Picking up the car was fine, the agent very friendly and helpful. Alamo let me leave the keys to the car at the Jet terminal and they picked it up later. Big help to us! The car itself took getting used to. Chevy Equinox. I prepurchased gas at pick up. I wish the car had a feature showing how many miles were left in the tank.

Just a good experience all around. No issues.

Staff friendly. Car was clean.A lot of attempts to upsell (car type, insurance, etc). Agreed to more for a little larger car (had thought I booked larger than compact) for comfort. Car was 2+ years old with very basic features. (No electric seat adjustment, seats rather uncomfortable, windshield wiper broken)

I expected too muchThe car, a Malibu, was great, except for wiper blade. Counter people friendly.1. No free parking for my clunker 2. Bad wiper blade on passenger side. I went back to desk and was offered a different car, which I accepted. That car had the same problem but I just put up with it. 3. I would like to have been able to have the car owners manual so I could learn how the audio system functions

Hard for me to call a Chevy impala a “premium” car. Car had 20k plus miles, it had been ridden hard and put up wet.

Professional - Polite - and FriendlyChecking in was a breeze. It took mere minutes to get our rental and be on our way. Checking in was just as easy. The car was clean inside and out when we picked it up. The rental rate for the weekend was very competitive and economical.Would like to see rentals with optional Sirrus or similar radio available as an option.

They went above and beyond. When there was a question on my rate, theirs differed from what was quoted, they sent me on my way so I could get my vacation started while they took a copy of my quote and worked it out. By the time I got to my destination, I had a voicemail telling me it was all taken care of and she just wanted me to know right away so I wasn't thinking about it all weekend.

Fast, Easy and FriendlyThis is the second time I've used Alamo at GRB and will definitely do so again since I visit a relative in the area regularly. The airport location of the rental lot is a big time-saver and the staff is friendly and efficient. Clean, new car with all the bells and whistles for a very reasonable price.

The service and vehicle were excellent. The process was well managed and the desk clerk was very courteous and competent. My biggest issue is that the prices have gone sky high. Your lots were full of empty cars, and your prices are better than double what they were just a few years ago. Covid is a rotten excuse. Whatever the market will bear I guess.

No one from hertz looked over the rental car With me for condition prior to taking out the car. And though the location was open at 9am for our return there was no one at the location on our arrival until 9:55a. Moreover I was Told that my card was denied when hertz put in the incorrect amount. Had the correct amount been inputted into the system the credit card would have worked fine. First and Last time using Hertz.

Easy drop off and pick up and friendly staff.Staff has been trained to push the upsell - so I was goaded into getting an upgrade for what was billed as a great deal, a fraction of what the car usually goes for, only to find my bill at the end of the trip was $600 instead of the originally booked $300. Not at all happy about being suckered into that.
6.4 GoodDec 9 2019
Staff was friendly, pickup/drop-off were standard, no complaints.Smallest car I've ever rented, the comparable vehicle shown online and what was available in that class were two different things. I own the car that was shown on hertz.com for that class, and the car that I rented was definitely a step down.

Picking up the car was easy, staff person reminded us that hybrid cars do not make engine noise on start up, and the gave us directions out of the airport, very helpful. The small airport meant it was a short walk to the rental parking lot, which is well marked. We were delighted to rent a hybrid car.Would have appreciated a drop off box for keys, as rental contract included unlimited mileage. We waited behind a family choosing car seats for their small children, which took awhile. We were sympathetic and thankfully, not in a hurry. If we were in a rush, waiting behind those picking up a car just to turn in keys would have been nerve-wracking.

Hertz Representative Adam Thomas in Greenbay WI was obnoxious.Gas Mileage on Hudai Elantra was fantasticBecause of a flight delay it was necessary to reschedule the pickup for a day later. I reschedule and was given a new price for the rental and was told I would be given a refund for the shorter rental. When I rented in Greenbay, WI the price was several dollars more than the price I was quoted by phone. The Hertz Representative said the quoted price was wrong and I had to agree to the higher price to rent the car. Since he required a credit card again I asked about the refund and he said that was not Hertz's problem and I should inqjuire about the reffund through Kayak which was both incorrect and unfriendly.

