Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie."

We are then asked to check our bag, and are forced to put our 1 bag between our legs, whole many people stored two overhead. Flight was delayed a few minutes and time was not made up in air. Delta changed a few of our flights before we were even off the plane, while other passengers were allowed to keep their original flight (originally we all had the same connecting flight). Looks to me like they overbooked and pulled some of us randomly. Also, my checked bag was sent on wrong plane, and sat unattended at next airport for 2 hours."

Then we proceeded to baggage claim and waited a few minutes and one of our 2 bags was there. The crew member then said "that's everything. If you're missing bags come see us." Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to."

The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

After waiting in line for 40 minutes and the line making no movement I called the airline 1-800 hundred number and explain my situation to the American Airlines Airlines representative. they really give me a new flight that left 20 minutes later after my call if I did not call I would not mean it that flight nor any other fights that morning because they're all in the afternoon."

Apparently they gave the seat to someone else at the last second because up to the point when I printed our boarding passes at the kiosk, our seats were still together (and I paid $41/per seat extra to try to keep us together). The other customer was nice enough to switch with our son so were able to stay together at the last min so it goes to show AA priority and service."

We were told to wait for another flight-which was scheduled to depart 3 hours EARLIER, but had yet to depart. 3 hours later THAT flight cancelled, and we were rebooked for a flight the following day. So we were out our first night's accommodations as well as transportation to/from the airport that day. The next day we boarded our scheduled flight, sat on the tarmac for awhile, then went back to the gate and de-planed for some unknown reason. We were then re-booked on a different airline. THAT flight was then delayed, which would have caused us to miss our connection to EDI. The ticket agent worked for an hour to find us a flight to EDI that wasn't going through Newark (delays from hell) or Chicago (weather from hell). She finally put us on a flight with an all-too-brief layover in Amsterdam after a connection in Detriot. At this point we have boarding passes coming out our arses, It's 5pm and I haven't eaten since 9am, and we're STILL not out of our departure city. Our projected arrival time was going to cost us ANOTHER night's accommodation, as well as cause us to miss previously paid for engagements. 2 more delays allowed us to finally land in our destination about 40 hours after our original itinerary, with no apology or effort to amend the situation in any way."

My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. I brought one bag, and a smaller than regulation one at that and I had to check it because other people were allowed to bring multiple bags. If you know a flight will be a tight squeeZe, limit people to one bag each."

Cons: "6 people overbooked, who might not have gotten seats. I was one of them. I recognize there was nothing I could have done either way but it was unpleasant to hear I might not get a seat on a flight I bought a ticket to a month ago, regardless of the price. And the return flight was dismal. Had to wait an extra 3 hours for maintanence on the plane (fine, would rather it get fixed than have an issue in the air) but we were told there would be vouchers worth some amount sent to our email after we landed back in cincinnati. It's been 3 days and I have received no such vouchers. It also turns out I payed $45 for a personal bag that was I guess covered under a personal bag? I recognize this as being partly my fault, but when I went to get my ticket "personal bag" wasn't an option, so I didn't think I had one, or my single backpack actually was $45 to take with me. Was not a terrible experience. Just not a good one."
Pros: "I liked that I could fly to my destination with a non-stop flight. I also liked the (what seemed to be) final prices of the tickets."
Cons: "I did not like that I had to pay for seats when I already bought a ticket for the flight. It was a hidden fee and unfair to charge. The carry-on bags were also a hidden fee. I figured as much that to check a bag would be more expensive, but to have a carry-on cost as much as a checked bag? Not cool."
Pros: "I arrived alive. Flight was not delayed. Water was free."
Cons: "Leg room and seats lack an appropriate amount of cushions and space for long flights. The seat back trays are a joke. My tablet was bigger than the tray. I also dislike the extra charges for EVERYTHING that was not disclosed on the purchase through Kayak like seat selection, carryon bags, early on zones, etc. No snacks were offered on the flight. I understand that this is a discount carrier, but after all was said and done, I could have paid the same for a major airline and had way more room and comfort. No pre-Check. WTH??!!! The airline attendants bumped me going up and down the aisle EVERY single time and never offered an apology for bumping me and I was NOT in their way."
Pros: "Crew was always nice, plane was clean. Appreciated the 50 dollar voucher I was given from my previous delayed frontier flight (LGA to CVG) - it was nice to receive it without having to ask."
Cons: "Seats don't recline, everything is an extra charge (was not notified that selecting a seat or having a carry on was an extra charge when I booked via Kayak, added 100 dollars total to my round trip - misleading), no tvs."
Cons: "My flight from LAX-DEN was delayed. Ended up missing my flight, as well as my flight from DEN-CIN. We as passengers were not told where to go (we waited two hours to hear any kind of news). We were told that the Frontier staff would know what was going on at the DEN airport once we arrived, but they did not. We then waited another hour to be told where to go. I was given a voucher for my hotel, food and transportation. However, my transportation voucher did not work. I waited over an hour for a bus that never came. My transportation in the AM back to the airport was not covered either. I ended up paying money out of pocket both times when it should've been free of charge. The staff on the airplanes were OK, although at times unprofessional."
Cons: "Frontier is now a leader in PRICE FRAUD & Extortion! They believe in Dishonest pricing & Deliberately deceiving their customers. They slapped me with an $80 fee to board my flight! Extortion!! So my $170 airfare suddenly increased in price by 47% !! This is a total scam. Worse than a bait & switch scam (which is illegal). Even the smallest tote bag with a toothbrush & overnight clothes will incur extra big fees for carry-on "luggage"... Where is the FCC & the consumer protection bureau on this?...Fees for basic carry-on items needs to be made ILLEGAL!! I'll never fly again with such a dishonest airline. Sign me up for SouthWest every time...I don't care what the price difference is, I refuse to give my money to mobsters.You blew it Frontier! Never Again."

