However, we were later switch to another plane 4 hr later, boarded, de iced, taxied, then notified he flight was cancelled at 1 am because the crew hit their maximum work time. We were de-boarded. There was no organization to get vouchers passed out. The hotel ran out of rooms for passengers. The whole trip was 16 hrs delayed and no customer service provided."

Cons: "I paid for a more comfortable seat around US200 (16L) the day prior the flight, main cabin window seat with more space.They changed planes I guess and row 16 was gone so the assigned me another one on main cabin aswell with more space (15J) but an aisle, which I hate and that was the reason why I paid for a window seat in the first place. No effort to get me a window seat within main cabin when I claimed, nor reasonable explanation on why they did the changed."

I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her."

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

Cons: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Flight was listed as serving only snacks so was surprised to be served an excellent Asian Noodle and Steak Salad and continuous beverage service. Flight attendant responded immediately when I had trouble with my headphone cable and brought me a replacement cable. Entertainment option with wide choice of live television was fine for flight and helped make flight go by fast. This was our first use of first class service, and we would consider it again. I had unsatisfactory experience with United last year and saw great improvement."

By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and wMechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Cons: "I flew round trip to Bangkok from Chicago last year for $460. Why does one way from Fargo N.D. To Green Bay, WI cost $480?! My flight said it was late on the screen (6:40) but actually flew on time. I think a kid missed his flight because of it. My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. It was too stressfu and expensive."
