Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

More importantly, the fact that I checked-in with seat 14 and ended-up, seemingly randomly, in seat 28 (the back of the plane) when I had SPECIFICALLY selected a seat in the FRONT section of the plane. That was particularly annoying, especially since the optics of the situation were such that I used miles to purchase the flight and got "screwed-over" with respect to my seat selection as if my ticket held less weight than other passengers..."

Security and Customs should be combined to expedite the process for passengers and crew members. I'm not suggesting not going through security, buy why couldn't we do it at the same place as customs? Too often Delta flights are delayed and I don't understand why Delta wouldn't do everything it could to expedite every part of the process for its crew and passengers. I went through TSA pre-check with Delta crew members. My connecting flight was delayed. We were waiting on the pilot..."

Cons: "Maybe this is a China issue and not the airline but I wasn't able to bring an unopened bottle of water that I purchased in the security area. This made the 10 hour flight very uncomfortable as I went hours without water. Also, use of iPad for reading books wasn't allowed after the flight was established, I'm not sure who came up with these regulations but after spending a month on various flights in Asia, this was the only flight where I encountered these issues. Also, there was no vegetarian option in economy. Fortunatly, the staff brought a left over dinner from business class but I find it hard to believe that flight to the US would not have a vegetarian option."

Pros: "One flight attendant who was on a plane not scheduled for this flight (much smaller plane than scheduled) so lots of people left behind. Don't know her name but she had the best personality and really took care of a lot of people not happy being late of stuffed into a very small plane."

However, after waiting on line when I got to the counter the attendant informed me that the flight was operated by American Airlines and I had to go to terminal 8. I ran to terminal 8 but by the time I got to the check in it was 6:15 and they said they said the check-in for the flight at 7(which was actually at 6:55pm) was closed for check-in. I was lucky enough that there was another Iberia flight (this one from terminal 7) st 8:30pm and the supervisor was able to find me a spot in that flight."

The gate attendants left at the time we were supposed to Board, then the departure time changed on the board and no announcement was made. Another gate attendant told me that the aircraft was at DYT, but the reason for delay was crew rest. As the delays continued, 3 in all, we were told that the aircraft was at DYT but we were waiting on a crew to be flown in from Charlotte. Not sure how AA messed up their crew rest schedule on domestic regional jet carrier. Either way, a new gate attendant arrived to take over, and continued to tell us we were waiting on crew. Then the story changed to waiting on aircraft and crew. By the time the 3rd change in departure had been made, and we were still waiting on aircraft and cre, AA failed to continue to update the departure and arrival times. Once we boarded around 9:00pm the boarding time still showed 8:10pm. Then we sat on the runway awaiting departure for approx 40 minutes before taking off. Very poor communication And customer service."

Terrible. Will never fly American Airlines again!"

I didn't purchase a sandwich but on the outbound flight, the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using on-board Wifi, as well as 2 TV shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."

Cons: "I purchased my ticket in March with seating assigned to me and then when I travel from Chicago to San Jose my seating was changed and I had to sit back in the 22nd row now I walk with a cane and so this is very was very painful for me, my itinerary said that my seating was row seven for the whole trip but when I got ready to fly home from Chicago to San Jose to- day ,so I was very uncomfortable. I did not know my seating had been changed."

Cons: "I tryed to call and send messages to chande the date of flight, but I didn't get any answers from agent. ANA Japan said they cannot handle the changing flight. So I haven't got a return ticket rescheduled. Please advice me how to get new ticket back to Hawaii date of 9/12 or 13 ASAP."

Pros: "I ultimately arrived at my final destination on the same day that I left, and 12 hours later instead of 36 hours later that it was looking like it'd be at the time. Crew at the gate and on the plane were wonderful. Personnel at the airport were also wonderful aside from the fact that I couldn't seem to get on the official standby list until my mother-in-law got me on by talking to personnel at a completely different airport."

Lines and phone hold times for rebooking took an hour each time I stood in line, which was four times.Thankfully, I was on standby for this same-day flight and was able to arrive at my destination 12 hours later than planned instead of 36 hours later than planned."

