Pros: "Air New Zealand is a great airline. They give you a lot of food and the seats seem to have a little more space between them so your knees don't hit the back of the chair!"

Cons: "Not clear that I wouldn't be able to check a bag for my return flight. I flew to New Zealand with a large bag and then when I went to check in for my return flight they told me I couldn't check it to bring it back and my only option was to cargo it, which was not helpful being that the cargo was out of the airport and I needed to catch my flight. I was luckily able to check it on a separate flight my boyfriend was going on. But I would have either have had to leave my bag or miss my flight if he hadn't been there. It should have been more apparent that I wouldn't have been able to check it on the way back. It makes no sense to be able to bring a bag to New Zealand and not bring it back. That was very frustrating and overall I was very disappointed with this experience."

I called customer service and they answered my question quickly. I just wanted to know if I would be charged a fee to change my flight."

The air New Zealand part was all great plane boarding etc, the horrible part is that we bought baggage allowances with virgin and they never transferred the information to air New Zealand. So there I am from the USA in a foreign country boarding a flight being asked to pay 500 nz dollars for a few kilos when I had already paid for it. Having to produce emails and payment information on something I had done months in advance. Overall I won’t recommend virgin next time I’d book directly with air New Zealand"

I wanted more new release movies to choose from . Cabin crew friendly and polite . Love the wine ! Put up with being cramped .. would love more leg room but overall very happy ! The entertainment system, as usual, was excellent, and we had room enough to stretch out during the long flight."

He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Pros: "Standard AA domestic flight. Once we were boarded and underway, things were fine. Crew was friendly, the aircraft was cleaned on the turn from the prior flight, and we didn't sit on the tarmac too long when arriving at DFW. Normal operations for AA domestic."
Cons: "Unfortunately, normal operations for AA domestic means boarding 20-30 minutes late, which delayed the arrival a bit. In general, AA could provide more accurate updates and boarding information for their flights. For example, if the inbound aircraft arrives at the time my flight should be boarding, I want to see an updated departure time, rather than maintaining the "on time" status right up until five minutes before the new boarding time. Generally it takes 25-30 minutes to turn the plane for the next outbound flight."

Cons: "1) American's boarding process seems to be driven by ticket price and nothing else. Every other airline I've been with boards families with small children first. It lets those families and get on board and get setup so that they don't block aisle access for everyone else. American seems to board based on how expensive your ticket was. So, the aisles get blocked and boarding takes forever. 2) The cabin crew gave pretty apathetic service. When our baby threw up on us, they just told us to go clean ourselves up in the bathrooms. They gave us a can of soda water to help clean up, but that was about it. 3) When my wife asked if the bread was dairy free (for our baby with a dairy allergy), the staff's response was to turn to another staff member and ask them, "Do you want to go back and research that?" In the end they just told us they didn't have time to look it up."

They refuse that but one lady at the customer relations apartment did give me a meal voucher which made me feel a little better."

Cons: "I did not like that the ticket I purchased was a British Airways flight, but it was operated by American Airlines. The plane was SO outdated....it didn't even have personal screens. And the movies they played were old. I mean the Devil Wears Prada...COME ON!!!!! Also, the food on the way to London was extremely disappointing. I had chose the pasta with vegetables, and it was macaroni and cheese with broccoli. And not good macaroni, but more like the kind you make for your kids."

Pros: "Customer service was good, I also liked the text updates."
Cons: "I really dislike that the make you check your carry on now. Most airlines let you take your carry on so I’m used to that. It also originally said $25 but at the check in it was $30. Plus I prefer not to check in my bag because it is faster, but since I did I had to stay at the airport an extra hour."

Pros: "Generally efficient, clean"
Cons: "Crew seemed hurried - when asking if people wanted coffee walked by so quickly I did not have a chance to reply"

Pros: "The Lufthansa crew was very friendly on all legs and provided excellent service. The good was actually good."
Cons: "The seat could have been more comfortable for a long trip but still better than your typical American airlines."

Cons: "The flight from Columbus to Chicago was originally suppose to leave at 6pm we had a 3 hour delay and did not leave until 9pm. This delay caused anxiety because there was a connecting flight ahead and we were afraid we would miss it."

Pros: "Less than an hour in the air- commuter shuttle"

Pros: "From Washington to Albania everything was great."
Cons: "The boarding at the first flight from Columbus to Washington was the worst flight I ever had, peoples who worked there were really rude and disrespectful not to only me but to a few passengers especially a lady who worked at the ticket both."

Cons: "Our originally scheduled flight out of CMH was cancelled within minutes of getting through security. We were told to wait for another flight-which was scheduled to depart 3 hours EARLIER, but had yet to depart. 3 hours later THAT flight cancelled, and we were rebooked for a flight the following day. So we were out our first night's accommodations as well as transportation to/from the airport that day. The next day we boarded our scheduled flight, sat on the tarmac for awhile, then went back to the gate and de-planed for some unknown reason. We were then re-booked on a different airline. THAT flight was then delayed, which would have caused us to miss our connection to EDI. The ticket agent worked for an hour to find us a flight to EDI that wasn't going through Newark (delays from hell) or Chicago (weather from hell). She finally put us on a flight with an all-too-brief layover in Amsterdam after a connection in Detriot. At this point we have boarding passes coming out our arses, It's 5pm and I haven't eaten since 9am, and we're STILL not out of our departure city. Our projected arrival time was going to cost us ANOTHER night's accommodation, as well as cause us to miss previously paid for engagements. 2 more delays allowed us to finally land in our destination about 40 hours after our original itinerary, with no apology or effort to amend the situation in any way."

Cons: "It was also cancelled on my return flight with no prior notice ! Never again"

Pros: "So I made and didn't get assaulted. So I guess it went well."