Cons: "Arrived on time time only to be told to wait in line as others who arrived late and after me were moved to front of check in line. Stuck on tarmac due to rain: 30 minutes so far. Crew on board was fine. True what others say about plane feeling old."
Pros: "Heather was great with all of the young kids on the flight. A nice greeting, and helped put the kids in a good frame of mind for the trip. The crew hustled given that we were only in the air for 80 minutes!"

Cons: "paid the extra $74 (discounted - bundle rate) fee to check bag and carry on and select a seat! crazy... i was wondering why a 4 hr fight from cincinatti to san diego direct could POSSIBLY cost just $90... now i know.. it DIDNT... it cost $164 each way... lol. NOT. also - the crew was just lame. they didnt look at you ever and you had to flag the down after they passed you to hand over trash... basically just spent their time socializing and had an overal BITCHY tone... that you didnt matter to them. will avoid this airline from now on."

Cons: "Everything about frontier. I understand it is a budget airline and I don't expect the basic comforts any other airline would provide. However I do not appreciate the hidden fees they will find a way to slap onto a traveler no matter how much research you do. In reality they are probably one of the more expensive airlines although they have no customer service and you could not possibly imagine a more uncomfortable flight. I also no longer trust them to to get me to a destination on time. I will never fly frontier again and kayak should consider no longer booking flights with this airline. When I tried to complain they referred me to kayak as if it was kayaks fault that my flight was delayed."
Pros: "Arrived at airport at 940 pm which was great because we were early but didn't get off the plane until almost 12am due to an airplane being worked on at our parking gate and also had to wait for local sheriffs office to board the plane to escort a lady off the plane when we finally did park and during that time the flight attendants were yelling at the paying customers because they had their phones out. One flight attendant even smacked a phone out of someone's hands! Will take a miracle to get me and my family to ever fly frontier again. Worse flight experience ever."

Cons: "1.5 hours delayed at CVG, 2 hours waiting on the runway in CVG for a gate at DEN, got to DEN and no gate, waited 1.5 on runway for a gate at DEN, finally deplaned at DEN and waited 5 hours for our luggage. Frontier was understaffed and did not have ppl to run the gates, deplane flyers, and unload baggage. I will never fly frontier again!"
Cons: "Had to pay for drinks and couldn't recline the seat even a little. Also, microscopic tray tables. Having to pay to choose your seat and get a lemonade on a flight is not my idea of comfort or convenience."
Pros: "The crew was exceptional, and the pre-flight instruction "talk" was very humorous, which kept the attention of the passengers. Seats were comfortable enough for our 2 hour flight. Boarding was very quick, and the plane was a nice, new airbus. The flight home was only half full, so we had more room to stretch. Plane was very clean. We got by with one checked suitcase to save on the carry on fee, which I'm hoping they do away with as they grow in competitiveness."
Cons: "We went online to check our bag, just one, and the site "The Perks" automatically added a carry on for both of us on both the return and departure flights. We could not edit online at all, and had no luck reaching them by phone. Sent an immediate e-mail stating we were being charged for something we did not have, and received a reply confirming we picked a "bundle" which we did not! When we arrived back home, I was able to talk directly to a supervisor, and got MOST of the bogus charges dropped. Be wary ! You SAVE by doing it online, but next time I will check baggage by talking to a LIVE person by phone."
Pros: "The smiles on the staff, especially one young man who is an attendant. Told him he had a great smile for so early in the morning. Kudos for his attitude. There was an older gentleman who was an attendant also...this was the younger one. Love, love your destinations and prices."
Cons: "Seats could be more comfortable but I will take the tix price any day over that."