I hadn’t seen them for 3 years. Don't know when I'll be able to see them next. Not happy..."

Cons: "I had to interrupt my flight and book another flight from Denver to Phoenix. Mass confusion to simply guarantee my checked bag would no continue on to Maui. I was told to keep my bag at the ticket desk in Dayton....scolded for doing so at the gate....then again scolded for same thing at gate for Denver to Phoenix. At least I kept track of my bag through it all."

All this because the plane's computer did not agree with the central computer. So: 1) Why didn't the pilot check and fix this discrepancy at the gate? 2) Why did it take more than hour for them to decide what to do? 3) Why did the pilot and cabin crew take over an hour to inform us what was going on? There were many angry people on this flight, including me."

Pros: "The flight crew and flight was perfectly smooth and crew was very nice and appologetic about the delay etc. even gave me a separate snack due to food allergy."
Cons: "Delays are never fun and unfortunately our flight was delayed, but more importantly the pre-boarding staff and crew were rediculously rude. They yelled at one lady bc she didn't speak English. They were stressed I am sure with delays and working the gate that has like 5 flights leaving at once, but they could be a bit better at their job by being polite to us the customers! They were so frazzled bc of what was going on that they acted like it was our fault, which of course it isn't! Additionally, our flight was overbooked by 6 people! And had standby of 4 and the staff kept announcing they were going to kick 6 people off and we wouldn't know until we were boarding and it was going to be by whoever paid the lowest price per ticket which btw is not the policy. The United policy says that it goes by class of ticket, which probably goes hand in hand, but hey really need to get thier staff on board with the policies. It makes you feel pretty crappy sitting there waiting to see if just bc you bought your ticket on a Tuesday at a good rate that you are not going to make it home to see your family! And the people making the announcements could be a bit more chipper also, we the customers didn't overbook the flight and we surely do not want to miss said flight so don't announce over PA system in threatening way bc United is trying to make more money by overbooking flights! This might never be read, but I hope that kayak can pass along this information to the Dullus United team to try and make the flights more enjoyable in the future"

Cons: "Checked bags are $40, but carry on luggage is also $40. It costs money to try to sit next to your travel companion. Soft drinks, water, coffee all cost extra. Seats don't lean back, no in-flight entertainment. Don't see why anyone flies Frontier - after all the hidden fees, it's more expensive than other options."

Cons: "DID NOT like having to wait in Denver airport for the scheduled 9 hour layover and then delayed for another 1.5 hour for a total of 10+ hours. DID NOT like getting lured into a great schedule in March and then in May you cancelled the flight and we had a 9 + hour layover. TERRIBLE. Will never fly with Frontier again. :("

Cons: "Seats are ok for average sized person, but tight if you are large. The guy seated next to me was large and his knees were almost touching the seat in front of him. Make sure you pay for your luggage ahead of time, online, because it is cheaper."

Pros: "The initial price was great. The direct flight was fantastic. No wasted airport time."
Cons: "I paid an extra $16 because I thought I had to pay for my seat. It was an emergency aisle so I got more leg room, but my seat didn't recline at all. It was impossible for me to sleep during my 3 1/2 hour flight to Las Vegss. Each bag you brought must be paid for whether it was checked or carry on. My original ticket price was $241. With the $60 bag fee and $16 additional seat fee ( I did not reserve one on the way home, so there was no additional charge for that direction). My total was $317. I would have preferred a larger airline with reclining chairs and free movies."

Cons: "After boarding the plane, we sat on the tarmac for around 45 minutes while maintenance worked on the aircraft, with the flight crew refusing to give us any details as to what might be going on. We were late landing in Columbus as a result. Also, on the return flight, we somehow arrived an hour early and then had to sit on the tarmac again for close to an hour before we could get off the aircraft. This was a terrible experience with Frontier."

Pros: "The crew was great and the plane was roomy."
Cons: "There were charges for everything! Carry-ons, seating, and even all in-flight beverages."

Pros: "Check-in went quickly and all personnel very courteous. I was assigned a middle seat and when I requested a window seat on the return flight, they were very accommodating. The cabin was very clean and the flight crew very professional and friendly. Both flights were on time, I might add. Would definitely choose Frontier for my next flight."

