs an upgrade. Even if the upgrade is a choice of the cookie or pretzels.

Not good always. Even our trip to japan was disaster with the American airlines delays and cancellatios. Now unfortunately we needed to book again with them last min. Was okay but as usual not comfortable seating.

If the service crew didn't make difference between people and they change my seat without asking me if is okay or not with me

Great for a small Commuter. Quiet and relaxing. Seats were better than most.

The plane was late getting to Ontario by half an hour which makes it inconvenient when you have people waiting for you.

boarding sucked they lost my bag never flying Iberia again

Luggage handling and communication is extremely poor. I landed in india 15th and recived luggage today. Based on my itag the luggage was in Germany. They kept me in dark. Etihad num er in india was non operatuonal. Had to call USA etihad. It should not be so difficullt. I came for 1 week business trip everything was screwed . This is the first and also will be last for me

I wish I could've gotten a refund 😕 I never even got 😪 to go on my trip.

When I was boarding my departure from Raleigh to Orlando I was inappropriately scolded by a female dog named Mia because I didn’t pay in advance for my carry on bag ($75). Frontiers website is confusing regarding pre-paying for carryons so it was a simple mistake. I also had paid for “upfront plus” meaning me and my son were seated in the front row with no one in the middle seat ($450 upgrade). When we were boarding Mia said “sir, you didn’t pay for your carryon” in a not so polite tone and told me to get out of line and come back to the counter to pay for my carryon. The way they had the retractable rope left me no room to circle back without making the people behind me move so I just stood there and then she said a second time “sir!! Go pay for your carryon” in an embarrassing tone. I then moved their rope so I could get back to the counter when a second female dog then asked “are you done!?!?” because I had said “do you want me to bulldoze the people behind me?” I then said you do realize I paid over $400 for upfront plus so I was certainly not trying to sneak a carryon bag without paying. Long story short, I am soooo done with discount airlines!!! By the time you pay for all the “extras” you might as well have paid for Delta Southwest or American! Frontier airlines sucks and I was embarrassed by a female dog named Mia!!!

Frontier is good until they cancel your flight. Way too many cancellations.

I know Frontier is a “no-frills” airline. I understand the concept. However, I jumped on some tickets for our family vacation, expecting to play a bit of a game to figure out the family bags and not over spend. In the end, I got the short end of this deal by far. 1. I did not expect them to charge the baggage fee for each direction. It makes the fee look high-ish at a glance, but reasonable. Then when you get to checkout and realize you have to pay it twice to come home with your luggage, it becomes ridiculous. 2. The low checked bag weight limit. I am used to packing a 50lb bag with my preferred airline. Frontier’s artificially low 40lb limit more quickly triggers the extra weight fee, which almost DOUBLES the price of the bag if you go over ($79 for the bag/$75 for the next 10 lbs) 3. The fee for a carry-on bag is the same as a checked bag but with a lower size and weight limit. Make it make sense! 4. The seats are terrible. My 2.5 hour flight almost had me losing my mind. I’m 6’3” and my femurs barely fit in the space provided. My knees had to wiggle just right to jam into the crack next to the armrest of the seat in front of me. The cushioning was thin and inadequate. I am tall but I’m not a freak. These seats are unacceptable. 5. I overheard the woman next to me speaking with the gate agent about being charged a $25 fee for not checking in online - she checked in at the airport counter when she arrived. That’s ridiculous. She was old and in a wheelchair. She had a paper boarding pass, and was obviously not tech savvy. She should not be punished for that. 6. They do not have good placement in the terminals. It was always out on the end or down on a subfloor, and we had to walk out on the tarmac almost every time. In Denver. Their home airport! 7. Every time I loaded a new page on the website while buying my tickets or my bags, it was constantly trying to upsell me on some esoteric bundle. Like, a pop-up every time. Very annoying. 8. No screens in the boarding area (at least where we were) to confirm you’re in the right place. Just static gate number signs. I am sure these are standard practices for Frontier, and I should have read more about them before I purchased tickets, but as a result of this single round trip, I do not plan to ever use this cut-rate airline again. I would rather pay the normal amount for a ticket and be treated like a customer instead of a mark.

Our flight was delayed 2 hours and when they changed the the time to 1 hour I wasn't alerted and when I checked the gate the plane was still there but they already shut the doors so I had to buy another flight.

Don’t even matter if I write it y'all not going to fix it

Great except upon arrival it took them a long time to open the doors

Frontier feels like a family I Worked for Eastern Airlines back in the day and I felt the family vibe that I had then. Thank you

Terrible. Delayed my family flight for several hours affecting family plans

Tiny seats, no entertainment, no amenities, delays, they charge for carry on and their allowed personal item is smaller than in other airlines.

The seats are tiny and they don’t recline. The planes are dirty and very small. You have to pay for carry on and even the personal item that you’re allowed is smaller than with other airlines. Flights are usually delayed and there’s no screens or any amenities or entertainment.
