Cons: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Cons: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

Pros: "Everyone who has a kid knows how challenging certain things can be in a flight and for me the combination of a night flight interrupting my baby’sschedule + a full flight it equalized disaster. My daughter could not get comfortable for the love of life and I just felt horrible and frustrated and what sucked most was the 9 year old and her obese father siting in our row that kept giving us weird looks."
Cons: "There’s NO room in planes between seats. It’s 2018 and new planes must be done ASAP to accommodate people better. I’m 5’1” and 110 lbs but adding my 25lb daughter siting in my lap before she turns 2 is absurd to expect that it will be comfortable whatsoever for us or the people breathing next to us. Please DELTA, lead by example and make sure your planes are designed with more room in between and around the seats. In my opinion, every seat should be first class."

Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!"

I wish folks were not encouraged to go that route but to check baggage. This time of year gets even tougher with folks carrying Christmas presents and over sized personal items. Ugh. Not fun to travel this time of year."

I understand mechanical problems, but 3 hours later, and on another plane, the captain starts making stuff up, saying that the only reason we hadn't moved in the last hour was because people were using the bathroom, then something about having to deplane because the plane couldn't back up with us on it because of some sensor? And then, surprise ! All of the sudden they noticed there was an issue with his and some of the crews' hours and we had to wait till they could locate more crew. But they gave us each a 1/3 glass of water and later a $12 food voucher which didn't even cover a meal and beverage. Whoop-de-do. 7 hours later we finally boarded for the third and last time. The crew on the other hand stayed professional and friendly."

Pros: "Allegiant knows how to get people off and back on the plane ASAP. The last few flights I have taken we left early and arrived earlier than planned because of this. Crew was friendly. I like the fact the flights are direct and no layovers at airports."

Pros: "Our plane was struck by lightning and therefore not able to fly, so we were deboarded and left to wait until a rescue flight could come in from Boston. Over the course of 4 hours, the crew kept us updated with every little change and were all very helpful! Once we were able to board the rescue plane, the crew handed out complimentary candy and drinks to help ease the wait times. Highly recommended!"

Then up to the passengers on board whether or not they want to get out of the plane when it's raining."

We did enjoy buying some tickets from a lady named Valerie in Des Moines who also later had to come on the plane and remove an intoxicated woman. She made everything so easy and simple and enjoyable. And we especially enjoyed the treatment that we received as my husband is a veteran. Thank you so much for that."

Cons: "All of the hidden fees. I was initially charged more than $200 over the price I was quoted on Kayak.com and then had to pay an extra $45 to bring 1 carry-on each. I do not plan to use Kayak.com again for these reasons and will not recommend this site to anyone"

Cons: "I didn't take too kindly to the Service Agents on the ground. The Service Agent in San Antonio wasn't very accommodating or supportive to my needs. I had a problem that needed resolved and instead of diligently helping me, she would turn to another customer, totally ignore my concerns and speak Spanish with this other woman. When I was at the counter first, not the other woman. The Service Agent in Orland on my way back was rude as well. She gave my Mom and I attitude about my luggage being overweight. Told us to pay the $50 or figure it out. We had expressed already paying the $18 to check the luggage to begin with and wanted to see if that amount could be included in the $50. The Service Agent scoffed at us and turned up her nose. Great air service, horrible ground service."

We were supposed to get into Asheville at about 8:00 PM, but finally arrived about 1:00 AM. I fly this route frequently and Allegiant has a terrible problem with on-time flights and communications with passengers waiting for their flights. I am not certain what the problem is, but it is a significant issue with them. Captain was "bubbly" and upbeat without properly managing the passengers' expectations. Bad public relations."

They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Pros: "Had a stroller, two bags, and a car seat and the check in staff helped us tag everything and loaded it for us. It was nice to see the Billings staff go above and beyond in my families time of need."

A big white guy with brown hair was literally tossing chairs and strollers down his ramp. They were bouncing n I seen a wheel fly 20 feet in air, which he broke off of a stroller."
