Pros: "I needed extra space because of my pregnancy, but didn't realize I couldn't upgrade my seat online or at check in. I was advised to tell the Boarding attendants I needed extra space and they promptly changed my seat and let me preboard. I'm so grateful and I had a wonderful flight back home. I was also very sick, so it was a relief knowing I could rest comfortably before arriving home to my children."

Then we finally got off the pane and ran to our connector which left without us. We were told they don't hold the plane for less than ten people. So the four of us don't matter. Cons: "Surprised by a snarky employee at gate check for my connecting flight home today. I fly with AA nearly every week for work. They grabbed my bag from me and insisted it be checked. I said I didn’t want to pay for checking and that it contained fragile items. It was a little over-stuffed for the scale. When I went to open it and remove some bulky items to put in my purse, they snatched my suitcase away and refused to let me touch my bag. I find this to be completely unacceptable. They had the gall to suggest I go to an airport store, buy a “suitable suitcase,” and take a later flight home. They made a scene and called a supervisor who kindly and promptly let me in my suitcase. The employee then spoke negatively about me loudly to nearby colleagues and refused to make eye contact. After the supervisor let me in my bag, I got on the plane with my suitcase. At one point, this employee made me feel like I was going to be kicked off of my flight; this was so unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. AA - your employees are better than this."

American Airlines apparently does not understand what customer service means."

Last time i had to stop in Vegas I got stuck there overnigh because my flight had been delayed and to mKe things worse they also managed to Miss my flights connection in Miami after they had booked me a new flight.. With a window seat that had no window. I old the flight attendant that I needed help stowing my backpack in the overhead bin, not because it was that heavy or big, but because the previous flight had been 5 hrs long and after being stuck in the middle seat my back was killing me and lifting my bag over my head would have triggered a muscle spasm. I have a back condition and they refused to help me. She would not even hear me out and insisted on me to check my bag, which I refused to because my laptop and tablet were in there without propper padding to protect them. The same flight attendant had already yelled at a passanger and was making a scene that made several other passengers uncomfortable. i understand the flight was full and they were delayed enough, but the airline clients should not have to pay for the airline's mistakes."

I when I checked my luggage, the attendant charged me more ($50) than the self check-in luggage price listed ($45). They moved the gate (from 15 to 14), put us in a different plane with plenty of extra seats and area for baggage (and many people stowed their carry-on for free!) The plane was late leaving because ‘paper work hadn’t been filed’- and the plane was late coming back because there was something wrong with opening the gate. Also the flight attendents share tips?!?! What racket are you putting these poor woman up to?"

Cons: "the seats in the new aircraft have a lot less padding than you may be used to, meaning that the back curvature is less forgiving, but you have more space. My lower back started to spasm b/c the shape was wrong for my back, so I had to use my sweater for padding instead of a pillow as I planned. Not the end of the world - it is an economy airline - but something I wish I had known. Now I do and will bring a 2nd sweater for pillow."
Cons: "Frontier cancelled my flight two hours before I was going to leave for the airport. When I called, the best they could do was offer me a flight leaving the next evening. They told me the flight was cancelled due to "air traffic control reasons." I ended up having to book another flight, leaving at the same time from the same airport on a different airline, at about three times the cost of my original airfare. I will never attempt to fly Frontier again."

At first there wasn't a gate available for us and the pilot had a hard time getting in contact with anyone who could tell him how long it would be or if connecting flights would be held for passengers stuck on the plane. Then even after a gate became available they then couldn't find anyone who was able to hook up the plane to the gate. It was unreal! By far the worst flying experience I've had yet."

They close their gate 40 minutes before the plane leaves; you will be stranded if you are late (My son missed his flight in the past when we arrived 50 minutes before the plane left). They charge for everything; checked bags, carry-ons, even drinks. There is no room to store anything. The seats don't recline. There is no entertainment. The staff is surly. They are supposed to be a low-cost airline, but, after all of the mark-ups, it's about the same. They have the worst on-time performance of any domestic airline. Do not fall for it. If you have ANY alternative choice, take it!!!"

Pros: "On board attendants were pleasant and friendly. The arrival and departure were timely. On this trip my seat mates were thin enough that they fit within their seats as compared to another Frontier flight I took where my seat mates were a husband and wife who I estimate both weighed over 300 pounds. Even though they did not use the arm rest between the two of them, their combined weight/hel bulged over and under the arm rest next to me so I had at most 2/3 of the already small and cramped seat for myself."
Cons: "I think it is basically deceptive to advertise comparatively low prices then charge between $10 to $70 to obtain round trip seat assignments, $60-80 to carry one bag round trip, and $2.99 for a soda. I don't like the fact that even if you have a boarding pass that it is necessary to go through the entire line with folks who may or may not have a boarding pass to check a bag. If I had known this I would have paid the extra amount for a carry on bag. The non reclining skinny seat style and limited knee room/leg room is tolerable for a 2 or 3 hour flight but I can't imagine taking a much longer Frontier flight."

On top of that, Frontier charges extra to pick a seat, check a bag and even to bring a carry-on bag, to mask the true cost of their tickets."