Cons: "The small commuter planes used for the trip are not smooth rides at all. Very uncomfortable"

Cons: "Private screening does not work well. Very little kneeroom. No room in seat back pockets to put anything."

Cons: "Trouble getting a seat assigned via the United app."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled, bad weather was the day before our flight, not the day of our flight (the day of our flight which was sun). We now got rebooked for wed. That's 3 days we didn't plan to be in Columbus oh. That seems excessive."

Pros: "Economy plus seat was nice to have an outlet plug in."

Cons: "Surprised at just water and juice as beverage options."

Cons: "They turned the flight around, getting us home hours later than what was supposed to be"

Pros: "We ended up with the exit row seats - awesome, especially for my 6'6" husband."
Cons: "We each had one bag- a backpack for him and an incredibly small roll bag for me. We were told we absolutely had to check the roll bag as space was limited. There were 3 off duty flight attendants sitting next to me and each had 2 large bags. Multiple other people had multiple oversized bags they were allowed to carry on. This infuriates me. I brought one bag, and a smaller than regulation one at that and I had to check it because other people were allowed to bring multiple bags. If you know a flight will be a tight squeeZe, limit people to one bag each."

Pros: "Crew and they kept you well feed"
Cons: "I just could not get comfortable"

Cons: "During my round trip my flight was delayed 4 times and canceled twice. On the first cancellation I had to get a hotel room because the next flight wasn't for 24 hours. Then, that flight was canceled but the booked me on another airlines. At first they were going to make me wait another 24 hours until I had told her that I had already did that once. The desk clerks were rude on every encounter."

Cons: "Delayed and delayed and at last cancled the flt. It's Uniteds tradition to cancled the late evening flt. Stupid airlines."

Pros: "attendant was very helpful and friendly"
Cons: "flight was late and missed my connection, causing me to wait several houes to nake the connection to SLC"

Cons: "Overlay at the airports were tiring. While going into USA, in chicago I had to stay overnight for the next flight. While coming back, in Japan, I had to stay overnight for the next flight."

Cons: "The seats are ridiculously small and cramped and hard. Didnt realize i was booking a "puddle-jumper" to go cross-country. Also-i wish you'd bring the screens back. Neck was so kinked from being on my own so long."

Cons: "I didn't like the boarding procedures by groups. I also was forced to check my carry-on, even though after boarding there was plenty of room in overhead storage. Because I was in group 5, they assumed it would be full. They didn't check or allow me to check."

Pros: "Crew was very polite."
Cons: "Squashed in like sardines in a can, but that's expected when flying economy. NO DISLIKES."

Cons: "Additional fees for extra space were 1/3 the cost of my flight"

Cons: "Didn't offer vouchers or accomodations Classified delay as weather when we were told in Ohio it was a mechicanical I was extremely distraught began crying horribly became extremely dehydrated & went into urgent care once returning to PHX"

Cons: "It was late boarding and landing. Our bags were sitting in the rain."

Cons: "United has replaced all gate agents with contractors. It is abundantly clear. No stakes in customer service, these folks are just slightly above automated robots following scripts verbatim with poor skills speaking English."

Pros: "The crew was very kind."
Cons: "The temperature control was ridiculous!!! One minute it was 40 degrees and the next it was 90. People were putting on coats and hats, taking them off and putting them back on the entire flight. It was horrible and there was NOTHING relaxing about this flight bc of it. The crew announced the inflight entertainment and gave directions on how to use it. Thirty minutes later, they informed us it wasn't working. So nothing to distract us from the horrible temps!!! Pull this aircraft out of service and fix the temperature!!!"

Cons: "We are two active duty members flying to take our son to our parents for us to get ready to go on deployment. When we arrived there the line was almost an hour and a half just to check bags we almost missed our flight. When we got to the counter ans told him we were both military flying on orders and asked to be tsa checked he had no clue what we were talking about so this kind woman helped him do his job, needless to say he was a manager. Once we got out tickets the seat assignment said see agent so we did. He hands us our tickets and we are a plane length apart. Let me mind you we both just left our child for a 8 month deployment overseas. We asked the guy if it was possible to get seats together wouldnt even acknowledge we were speaking to him. So we tried again he held his hand in my face and told me he serviced me and to please step back. Ive been bawling 2 hours straight from having to leave our son. So we stepped back. Then in the line this couple comes up and they were looking for seats together, i kid you not he gave them seats together! I will NEVER EVER fly united every again. Thank goodness for this kind gentle to switch me seats on the plane because i was crying i had to leave my fiance after i just had to say goodbye to our son for 8 months!! I was so shocked!!! I will tell every single person i know to never use united! You guys should be ashamed of our company! I will inform every active duty member i come across!"

Pros: "Great service on first and third flights, customer service did an excellent job getting me on a new flight itinerary at the last minute when my original was delayed. Overall I only arrived about 3 hours later than I was supposed to."
Cons: "Being delayed in the first place--bummer, but not huge deal. 2nd flight seemed badly organized and not dealt with very well. Multiple people were booked in the same seats, etc. Not impressed."

Cons: "On my flight from Columbus to Houston on Dec 24 flight UA4938. I had a very unpleasant episode with one female attendant which yelled at me and talked in an un appropriate tone when I needed to use the toilet. There are manners and ways to say things and anyone would listened to them. As a customer I deserve respect, as they deserve respect from me. I am a frequent traveler and been flying basically all my life. And never encountered a flight attendant with such a bad attitude. I travel abroad the US several times a year. After this incident I am not sure if I want to fly with United again, if they make poor choices when they select their crew ."

Pros: "The crew was very friendly & helpfull, this was my first time flying so I was greatly appreciative of the friendly staff."
Cons: "The prices on food & snacks are very high espically for someone who does not have a lot of money. DELAYED FLIGHT!"