Cons: "Both times flights were delayed by minor maintenance or paper issues. Seems Frontier is not so efficient at preparing flights mechanically and paperwise as other airlines. Or maybe they had to run to Home Depot for a part. Either way it seemed they should have anticipated the minor issues earlier rather than delay the flight."

Cons: "Nickel and diming the heck out of me. I ended up spending more with frontier in a cramped flight with no leg room or amenities and was over charged for baggage and denied a refund for the extra bag fee (a bag I did not have) I will never fly frontier again."

Pros: "The people who were suppose to be check me and my friend in were not on time they told us we could take a carry-on but then charged us both ways (to and from) the plan was delayed going and coming back workers were rude and not polite at all. Called customer service and emailed them they said they could not do anything about it. I even took picture and video of the workers coming in and out of the door playing on their phone sitting in the wheelchairs and they said they still could not do anything. When walking up to ask question the works had really bad and pissy attitude then after boarding we sat on the run way for another 2-3 hr after already being delayed but 3 hrs inside the airport they change you for everything don't give any complementary snacks or drinks"

We took smaller backpacks instead to avoid the fees after calling the airline for absolute dimensions allowed. I know, buyer be ware, but Kayak should flag Frontier for customers. Disappointed in the anxiety created as I tried to check in for the flight the day before and only then learned about the carry-on fee at Frontier."

Pros: "The flight crew was friendly and attentive. The plane was immaculate. The pilots kept us informed and made a great landing. Every Frontier employee that I came in contact with was terrific. As a former stewardess and ticket agent I am very picky!!!! I loved my jobs with the airline and had great fun with the passengers/customers while giving good service. Lots of KUDOS to all the Frontier people that I came in contact with. Will fly with you again. The first and last time that I flew Frontier was in 1961 connecting from a United flight in Denver to Frontier going to United's stewardess school in Cheyenne,Wyoming! Sincerely, Pat Ollinger"

Pros: "She's the best! She was the best airport employees I've ever dealt with. She made she we would make it to our flight when we were running late. She went above and beyond to help us and we couldn't have been more pleased. She was an angel sent to us to make that flight and we are just so thankful."

Cons: "If you don't prepay for your checked bags online, they charge you more at the ticket counter for no reason. The Web site is very buggy and full of errors. It took forever to prepay for our checked bags. We even had to call their online support staff because their Web site is so full of bugs. They also charge even more for a carryon bag than a checked bag -- which is ridiculous -- so the entire overhead bins were empty. Insane. A few of the ticket counter staff were lazy rude utter morons. Others were helpful. The planes seem very old. The seats are uncomfortable and small. No entertainment system. Every little thing has an exorbitant cost -- including coffee or coke -- on a 4 hour flight. It's cheap ---- but not cheap enough for the horrible experience and lack of service and lack of quality or comfort. Buses are much more comfortable."

Cons: "VERY FEW, one, AIRPORT PERSONNEL TO ASSIST ELDERLY TRAVELERS NO CURBSIDE ASSISTANCE; NO WAY TO OBTAIN WHEELCHAIR AT THE CURB; ONE FRONTIER EMPLOYEE AT CHECK-IN AND SHE LEFT TO TAKE MY WIFE IN A WHEELCHAIR THROUGH SECURITY AND TO THE GATE"

Pros: "I liked that I received a text from Frontier at 430am letting me know about the first delay. Unfortunately not everyone was as lucky as me. I liked how polite the crew was. I liked how they provided me with a $100 voucher to make up for my delayed flight and allowed me to use it to pay for my carry on bag and seat on my return flight."
Cons: "The flight was scheduled to take off at 8:00 but was delayed over 8 hours until 4:30pm. It was then delayed again and ended up take off at around 530pm. Then upon landing we were told there was no gate available and we ended up sitting on the runway about 20 minutes. So I got off the plan about 10 hours after I was scheduled to get off the plane. I also didn't like that you had to pay for everything: checked bags, carry on bags, snacks, soda. I mean I thought we would at least get one free cup of soda."