Worst experience everNothing. Worst experience I have ever had with a car rental. Never again will I rent a vehicle here.Hello, I rented a car to take a road trip to North Dakota for my sisters wedding and to take a mini vacation, before heading back Monday night/Tuesday morning of the following week. I received a 2017 Chevy Impala as my first (of a total of 3) vehicles. I arrived in Bowman, ND just fine around 1 am Mountain time on Friday 6/2/17. When I got back in the car, around 10am, that same morning, I noticed the low pressure censor, had come on. I checked the pressure and added the appropriate amount of air (40 PSIs). and continued on with my day. Later that day, the PSI censor came back on and stayed on. I called the road side assistance number was was told there was nothing anyone could do for me because I was greater than 180 miles from the next Enterprise location (Bismarck, ND). I was stuck with a vehicle I couldn't use without wrecking the rim. I was told to try to drive the vehicle to Bismarck and get a new vehicle, cutting my trip 2 days short. I refused to miss my sister wedding because of this, so I didn't drive the car at all, instead I had to borrow someone else's vehicle instead to run around for last minute wedding stuff. Finally, Sunday morning comes along and I drive to vehicle to Bismarck like I was told to do. A drive (From Bowman, ND to Fargo, ND) that should have taken just under 3 hours, took me 5 1/2 hours, because I had to keep stopping to check the tire pressure and add air. In Bismarck, I was given a 2016 Jeep Patriot, which WAS NOT comparable to the Impala I was originally given. I wasn't trying to spend 3x the amount of gas. I still had a 10+ hour drive ahead of me. The Patriot I received was 1,000 miles over on an oil change AND didn't have any window wash liquid for the wipers at all. It was filthy. It looked as if the vehicle was returned and NO ONE looked over it. It was nasty. and terrible on gas!!! I called and talked to Jonathan at the Road Side number (Badge number E341sb). Jonathan was AMAZING, no wonder this man is a team lead. He did EVERYTHING and ANYTHING he could do to help me out. This man deserve so recognition. THANKS AGAIN JONATHAN!!!!!!!! I was advised to stop in Fargo (another 2 1/2 hours) and traded the vehicle in AGAIN!! I got a 2017 Cadillac XTS, which I loved this vehicle and returned back to green bay with it. I had to cut my trip short (2 days) and miss out on seeing things that I had planned to see while I was on my trip, miss out on wedding things (because of the endless phone calls I had to make to Enterprise). This isn't the first time that I have had a vehicle thru enterprise and the first time, there were issues as well. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM YOU AGAIN!! I am very unhappy with the way the situation was handled. If it weren't for Jonathan, I may still be stuck in Bowman. Worst experience ever!!!!

The way the Employees in Green Bay Straubel Airport treated me was okay. Usually don't write letters but my experience with the Green Bay facility was very poor. information was left out until after the card was swiped, along with a phone call to the Green Bay East facility. Tried calling about a car and all the gentlemen there wanted to do was argue about a whether I have a credit card or not. Didn't appreciate having to deal with that while I had everything else going on.

Person working called to confirm my reservation but then wanted me to come in later because they close during the lunch hour but my reservation was prior to closing time. She then told me I had to buy the gas option and if I returned it full I’d be refunded the money- when I had to extend it I wouldn’t get refunded even if I returned the car on full… which is funny because as I was signing it said I accepted that gas option but wasn’t even an option to decline per the girl working. The car did the job but I think the staff wasn’t very pleasant to work with.

Seemed inattentive.Drove 9 miles total and they said I used over a gallon of gas. I didn’t even think I drove that far. The gauge never moved from full. They charged me $20 more for it. I dropped it off at the airport for a flight so I can’t go back and dispute this in person. It’s just appalling.

Finding the car and the car itself were perfect for our trip. When we were checking in the line was extremely long and there was only one person working. She did her best to move quickly but it still put a delay in our travels.

Honestly.... nothing!! I’ll never rent from Avis again. To much to list!!! But I guess the most frustrating thing was the fact I was downgraded to a vehicle because the original vehicle had a cracked windshield and I wasn’t compensated, I should have been UPGRADED! Or offered a major discount, after driving 10 hours in a lesser vehicle that was extremely less comfortable, I was furious.

Rental car prices as pick-up date approaches
  • Car rentals in Green Bay will allow you greater access to scenic areas in the city than if you relied solely on public transit. The public transit also becomes more limited as you travel further from the shoreline of Green Bay, which could be inconvenient should your hotel be located in the southern part of the city.
  • Green Bay and its surrounding suburbs are serviced by the Green Bay-Austin Straubel International Airport in the southwest end of town. You can access car rentals in Green Bay in the main terminal; the rental counters are next to the baggage claim. The pickup lot is directly outside the terminal within walking distance.
  • If you happen to be in town during a weekend that the Green Bay Packers have a home game, expect to sit in heavy traffic throughout the city, especially as you get closer to Lambeau Field. On game day, Packers fans make the pilgrimage to Lambeau field by car, bus, and on foot, which often involves jaywalking and bumper-to-bumper traffic. Lambeau Field is located to the southwest of downtown. There are sixteen parking lots surrounding the blocks around the stadium that are filled with tailgating Packers fans on game day. If you are hoping to navigate this area, give yourself ample time and try to finish your drive before 9am on a typical game day.
  • You can expect daily snowfall from November through April, and the lake effect snow from nearby Lake Michigan makes for dangerous driving conditions. If you are not familiar with driving in snow, give yourself extra travel time and keep your speed down. Stay on plowed roads and avoid smaller side streets where you might get stuck in deeper snow.
