Pros: "This is the worst day of the year to travel. Hundreds of people waiting to catch flights to Seattle, which were delayed with no news of when they might fly. Alaska Airlines staff had way too to handle, but still found time to help a disabled person/passenger in need. Thank you."
Cons: "TSA had no time to help a disabled person, rather abruptly sending me from line to line to line, because I was disqualified from going through walk-through a certain scanner. Then was un-necessarilly angry with me for putting my Kindle on top of my laptop, to go through the scanner. If TSA had given clearer directions, I would have known how to place electronic devices in the plastic tub. Also they took my wallet from me to go through the scanned by itself. As TSA staff pushed belongings down the conveyor, the little dish holding my wallet turned over, credit cards and the like started to fall all over and under the machine. I started to collect my congtents and was told to stay put, and hold out my hands so they could swab my hands for explosives, and to not move while they put the swab in their sensing machine. Makes me want to not fly in the future."

So I asked nearby crew again, I was told then to go to Alaska Airline customer service. The crew was very helpful to give me a boarding pass there."

On top of that, flight attendant Angel was pretty rude, told another flight attendant that she should make people wait when trying to get back to their seat and the drink cart is in the aisle. Ended up paying for in flight wifi to tell them my flight was late. Overal this was an awful flight."

Definitely getting a COVID test and I will know where I got it from if I test positive. Also the seats are uncomfortable and it was a very bumpy flight (I understand that part cannot be avoided). I don’t understand how you cancel flights and bump people to other flights only for them to be SUPER packed. I thought at the rate of cases rising airlines should be doing a better job at taking safety precautions. Not American. Why do they think it’s a safe idea at this time to have my wife and I packed in with a total stranger for four hours? No social distancing whatsoever! Overall I cannot say a single good thing about this flight. Worst in my entire life"
Cons: "The flight was 2 hours delayed because there was a mechanical issue on the plane. We sat and waited on the plane for 1 hour while the Maintenance crew tried fixing the problem. After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay."

The flight crew still needed to get on a preform safety checks. He apologized again. Then it was 8:40, time to take off and we’re still waiting to even board. The man at the counter said again, thank you for your patience and relayed the same message, only this time the flight attendants were walking away from the gate. Around 9 some lady higher up told the man to announce that the flight crew had timed out and stand by crew was on the way to the gate, said sorry again. A little later the man says sorry, there’s a gate change. You’re going to K6 now. When we get to the new gate it’s almost 9:30pm and while we were all gathered at the gate, the flight crew that supposedly “timed out” showed up and proceeded to get on the plane. Passengers started getting mad and saying we were lied to and to just tell us the truth. Chicago PD started showing up. We finally got on the plane but it would be another 30 minutes before we moved because of issues getting our bags off the original plane. We ended up being almost 2 hours delayed."

Instead of taking off on time or just a couple minutes late (and oh by the way, the flight to SMF was scheduled to land early because of favorable winds) the flight left the gate early while we were sprinting from gate C31 to A17, missing the door closing by minutes and stranding our party for a three hour wait for an aircraft that went to SFO instead (75 miles away from Sacramento). As the coup de gras, our luggage didn't make it on the plane to SFO so now it's sitting in Sacramento awaiting delivery. I know there were a lot of upset people with the weather delays yesterday, but a bit of foresight or accommodation by American or a particularly savvy gate agent could have prevented the 5 of us from being among them."

My friend moved up to a different seat that was empty to try to get power for her phone and told she needs to pay 160$ to sit in that seat even though the plane is half empty. Just really poor experience overall.."

Cons: "They do have hidden fees... such as printing your boarding pass, choosing your seat (not a premium seat, just any seat!), and a fee for carry ons. At the gate they said they were going to charge $65 for a carry on, but if we wait until boarding they would charge $100. It's extortion, plain and simple. Luckily, I only had a backpack, so that didn't count. I also packed my own food, so I have no idea what they would have charged there. Make sure you print your boarding passes at home and let them assign you your seat, if the computer does it they won't charge you."

Cons: "There was a huge delay and they weren't giving us information, they were instead saying things like "it'll be at least an hour before we give you information". Also I chose a seat that was $16, changed my mind and chose a $0 seat but was still charged $16 for downgrading and they won't refund me even though it was clearly some kind of glitch."
Cons: "- Flights are even more cramped than normal - the trays barely hold the beverage cup - no in flight entertainment - bringing a carry-on costs money - my return flight was delayed hours in advance, but frontier still required passengers to be in the airport - updates were few and far between and provided no concrete information - after being in the airport for 5 hours they just cancelled the flight and forced us to wait in the ticket line to rebook the flight which was another couple hours from start to finish - frontier refused to give hotel vouchers to people with in-state licenses, even if they lived hours away - after finally arriving back home, there was no gate ready for us and we had to park and/or taxi for at least another half hour - in both directions there were unruly children (not babies) YELLING on the plane without any comments or effort to quiet them by the flight crew or their parents"

I can't believe there is no wifi and there is an up charge for everything. This was my worst flight ever and I fly A LOT."
Cons: "Flight price may have been lower, but EVERYthIng else on Frontier was cheap. There's a difference. Bathrooms were filthy, seats are very uncomfortable,. When the service cart came around, the gentleman sitting next to me asked the attendants if they charged for water! I'm only 5'2" and it was crowded. But the crowning insult was being charged $60 for each piece of carry on luggage. Neither Kayak or Frontier say upfront or easily identifible, that if you show up with a suitcase you pay for it. We were quite surprised and disappointed. Will never fly such a cheap airline again. To Frontier: really? Really? Include costs in your fares."

Cons: "Previously flown on frontier and this is not what I remembered. Looks like they remodeled the insides of their plane. However, not to their customers comfort. Seats were like plastic bucket seats covered in vinyl. Extremely thin padding on bottom. I ended up sitting on the pillow I had bought for my neck. 4 hour non stop flight, and 2 weeks later my tailbone still feels uncomfortable. No head rest support and THE SEATS DID NOT RECLINE!!!! Luckily, I had gotten little sleep the night before and forced myself to sleep throughout the flight to get through it. No entertainment to speak of, and the tray you are offered to put your drink on cannot have been more than 5 inches deep. The lady next to me could not put her computer on it. Boarding was slow as they did not make it clear to passengers that carry on overhead space was now being charged!!! Front desk ticketing clerk should be notifying passengers prior to security. I witnessed another couple forced to pay $60 per carry on at the gate! As we bought our tickets months ago we should have been grandfathered in at no charge. We ending up paying $70 total to check one bag online and check one at the ticket counter. Disappointed with Frontier as we flew Delta here with no baggage prices. Frontier has gotten the last of my hard earned $$$. Now that I know how sly Frontier has gotten, I will spend the extra money for a more expensive and COMFORTABLE airline."

They were very accommodating. I didn't eat any food, but it smelled amazing. I would definitely suggest Frontier to any one flying I know I will be booking with them again."

Cons: "I did not have a food/drink menu in my seat compartment, nor did anyone else in my row. When the stewardess walked by, I asked her for one. She rudely snapped at me "well you should have one" and then she walked away. She never came back with a menu. I was so stunned by her sharp attitude that even the girl sitting at the row across from me felt bad and asked for a menu from someone in her row just to give it to me. At that point I didn't even want to look at the menu and I didn't order anything. I probably would have otherwise. I don't know why this particular stewardess acted like that towards me as I had not interacted with her previously nor was I rude at all. All I said was "can I please see a menu? I don't have one." This was my first time flying with Frontier and I will probably not fly with them again. I will stick with United and Delta. I have never been treated like that on an airline before."
