Itinerary implies West Jet controls the entire thing. Not the case. Better job economic explaining what to With luggage and that, while itinerant implies 1 airline, they are only partners and should be treated separately."

We paid for own our room and returned at 11am as instructed, but the plane needed a part that had to be shipped from the U.S. which pushed our scheduled departure from 2pm to at least 9pm. My family grabbed a bus to Narita for a 6:30pm flight. C'MON AMERICAN AIRLINES! COULD YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GET ANOTHER PLANE TO HANEDA?? OR AT LEAST PAY FOR OUR HOTEL?? The ground crew at Haneda was very kind but overwhelmed. Terrible experience. And it's the reason I don't fly American. In fact, KAYAK, I booked our flights on JAL intentionally to avoid American. The fact that these were partner flights on American completely and unpleasantly surprised me...also not a good experience."

The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

Cons: "Allegiant 468 7/27 4 1/2 hour delay on flight 569 on 7/27 and not a single person on the ground or plane even said sorry. Allegiant also failed to update the revised departure time. Allegiant posted an initial delay of 30 minunutes but then, when there was a further 2 hour delay due to a problem with the plane in Vegas Allegiant didn't update the time. (G4 568 was showing a two hour delay, with a 1010 arrival into STS but Allegiant never updated the departure time for 569 to reflect the additional two hour delay.) It wasn't until I called that it got updated and when I called I had to point out that the airplane hadn't even left Vegas and Allegiant was still showing an 8:50 departure time. It also took the reservation agent over 20 minutes to get any information about what was going on. Lastly each and every time I call I was on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes before being able to speak to a person"

Cheaper or soft-sided luggage would have experienced damage to the contents. Unfortunately, I did not check the luggage before leaving the airport to file a complaint."

Cons: "I didn't go on my trip. My course in SF was cancelled and United would n't refund my money or change the dates for my trips because of there basic economy package. They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

I made my connecting flight just in time. Many other passengers missed their connecting flights. In this situation, it would have been appreciated if there were staff to direct us to help speed up the process, but most passengers with connecting flights were running around like headless chickens and loosing patience as we were left to fend for ourselves. Once again, United managed to drop the ball."

Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I run 30 gates and the door just closed. I am 25 weeks preg so my running time is slower then normal. Then they rebooked me on a flight that had an additional connect and arrived 4 hours later then expected. By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and wMechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Pros: "The flight was on time. And it landed on time!"
Cons: "I received a " see agent" instead of a seat. When I asked about it at the gate, the woman said , I'll call you up" .?? Well no one called me up and when there were less than 10 people to board, I went up again. This time the gentleman handed me my new boarding pass. This was not cool!!!"

Pros: "They worked diligently in getting all of the people to their connecting flights. And this multiple groups going all over Europe"
Cons: "The repeating loop of the entertainment console was a little annoying. If no one is sitting in front of the device it would be nice if it just turned off"

Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Pros: "The staff and crew were great."
Cons: "I flew round trip to Bangkok from Chicago last year for $460. Why does one way from Fargo N.D. To Green Bay, WI cost $480?! My flight said it was late on the screen (6:40) but actually flew on time. I think a kid missed his flight because of it. My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. It was too stressfu and expensive."

Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Easy connection and on time"

Cons: "My fiancé and I packed a suitcase together and it was 3lbs over the 50lb limit. They refused to let it slide and when we asked how much it would be if we left it they said it would cost us $100 for an oversized bag. We already paid the $25 so it makes no sense for it to cost $100 more. They were completely unreasonable and not helpful. Not to mention the flight was an hour late. Our flight on the way out was completely cancelled all together and no one bothered to tell either of us. Then they rerouted us on completely different flights! We had to basically throw a fit to get on the same flight, which ended up being 8 hours AFTER our original flight was supposed to leave. The entire experience was a disaster and I will never fly united again."

Pros: "As a military member, this airline offered me TSA checked, and I was able to go thru the line with my shoes on (small victories on such a trivial delight) the crew made it their best during the flight and kept a positive attitude."
Cons: "This airline is same as others, squeezing your $$$$ for every level of comfort. I can't believe the seats are so closed together i felt I was on an airborne mission. Unable to rest or lean back not even an inch! I wonder what's on their minds when they make these money decisions, hey!! you are sitting a human being not a mat on your truck . You have to pay for entertainment even on a 5 hour flight. Thank God the crew and Captain were amazingly good and decent."

Pros: "Warm friendly competent staff."

Cons: "Legroom"

Pros: "Very nice crew."
Cons: "Olane was way too small. Plane was hot. Plane was noisy. Would bever take that flight again."

Pros: "Comfort"
Cons: "No fresh food No cookies The flight attendant didn't even offer us to buy snacks when he told us no fresh food. He just kept going down the I'll. Rude service. If I had know there was no fresh food I would have bought something in the airport. Our flight into Cabo had fresh food but by the time they got to us they sold out. Airlines are squeezing us more and more. Making us pay more and more but then not offering services they say they offer."

Pros: "Flight was punctual. Boarding was smooth. Crew was courteous. Flight was smooth and on time arrival."
Cons: "Very limited cabin space."

Pros: "Total waste of my money paying for business class with such an old plane. Uncomfortable seats, bad bad service, and no pillows or eye masks."

Cons: "Lines, delays, at least the agent I called while in line was helpful."

Pros: "The flight attendants were nice. There was a doctor on board who was helpful in helping a distressed/ill passenger who was assisted off the aircraft for medical help The pilot did end up flying faster than usual to try to make up time for our delays, in order for most of us to made our connections in San Fransisco. That was appreciated."
Cons: "Flight was late due to Seattle's first snow of the season. The plane needed de-icing. Then as we pulled away from the gate, there was a medical emergency aboard and we had to taxi back to the gate for the ill passenger. After this was over, the plane needed deicing again, so that was yet another wait. Overall, we were sitting on the plane for an hour without being allowed to use the restroom because the pilot kept the seatbelt light on and we weren't allowed to get up."

Cons: "Absolutely no legroom on aisle seat. Very uncomfortable"

Pros: "I think these older flight attendants should retire if they don't like their jobs anymore. They were completely rude to many guest."

Pros: "The ticket agent saw that I had spent the night in Frankfurt because of my missed connection the previous day, and she gave me a better seat, which I greatly appreciated."

Pros: "The flight attendant worked very hard to keep everyone satisfied as she found seats together for a family of three small children and mother just as the passengers were settling in."

Cons: "I got stuck with a 2 hours delay flying into Dallas and then another 2 hours delay flying back to Newark. Worst experience ever with United Airlines. Couldn't even get a complimentary of any sort and missed 2 events which was very disappointing."

Cons: "Male stewardess was very unpleasant/unprofessional No food or snack or water offered to my son or I"

Cons: "delayed 3 hours going there delayed 1 hour 40 minutes on the way back both done the same day. missed appointments the worst experience ever"

Pros: "Flight crew was very friendly and helpful. Very unusual for a US airline. Thank you!"
Cons: "Not enough time between transit. Barely made the connecting flight. Boarding pass did not list which terminal I needed to go so when you hop in the train at O'hare, you are not exactly sure. O'hare is not well-organized. The 1 stop immigration/custom check actually was very slow. The regular check was very chaotic, with officers yelling info everywhere. Felt like I was in the market."