Cons: "We had about a 3 hour delay with no explanation. The tickets told us to be there for boarding at the normal time though, so we were essentially threatened with missing the flight and had to hang out in the airport for several hours. The seats don't lie back at all, and the airline is very basic. Then again, you get what you pay for and we were expecting that."

Cons: "Charging for any kind of snack or drink is pretty frugal and ridiculous. At least having some complimentary drinks would be nice. Most airlines have a movable headrest, complimentary music, and recliner chairs. I understand cost savings and maximizing profit, but I feel like frontier has gone too far and seems unconcerned with customer contentment. Also, we arrived at the gate 40 minutes late because our gate was occupied by another plane. An alternate gate could have been chosen earlier than it was in the end."

I hate frontier. they "get you with the cheap fare" but in reality people should just fly delta. b the time they add up everything, bags there and back, no snack or beverages on the plane, no recline seats, no tv, etc... you are basically paying for a regular flight, that is now just expensive as the original comfortable flight you wanted. horrible experience. one of many with this airline. I keep giving chances and they keep disappointing."

Having to pay for seats and luggage; Seats did not recline; Flight took off 45 minutes late; when we arrived in Denver there was no place to park the plane; waited for an hour and 10 minutes to get off the plane; captain kept on giving us inaccurate information; lots of apologies but it was enough to prevent me from flying with them again. They have gone from a great airline to a horrible airline - you get what you pay for"
Pros: "got there safely and our checked luggage went with us ; plus the employees were nice but that's about it. Could've been worse but won't Frontier to make it so in the future."
Cons: "We were late arriving on both flights, online check in didn't work, had to pay extra for ANY seat and for all other things that aren't normally paid for on other airlines and the airline overall is obviously barely making it. I thought that major carriers such as Delta and United were bad but Frontier and so many others that are cut rate airlines make them look not so bad which is why I'll go back to flying with them and Frontier will probably never see my money again."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled. It was rescheduled to fly out 8 hours later. The lady at the check-in desk was so rude to me and the other customers around me. She talked to me so hateful! That would have been my first time ever flying with Frontier airlines. I will NEVER fly with them because of this experience, and plan to let all of my family and friends know how rude, uncaring and unprofessional this airlines is!!!"

Cons: "4+ hour delay. 2 flights scheduled out of CInci To Denver. We were on the early flight and ended up leavin 30 minutes later than the late flight. Baggage claim was a joke. Took 90 minutes as they had our luggage on the 2 different planes. No one knew where our stuff was it which carousel it would be on. Missed our dinner meeting and ride from the airport. Luckily we weren't trying to make a connection like many people were"

Pros: "For a traveller, without any luggage or even a small carry- on, with a very nominal fee, it is the best & economical way to travel. For example, in my case, my son & myself had to take all his stuff like sofa, bed, dressers, chairs, tables, & kitchen wares other household items in a U-Haul & drove his car ti Cincinnati, Ohio (as he finished his studies in GMC & had to start his residency in children hospital in Cin......After unloading all the stuff in his apartment, I had fly back to Atlanta with only a small backpack, there was no sense to pay about $250.00 with Delta, it was a logical way of coming by Frontier costing less than $50.00. with comfortable seats within an hour."
Pros: "This was my first time on Frontier. Like any other airline the process from getting on the plane to my destination was just like any other. I had low expectations, as I do with nearly every flight I go on and was pleased by the fact that nothing was truly below my expectations."
Cons: "I'm fine with the lack of entertainment on a flight considering most people bring laptops and tablets and other ways to keep themselves occupied. I never pay for in-flight food or beverage because of the prices but was kind of surprised nothing was complimentary. Not shocking by any means considering the price of the ticket. I was under the assumption there two separate fees for baggage, one if you preferred to check a bag and one if you carried on a bag. Had I of known that my carry-on would be checked I would have brought a larger luggage container to get the most for my money. Again, though, hard to beat the price of the actual ticket."
