Pros: "Seats felt thin"

Cons: "There crew was not welcoming nor understanding of the passengers' frustrations caused by the delays. There was no air-conditioning on the flight, no air circulation to speak of. No food was served due to turbulence or so we were told."

Pros: "Tim was great!"

Cons: "The a/c wasn't working. Flight attendants acted annoyed by the people flying, no connectivity to gogo inflight."

Pros: "The air hostess didn’t smile while offering cookies, but she wasn’t rude. She later asked my fellow passenger to move to another window seat and I had the comfort of 2 seats."

Pros: "The staff was fantastic. Very helpful."
Cons: "Flight was delayed twice causing us to miss our layover. The only way they initially could correct the issue was by booking us a flight 5 days later. Finally found a helpful person at the gate after calling American Airlines and getting no help. We lost day of our trip, but it’s better than 5."

Cons: "Get the plane to terminal bridge and not buss the passengers to and from to plane."

Pros: "The service representative at check in was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist my husband and I. American Airlines was outstanding on all fronts."
Cons: "However my overall experience with kayak and csfare was poor as they made a mistake on the name on my ticket that was not found until the day of my international flight and once I got a hold of customer service after calling 4 different numbers... most did not have 24 hr service... they stated they were unable to assist me and had no other options or solutions. American Airlines tried to help and eventually were able to accommodate me through purchasing a new ticket and ensured my husband and I were still sitting together. Kayak and csfare basically told me sorry for your luck. I will not use this company again."

Pros: "We where late boarding, jet didn’t have fuel, we had delay after delay. This flight is never on time. every time I have taken this flight I am delayed. Also getting into charolette, we always spend at least 20 min on the tarmac"

Cons: "I'm a tall person and there wasn't an option to get a seat with any extra leg room. Additionally, the gate staff were not helpful or informative about the flight and rushed when it was time to board."

Pros: "Unlike previous AA flights, the process was smooth everywhere it mattered. Attendants and crew were friendly, service was prompt, flight was smooth."
Cons: "Attendant was unable to upgrade me to first class due to a system error they couldn't fix. Boarding was unnecessarily delayed because the attendant on staff was not the scheduled attendant and they were scrambling to catch up."

Pros: "Excellent service gate to gate."

Pros: "Nice legroom! Easy boarding, everything good and on time. Short flight so didn’t use entertainment."

Cons: "Flight from Columbus was delayed due to crew member family emergency. AA said I would miss my connection in Charlotte. The only alternate connection was too late to complete the trip. I nearly canceled the trip. I reboarded and made my connection with 10 minutes to spare. Also, my destination (Greenville) was only 90 miles from Charlotte, the connecting airport (unbeknownst to me). AA should have offered the option of driving to my destination."

Cons: "we arrived and it took 15 min for a gate agent to bring the jetbridge out to the plane....sad!"

Cons: "Never knew flying domestically with a company named American would be so impossible. A true joke. Never had such difficulties traveling about. Super unsatisfiee and will not be traveling with them again. I urge everyone considering to purchase other airlines as well."

Cons: "The delay in Columbus caused me to miss my connection and have to fly into LAX instead of LGB."

Pros: "Was a little slow in starting leaving too little time to drink my coffee and I was one of the first to be served."

Cons: "My flight was delayed 4 times from Columbus to Chicago due to an ATC issue in Chicago. On the 4th delay announcement I had to rebook my international flight for the following day because my connection was leaving Chicago while I was still in Columbus. I had to rebook and get a hotel for the night on my own expense since American Airlines won't pay if it is weather related even though the weather was not the issue, rather air traffic control. The plane we got the next day was a smaller uncomfortable plane with zero entertainment and a crew that projected they would rather be anywhere else. I don't blame them, my experiences with American Airlines had been progressively getting worse."

Cons: "Flight left late, once in Charlotte sat on taomac 20 min, waited 20 min for our forced to check carry on and missed our connecting flight. They gave away our seats and were not helpful. Eventually wander to a customer service desk. Anitbef ling wait. Finally got a flight out."

Pros: "It was okay"
Cons: "We loaded late and than sat in the plane awhile before we left. No explanation was given. Once we arrived in Charlie we sat on the tarmac for 20 min. No explanation. Than we waited 20 min fir our carry on luggage to arrive. We were told we had to check it. By the time we arrived at our gate they had given outlet seats away. They were not very polity ir helpful."

Cons: "I was advised by customer service agent over the phone that it would only cost me $100 for an extra bag on my flight and that it would remain the same whether i paid it online or at the airport. However, at the airport i was told that the extra bag is $200. My office agreed to paying for the extra bag only for $100. Now I am out of pocket with $100. So disappointing."

Cons: "3.5 hours late out of Columbus, minimal if any communication by gate agents, 45 minutes wait for gate in PHL, 15 minutes at gate to get jet bridge to plane."

Cons: "ATC delay on take off and then a 10 min wait for a gate a DCA. Just disappointing in adding delays."

Cons: "There was no food or entertainment and the seats were old and uncomfortable and it was ridiculously cold"

Cons: "Gate agents need to talk slower then we're clearly… It's ridiculous how some of them talk, they need a communications course it's not that hard 10% slower equals 100% more effective."
