We are then asked to check our bag, and are forced to put our 1 bag between our legs, whole many people stored two overhead. Flight was delayed a few minutes and time was not made up in air. Delta changed a few of our flights before we were even off the plane, while other passengers were allowed to keep their original flight (originally we all had the same connecting flight). Looks to me like they overbooked and pulled some of us randomly. Also, my checked bag was sent on wrong plane, and sat unattended at next airport for 2 hours."

They delay flights regularly but there’s never any additional information...they just send you a text or email saying your flight is delayed, never tell you why, but they want you at the gate at the regular time...so you sit there for hours with No further communication and the gate agents never come to the gate to let you know what’s going on or what to expect because corporate has gotten stingy with regard to compensating folks even when THEY are to blame for the delay. Two trips in a row, two weeks apart, they’ve done the same thing to us. I appreciate the low fares, but I’ve just about decided I’d rather pay more for good customer service because theirs just sucks."

We were told to wait for another flight-which was scheduled to depart 3 hours EARLIER, but had yet to depart. 3 hours later THAT flight cancelled, and we were rebooked for a flight the following day. So we were out our first night's accommodations as well as transportation to/from the airport that day. The next day we boarded our scheduled flight, sat on the tarmac for awhile, then went back to the gate and de-planed for some unknown reason. We were then re-booked on a different airline. THAT flight was then delayed, which would have caused us to miss our connection to EDI. The ticket agent worked for an hour to find us a flight to EDI that wasn't going through Newark (delays from hell) or Chicago (weather from hell). She finally put us on a flight with an all-too-brief layover in Amsterdam after a connection in Detriot. At this point we have boarding passes coming out our arses, It's 5pm and I haven't eaten since 9am, and we're STILL not out of our departure city. Our projected arrival time was going to cost us ANOTHER night's accommodation, as well as cause us to miss previously paid for engagements. 2 more delays allowed us to finally land in our destination about 40 hours after our original itinerary, with no apology or effort to amend the situation in any way."
Pros: "The crew were. Friendly, polite and tried to do there best in accommodating the customer. Hats off to the crew."
Cons: "The seats, hard as rocks, limited comfort, leg room, width everything, entertainment was down more then running, basically the cabin was dirty and as uncomfortable as I've ever seen or been in. I was more confortable sitting on bleachers with no padding than in one of this flights seats."
Cons: "Each direction I got delayed"
Pros: "The crew from gate to landing was very helpful and met all my required needs. I didn't have to worry if my questions would be answered or if there was space for my luggage as they attended to all the things I could have wondered about."
Cons: "Newer planes are more compact than I would like, and the aisles are very narrow. When the carts move up and down the aisles, they have a tendency to bump people even if the flight attendants are being extremely careful."
Pros: "So I made and didn't get assaulted. So I guess it went well."

Cons: "I'm not a pilot but I've flown enough to know what turbulence is. I was one of the first to board and asked the flight attendant if there was food for purchase or any type of snack as my blood sugar was so low. I was also in pain and needed to take my medication. It was a 40+ minute flight however when one is handicapped you are at the mercy of the person taking you to the gate it's not like you can stop and look for a place to eat. It wasn't until we were almost at the destination we received a plastic cup and offered a sip of water. I sat right in front of the flight attendant and she could see my discomfort yet didn't offer a bag of peanuts or a drink"

Cons: "Delayed flight which didn't bother me as was due to maintenance. Couldn't hear the gate agent over the microphone. Updates of delay could have been more that just the initial announcement. Snack bag had 8pieces in it."

Cons: "Private screening does not work well. Very little kneeroom. No room in seat back pockets to put anything."
Pros: "The gate attendant was fantastic , very professional and kept us informed through two gate changes"

Pros: "Some of the people I dealt with were nice. All of the flight attendants and pilots were nice."
Cons: "United only had one person working to check people in, and due to a lady with 8+ bags that the only agent had to take 20+ minutes with (while the line stacked up behind us), we ended up missing the first leg of our flight. Told us our bags would be checked all the way through, and they weren't. Checked bag got lost on the way back (again, due to misinformation from United on whether our bag would be checked all the way through), and when we got them back they had obviously been rooted through, with no note left by TSA. I fly often, and this was one of the worst flying experiences of my life."

Pros: "Quick boarding & on time. 70mph tail winds pushing us from Chicago to Dayton in 40 minutes! What's not to like. A 10:20 am flight 60% full."

Pros: "We ended up with the exit row seats - awesome, especially for my 6'6" husband."
Cons: "We each had one bag- a backpack for him and an incredibly small roll bag for me. We were told we absolutely had to check the roll bag as space was limited. There were 3 off duty flight attendants sitting next to me and each had 2 large bags. Multiple other people had multiple oversized bags they were allowed to carry on. This infuriates me. I brought one bag, and a smaller than regulation one at that and I had to check it because other people were allowed to bring multiple bags. If you know a flight will be a tight squeeZe, limit people to one bag each."

Cons: "During my round trip my flight was delayed 4 times and canceled twice. On the first cancellation I had to get a hotel room because the next flight wasn't for 24 hours. Then, that flight was canceled but the booked me on another airlines. At first they were going to make me wait another 24 hours until I had told her that I had already did that once. The desk clerks were rude on every encounter."

Cons: "Major delays at Chicago O Hare, little to no communication. Passengers were not told what was going on, or the reasoning for our plane being so late. 3 hour delay boarding, and also sat on runway for another 1.5 hours before takeoff. Once landed in Dayton, could not pull up to a gate for another 45 minutes. So much wasted time. I purposely picked an early flight so I could have more time with my family. Had to cancel my family dinner plans that night due to an extra 5 hours wasted."
Cons: "I didn't like the boarding procedures by groups. I also was forced to check my carry-on, even though after boarding there was plenty of room in overhead storage. Because I was in group 5, they assumed it would be full. They didn't check or allow me to check."
Cons: "They delayed the flight because they had no flight attendant. They delayed it every 15 minutes from 450 to 715 and then just stopped updating us at all. We all waited with no food or drink or any news. At 815 they cancelled it and sent the whole plane to customer service to wait in line. Most of us had to stay in Wash and leave the next day. They offered us nothing except to rebook the flight. The boarding crew was laughing and joking the whole time with zero regard for our discomfort or ruining connecting flights! Never again."

Been 9h hours in the airport with a 5 month pregnant wife was not fun (mainly for her). Totally disappointed with United. That never happened to me in life before. And I fly at least 2 X month..."
